But in casting your votes, I hope you all will consider that Robert Cox has spent many thousands of words responding to my posts, and I have drawn a great deal of invective from him without using much or any myself. O'liely only draws responses by being vulgar and calling you all hillbillies, which I find tasteless. At least two of you clearly have good educations, and in any event, flowers must bloom where they are planted.

Think carefully, your choice in this hallowed contest will shape the future of smurfd...er...I mean OlberLoondom. If elected, I promise to continue a throroughgoing campaign to discuss issues sensibly, while leaving you plenty of room to find little alleys you can go down to call me a leftist extremist, communist, or terrorist sympathizer.

According to Spud's posting at ICN, Tuesday's ratings were (in (000)):

Beck: 7 p.m. 367; 9 p.m. 425; Total prime time 792

Nancy G: 8 p.m. 770; 10 p.m. 444; Total prime time 1214

So Beck and Nancy G. are beating the pants off of many competitors, but the fact that the ratings for only one of their showings is reported actually undercounts their viewers.

I think it's important both to support yourself and to have at least enough cullinary talent to get yourself through life without resorting to McDonalds. In fact, I have suspicions that some of the strange opinions exibited on this site are probably due to poor diet and lack of exercise and fresh air. If elected, I will pass on my most prized plate -- ancho pepper pan-smoked salmon, edemame with a faintly sweet garlic-mirin dressing, and wild rice. It's easy enough to make that you can do it while watching olbermann, although you will have to free at least one of your hands from pulling your hair out or whatever else you guys do while watching him.

Oh and Hank, don't forget anonymous's lifting of text from some other, unnamed, source, probably unnamed because naming it would expose it as something about at the credibility level of truthout. First of all, let's all give credit to those two for defending our (and their) president. My thought is, this presents a dilemma for the piece of shit we dedicate this site to...does he praise the two Democrats that displayed support for "Mister Bush" (which might give the party some badly needed non-partisan credibility)? Thsi could be the start of a whole new language against the PCP movement. A new lexicon of words just describing the far-left looney liberals we all have come to know and loathe.
A poet and philosopher once said a long time ago that" the universe is not made up of atoms or molecules or nanospeheres or organic compounds or even plants, animals ,and rocks. The universe is made of language". How we use words to describe things becomes in the transfer of eye-mind-mouth-word equation enables those thing in our brains to actually become these things we say.
