"COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN" (8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. ET)
Host: Keith Olbermann
Topics/Guests:
Why did the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann delay a story for an entire day before he reported it? That answer is coming, but first... Rev Oralmann mounted the pulpit and delivered the opening spiel: the attack on Cheney, "Blame the Media!", the military is not ready, Al Gore attacked by "right wing water carriers", fat children, Barry Bonds, and internet videos.
First up: the suicide bomb attack in Afghanistan, Bad News from Iraq, an attack on Laura Bush for criticizing the media. Dana Milbank, without weird wardrobe, talked about CYA and resurgent Talibanis. Liberal Olbermann asked "where's the credibility?" Great thanks.
Peter Pace says military readiness declined. Obligatory clips of press hectoring Snow. To discuss the "escalation" [Ding!]: Patrick Murphy (D). [Updated: The List: it's really getting ridiculous!] When was the last time somebody who supported sending reinforcements was interviewed on The Hour of Spin? Let's see, that would be...NEVER! Liberal Monkeymann demanded to know what the Congress would do "bindingly" to lose the war. Murphy said we need more troops in Afghanistan. Wait, isn't that an "escalation"? No, on OlbyPlanet it's only an escalation if it's in Iraq. Great thanks.
#4: The Taliban spring offensive, analyzed by Venzke, who is not exactly a favorite of the Kos kids. His analysis was shockingly straightforward for The Hour of Spin, so liberal KO dispensed with him in record time.
Though he hasn't reported the 31 all-time record highs the Dow has hit since October, after oddball liberal "Man on Fan" Oralmann served up this (regarding the stock market fall): "Fox Noise insisted the dropoff was because of the assassination attempt on Vice-President Cheney". Another Olbermann Lie, and we have no idea what Blue Blog was reckless enough to print this fabrication. But it was obviously a good enough "source" for liberal Olbermahn.
The next segment raised the question: why did liberal Keith wait 24 hours to report a story everyone covered yesterday? A two-part answer. A) Olbermann Watch slammed him for spiking Gore's energy usage yesterday and he was shamed into dealing with it today. B) It took 24 hours for Olby to get the spin together to blame it all on--all together now--the "right-wing!" (Blue Blog Sources: Think Progress and Media Matters). Everything reported by the Tennessee Center for Policy Research was therefore "a lie". That's called "journalism" on OlbyPlanet. Cillizza pandered. Great thanks.
#2: Fat kids (regurgitated video), Anna Nicole Smith, Barry Bonds, baseball cards; #1: Internet videos. Media Matters Minute: Ann "Coultergeist" (Blue Blog Source: Media Matters).
Quiescent canines: Not much of a surprise here. Even thought it's co-written by frequent Countdown guest Jim VandeHei, this article got spiked by the infamous, deplorable one. Meanwhile, while Monkeymann has railed loud and long against "hate speech" by the eeevil "right-wingers" and "neocons", guess whose hate speech he has been totally silent about? And c'mon, Keithy Boy--be a man. Report this.
Olbermann's book The book that bears Olberman's name sunk to #8,516 at amazon.com, while "Culture Warrior" is #317. (It's that 2-for-$25 sale!) The OlbyTome is #2,540 at Barnes & Noble; O'Reilly's book is #1,163 there, and is now in its 21st week on the New York Times bestsellers list. Even with all the hype and frenzied emails to the usual blue blog echo chamber, Monday's Countdown, with its pivot-happy Special Education Komment, lost by more than three to one to the eeevil Nazi swine O'Reilly. The Hour of Spin just barely eeked out a second place finish both in total viewers and in the critical, beloved, all-important, coveted "key demo".
Group questions level of energy use at Gore home
High electric billing records show 'green power' also was purchased
By ANNE PAINE
Staff Writer
A day after a film about his efforts to combat global warming won an Oscar, former Vice President Al Gore was called a hypocrite by a Tennessee group that said his Belle Meade home is consuming too much energy.
The home's average monthly electric bill last year was just under $1,200, according to bills that The Tennessean acquired from Nashville Electric Service.
"As the spokesman of choice for the global warming movement, Al Gore has to be willing to walk (the) walk, not just talk the talk, when it comes to home energy use," said Drew Johnson, president of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research, identified as a free-market think tank.
Gore's power bill shows, however, that the former vice president may be doing just that.
Gore purchased 108 blocks of "green power" for each of the past three months, according to a summary of the bills.
That's a total of $432 a month Gore paid extra for solar or other renewable energy sources.
The green power Gore purchased in those three months is equivalent to recycling 2.48 million aluminum cans or 286,092 pounds of newspaper, according to comparison figures on NES' Web site.
NES joined the TVA program in 2000 to give power customers a way to support environmentally sound sources of electricity. The Tennessean could not determine when Gore signed up for green power.
NES gets its electricity from TVA. Most is produced from coal, which emits carbon, a greenhouse gas. A lesser amount comes from nuclear power and a small amount from hydroelectric.
