His interview with Mike Stark was a joke, not much of a suprise. I'm SHOCKED, that it put Stark in a good light.

If the best election coverage "anchors" NBC has are Chris Matthews and Olby, then you know why MSNBC is about to be dismantled and carted off in a moving van. That is must-miss TV for sure.

The only way I see that pairing working is if they pipe lithium into the studio and shoot the two of them with enough tranquilizers to bring down a bull elephant before the broadcast.

Chris Matthews is hyper to begin with and won't let anyone else get a word in edgewise. Olby's head could explode from a manic episode. It's a train wreck in the making.

Maybe we could set up a betting pool and guess whose head explodes first and when?

I'll take Olby, because being at work for that many hours in a row probably will make him snap.

Sounds like no one likes Chris or Olby. I bet they would rather have Rush and Bill O riley.

MSNBC has other talent that would do well or they could borrow some from NBC.

Obvisouly, Chris Matthews is the perfect person to anchor the coverage. He knows politics from inside out, and he is more neutral that the others at MSNBC. Keith is not a journalist and I don't think he is qualified to do the job. You have to be neutral sitting in that chair. I like Chris more than Keith.

I like Chris too but you have to be a real lefty to think that Matthews is NEUTRAL. He is a lifelong Democrat who worked for one of the most liberal speakers ever (Tip O'Neill) from the most liberal state in the union (Massachussetts) and worked for one of the most liberal Presidents ever (Jimmy Carter). How exactly is Chris "neutral" or even "more neutral"? Maybe you meant to say "less overtly partisan than Keith Olbermann"?

I am not a lefty. I am a liberal conservative, a republican. I perfer Chris to Keith. For instance, he said in his show Kerry will never be President for he said something like this about the troops. I don't think he is as left as Keith, Chris likes Senator McCaain, Bob Dole, the whole family, and Allen in Virginia, his first name just slips out of my mind. I don't think he wants Hillary to be elected as our next President, neither does Keith. So do all these enough to support me that he is more neutral than Keith. Tucker and Scarborough are conservatives as my understanding, I don't watch their shows oftern. At least I will hear something neutral in their show. I watch Chris show every night but not Countdown, which I used to. I am tired of listening him bashing someone especially our Presient every night. Can he say somehting neutral, which he used to. Keith once said long time ago he tried to be neutral, but not any more. I don't meed him to tell me what to think about our Prsident.
