Well, the above is very interesting! Assuming "Mohammed" who lives near a terrorist safe haven is telling the truth (a humongous if), he may be correct for the wrong reasons. When someone suffers a cardiac arrest, what do you do?

As far as wrapping the guys head, if he were bleeding, compression bandages would be applied with what was available. Reports say he was covered in blood.

I work with for an EMS provider in FL as a first responder. In CPR class, the instructor told us early on that when doing CPR, if you don't break a rib, you aren't doing it right. It may sound crass, but if you don't use enough force, you aren't doing much good.

Internal bleeding, probable from the force of the blast, has to go somewhere. The mouth and nose are likely. As is bleeding into the GI tract.

As part of my job, we do transport work with the ME's office. Its pretty rare when we get on scene to see a decedent who doesn't have blood or fluid coming out of the nose and mouth (and other orifices) especially after trauma.

Abrams is a liberal, so? Or at least in my view he is. His news show was an opinionated one and when he did express his opinion on certain topics (abortion, etc.) he took the liberal point of view. Although this doesn't mean he's a "far-left propagandist," he disagrees with the left on many issues as well. I don't see what politics have to do with taking over a news network. Sorry been tipin the bottle a little. I was just curious, I haven't read this or seen it on T.V. This story must not be getting much press time except on this site. This leads me to believe that not very many reporters or news outlets are believing it. I just didn't think this story was "DEFINITIVE PROOF that Zarqawi was tortured!" as suggested by OLBERMANN FAN CLUB. i thought conservatives were in full support of our troops? I still say good job troops. Job well down. Don't let conservatives take away from what you have accomplished.

I mentioned this on the other thread, but it's closed now. One of the articles Bob linked to said the Kaplan will be paid the last 6 months on his "3 year, $1 million per year" deal. I know it seems like a great deal for what Kaplan actually did (started a bunch of shows that ran for a month or two, took over a third place horse in a three horse race, and kept it third). But $1M a year to run a network? Surely some of their "talent" has to be making more than that. No wonder no one wants the job.

Congrats to Abrams. Watch his show, and you can tell he has a liberal bent, but he is mostly fair and shares some conservative views, like a hard on for tort reform and strikning frivolous lawsuits (made clear on his jury duty show) believe it or not.