An Inconvenient Truth, the movie about Gore's global warming battle, details how greenhouse gases are trapping heat next to the earth, causing a changing climate with melting ice caps and more violent storms.
"Every family has a different carbon footprint," said Kalee Krider, a spokeswoman for Gore. The Gores' 10,000-square-foot house on Lynnwood Boulevard has a large one.
The Green Power Switch program isn't all that Gore and his wife, Tipper, are doing, Krider said.
They use compact fluorescent light bulbs and are in the midst of a renovation project that includes having solar panels installed on their home to reduce fossil fuel consumption, she said.
Their car? A Lexis hybrid SUV.
"They, of course, also do the carbon emissions offset," she said.
That means figuring out how much carbon is emitted from home power use, and vehicle and plane travel, then paying for projects that will offset that with use of renewable energy, such as solar power.
Gore helped found Generation Investment Management, through which he and others pay for offsets. The firm invests the money in solar, wind and other projects that reduce energy consumption around the globe, she said.
Johnson, whose group usually focuses on government spending issues, said he "doesn't differ much from Al Gore on his environmental concerns."
"We went into this just asking the question, 'Is the leader of the environmental movement basically living up to his word?' Given that he's a Tennessean, I thought it's a question we should ask."
What they found is someone whose home uses as much power in a month as an average family would use in a year, he said.
In addition to the electric bill, the natural gas bill for Gore's home and guesthouse ran $1,080 per month last year, Johnson said.
"For someone in his position not to take steps to reduce his own energy consumption is disingenuous," he said. "He's simply not taking all the steps he can take and should take as the leader of the environmental movement."
Rather than attacking one man — Gore — Johnson and his group should be taking a larger view and trying to make a difference to reduce global warming, Krider said.
That should include helping to get government and corporations, which are big energy users, on board to reduce energy and move to renewable resources, she said.
"They're trying to single out one person rather than look at the big picture," Krider said.
Keith arrives home after a long day of “Action Verbin “ and a nightmare commute in his Lexis , he dashes past his young wife and enters the “Special Room”. Rushing to the bed he drops to his knees and scoops under the bed for his “Special Box”. With a flash and a spark he places on his head his “hippy hair”, then wraps the PEACE NOW headband around his ears to secure the hair in place.
As the daily routine goes before he realizes he’s relaxed in the chair. The sounds of Donavon pleasing his ears and the smoke from a ‘Big Fatty” floating around fogging out a bit the “Impeach Nixon” and “Buy the World a Coke” black-lite posters.
Really folks the above story is not far from the truth. Being 46 and all I missed out on most of the peace stuff but was blessed enough to able to experience the drug part. I was a Democrat all my life and at one point in time even expressed disappoint that I wasn’t able to be a “Hippy Protester”.
But you know something strange happened on the road from Jackson Minnesota delegate to today….. I GREW-UP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .
I’m afraid there are a holeeeeeeeee bunch of wacky “adult children” who cannot bring themselves to the reality of the real world. You would have thought 911 would have opened some eyes, and some of these folks would wake-up. Just the opposite, they get to relive their youth! And instead of coming to reality they come up with 911 conspiracies and teach them to our children on our dime in our colleges.
Gee, I wonder if Big Al himself called Olby to explain the breakdown of his utility bills. Nah.
It truly is too bad that you decided to value monetary concerns over the interests of human beings, but that is just what makes one a conservative.
Speaking of liberal hypocrites, didn't Nancy Pelosi promise that congress would work 5-days a week once she took control as Speaker? Hmmm. They're still working 3 days a week (if that). And wasn't she the one who said she'd run the most ethical congress ever and then appointed William Jefferson (he of the money stuffed in his freezer) to a post as chairman of a committee which he couldn't even qualify to WORK for if he had to undergo a security check? Oh yes, that's ethical alright. And funny, didn't Olbermann promise on CBS Sunday Morning he'd be right in behind the Dems if they did these kinds of things? Keith Olbermann: A hypocrite and a liar.
Keith is god.. well as close as anyone can be to a fictional character.
Olby and fiction are good friends.
Will the statue we erect for our new god Keith have no balls ?
little tiny ones.....
Brian.. why are you concerned about the size of Keith testes ? Are you friends with Ted Haggard ?
No I just want my god to have balls. And you said he was god. So before I have Keith as my god, I need to know. Just asking, no need to go gay on me !
Bill O'lielly can cut and paste. Will miracles never cease. I surrrrre that old O'lickey researched all the suppositions in the article he copied. Hey O’lielly, take you head out of Keith’s ass and return to the real world,
In my world people like you would be dead.

