Some shows are debate shows some shows are hardcore news shows and some shows are just plain fun to watch.

Fine, Keith doesn't want to debate. I've seen him in that format, and he's not good. He doesn't think well on his feet and doesn't do a good job of clashing with ideas.

How about interviewing people with a different opinion? Just put a contrasting opinion on the show and ask tough questions, but don't necessarily engage in a debate...you know, like a real newsman would do.

He doesn't have to adopt the O'Reilly no-holds barred, Hardball or Crossfire approaches. Olbermann could, however, actually present an opposing view and let the viewers judge for themselves.

This is one reason why Countdown is such a lousy show and has does so poorly in the rationgs. KO and his fans have become the left-wing version of ditto-heads, and they don't even know it.

TOPEKA, Kan. (Nov. 4) - An abortion doctor plans to ask for an investigation of the state attorney general and Bill O'Reilly over comments by the Fox television host that he got information from Kansas abortion records, the doctor's attorneys said Saturday.

Dr. George Tiller said he will ask the Kansas Supreme Court on Monday to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate and take possession of the records of 90 patients from two clinics.

Attorney General Phill Kline obtained the records recently after a two-year battle that prompted privacy concerns. He has said he sought the records to review them for evidence of possible crimes including rape and illegal abortions.

During a Friday night broadcast of "The O'Reilly Factor," the conservative host said a "source inside" told the show that Tiller performs late-term abortions when a patient is depressed, which O'Reilly deemed "executing babies."

O'Reilly also said his show has evidence that Tiller's clinic and another unnamed clinic have broken Kansas law by failing to report potential rapes with victims ages 10 to 15.

A spokeswoman for Kline, who received redacted copies of the records Oct. 24, said Saturday he doesn't know how O'Reilly obtained the information.

"We don't know anything about Mr. O'Reilly's inside source," spokeswoman Sherriene Jones said. "I assumed he was talking about somebody on the inside of the abortion clinics."

Kline, an abortion opponent and Republican in a tight race with Democrat Paul Morrison, was interviewed by O'Reilly during the segment.

"Our information says that on almost every medical sheet -- and obviously we have a source inside here -- it says, 'depression,"' O'Reilly told Kline during the broadcast. "I don't know whether you have that information or not -- I don't know -- but that's what it says."

Pedro Irigonegaray, who represents Tiller and the clinics, said it was "preposterous" that the information would come from an insider at one of the clinics.

"This has been our concern from the beginning, that if he ended up with these records, that just this type of event would occur. Our worst nightmare has happened," Irigonegaray said. "Women in America deserve better than this."

It wasn't clear Saturday whether O'Reilly's source had broken state or federal laws by divulging patient information or whether O'Reilly or his staff had viewed any records themselves. A request to Fox in Washington to interview O'Reilly or someone associated with his show wasn't answered Saturday.

Kline, one of the nation's foremost abortion opponents, has said the targets of his investigation are rapists, sex offenders with child victims, and doctors involved in illegal abortions. Those could include doctors performing illegal late-term abortions or those failing to report abuse of a child.

The clinics had argued that giving the attorney general access to the records would invade patients' privacy.

Shawnee County District Judge Richard Anderson subpoenaed the records at Kline's request in September 2004, concluding there was probable cause to believe they contained evidence of crimes. The documents Kline received were edited so that individual patients could not be identified.

I can think of a bunch of things they have in common. One of the main things they have in common is they appeal to the same mentality as the World Wide Wrestling Foundation. It's the good guys VS. the bad guys and the winner is the one who is the rudest and most able to talk over the other guy. Rush is popular because he appeals to the bigoted hypocrite types and he has no moral highground so it can't be anything more. Sean and O'Reily don't bring back guests that show them up. I wouldn't mind seeing a few inteligent conservatives on but if Keiths show ever turns into a WWWF show with it leaning to the left I would hate it. Why does Fox even pretend to be fair and balanced. Rush doesn't. I stopped watching them long ago. They can have their right wing space. MSNBC is slowly starting to get better and better. Scaraborough will call a spade a spade and I respect him even though he is right wing and says so. Fox is a fraud. Rush is laughable. Drudge has some of the same issues as Haggard and Foley.

I am reminded once again of something. What if Keith was found out to be an Oxycontin addict and was divorced three times and had affairs and viagra on him when stopped by the police? No one has to answer. We know what kind of stuff is already said about his choice of clothes and his tan. Go ahead on now and tune into Rush. Think up some more funny names for Keith while you read the Sludge report.

After reading the most hated man at ESPN-Olbyloon's responses to the moonbat 45 chromsome squad , I have come to an even lowwer opinion of the orange man. He's going to make his "special comments" into a book? Will it to be a mispeslled mess of olbytard smear and lies like his last disaster of a book is?
BTW--Joe Wilson just makes the case for IQ testing to be compusive at State. How is it posible that wilson--who spent a career making sure there were back up rolls of toilet paper in the visitors lounge in the embasy,and unstopping clogged johns,is now an expert on international relations ? He is the store brand soda of diplomats.

For the last time, I don't listen to Rush. Never have, never will. And despite popular belief that all GOPers get their marching orders from Faux news, I seldom watch it. I just think that Olbermann is a hack who is ill-qualified for the job he has. And I think his bias is so apparent that he does not deserve his own show given his immense biases when said show is disguised as a news show which it is not when he is doing his "special comments" every other night. If they will relabel his show as the OPINION show it is instead of trying to push it off as a news show and him off as a newsman, then I'd cease any criticisim of him. I don't buy that Keith relabeling his show as a opinion show would make you okay with him. Or if he had more qualifications to have his show you be okay with him. What bothers you is what comes out his mouth. You don't like his opinion. Fair enough. Some do.
