I nominate the tag-team, dynamic duo of Paul and Cecelia. That would be a fun post to watch!

I think Paul and I are more like James Carville and Mary Matalin.

Only I'm the crazy southerner.

I think that has potential if we had some kind of groundrules....like each would get a certain number of words to have their say...or a point-counterpoint format where they exchange a limited series of e-mails (say 3 each) and then post their "debate" for the rest of us to read as a post.

Or something along these lines; if someone has a variation on this add it here.

Cecilia and Paul...are you game? Even if it a limited engagement like for the month of March?

As much as I enjoy debating Paul, I really don't want to feel obligated to watch Countdown and then analyse it.

That would take all the fun out of snarking on Keith...

Sorry I've not gotten to check in lately...I've been WORKING. At any rate, thanks for your compliments, especially yours, C. I'm flattered all around.

I'd consider contributing at some point but at the moment, it's not practical. My work runs hot and cold, so any engagement must accommodate that. I must agree with C on that watching Olbly regularly start to finish may prove to be a chore. The past week I've not been able to watch much TV, although it often blares in the background as I work. But once a week shouldn't be difficult. The email exchange idea could be cool. C and I do argue from a point of mutual respect and manage to still disagree a lot. I think it could generate interest and stimulate discussion.

I chuckled reading the Carville/Matalin analogy. We'd be like the Bizarro Carville/Matalins. And C, I do possess some southern "sensabilities". My mom's half West Virginian and my oldest son came home recently reporting he'd become a NACAR fan. ;D

I hope to soon be past this meager attempt to pay a few bills and reach the point I'll again be able to partake in some spirited debate. On contributing, though, I'll just have to wait and see.

Afterall, with Countdown's numbers we never know when we'll be all be out on the street.
