On his radio show tonight, Matt Drudge commented on The Olbermann Letters. The clip begins with Matt replaying a classic bit of Olby fake news: another KO "report" that was proven false the very next day but never corrected or retracted [mp3 audio]:
Yes it's best as a dish served up cold. Drudge gets to have a laugh at the expense of Mr. Potty Mouth. Did Drudge call Keith 'dear'? It sounded like it.
On his return Monday: Opee frets about the end of the world with film star Algore.
Then Musty 'n' Mo go into detail about just how gay Drudge really is, but yet he has no fashion sense at all with that "thilly" hat he wears.
Then the KOpester tells Drudge that he can "go f**** his mother."
Hopefully Olbermann will reveal his conversion to Islam (There's rumors on this)and then blow him self up injurying no one but himself!
Kieth Olbermann's kiss and make-up with the universe he offends?
He'll give some vague apology and name himself 'worst person in the world'.
or in scenario 2,
It's on.
Actually, if Turley is his guest Monday, he's going to go hot and heavy on the NSA wiretapping. Kieth is going to try and make the Watergate style case against the WH. Thinks he's woodward(who he hates) and Bernstien(who Olbie loves), but instead of actually researching the argument, he's is going to have Turley on more than Joe Wilson was, hammering hom his beliefs by finding guests who will support them. Talk about using the guy.
I almost missed herr olbermeister last week. Although his "fake news" show is not quite as funny as John Stewart's what he lakes in comedy he makes up for histrionics. Ol keith needed a week off to get a new designer tin foil hat made. Seriously the big orange head is paranoid . I have never seen anyone on TV before have more conspiracy theoris than him. He gives the X- files a run for their money. Where the hell did MSNBC find this guy and seriously how much longer does he think his five minutes of fame is going to last before he has to go back to sports news??
he is foul mouthed, condescending and just plain ridiculous. He is the new face of moon bat-ism and as such will be relegated to the dung heap of crediblity. I just wish I could have seen his head explode last week when the news came about Rove being exonerated.. no that would have been funny.
Keith is being awfully quiet about this. He didn't mention the emails on the ESPN radio show and has yet to apologize publicly to Rita. Something smells fishy.
TVNewser (prez of Olby's fan club) reported today that MSNBC staffers and Dan Abrams just adore Brian Unger and there is speculation that he may be hired soon. Hmmmm...I wonder what kind of show he would do well on...gee, I don't know. Could this be the countdown to Olbywan hitting the bricks?
Hmmmm - could it be that someone had a little talk with him and told him to clean up his act? Of course, the night is young.
What a lack of credibility for NBC News
He should never have been allowed behind the desk for another minute. Hypocritical, two faced, dishonest network - NBC
He didn't say a word about Rita or the e-mails tonight. Well, interviewing Big Al kept him from having to go back to Secaucus and face the rest of the employees who are so far below him. I'm sure someone scheduled a meeting with him today while he was at network HQ (other than Al).
But he took the opportunity tonight to slam MSNBC several times during the first 10-15 minutes of the show as he interviewed fellow liberal lefty Dana Milbank. He's probably still pissed he got called on the carpet for his last round of remarks so what does Olby do? Go off on the network again. Insanity defined my friends.
Olbermann actually did say a sentence about his e-mails. Suprised nobody caught it.
nah, OlbyWatchers can`t make mention of Keith`s self-deprecating humor, that would be too fair and balanced.
GORE: Go to the movie and read the book, learn about it. And then make a decision to become carbon neutral. Do everything you can to reduce the CO2 that you`re responsible for, and then find ways to offset the rest. It`s not that hard.
OLBERMANN: Does my hot air personally contribute to the problem or is that something.
GORE: It`s negligible.
OLBERMANN: Well, we`ll see. A pleasure to have you here sir, thank you for coming on.
GORE: Thank you for having me.
OLBERMANN: OK, thanks.
