"COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN" (8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. ET)
Host: Keith Olbermann
Topics/Guests:
Just seconds into the opening spiel, the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann referenced the "purported" terror plot in the UK, and wanted to know why Hillary Clinton's opponent hasn't withdrawn from the race for "comparing" her to Usama Bin Laden. Then it was off to the politicization of terror by the Republicans, including the President's "eternal" campaign, dubbed by Olby the "terror tour". Why is it that Democrats can claim that Republicans have "made America less safe" but the discredited sports guy never cites that as an example of politicizing the war on terror? Why does he only select (R) examples to bellow about on The Hour of Spin? For that matter, why is water wet?
Allen was of course a perfect Xerox machine for OlbySpin, and he rattled on about Republicans running "the national security play". KO made the claim that the prosecution of the terror plotters will "unravel" because they were arrested too early at the Bush adminsitration's suggestion. Olby went on to suggest if a Democrat ad used Bin Laden's image in some sort of comparison to Dick Cheney, he would be "run out of town on a rail". Well, Keith, get your track shoes on. Here's an ad that does use Bin Laden's image (as well as imply that hispanic border crossers are on a par with North Korean terrorists) to attack not just Cheney but the entire GOP. You can launch your withering attack on the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee on tomorrow's Hour of Spin. We won't be holding our breath.
The teaser said, "Did the bottom just fall out of the liquid bomb plot?" Wow, is this something like the terror prosecution that Keith Olbermann wanted us to believe was "all but lost", and then when the guilty verdict came in he never reported it? That kind of bottom falling out? Olby wanted people to believe that the case is "thin", because the US has made it "impossible to convict anybody" by having them arrested too soon. The proof of this was to come in a recycled report from Lisa Myers, which began with the Al-Qaeda connections of some of the plotters. Hey, Keithie didn't even mention that part! As KO gave "great thanks" to the unspooling tape that played the report, we realized that nobody Myers spoke to or got a soundbite from said anything about it being the fault of the U.S.--which is precisely what Olby had claimed the report would focus on! Man, Olbermann can't tell the truth even when he's just introducing a tape.
In the #3 slot, The Man Tan Man went back to a Golden Oldie: Abu Ghih-raib (as he insisted on pronouncing it). Olbermann's eagerness to smear American troops had a rare intersection with an actual US soldier. This would be tricky. The topic itself makes George Bush's military look bad, but will this guy play along? Sgt Darby dismissed the notion that this was some sort of conspiracy or orders from higher up; it was just a "lack of supervision". Olby thought he saw an opening and struck:
Did you have a sense that this was because it was carte-blanche, that it had been, these sort of things had been authorized, without anybody ever telling you what sort of thing those sort of things were?
Um, no. Their duties were to house the prisoners, period. No interrogation whatsoever. Hmm. What's a discredited sports guy to do? Run a clip of Donald Rumsfeld praising Darby for turning in the participants, which apparently made public his involvement for the first time. Olby pounced:
How did you survive the rest of that tour in Iraq?
What is KO suggesting here? Does he hate our troops so much that he thinks they would take Sgt Darby out and lynch him, or burn him at the stake? Darby said 90-95% of his unit was fully supportive; only a small minority had a problem and they said nothing. Another dead end and at this point Krazy Keith basically gave up.
In the #2 slot, Monica Novotny reported on women in fantasy fashion leagues. Then it was on to Prince Harry, Prince William, and Cruise News! #1: Dell and its exploding batteries. Dogs that didn't bark: for the second day in a row, not one word about the kidnapped Fox reporters. Of course not. First of all, he'd have to call it the "Fox Cartoon News Network", and that just might seem a tad insensitive. And besides, it was done by Islamicists, and Keith just has to give them a break. After all, he will tell you, it was Israel's fault for starting this "pre-emptive" war in the first place!
Another episode of Kommandant Keith's Konspiracy Korner. I'm sure he feels at home in LA with his lib-nut entertainment industry buddies.
Just wondering if anyone could provide a synopsis of all the Cruise News over the past year on Olby. I haven't had the stomach to watch Olby yet, but sure enjoy the editorial opionions here. But it sure seems like Olby is covering Cruise way too much. I know Cruise has done quite a few nutty things over the past year, but not enough to merit nightly honorable mention. Summary please!!

