And now let's move on to some of the best and worst moments of the recently concluded Television Critics Association press tour...
Best Gag: Keith Olbermann of MSNBC's "Countdown" arrived with a photographic cutout of his whipping boy, Fox's Bill O'Reilly, and superimposed it on his face.

NOTE: meanwhile the Kansas City Star, Media Research Center, Variety and the Orlando Sentinel have all weighed in on the Ailes "walkout" at the TCA. Dog not barking - if it's no big deal why do so many TV critics feel the need to devote column space denying they dissed Roger Ailes?

Olbermann made a comment on today's Dan Patrick radio show about "O'Reilly going after me again" and that, implicitly, he was going to have a response.

My guess is that KO was referring to the colloquy between BO and Rivera where O'Reilly talked about the mudslingers at MSNBC (my word not his).

So, here we go again. Why O'Reilly takes the bait mystifies me.

Why Olbermann sets the bait doesn't.

Could it be a little paranoia on KO's part? His name wasn't mentioned, and Scarborough has been at least as egregious, if not more.

Will be interesting to see what words KO puts in BillO's mouth.