Bravely spoken.
9:18 - People who are insane have no bravery. They just do theirs on impulse ---
Why bother trying to rebut what KO says anyways? Anyone with a brain in his/her head already knows that anything he says is amounts to garbage. The only people who listen to and believe him are brain dead Democrats and they're too stupid to know the truth even if they fell over it.Leave him alone and give him enough rope to you know.....
Did I miss where Cox said he'd shut this site down on 3/1? I looked but didn't see where he said that at all.
Ted Haggard is just the tip of the iceberg

A.C.L.U. defends the right to have anything and everything on The Library's internet
Katies what, about 5 years pass the age of consent?
I wonder if Keith and that ex-president of the Virginia Chapter of the A.C.L.U. ever hung out in a library together?
Doing research of course.
With O'Lilley!
KAF: "Is it time to close down Olbermann Watch?".
Monkeyman. Rev. Oralman. Oralman. Man on fan. Keithy boy. Olbermahn. Olbyplanet.
This is hilarious. The sure sign that someone has no rebuttal is to use childish epithets such as these. I couldn't wish for anything more embarrassing for a wingnut site!
Keep up the work!

Olbermann has been greatly served by this page. People like you and Brandon and J$ have been poster boys for what dumb ass hillbillies are all about - Cowardice!

I couldn't agree more. So you should talk to liberal Olbermann about calling people "Bill Orally". Or "monkey". Or "man on dog". Etc etc. You are correct: these childish epithets are a sure sign that Keith has no rebuttal.
Yeah Ted but as long as your an ex A.C.L.U. chapter president you can watch little girls getting raped on your computer all day long.
And keep the Library's computer filter free.
I don't know what wack job site you got but I'll go check it out. Is it the same one that said 'The Karl Rove indicments' would be showing up in a few days. ABOUT SIX MONTHS AGO?
In my world people like you would be dead.

It takes a brave little boy to call the same person every single night a liar (which couldn't be farther from the truth) then make a moronic comment like this.
Monkeyman. Rev. Oralman. Oralman. Man on fan. Keithy boy. Olbermahn. Olbyplanet.

sure sign that Keith has no rebuttal.
Johnny (Richi Rich cartoon name) Dollar says Keith has no rebuttal.
Really so you would think then a page dedicated to shutting him down would not be needed right?
Nancy Pelosi was on Larry King tonight (I know it's not a Fox show so you won't watch it) and she said 100% of the now retired generals of this war have said the war is the worst national security disaster in modern history. How the hell did Nancy Pelosi get to be Speaker of the House?
Oh yea that would be because Keith Olbermann never had a rebuttal for the last year leading up to Nov7th.
Yep you're right!!!

What the f**k are you smoking???????
Ted was Ted a member of N.A.M.B.L.A.?
Ted was everybody in Ted's church a member of N.A.M.B.L.A.
So remember folks if you vote republican and go to church you're a member of N.A.M.B.L.A.
But if you work for the A.C.L.U. and you get home from a hard day of coaching little league and you want to kick back with some kiddie porn. No Big Deal. Right Ted?
Thanks for clearing that up.