Olbermann as always providing the Jihadi talking points. He's a deranged person. I wouldn't be suprised that he will convert to Islam and try to commit a suicide bombing at Fox News Headquarters!
Jim, didn't see Olby tonight either, but saw on AOL that Cruise apparently stalked Joe DiMaggio back in the mid'90s.
Look, the Democrats say - and will campaign on the claim - that Bush's policies haven't made us safer. Indeed, they say that we're less safe because his policies have alienated us from our allies and angered the Islamic world.
Dean says this, Pelosi says this, Reid says this.
Okay, nearly everyone accepts that that is a legitimate argument to pose. After all, that's what elections are for. Who has the best (or worst) policies to solve or address a major or critical issue facing the country.
But for some damned reason Olbermann (and the liberal press) get their panties in a wad if the Republicans say that Democratic policies will make us less safe.
As I said, it's certainly okay for the Democrats to say Bush hasn't made us safe. Run on that theme. But why isn't it okay for Bush to say that Democrats won't make us safe(r)?
It's called elections. Parties put forward their agendas and attack the other party's platforms.
This is bizarre.

Keith got married this weekend, on Sunday, on the Beach in LA to his little underaged girlfriend.
Keith Olbermann is this generation's Tokyo Rose! A slimey traitor!
To which we say, as always, many thanks, [insert name of Olber guest]. Always good to have you on sir.
I'm pretty sure no one of any importance will ever take this site seriously while your nazi salute cartoon is displayed, so my time posting here is done. Plus, I find it highly offensive, so have a nice day.
The Dems and KO want it both ways on the War on Terror..first they claim that Bush and Company are making up the threat from terrorist then they turn around and say that Bush and Company are not doing enough to protect us from a threat..which they claim dosen't exist in the first place.

I asked this on a thread the other day. Has the Media Matters segment been nixed by Dan Abrams?
I noticed it has been nowhere to be found of late, not that journalism will be any worse off without it.
The only problem with it disappearing would be that without that, Attacks #101-200 on BillO will take much much longer.

Of course, hit escape has plenty of criticism for those at Olbermann Watch who shine the light on Orange Boy's "highly offensive" Nazi salute, but, in spite of official admonishment from the ADL, hit escape has nothing to say about his disgusting Orange Hero, the orginal perpetrator of this Nazi salute dust up that has been discussed here on OW. I suspect that the Olbermann Nazi salute cartoon will come down when Keith apologizes for his vile deed.
Meanwhile hit, since you have such an interest in the Nazi salute topic, let me re-issue my challenge that I have previously offered up to every one of you Orange Boy lovers who can't bring yourself to find fault with the Orange Boy's Nazi salute:
If I were to lampoon former KKK member and WV Senator Robert Byrd with a white hood and burning cross, would that be any more morally objectionable than firing off the Nazi salute as Olbermann did when he was lampooning O'Reilly? Please offer coherent reasoning for your answer.

That new publicity thing didn’t seem to work Keith. Now I know every time these rating come out I ask you the same question. But this time I feel a since of urgency. Urgency because both Glen Beck and Nancy are riding your ass and this may be the last chance I get.
Who are you blowing in order to stay on the air? Nobody gets to go on this long with Larry King kick’ in his ass.

Opie has failed just about everywhere he has been - credibility totally lacking, constant fighting with his competitors, and that was in the harmless world of sports. Now we're suppose to listen to this nutjob's perspective on how the US should handle terror - yeah - sure Opie - the US is safe in your hands. Maybe you can send some nasty e-mails to Iran & Syria. Journalism schools for years can use this as a classic case study of "here's how not to do it"
I am new here - I think Keith Olbermann is the bomb! He is articulate and on the money - His facts are backed up by video reports while O'Reilly just spouts nonsense, lies and his idiotic opinions - He is practically duct taped to Rove, Cheney et al! Hannity is a raving idiot!..
What is going on in this world!
Are you all deaf, dumb and blind?
Um...What was...Um...I...supposed to...Um...say again....Um...Keith? I'm...Um....not used to...Um....memorizing...Um....lines.
I just saw the current ratings, with Keith down near the bottom.
To be more realistic, you ought to change the name of this site to:
Olbermann Watch (Countdown to No Ratings.)
O'Reilly just spouts nonsense, lies and his idiotic opinions - He is practically duct taped to Rove, Cheney et al! Hannity is a raving idiot!. What is going on in this world! Are you all deaf, dumb and blind?

