The News Watch panel, showing a level of integrity unknown to the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann, revisited the distinguished journalism award they gave to KO [QuickTime video clip]:
Yep,, the only show on Faux that does not make me laugh is News Watch,, glad that Gabler is back, Hennican is too moderate.
O'lielly the dope headed fag wigger speaks his little mind and who the f--- cares? Nobody wants to hear your stupid opinions O'lielly. Go back to your crayons a--hole or go see if you can get and audience with olbermann to worship at the feet of the king of the liberal a--holes.
I'll start trusting Olby when he gives himself the "Worst Person in the World" award for exhibiting perpetual journalistic incompetence.
Anon... er rivermutt... never been called any of those words before. Are you trying to be original ?
Can't you just allow your family to fulfill their families dreams ? I mean if you kill yourself there is that 5K insurance policy You are not much of a provider are you ?
I don't know who this rivermutt is you little turd . I am only referencing you posts in the last week or so. You sound like some little wigger wannbe monkey dope head with your wanting to send some other dope head monkeys to do harm to O'reilly. Why the people who run this site allow you to post your stupid juvenile liberal trah is beyond me. This site like the world would be better off without you. Why don't you go to McDonalds and try bobbing for french fries or at least go out and play in traffic you little retarded shit.
but I know that you being a true liberal a--hole will keep up displaying to the world what a true olbermann supporter you are and as thus a total a--hole. keep it up scumbag and see where it takes you.
wow.. you responded to my post in less than 20 minutes,, it is a nice day,, go outside get some sun.
You guys are hilarious.
This O'lielly goofball needs to be banned.
A Rayan,, really why ?
A Rayan,,, you see the reason that some of us visit this website is because they can read diverse opinions and not get bombarded with personal insults, however this new anon guy is a poster named riverdog that has been booted previously and apparently dumped his IP address to get a new one. Where did you see me starting an argument ?
Ellis Hennigan, He's at least one lib unlike Neil(I'm hiding in France) Gabler. Or our Hero duck and hide Keith. That will go on shows to defend liberals. You can't do that Ellis! You have to shout from a far, Then go hide under you're desk. Or in you're bathtub.
You see Ellis you're problem is, even though us free thinking people might not agree with you we think you're okay. That doesn't go well with the far left, fallin' off the table, kool-aid drinking zombie loons.
I still think the folks at newswatch misspelled Dopey's name on purpose.
Annon/riverdog???? Is O'not now trying to play Ace Ventura?
Well ALLLLLLLRIGHTY THEN!!!!!
This O'lielly goofball needs to be banned.
******************************************
I disagree..having him/her/it here proves a point..on Olbermann Watch all views are expressed while on Countdown with KO only one side is giving voice while others are banned.
Not exactly; Riverdog is a....well...let's just say he's...unhinged.
You can take all the time you like hearing him out, but a little advance warning - he's a looooooon.
Equal time for the seriously emotionally disturbed; I'm thinking that's not such a great idea.
Hearing that he's been kicked and banned and still found another ip to post with makes me think of how I'd react to a dinner guest that got drunk, assulted another guest, got thrown out of the house, and still kept trying to come back in.
unhinged you say? Poor f---ing O'lielly he just adds to the diversity of the conversation . I recall this O'lielly dope head in past posts has threatened riverdog's family with physical harm, threatened to rape his daughters yet you liberal cocksuckers defend him and call the Dog "unhinged"? Liberal support for diversity of opinion only extends to however mean, threatening and downright nasty the liberals want it to be . Then when somebody strikes back they become the nutcase right? hypocrisy is the true trademark of the liberal.
O'lielly is an admitted dope head who likes to spout off his stupidity usually being the first in line with posting some moronic juvenile drivel such as hoping" snoop dogs " people shoot Bill Oreilly! He has glorified a movie showing the assasination of the president. yet that is tolerated with no whimper or whine from the illuminated- progressive left wingnuts. I guess anything goes when it comes to the right wingers right you liberal morons?