Who's a crackpot?
Why the hell would she need to name them. 100% means you name one they've concluded that Cheney, Rumsfled, Wolfowitz and Perle hand picked a stooge - George Bush and took him by the hand to Iraq.
They did this with a Tom Delay/Karl Rove political crime machine that is now defunct.
These generals - unlike your coward ass - give a sh-t about the soldiers dieing for nothing in Iraq.
Everyone of them were against this war but were under the commander in chief to do as ordered.
Cheney has f---ed this country up and only HUGE coward a--holes like you are in denial about this!!!
Keith Olbermann - American Hero.
J$ American zero!
Keith was born in NY, that would make him an American. But Hero? Only if you think he's some kind of sandwich, one full of ham and baloney.
$ero: If the generals want to help the military they should straighten out and fly right. There are 5 generals in Iraq that want to disobey the orders of the military --- and they can screw this up. Not to mention that it is the military's job to go into battlegrounds in distant places and such. You antiwar people would never know that for some reason ---

Oh boy is Puck in his element now. He finally got the conversation around to what loves to think about most. Note how he is able to sequentially describe coaching little league and then hurrying home to kiddie porn. Sounds like he knows what he is talking about.
But what he would talk about is the page posted.
Read it and weep fool. Like I said. Let's see you or any of the other 5 people here post a link like this about Democrats..... AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!!!!

olbermann and his ilk just keep embarassing themselves...bush was right, death squad leaders captured, sadyr fleeing for his life, al masri injured, iraqi surge working and democrats scrambling to stop it to protect princess hillary's accension to the throne.
new democratic bumper sticker:
"lose war to win elections"
every time olbermann speaks he turns one more democrat into a giuliani voter. keep it up olberloon.
Don't go to this link. It is all lies and none of it never happened.
Some Olbyloon made up this page to make me look bad.
http://www.armchairsubversive.com/
"Not to mention that it is the military's job to go into battlegrounds in distant places and such."
It's also the job of a Commanding Officer to look after the safety and well-being of the troops under their command. And these commanders feel that attacking Iran (not Iraq as you falsely claim) would unnecessarily place the men and women that they lead in danger. Since they cannot dispute the order as unlawful, their only option to protest if such an attack is carried is to resign.
The president does care ...

Talk about delusional denials.

What the f--- do you know what a soldiers job is???
f---ing cowards who talk like this should be sent to Iraq with insufficient arms and put on the front lines.

Uhhh... fool, what the f--- are you talking about?
When you demand that troops be sent into a war with no plan to win and you continue to support politicians who have to be shamed into giving them the right protective gear then you might claim you support them. But as an admitted coward (chicken hawk) what else would you do???

These aren't any far left pundits. These are life long war hawk military generals speaking the truth about your Chimp in charge.
I'm sure it pains them to have to say these things, which makes it even more believable.

The Generals' Revolt
by Patrick J. Buchanan
In just two weeks, six retired U.S. Marine and Army generals have denounced the Pentagon planning for the war in Iraq and called for the resignation or firing of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
Washington Post columnist David Ignatius, who travels often to Iraq and supports the war, says that the generals mirror the views of 75 percent of the officers in the field, and probably more.
This is not a Cindy Sheehan moment.
This is a vote of no confidence in the leadership of the U.S. armed forces by senior officers once responsible for carrying out the orders of that leadership. It is hard to recall a situation in history where retired U.S. Army and Marine Corps generals, almost all of whom had major commands in a war yet underway, denounced the civilian leadership .
It's amazing that such uninformed people come on this site and post like they have a clue of what they are talking about.

Patriot? More like Red Wolf.
Note the level of intellectual depth of his commentary.
Keith Olbermann slams the Republican party.
This nations highest men of achievement in our armed forces slam their chief. Sounds to me like Keith is in pretty dam good company.
The best the right gets for company on this page is pea brains like you with no substance to your comments.
Try again Rico/Red Wolf
No Jeffy, that wasn't me at 10:10. You won't catch me talking like that.
Why is it that you keep bringing up 'Woozy', when I haven't even been on the blog for hours? Are you obsessed or something?
By the way I hadn't planned to post anything tonight.
The idiot Puck tries to muck up an issue by saying kids are going to be looking at porn on library computers.
The real issue is that librarians are being asked to give up information on any site any person used in the computers in their library.
This is a basic freedom of speech issue.
As basic as it can get.
If you aren't outraged over this kind of invasion of privacy, you couldn't care less about the Bill of Rights and have no right calling yourself a patriotic American.

Ted because you seem like a level headed guy. I'm going to give you a scoop.