Bocakiki writes:
"I think Keith Olbermann is the bomb! He is articulate and on the money"
Olbermann (or as we call him here Orange Boy) is the bomb in the sense that his ratings are abysmal and he can't even outdraw prison documentaries.
How about you bocakiki? Why don't you step up and take my Orange Boy challenge? I'm looking for Olby fans who think Orange Boy is "articulate and on the money" to defend their hero. Here is the challenge:
If I were to lampoon former KKK member and WV Senator Robert Byrd with a white hood and burning cross, would that be any more morally objectionable than firing off the Nazi salute as Olbermann did when he was lampooning O'Reilly? Please offer coherent reasoning for your answer.
Welcome, Newbie! Surprise us and offer some logical thoughts.
"there are no tapes like O'leilly left"
Oh, those tapes. Can you tell us where these tapes are, what's on them, a transcript of the content, things like that? How do you know they even exist?
Of couse, Olbermann's e-mails telling people to f*** their mother and calling Rita Cosby "dumb as rocks" are perfectly reasonable discourse with nary a peep from the Olbyloons for their Orange Hero's pathological behavior.
Oh they are still around. The transcripts show what a loofah O'Leilly is. Harassing a producer while he is married. What a paragon of virtues. Not to mention liar. Better look in the mirror.
O'Reilly= Successful, Fair& Balanced, ratings KING!
Olby= Embarrassment on a network where the uptenth repeats of "Doc-Block" get by far better ratings then Olby/Mat-hows?/Scar/Tucker!!!
"Oh they are still around"
Where?
"The transcripts show . . ."
How do you know? What is your source? The original transcript of these alleged tapes or what David Brock told you? Provide a link. While you are working on that, here are some more examples of Orange Boy's mental derangement:
“Rita’s nice,” Olbermann wrote to a fan from his MSNBC E-mail account, “but dumber than a suitcase of rocks
http://www.exposetheleft.com/2006/06/14/olbermann-email/
He was forced to apologize yesterday after more of his E-mails found their way to my inbox and exposed the host of MSNBC's "Countdown With Keith Olbermann" as insulting and frequently obscene in an acrimonious exchange with two viewers who taunted him.
Olbermann's antagonists, who asked not to be named, repeatedly claimed in their June 8 E-mails that dead Al Qaeda terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was Olbermann's "hero," prompting the television star to advise: "Hey, save the oxygen for somebody whose brain can use it. Kill yourself."
After I forwarded that and other E-mails to an MSNBC exec, Olbermann wrote: "I apologize to anyone who might take offense at my part of this correspondence. It goes without saying that I
should not have replied to these abusive and hateful E-mails, but I wonder how many of us could receive literally hundreds of them questioning our patriotism, religion and ethnic origin, without succumbing to the natural wish to confront such hate?"
Here are some examples of Olbermann "confronting hate":
"Given how far you are from knowing your a- from your elbow about my industry, you couldn't be stupider, wronger, or dumber ..."
"Go - your mother."
"You 'Americans' still watching that evil f- O'Reilly?"
Apparently, they are. Fox News' Bill O'Reilly draws six times the viewership of his 8 p.m. weekday rival.

That explains a lot. Olbermann is doing this Meltdown gig to try to bring embarrassment to the liberal cause (and a mighty fine job he's doing) because he's really a conservative with the hots for Ann Coulter.

You know, I'm loving this 2-week vacation. I don't miss O'Reilly and I certainly don't miss Olbermann. Actually watched all 9 innings of the ballgame last night without flipping any channels and then took a walk on the beach. And guess what: I'm still better informed than any Countdown viewers!
But what in the world is going on here? Looks like we've been infiltrated by multiple-alias left-wing olberloonies (I love that term) who copy and paste lies from blue blogs and report them as facts. Almost pathetic as KO's attempts to prove a "nexus." Think he even knows what that means?
Luckily, school starts again in a few weeks, and these folks will go back to their 8 PM bedtime.
Have a wonderful rest of the summer, fella(s).

Looks to me that registration for comments might be needed. Not my call, of course.
Lots of "Mobys" coming here and trying to drag things down.
It was interesting hearing Olbermann today on Dan Patrick where he (KO) was gnashing his teeth over the San Francisco Chronicle reporters who where threatened with imprisonment if they didn't reveal confidential sources. KO was really concerned about the implications for press freedom.
Course, he wasn't as concerned about protecting confidential sources when it was Judy Miller in trouble.
Interesting as I say.
But of course KO has no political agenda or views on these things.