Read back all you enlightend "progressive liberals at some of O'leilly's posts and educate yourselves on the slimeball you are defending. I guess it's OK for a liberal to threaten somebody's daughters if they are liberal right?? I guess if you are a liberal you can say any damn think you want. Just like the f---ing major hypocrite olbermann who can rant a rave and spittle forth stupidly against Gingrich for supposedly attacking the first ammendment all the while himself procaliming himself as "politically correct". Politicall correctness is a million times more a threat to our free society than any restrictions suggested by Gingrich to thwart terrorism. Yet the libs fawn and grovel over olbermann's "bravery" in defending the first ammendment. Liberals hypocrisy and utter blindness knows no bounds.
maybe you are right about letting this O'lielly a--hole continue posting. it just proves what blind, hypocritical, a--holes liberals and olbermann suporters are.
broadsword would you little dinner party allow you to invite a guest into your home only to have his family threatend and himself attacked by another dinner guest? let's just say by some other guest who calls himself O'lielly.
well who would you throw out?
Read a column about Olby's "soaring ratings" this weekend. Doesn't anyone do their homework? He had one good month mainly due to over-the-top, unhinged (not O'Leilly unhinged to the point of threatening rape, but the more common definition) rants about Bush and Habius Corpus. Otherwise, it's back to 3rd place and below ratings for Olbermann after the elections, and it appears the Special Comments (See: beating a dead horse in a grossly contrived fashion) doesn't provide the ratings bump of, say, Alison Stewart guest hosting for an evening.
And finishing 3rd is no great feat either...considering that CNBC runs repeats of game shows and Headline News barely gets a blip in the ratings during any other time of the day.
Will there be any news stories about Olbermann's ratings still being 1/4 of O'Reilly's? That, my friends, is the essence of a rhetorical question.
A better question is: will you people ever look at how you spend your free time and realize how sad you are?
I'm guessing no.
A better question is: will you people ever look at how you spend your free time and realize how sad you are?
I'm guessing no.
O'Reilley and Olbermann are basically the same person. One is a right winged crazy. One is a left winged crazy. You just have to choose who you like better. Or if you're me and simply enjoy madness on cable news, you watch both!
I think if O'Reilly was "right-winged crazy", he wouldn't have as many viewers as he does. I tend to think he's more toward the middle than Olbermann, who is out on the DailyKos angry, extremist left. Plus, O'reilly actually has guests on his show that disagree with him. Olbermann hasn't done that since he interviewed Pete Rose on ESPN ten years ago.
John Duffy: If you're on here posting as well, does that make you equally as sad? It takes me 15 seconds to write two posts a day, so feel free to debate the facts, but leave the personal insults at home...if you even own one.
Radar on line has an interview with Olby this morning. In it, he takes slams at Dan Abrams and says that Abrams only runs the daytime portions of MSNBC and has nothing to do with his show. Way to win friends at the network during contract negotiion times huh Olby?
He also doesn't deny the Karmabites blog, instead, he seems to admit to it but is pissed that the woman in question has never been named publicly, which in his mind, makes the story "journalistically invalid" so therefore, everyone should just ignore it.
I cannot believe it, Dan Abrams speaks for him and his show, and now KO said he has nothing to do with this show. I don’t think I want to be near him within a 100 feet.
He admitted Karmabites and then told us to ignore it. What a guy. I am sorry I am not his lady fans nor one of his ex-girlfriends/bedmates. I don’t need him to tell me what to do. She had 18 months of email relationship with him, and this is the point. I think she deserves to be treated better. What a coward and irresponsible person he is. He said he has been dating more than 30 years, can he count and does he remember all, how many women he has ever slept with, not to count those just-one-night-stand? He had better get a thorough medical checkup.
Wake up, all the ladies who “in love “ with him.
He is a womanizer, a hypocrite and a dirty old man.
I read the Radar Online piece. Got a kick out of this: "We asked him about his methods, his surging popularity, and his ongoing struggles with demagoguery".
Ongoing struggles with demagoguery? What struggles? He gave in to demagoguery a long time ago.
