Sounds like copyright law is being used more to protect the liberal-left media (and their agenda), more than a case of so-called "intellectual property" (and the fact that mere things, objects, possessions, are accorded more rights than people is in an of itself a sign of the usurpation of freedom in the U.S.A.). The "Old Media" (of which Olber-the-hill's employer, Ms. Nibbik, is a part, via NBC) is pushing to have all news broadcasts put under the "broadcast flag" umbrella - so that they could put their spin on without anyone calling for it - because without audio/visual proof of their bias, the media would be free and clear again, to our dis-benefit.
Hitchens is a chronic alcoholic who even drunk off his ass can whip Matthews pathetic butt. And Matthews is the smart one at MSNBC. Can you imagine what the train wreck would look like if he did in fact appear on Olby's show? It'll never happen though: KO never has anyone on who disagrees with him unless he's ambused like he was the other night by Ricks. That was priceless by the way. Too funny for words actually.
Well from what I learned here a few weeks ago..was that KO did have to deal with Hitch once and couldn't handle it..which is one of the reasons KO won't have opposing views on his show.
Was Hitchens drunk ?

More than likely..but a drunk Hitch is more than a match for Chrissy or KO..in fact I don't think the MSM could handle a sober Hitch he would really blow them away.
On Dan Patrick's ESPNradio show this afternoon, my hero Dan was pushing KO about should sportscasters admit to their bias so you can take it into account when reading/hearing/watching them. THEN he turned it around and asked the same thing of political reporters...KO took that opportunity to say that we all know where everyone at Fox stands but Dan asked doesn't CNN lean democrat? Then Dan asked keith how people over at NBC stand...KO brought up briefly Brian Williams stunt from the other night...but Dan asked about
Russert-ko: a journalist, straight down the middle
Matthews-he does a good job of arguing both sides, he gets ripped by R's for being too liberal and HE GETS RIPPED BY D'S SAYING HE IS TOO CONSERVATIVE (I am not joking folks)
Finally Dan asked him about himself and ko went all into how he does not vote so that way it would not be an issue of his pressing an agenda for anyone (SERIOUSLY HE THINKS HE IS AN OBJECTIVE NEWSCASTER-neither one of those last two words actually apply to him)...Dan kept pushing him on it though...I think it was like he was teasing KO trying to get him to admit his true beliefs which are obvious even to our liberal posters hear who refer to him as a pundit for the D's
I was 15 minutes late getting back to work for listening, but I could not turn it off!

My apologies - should be " . . . so they could once again put their spin on without anyone calling them on it."
I would pay to see Hitch take on KO...if Abrams wants ratings he should force the coward KO to do it.

What would Olby have done? Stammer like a fool, probably.

Hitchen vs Olby! I have to think about that one. Even when I disagree with Hitchen I have a lot of work to refute him.
Poor Olby. That would be like watching the nursing lamb slaughtered for your rare rack of lamb dinner that night.
I'm hungry.
