If he predicts KO won't cover a story, and he doesn't...Johhny 'wins' because he was 'right'. However, if Olbermann runs the story against Mr. Dollar's prediction...Johnny 'wins' again because Olbermann "bows to the pressure we put on him".

KO has a habit of refusing to cover stories if 1-they make Dems look bad or 2-there's good news for Republicans so KO refusing to do the Clinton/Obama story until he can't ignore it or until he can spin it for the left is not so surprising.

If the Hillary and Obama camps decide to back of the current rhetoric, I would guess we'll see the story buried again on "Countdown" to avoid alienating any core viewers; if not, than Keith will probably continue his mild support of Hillary, betting that she'll win the nomination and the Obama folks will have to come back to her and forgive any of Olbermann's tresspasses by this time next year.

Habeas Corpus has never applied to combatants, legal or not. The only way that Habeas Corpus might not apply to US citizens, and that is a real stretch, would be for a US citizen to wage war on the US military.

You very vehemently state that you believe in the rule of law. So do I. However, that places an obligation on us that we accept all applicable laws, not just those that we find politically and emotionally acceptable.

According to the President, we are fighting a "war on terror". Terror isn't a tangible thing - it's a tactic. You cannot fight a war against a tactic anymore than you can nail Jell-O to a tree. It's fluid - it changes from moment to moment and place to place. Theoretically, it is war without end because it is IMPOSSIBLE to completely defeat terror - you can only hold it at bay.

When they can ally themselves with a nation state, they do. The access and legitimacy that a Somalia or an Afghanistan gives them is enornmous.

And if Iraq falls to them it falls to Iran. If you look at a map of the Middle East you can see the strategic value gained in addition to the legitamacy of a nation state in their control.

I am entering the end stage of my life. Whatever happens will affect me very little, if at all. However, I will leave children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many others who will face the outcome of any failures we suffer today.

You state we can only hold terror at bay. If there is no way to victory I'll take the next best thing, holding them at bay by all means necessary.

Whoever has the best chance of winning.
Any of the Democratic candidates would make a good president.

We need to increase our quoatas from Latin America, but also instead of attarcting low skill workers we should make it easier for College educated Hispanics to come here.
I have family in Argentina who would come here in a heart beat. They are English speaking professionals, but still have to wait the same amount of time as uneducated workers. That's not fair.

Jeff, Coward has been calling anyone who exposes him as a pot smoking socialist as me. All he does is make excuses for the enemy and defend Islam. He must be facing Mecka right now saying prayers to the terrorists.

For crying out loud, make up your mind! Is Coward a "pot smoking socialist", or is he a "muslem sympathyzer"? He can't be both. They execute pot smokers.

Coward reminds me of the Red Wolf, they both were converted to Islam while in jail.