INCOMPETANT LYING INVADER FRUSTRATED BY FAILED FOREIGN POLICY, OCCUPIED INGRATES
WASHINGTON, Aug. 15 -- President Bush made clear in a private meeting this week that he was concerned about the lack of progress in Iraq and frustrated that the new Iraqi government -- and the Iraqi people -- had not shown greater public support for the American mission, participants in the meeting said Tuesday.
"I sensed a frustration with the lack of progress on the bigger picture of Iraq generally -- that we continue to lose a lot of lives, it continues to sap our budget," said one person who attended the meeting. "The president wants the people in Iraq to get more on board to bring success."
More generally, the participants said, the president expressed frustration that Iraqis had not come to appreciate the sacrifices the United States had made in Iraq, and was puzzled as to how a recent anti-American rally in support of Hezbollah in Baghdad could draw such a large crowd. "I do think he was frustrated about why 10,000 Shiites would go into the streets and demonstrate against the United States," said another person who attended.
I'm not sure what's set them off, possibly knowing Bob's on vacation but they do seem to be rather unhinged as of late don't they? Maybe it's seeing what we've predicted come to fruition: KO's unraveling at the seams and his recent decline in ratings. I think they honestly believe that if they cause enough trouble here, that Bob will shut down this site. They don't know Bob very well do they?

Ratings that's all O'Leilly can claim. Fair and balanced my butt. He sucks up to the current corrupt administration. And what a bully. Oh yeah he has opposing views on his hr of crap -- only to bully them. Can't even admit BULL settled out of court and didn't deny the Andrea Mackris claims. Just because a movie sells a lot of tickets does not mean it's good. Same thing with your idiot. He is a boil on the butt of humanity. And you hate mongers should get on your knees and thank your god Reagan for all the hate on the airwaves since he started in all in 1983.
Yeah I'm so transparent your ridiculous...good one. I love it... So let me get this "straight" (does that word upset you "Steve"?)
1. You sit around and watch the Oberdouche show every night
2. You sit around all day and spout Democrapic talking points while pretending to critisize Oberdouche and the "liberal media" of which he is a part
3. You stare treason in the face and don't do shit.
And somehow I am the "Moby," whatever the fuck that is? Did I get that right, "Steve?" Well, if a Moby is someone who spent a lot more of his time doing and a lot less talking, then yes, Steve, I am a Moby. 7 years in this mans army you shit.
Maybe it is "Adam and Steve" after all.

