And so ends the Peacock network's decade long struggle to create a separate identity for its oft-malligned cable news offspring:
Olby made fun of this on his show. Where's the kudos and amens for Olby?
salutations for the lord high Olby for showing just how inconsequential and insignificant his host channel is. But hey they have HIM on for an hour every night. I guess the ran out of "doc-block" features and thought his PCP laced hour of fun and games might be great in the race for the bottom of the ratings.
Will the lord high Olby be doing his show in his Ostritch suit tonight? Maybe Musto can loan him a feather boa or something that fits in with the network theme. Low speed ostritch chases are much more entertaining that most of the crap MSNBC has on anyway.
Everyone: this may be a dire moment for Keith Olbermann. He has finished 4th place, dead last, in both total viewers and Brian Stelter of "demo," for this entire week!
Of course, TVNewser and other Olbermann lovers won't look at the simple truth: Keith's 9/11 rant further damaged him in the eyes of the viewing public. He had unprecedented (by MSNBC standards) exposure after that partisan attack on YouTube, Daily Kos, TVN, etc. And his ratings have sharply dropped since.
If you look at Wednesday's numbers, he's also the 4th place MSNBC show. So the "well he's first on the network" excuse isn't working either.
Someone needs to bring this to the public's attention. It certainly won't be anyone from the press that's tried so desperately to promote him, or from liberal kiss-up MSNBC PR blogs like Brian Stelter's.