HADLEY: IRAQ NOT FAILURE, MEMO NOT ACTIONABLE, BUSHCO NOT CLUELESS
-- Nation Security Advisor's Nose Visibly Grows During Sunday Talk Show Circuit --
WASHINGTON -- With Dick Cheney's credibility and approval numbers even lower than George W. Bush's, NSA Chief Stephen Hadley appeared on no less than three political talk shows Sunday and succeeded Vice President Cheney in becoming the Bush Administration's most visible serial liar regarding the worsening civil war in Iraq. Appearing on "This Week", "Meet the Press", and "Face the Nation", Hadley lied that Donald Rumsfeld's classified memo regarding U.S. tactics in Iraq -- which called for a "major adjustment", was not a call for major adjustment. When asked why the Bush administration continues to lie that al-Qaeda is the chief agent of insurrection in Iraq -- when U.S. military assessments show it to comprise only 2-3 percent of the insurgency -- Hadley lied, "Because it's true."
Keith's a fraud, a liar, and no gentleman. He continues to insult Co-workers, and in this case, specifically, MSNBC management. Dan Abrams has had nothing but nice things to say about him and OLbermann in this interview says that Abrams has no role at the network, at least not where he is concerned. Gracious aren't you there Olby? Furthermore, he admits to the Karma business being "legally true" but says that because she's never been named in public, it's not a "valid" story. Unlike when he quotes gossip bits on his own show in the Keepign Tabs segments I guess. What a complete and utter a--hole/tool he truly is in every aspect of his life: professionally and personally.
And notice, once again, HE compares himself to Murrow. Nice try KO. Too bad those of us with half a brain know you're NO Edard R. Murrow nor will you ever be.
He is not a journalist, he ia a hypocrite, how dares he can compare himself with Edward Murrow. Keith is a clown and a dirty old man who loves young women.
Well I can't fault him for loving young women. I just fault him for the way he apparently treats the women he's involved with, which is anything but nice. Sort of like the way he insults his fellow co-workers (here, Abrams) all the time. He's just not a nice guy.
"John Duffy: If you're on here posting as well, does that make you equally as sad? It takes me 15 seconds to write two posts a day, so feel free to debate the facts, but leave the personal insults at home...if you even own one."
hahaha. Well, I suppose you are right that me typing here with people like you makes me sad, but I gotta say, I find it hilarious how you blatantly contridict yourself while trying to write me off as a hypocrit. In one sentence you tell me to leave the personal insults at home, then immediately add "if you even own one" (kinda sounds like a personal insult to me). Then you go on to say that O'Reilly isn't a right winged-crazy, but Olbermann is a left-winged crazy, when they are both obviously crazy extremists (maybe that's too strong a word, but they are both pretty far out there). And your reason for feeling this way? The old "O'Reilly's ratings are better so HA!" excuse. My how childish some people are. Having better ratings does not make a person more or less right. Look at it in perspective, Fox News is by the far the number one news network, O'Reilly is their number one guy, so obviously he will have the biggest ratings of all. Olbermann is MSNBC's number one guy, but since he's on the lowest rated of the three main news channels by far than of course his ratings will be much lower than O'Reilly's. People just don't watch the channel, so many people don't know about Olbermann, much more people are watching Fox. But people like yourself who are willing to blindly follow anyone who shares their ideology (this goes for people on the right and the left) refuse to look at the facts, and would rather spend their time on the internet throwing insults at a person on t.v. whose life is much more successful than their own, simply because he doesn't think like they do.
Also while we're discussing hypocricy, anyone notice how when the original video of the folks at Fox News Watch giving Olbermann the Turkey Award was posted here the website operator who posted the video apparently thought it was brilliant that they mispelled Olbermann's name, and now with this video he (she?) applauds them for having the "integrity" to go back and fix said spelling error? Really, you people are too much.
And no, I'm not a "left wing-crazy" Olbermann fan, I think he and O'Reilly are equally responsible for helping destroy respectibility in the world of t.v. news.

p.s. sorry for posting each of my messages twice. I have no idea why that keeps happening.
KO has occasionally given himself or his show a "Worst Person in the World" award when he's made an error on a previous program.
Check the item that Johnny Dollar uncovered on last Friday's show, a whopper told by Olby, repeated from a Media Matters post that was, quite simply, wrong on all levels. Will Olby apologize? Will Media Matters admit their mistake?
I also notice that TVNewser hasn't linked to the Radar article yet. That boy has quite the knack for overlooking anything that isn't 1000% complimentary to MSNBC and his best-buddy Olby doesn't he?
Interesting, did he ever give the award to someone who actually IS the worst person in the world, like Kim Jung Il or Ahmaneedajihad?