"Right-wing authoritarians are submissive toward authority, fundamentalist in orientation, dogmatic, punitive and self-righteous, socially isolated and insular, fearful of people different from themselves, hostile to minorities, uncritical toward dominating authority figures, and prone to a constant sense of besiegement and panic."
OK, let's do a real live case study using Anon's dfinition of "ring wing authoritiarian" on a familiar subject:
1)“ submissive toward authority”
OLBERMANN: “Newsweek”‘s Richard Wolffe, providing the voice of reason tonight. And I think greatly for it, and as usual, thanks for your time, sir.
OLBERMANN: Helen Thomas, the dean of the White House press corps, great thanks for your time tonight.
OLBERMANN: And it‘s clearly for the public benefit, we thank you for it. . . David Brock of that organization. Great thanks.
And that’s just one show! (March 23)
“fundamentalist in orientation”
On C-SPAN’s Sunday night (March 12) Brian Lamb interview show "Q & A," MSNBC "Countdown" host Keith Olbermann lit into Fox News Channel in an extended rant, suggesting that its demise was the "best hope of mankind."
“punitive and self-righteous”
“There is a whole army of bloggers, radio hosts and TV people who have decided that any deviation from their political view is to be persecuted - and the "Olbermann Watch" and [Brent] Bozell jokers [of Media Research Center and Parents Television Council] are foremost among them.”
That’s right folks–persecuted. Self righteous enough for ya? And you want punitive? Here is Olbermann answering his critics’ e-mails (or “confronting hate” according to Orange Boy):
"Given how far you are from knowing your ass from your elbow about my industry, you couldn't be stupider, wronger, or dumber ..."
"Go f*ck your mother."
"You 'Americans' still watching that evil f*cking O'Reilly?"
And Orange Boy writing to a fan from his MSNBC E-mail account:
“Rita’s [Cosby] nice, but dumber than a suitcase of rocks”
“socially isolated and insular”
Snow said that he knows Olbermann from the days when he worked at Fox and that he thinks that he's a talented broadcaster. But he added: "You could have fit Keith's friends into a phone booth."
LAMB: We know a lot about you, but we don’t know anything about your personal life. I’m not sure you want us to know that. Are you married?
OLBERMANN: I’m single. I am a 47-year-old bachelor.
”fearful of people different from themselves”
“Part of my deal with the network is that I don't have to have debates. . . .Having both sides politically debating a point adds nothing to the political discourse; plus, it makes me queasy”
“uncritical toward dominating authority figures”
See No. 1 above
“prone to a constant sense of besiegement and panic”
Olbermann told Kurtz he had no problem with the story, but then said there was one thing he didn't like: the conservative Olbermann critic in the piece, Robert Cox and crew at Olbermann Watch, which he protested is "a site created to mock me." (And Olbermann is a stranger to mockery?) He claimed that when a commenter went after Cox, Cox put up "information of a personal nature" up against him, so "he's not a reliable observer of my work."
Then he went into a lecture about how supinely pro-Bush the press has been over the last five years, succumbing to feelings of "patriotic obligation." The press has "stifled itself," and "we do feel we have been taken advantage of" -- he wouldn't call it a "muzzling," merely "self-editing." He lamented how the media had to "get into the ring with power with one hand tied behind our backs."
And somehow I am the "Moby," whatever the fuck that is?
No thanks, I'll pass.
SMG
No thanks, I'll pass.
No "Steve." You do not pass. You try to pass. You wish you could pass. But you've been outed and now people see you for what you are. A weak, impotent little flamer. Go bugger the Oberdouche you so ardently "hate."

