It's our fault and we take full responsibility. We should have known that with Olby and The Hour of Spin you can't take anything for granted, even something as routine as a sign-off.
We pledge that we will redouble our efforts to fulfill our Olbermann watching duties: every word, every sneer, every crumpled paper toss, every raised eyebrow, even if it means putting up with Michael Musto.
Johnny,
I noticed Keith's sign-off the other night and had forgotten about it.
Such an appropriate one for a "news show" and from a "news anchor"...
But what can you say about a guy who makes the point that conservative talk show hosts and Michelle Malkin all responded like "Pavlov's dog" (negatively) to the political potshots fired at Mrs. King's funeral.
Prescient, ain't he... Course we could have predicted that Olbermann and the retinue at Air America would respond like Pavlov's dog and salivate over the funeral put-downs...but don't tell Keith...
He thinks he's Jean Dixon...
p.s. Whatever happened to our Pavlovian Animal? Did it go with Bob? :D
Impeachment Imminent: GOP sources are increasingly concerned with the likelihood of impeachment of President George W. Bush. As Bush's popularity and influence wane, Republican lawmakers are feeling pressure from Democratic and, more importantly, independent voters to investigate the President's actions in domestic spying, the Plame affair and his connections to now disgraced GOP super-lobbyist Jack Abramoff.
"The worst thing (Bush) has done is denied knowing Abramoff", said one GOP staffer, speaking on anonymity. "Of course there are pictures out there that are going to be published. It is the top of a slippery slope where voters realize that Bush's answers just don't add up, and expect the Congress to get to the bottom of it... a whitewash report would be a disaster."
I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate that impeachment is not imminent...