Ted here's the scoop. George Bush is really Hitler!!
So Puck now has two subjects he favors, Christian identity and raping kids.
This is typical of republicans who grew up in the deep south and never had a father to protect them from being raped by the mother's boy friends.
A lost lot.
Lock them up!
Nancy Pelosi was on Larry King tonight (I know it's not a Fox show so you won't watch it) and she said 100% of the now retired generals of this war have said the war is the worst national security disaster in modern history. How the hell did Nancy Pelosi get to be Speaker of the House?
In just two weeks, six retired U.S. Marine and Army generals have denounced the Pentagon planning for the war in Iraq and called for the resignation or firing of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. Is it 6 or 100%?
Sorry, I don't keep my face buried in whacko oregon papers to find my news.

It's obvious you don't have your face buried in ANY reading material.

How's this for mental disorder? Opening a Muslim school on tax payer's dime is the work of the Christian Right's influence on the Bush and the Republicans who insisted that tax dollars be allowed to be spent on Christian schools.

This is a mystery only to you Jeffy. Conservative followers need 'leaders' to constantly reafirm and validate their belief system....thus the ridiculous 'ditto' effect you hear over and over again on Mr. Drug addict's radio program.
A radio program can be '#1' with only a TINY fraction of the population listening. Most people don't need an explanation for this, but YOU are the one who thinks Rumsfield is still Secretary of defense, and Stephen Colbert is a conservative.
The end of that Op-Ed piece by the very conservative Washington Times is also an eye opener for RWer's.
Moreover, while the Bush administration has been taking victory laps as the unified budget deficit declined from $413 billion in 2004 to $318 billion in 2005 and $248 billion in 2006, the annual increase in the national debt barely changed. The national debt soared by $595 billion in 2004, $551 billion in 2005 and $546 billion in 2006. To put a fine point on the matter, the national debt has increased from $5.728 trillion on Jan. 20, 2001, to $8.713 trillion last week. When fiscal 2007 ends on Sept. 30, the national debt will exceed $9 trillion, according to the administration's forecast.

They go from being biologists when talking about evolution to climatologists when talking about global warming.
Now they are instant economists with the Rush Limbaugh comparative system of understanding budgets and our economy. Forget that Bush's own Tres Secretary has predicted doom just around the corner for our economy.
What's that? The Dow fell how much today????
John Holdren of United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate "Holdren, however, says even these measure will achieve very little unless they are accompanied by a global tax on greenhouse gas emissions. "We don't think ultimately society will get it right in terms of the full range and scope of activities needed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, until there is an additional incentive in the form of a price on greenhouse gas emissions, either through a carbon tax or a cap and trade approach," he said.
Won't it be fun to have another gas tax that goes into the pockets of the UN. We all know how responsible the UN was with the oil for food program.

" Do us all a favor and prove me a liar. Post a link that would demonstrate to us a single general who thinks Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld got us into a needed war in Iraq.

General Tommy Franks
General Tommy R. Franks is the Commander in Chief of the United States Central Command and the US commander of the coalition military operations in the war against Iraq. The four-star general oversees day-to-day maneuvers of US forces in 25 nations in Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East, including Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf.
Franks retired from the army on August 1, 2003. Far from slowing down, however, he promptly filled his schedule with speaking engagements and began to write his memoirs. The book, American Soldier, was published in August of 2004. He also managed to find a moment that year to add the honor of being named Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire. In his spare time, Franks indulged in such favorite pursuits as golf, antiques, and spoiling the two children (one of whom dubbed the general "Pooh") of his only child, Jacqy.
While the campaign Franks led in Iraq was unequivocally effective in ousting Saddam Hussein, the ongoing violence and turmoil after victory was declared led to varied views on what his legacy would be. In hindsight, Franks maintained that he would still use the "small and fast" attack strategy, but allowed that other things (not necessarily under his control) might have been handled differently. In any event, he remained convinced that the world was much safer without Hussein in power and hoped the United States would continue to combat terrorism away from home. "If you want your grandchildren to grow up in an open society," he told Lyric Wallwork Winik of Parade, "we'd better deal with the problem as far away from here as possible, even though that's not easy or easily affordable. The blessings of this country are not by accident."