I'm sure at some point he probably has named someone WPITW who really deserved it but no one springs to mind off the top of my head at the moment. It's usually always reserved for a liberal.
I'm sure at some point he probably has named someone WPITW who really deserved it but no one springs to mind off the top of my head at the moment. It's usually always reserved for a conservative.
Yes, I wrote liberal, meant conservative. What I meant to say that KO reserves his WPITW spots for people he disagrees with, competitors or conservatives, usually stolen straight off of one of the liberal websites.
Hey... I like Ellis... I may not often agree with him... but he makes a thoughtful arguments, and does so with a respect... unlike Gabler, who just babbles and hopes one of the other guests doesn't haul off and hit him.
Plus Ellis was the voice of Stormy on Cartoon Network's "SeaLab 2021"... great show... great character... great voicing job by Ellis.
I don't blindly follow anyone, John Duffy...I watch O'Reilly because the debate on certain topics provide both perspectives on controversial issues. Olbermann is a one-way street, and to present Countdown as a "news" program is laughable.
Unlike Olbermann, O'Reilly does publicly disagree with the GOP on more than a few issues, particularly spending and immigration. If you can name one time Olbermann has agreed with anyone about any topic on the other side of the aisle, feel free to share.
But I loved your 4000 word diatribe. No, you don't have any free time on your hands at all.
It's sad, really, when the quality of trolls on this blog's discussion areas decline so much. It's hardly worth reading much less worthy of any response when the best they can offer is the same old ad hominem better suited for the kindegarten playground. Oh well. Mr. Cox needs an influx of better quality trolls.
color me shocked. TVN actually grew a pair of balls and is reporting that Olbermann went off on Abrams. Let's see how long it takes for a retraction to appear.
Someone wrote "Ongoing struggles with demagoguery? What struggles? He gave in to demagoguery a long time ago."
I'd like to take a moment to take credit for getting the "Keith as demagogue" meme out into Olberverse - it was in my Really Special Comment about Keith's Special Comment about 9/11 and has since ended up in several hundreds newspapers courtesy of AP, LA Times and now these numbnuts at Radar.
Keith "I answer to no one" Olbermann has had a chip on his shoulder since Dan Abrams was promoted and became his boss. He could never accept that. Perhaps MSNBC will knock that chip off his shoulder by not renewing the ingrate's contract. They are in the midst of budget cuts and if they cut this buffoon loose, I'm sure they could keep a lot of other folks who seem to appreciate their job situations.
"I don't blindly follow anyone, John Duffy...I watch O'Reilly because the debate on certain topics provide both perspectives on controversial issues. Olbermann is a one-way street, and to present Countdown as a "news" program is laughable."
Uhh.. I never said everyone who watches O'Reilly is blindly following him, I said people who take his word as gospel and Olbermann's word as venom simply because they lean to the right do. Yes O'Reilly does occasionaly have someone with a differing view on his show, but to imply that he gives an equal look at both perspectives is ridiculous.
I also never tried to present Countdown as a news program. In fact I said Olbermann is partly responsible for t.v. news losing credibility. Please read before responding.
"Unlike Olbermann, O'Reilly does publicly disagree with the GOP on more than a few issues, particularly spending and immigration."
I never said O'Reilly NEVER disagrees with the GOP. Disagreeing with Republicans is supposed to make him any less of a conservitive cheerleader or make me respect him more? I'm not really sure what your point is. I never compared O'Reily to Olbermann or said that either is more fair than the other. O'Reilly could be an inch or two closer to the center than Olbermann, so what? That doesn't make him any more respectible, he's still out to shove his own views down the throats of millions of viewers. Olbermann is equally dispicable, which is what I said, please read before responding.
"If you can name one time Olbermann has agreed with anyone about any topic on the other side of the aisle, feel free to share."
Uh, again, not a fan of Olbermann. Please read before responding.
"But I loved your 4000 word diatribe. No, you don't have any free time on your hands at all."
If you think writing two paragraphs takes a lot of free time or amounts to anywhere near 4000 words, well, you're dumb:) Your post did a splendid job of demonstrating what I meant when I said most of the posters on these boards are childish though, so thanks for that. I'm glad you enjoyed my post, and if you get the urge to write back, may I suggest reading before responding?
