Something must have been in the water over Seacaucus way Friday night. Keith's Hour of Spin was surprisingly light on his usual partisan biases. True, he did devote large chunks of his show to noncontroversial topics like the fires in California and the missing white mother of a found girl. But even the "worst people" segment was apolitical. What's going on?

The closest Olby came to showing his cards was during a discussion on Judith Miller's release from the pokey. There is a very intriguing question swirling around this situation: if Miller was waiting for another release from Lewis Libbey, why did she sit behind bars for nearly two weeks after that most recent release was provided? It appears that she was negotiating with the prosecutor to limit her testimony so as to not cover other sources she still wants to protect. Judging from his disinterest in pursuing this, it raised no eyebrows with KO--but it does with us.