-------------
canned nutjob response: OH YEAH, JUST LIKE HOW KRAZY KEITH IS (UN)FAIR AND (UN)BALANCED EVERY NIGHT OF THE WEEK, MOONBAT! IF HE WASN`T HE WOULD HAVE GUESTS OPPOSED TO HIS OWN LEFTY PROPAGANDA SPIN MACHINE LIBERAL MEDIA LOONEY VIEWS! OH YEAH, I ALMOST FORGOT, GORE IS A FAT BLOWHARD! HA! NO WONDER HE LOST `CAUSE OF HIS ALTERNATIVE REALITY LEFTY LEFT VIEWS. YOU LOONIE LEFT OLBYMANIACS.
Nah,
What in God's name are you ranting about? What is you major malfunction?
As for your state or Olby's state of "carbon," I can't wait until you and Olby are "carbon irrelevant" (i.e. reduced to your component parts by time and the elements).
We caught his comments, Nonfactor. They just weren't noteworthy. I'm sure he and MSNBC just want the whole thing to go away.
MSLSD logic:
Olbermann has poor ratings, alienates viewers, and is immature enough to write obscene e-mails from his work account -- KEEP HIM IN PRIME TIME
Unger has poor ratings, no talent, and alienates viewers -- WE LOVE HIM! LET'S GIVE HIM A SHOW
Rita Cosby has lost her voice -- LOVE IT! HOW UNIQUE! A BROADCASTER THAT IS IRRITATING TO LISTEN TO!
Is there someone trying to actively destroy this absurd channel?
Nah,
Yes, it's so impressive to see Orange Boy genuflect to his hero Algore, proponent of the Kyoto Treaty that was such an embarrassment that it was shot down 99-0 by the Senate.
Maybe the reason that Olbermann's (rare) moments of self deprecation go unmentioned is that such moments are overwhelmed (in volume and stench) by his unctuous moralizing and his readiness to latch on to the most delusional conspiratorial lunacy if he can possibly use it to impugn the Bush administration. Here's one part of the Gore interview you left out where Orange Boy, in typical Krazy Keith fashion, asks a disjointed question to try to get a fellow loony lefty on board with his Kraziness:
OLBERMANN: Let me get a couple of quick thoughts from you on some other current political issues. You mention if this newscast the convenience of some of the development in the counterterror area and in Iraq. The Zarqawi computer files turned out to have all these statements that talk about how our efforts there have hindered the insurgency. It just seemed to be unusually convenient things. Should we be suspicious of stuff like that?
Gore to his credit didn't take the bait.
I think KK must have received one of those tinfoil hats that some of the Kossacks were donning at the Kos Konvention last week.
It would be totally cool to bore through solid rock like it was air. Therefore, I think we should have the option to become silicon-based lifeforms. All at federal expense.
Then Algore could retire and get off our cases.
Yes, it's so impressive to see Orange Boy genuflect to his hero Algore, proponent of the Kyoto Treaty that was such an embarrassment that it was shot down 99-0 by the Senate.
WRONG! President Bill Clinton never sent the Kyoto Treaty to the Senate for ratification because it did not include meaningful participation by developing nations and President George W. Bush refuses to submit it for ratification citing economic worries.
What you mention is the Byrd-Hagel Resolution (which passed 95-0), stating that the United States should not (but not will not) be a signatory to any agreement that did not include developing as well as industrialized nations or would have a negative impact upon the economy of the United States.
OK, you caught my mistake. The larger point remains that the Gore endorsed Kyoto Treaty was so fatally flawed it would have suffered an overwhelming defeat in the Senate. Loopholes to except "developing nations" from compliance were an integral part of the Kyoto treaty so a resolution to not accept ANY treaty with such language is tantamount to an avalanche like defeat of Kyoto itself.
Where did Olbermann get fired from? Who would hire a nut like him? He must really want Bill O to say something, anything! Guess Bill ignores him.
The guy really is diva. I work in commercial scheduling and got a prissy E-mail forwarded from Olbi-won-cojone'. Mr. Liberla is very intolerant of anyone else's mistake when lighting him. Sounded like 10 year old with good grammar.
