I wonder if this type of "reporting" is what Brian Willliams had in mind when he called TVNewser a must read [emphasis added].
Attention all interns: TVNewser wants your Intern Tales. What's it like working at a cabler like FNC, CNN, MSNBC, or CNBC? How about a broadcast net like NBC, ABC or CBS? Who's nice? Who's not so nice? Who's a complete asshole? What are the best parts of the job -- and what are the worst? TVNewser wants to know.
Apparently, "who's a complete asshole" is considered good journalistic form at Towson State's University's journalism program. Even better, not only offering but encouraging anonymous sourcing of opinion and single-soured information that that can't be corraborated:
I won't print your name or e-mail. For complete anonymity, use the anonymous tip box, located on the upper right side of this page. (I'll have no idea who you are.)
Brian adds helpfully: "...keep the identifying info to a minimum."
Yep, God forbid TVNewser sources be accountable for their own words!
Wow. I see where Countdown eeked out a ratings win over a replay of 'Poker' on CNBC Friday night (in the prolific-all-important-monumental-paramount demographic).
Way to go, Keith...all you have to do now is quadruple your ratings in that demo and you'll beat out Zahn. Your show is en fuego!
What's wrong with these two sentences from TVSnoozer:
"CNN was the only broadcast network to air Bush's "sh--" unedited yesterday."
AND
"Who's a complete a--hole?"
Poor pudgy penguin Brian censors Bush, but not himself! That roly-poly kid should spend less time watching bad TV and more time exercising and / or doing class work.
DId he really call CNN a "broadcast network"? It's not either!
It's Towson U., not Towson State. They changed the name.
"It's Towson U., not Towson State. They changed the name."
Duly noted.
Funny but I have only heard it referred to as Towson State but I checked and see that they changed the name in 1997. I made a correction to the post.

Thanks for the heads up.
Why would you have heard of it? It's a third-rate university, at best.
