Diego Vasquez of Media Life Magazine serves up yet another healthy does of KOLove from the MSM with his witty and inciteful piece, The Olbermann factor: Keith doing Bill
The Fox News Channel host...has become Olbermann’s personal punching bag over recent months. Whether that’s coincidental or causing “Countdown’s recent ratings surge is debatable but certainly interesting.
h/t Missy
Missy was so distaught over this bit of puffery that I felt compelled to defend her honor by writing an email to Mr. Vasquez:
===================
Mr. Vasquez,
I read your recent article on Keith Olbermann where you speculate as to the cause "'Countdown’s' recent ratings surge".
I have to wonder if you are aware that from their peak during and immediately after the 2006 Winter Olympics, parts of which were broadcast on MSNBC, the ratings for Countdown with Keith Olbermann have been in steady DECLINE over the past four months.
Over the past two months he had dropped back into fourth place in a three network race (he is also behind Nancy Grace on HLN). In order to make itself seem more competitive, the PR department at MSNBC has taken to promoting Countdown's ratings in the "25-54 Demo"; Countdown has now slipped back to behind Paula Zahn in the much-touted demo.
As I cover Keith Olbermann on my site, I am sure my readers would be fascinated to learn more about this "recent ratings surge" to which you refer?

We will post a link to the correction and apology here.
Do you think the correction and apology will come before or after the Countdown clock runs out?
Vasques also notes that O'Reilly more than doubles Olby's viewers for the hour on MSNBC!!
Another Robert Cox obsession. He's moved on from wikipedia and found another site. Let the crusades begin!
The Olbyloons would know all about crusades wouldn't they? They're determined to silence any and every critic Olbermann has ever had. No discouraging word should ever be heard about their man. Apparently they've never quite studied the US Constitution which grants the citizens of this country certain rights, namely, the freedom to disagree with one another. Oh no, they want it all Olby, all the time.
Dear You oughta know,
I dont believe i am familiar with the part of the constitution that says we have the freedom to disagree with one another. That must be in the bill of rights right before the clause that says no Nazi references of any kind.
Mr. Cox is disputing a factual statement in this "reporters" article. freedom of the press hopefully means telling the truth.
Then maybe one day, hope springs eternal, Olbermann will actually tell the truth instead of presenting a slanted newscast.

meaningless hyperbole.

I betting he does it before Bill Oreilly does.
And i'm betting your wrong. O'Reilly will at least admit and apologize for his mistakes which is more than Olbermann has ever done.

Still haven't heard him apologize for some of the war on christmas stuff he made up