MSNBC is owning the news of an arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey murder case. The cable net broke the news at 3:46pm. Alison Stewart anchored till 4 when she tossed to Monica Crowley (in for Tucker Carlson). Dan Abrams and Susan Filan handled analysis. "It was a story that dominated cable news and has remained a mystery for years," Stewart said.
CNN first reported the news at 4:17pm, half an hour after MSNBC. The cable net first credited NBC on the chyron, then changed it to KUSA, the NBC affiliate in Denver.
Fox News Channel finally ran an alert at 4:41pm, almost an hour after MSNBC had the news...
“socially isolated and insular”
Snow said that he knows Olberdeusche from the days when he worked at Fox and that he thinks that he's a "talented broadcaster." But he added: "You could have fit Keith's "friends" into a phone booth." HAHAAHAHAHA. Oberdouche does his "friends" in a phone booth. Tony Sow fucked him in the ass on that one!!!!!!!!!
LAMB: We know a lot about you, but we don’t know anything about your personal life. I’m not sure you want us to know that. Are you married?
OLBERMANN: I’m single. I am a 47-year-old bachelor.
RING a bell steve? Ding Dong. Opps I said dong, Steve is salivating.
”fearful of people different from themselves”
Like everyone else on the planet who isn't a gaywad.
“Part of my deal with the network is that I don't have to have debates. . . .Having both sides politically debating a point adds nothing to the political discourse; plus, it makes me queasy”
“uncritical toward dominating authority figures”
Oooo domination too. Gay S&M, right Steve?
See No. 1 above
“prone to a constant sense of besiegement and panic”
Olbermann said to Kurtz he had no problem with the story, but then said there was one big fucking thing he didn't like: the conservative Olbermann critic in the piece, Robert Cocks and crew at Olbermann Watch, which he whined like a little shit is "a site created to mock me." (And Olbermann is a stranger to buggery?) He claimed that when a commenter went after Cocks, Cocks put up "information of a personal nature" up against him, so "he's not a reliable observer of my work or my wang."
Then he went into a ridiculous commie lecture about how supinely pro-Bush the liberal press has been over the last five years, succumbing to feelings of "patriotic pussymouth." The press has "stifled itself," and "we do feel we have been taken advantage of" -- he wouldn't call it a "muzzling," only could say "cock eating." He screeched about how the liberal media had to "get into the ring with power with one hand tied behind its backs."
"fox news = little birches ":
ANd how will that help Olby draw more than the inmates at the nuthouse to his show?
We now know that from the very beginning, the Bush administration and its allies in Congress saw the terrorist threat not as a problem to be solved, but as a political opportunity to be exploited. The story of the latest PR-rushed terror arrests in Britain makes the administration's fecklessness and cynicism on terrorism clearer than ever.
Fecklessness: the administration has always pinched pennies when it comes to actually defending America against terrorist attacks. Now we learn that terrorism experts have known about the threat of liquid explosives for years, but that the Bush administration did nothing about that threat until now, and tried to divert funds from programs that might have helped protect us. Cynicism: Republicans have consistently portrayed their opponents as weak on terrorism, if not actually in sympathy with the terrorists. Now we have Dick Cheney suggesting that voters in the Democratic primary in Connecticut were lending aid and comfort to "Al Qaeda types." There they go again.
Above all, many Americans now understand the extent to which Mr. Bush abused the trust the nation placed in him after 9/11. Americans no longer believe that he is someone who will keep them safe, as many did even in 2004; the pathetic response to Hurricane Katrina and the disaster in Iraq have seen to that. All Mr. Bush and his party can do at this point is demonize their opposition. And my guess is that the public won't go for it, that Americans are fed up with leadership that has nothing to hope for but fear itself.
this just comes to the truth hahaha
you suck ass cheeks and it aint just about olbermann, the network he is from bear fox by atleast a half an hour
STUPID FUCKS
I'm not going to dignify that with a response. Play liberal mad-libs with my posts all you want, you only put your own stupidity on display for the whole giant world to see.
What a loser you are. You have nothing better to do than mindlessly vulgarize my own hard work exposing Olberman's shameless liberal antics?
Sad. Truly sad.
O'Reilly's DEMO numbers in his 11:00 reruns continues to beat Olby's primetime Overall Numbers. Wow!!
haha fox news beat
lololol
That last post was not me. This is getting ridiculous.
and confusing
And a waste of time
people are using my name
i want to admit right now
this is me and iam fingerin my hairy bum crack
casue i hate Keith olbermann for stupid reasons
You people really need to get a job and a life. Such hatred you spew.
How does it feel knowing that the 'news' you're watching on Faux, is mostly manufactured and not real? It's like watching an info-mercial 24 hours a day.
Last night Olby whined that his fantasy sports obsession veered toward the "tertiary stage of syphilis". Where did he pull that up from? Maybe from exerience?
Nice dose of penicilin probably stopped further destruction, but damage was obviously done.
Can someone please do some digging and find out if Brian Stelter of TVNewser already has a job lined up with MSNBC after he graduates from lowly Townson State? He is slobbering all over MSNBC's coverage again today, claiming they "own" the all-important, life-depending JonBenet Ramsey story.
I would be willing to bet that he has some type of side deal with MSNBC, if anyone wants to look into it, you'd be doing a lot of people who hate the kid's biased website a great service.
Why should he cover it? FOX News hasn't covered it since Monday either, and the victims work for that company.
And Johnny, stop slumming with Palpatine. It makes you look like a feeb...
"FOX News hasn't covered it since Monday either"
I am sorry but you are very mistaken. Fox covered it Monday. And Tuesday. And today. CNN and MSNBC have covered it. Only Olbermann has decided to spike the story. Why?
"Ratings that's all O'Leilly can claim.

Ya gotta love the left wing loons fear of free speech !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fox news is baaahhhhdddd the sheep told me so. How original. Pretty weak to attack the messenger. What part of free speech don't you like? Any that isnt anti-Bush enough, gives both sides a chance to be heard and helps get the TRUTH OUT TO THE MASSES. Loved the anti south redneck humor. But you don't know JACK about the places decent folk live. You like NY, LA, NO, DET, etc. Yep thats America. LOL. Not Alabama, Tenn, etc. Well your entitled to your opinion. But the racists from the south are all Democrats. Examples Al Gore Sr. and William Fullbright (Clintons mentor) hard core segregationists. Ray Nagin lets keep New Orleans chocolate. HEHE. Robert Byrd (KKK-DEM) West Virginia. Nice southern strategy for Dems, offend every decent God fearing, flag waving, Southerner. Better rethink that with white flight to the south and reproduction instead of abortion the south just keeps growing. While socialist HELL HOLES like New York and New Jersey keep shrinking. Already without California...just 1 state...and no more Dem Presidents ever........Bye Bye........
I think Robert is letting the inmates run the prison.......anyway sorry for no post today...I'm sure anonymous(the one that calls me busypussy) missed me....but he surely did display his ignorance today far exceeding my expectations...you have to hand to him,he is consistent.....I mean you always know what you get with him and cetainly nothing more......he defines the word dumbass....anyone will be back tomorrow with another edition of misinformation lane......I'm sure you all missed it...I actually was realaxing at Medinah today.....so see you soon.
Ohio Mike: Your challenge is strange. Who cares about either of those situations? Byrd is a fruit. Olbermann shouldn't have done what he did. That doesn't mean the following won't be the case:
Liberals looking for substantive criticism (me) will not take this site very seriously while it does the very things it complains Olbermann does. Your argument is akin to the following sentence:
"Ohio Mike, I told you not to @#$ing swear."
....
Mike's silly challenge: If I were to lampoon former KKK member and WV Senator Robert Byrd with a white hood and burning cross, would that be any more morally objectionable than firing off the Nazi salute as Olbermann did when he was lampooning O'Reilly? Please offer coherent reasoning for your answer.
Mushywushy, your incoherence is only matched by inanity.
I am sorry but you are very mistaken.
No, Johnny. YOU are mistaken.

In an e-mail to the newsroom, John Moody, senior vice president for news editorial, confirmed the kidnapping.
"The rumors are true: two of our employees have been abducted in Gaza," he wrote. "We will report this fact via our Israel correspondents. Do NOT do any other segments on it. Do not book guests on this topic. Do not comment officially and of course, not on the air, about it. DO pray for their release. I will keep you posted."
CNN can do what it wants, and so can MSNBC. The fact that you want MSNBC to use a segment to report on something that FOX segment hosts have been BARRED from doing by management makes no sense.
Anonymous, you live up to your name. First you say "Fox News hasn't covered it since Monday". Then as your proof you cite a memo that says it will be covered "via our Israel correspondents".
Earth to anonymous: when the Israel correspondents cover it, THAT'S COVERAGE. You said it hadn't been covered since Monday. WRONG!
Then you say "Fox segment hosts have been BARRED". More ignorance. Shepard Smith reported on it TUESDAY. It was covered repeatedly on Wednesday on one program after another.
You are either grossly ignorant, too dense to understand that a Monday memo is not proof of what was covered on Tuesday or Wednesday, or you are wilfully trying to deceive the clear-thinking readers of Olbermann Watch, who come here for the truth, not spin. Whichever it may be, you are wrong.

To you honestly beleive your own shit? I mean do you not even see your double standard? i think the only possible concluson is you are a fucking idiot.
Anonymous writes, in response to my Orange Boy Challenge:
"Olbermann shouldn't have done what he did."
A good start Anonymous (BTW, the Orange Boy challenge was issued by me (Hank),not Ohio Mike).
However, your nonchalant comment regarding my challenge ("silly" challenge; "who cares?") shows that, in typical clueless liberal fashion, you don't understand the significance of this little excercise, so let me help you out.
I included the Robert Byrd hypothetical as a way to put Orange Boy's Nazi salute to O'Reilly in context. If someone like O'Reilly, Hannity, "Twinkletoes" Carlson, or any of Orange Boy's other competitiors had engaged in the conduct I described in the Robert Byrd hypothethical (lampooned him with a white hood or a burning cross), you and all the other Olby loving Fox haters on this site would IMMEDIATELY (and justifiably) jump up in outrage and shout to the mountains how insensitive these acts are, how it shows lack of caring for the symbolism of such gestures to minorities, how that person needs to have sensitivity training and suspended from the network or fired outright and most important, needs to be made to to apologize over and over again to show proper contrition.
Now to the Olby Nazi salute. The most impoprtant part of the challenge (which you didn't respond to) was to explain whether the Orange Boy Nazi salute to O'Reilly would that be any less morally objectionable than the hypothetical lampooning of Senator Byrd with a burning cross and white hood and to offer coherent reasoning for your answer. The answer, of course, is there is NO DIFFERENCE in terms of moral repulsiveness between Orange Boy's Nazi salute and the Robert Byrd example. Yet, one act (the hypothetical lampooning of Byrd by O'Reilly, Hannity or Carlson) would be met with howls of protest and outraged calls for resignations while an equivalent act by your Orange Hero barely registers a blip on the radar screen.