Ann Coulter called for the poisoning of Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens. And for the troops to frag Rep. John Murtha - military slang for soldiers to kill a superior officer. (These were both "jokes," she later said. Unlike most humorists, Ms. Coulter uses footnotes and must inform audiences after she has said something funny.)
Conservative radio host Hal Turner wrote on his website, "Any member of Congress who introduces, co-sponsors or votes in favor of any such amnesty will be declared a domestic enemy and will be considered a legitimate target for assassination."
Virgil Goode (R-VA) has proposed limiting people of the Muslim faith from entering the United States, so that they can't get elected to Congress.
Jerry Falwell said that the Katrina disaster killing 1,800 Americans was God's punishment on abortionists.
Newt Gingrich, rumored GOP candidate for President, recently called for new limitations on Free Speech in the First Amendment.
John McCain, leading Republican candidate for President, told a room of businessmen, "I want to keep health-care costs down until I get sick, and then I don't give a goddamn."
Ladies and gentlemen, meet Your Republican Party.

There's a pattern.

These don't happen in a vacuum. There's a pattern. To all these.
Not only no moral center, no moral edges.
Given that 75% of Americans are against the running of the Iraq War. Budget deficits have exploded, and big government has grown. And no social program. What does the Republican Party stand for?
Other than...see above.
There is a pattern.
If you are a Republican, is this what you want your party to stand for?
If you are an American, is this what you want your country to stand for?
If you are a human, is this what you stand for?
Because, right now, this is what the Republican Party is. These are not isolated faux pas. There is a pattern.
Imagine the outrage by Republicans if these statements were made by prominent Democrats. Now, imagine the outrage by Republicans after these statements were made by prominent Republicans - you have to imagine it, because it's non-existent.
Maybe there's no outrage spoken because there's no outrage felt.
There's a pattern to all this. And that pattern is the Republican Party today.
The G.O.P. says it has a target audience. But who realized they meant it had a crosshairs sighted on its back?
When Mel Gibson went on his pathetic rampage, it was noted everywhere that he was drunk at the time. Unfortunately for these people at the heart of the Republican Party, they don't have that excuse.
Assuming that there is a heart of the Republican Party.
Burger King, 4 inches, is that the size of your dick?
After reading this web site for a while, I'm starting to see a new perspective I've never seen before...it's all about dick size!
Johnny "Olby jr" Dollar,
"Fox Noise insisted the dropoff was because of the assassination attempt on Vice-President Cheney". Another Olbermann Lie, and we have no idea what Blue Blog was reckless enough to print this fabrication."
I watched FOX news for three hours today and yes the topic of the attempted assasination of Cheney did come up as a contributor to the markets falling. This was also mentioned in early and late AP reports which is where I assume FOX got this point from. Olbermann didn't lie but you did.
I wouldn't expect less from a "slovenly political hack" like yourself. keep up the good work.
Where'd the mistermeter go? Choking on that zero?
Yes Olbermann lied. Fox didn't "insist" the markets fell becuase of the Cheney thing. Nobody insisted on it. The overall explanationon Fox was the China markets, not Cheney. The fact that somebody mentioned the Cheney thing at some point does not mean that "Fox" "insisted" that the markets fell "because of Cheney", any more than MSNBC "insisted" that the Cheney thing caused the markets to fail because someone on MSNBC mentioned it too.
Olbermann lied. But hey prove me wrong. Quote me where "Fox insisted" that it was the Cheney attack that caused the market drop. I'll wait for you to produce that quote. If you don't, then you're just repeating Olbermann's lie, and you know what that makes you, "Dave".
Dave already proved you wrong. You're just nit picking with words, something you do all the time, and thats why you have even less credibility than you accuse KO of having.
Johnny,
I'm sure I'm wasting time trying to explain this to you, given that hating Olbermann is your religion. But this is the defininton of insists.
insist: To assert or demand (something) vehemently and persistently: We insist that you accept these gifts.
Whether or not Cheney was listed as a cause of the crash is not in dispute by you. Your dispute is whether Fox news put forth that idea vehmently or persistently. Meaning if they say it multiple times they were persistent or if they said it with passion they were vehement.
The first (persistence0 is a matter of verifiable fact) Did Fox news say it more than once? If so you are wrong.
The second (Vehmence) is more a matter of opinion since Olbermann could honestly characterize it as impassioned when perhaps you wouldn't see it that way. Or it is poosible he could have mischaracterized the way Fox put forth the idea. But, given that Olbermann is pure evil in your world, we can guess your view on the matter.
I know the definition of insist. And I saw ALL of Fox's coverage of the stock market crash. And Olbermann lied.
Prove me wrong. Quote me where "FOX" (whoever that is, you haven't explain that yet) "insisted" that it was the Cheney attack that caused the markets to fail.
Either you have a quote, or you and Olbermann stand as liars.
If Johnny said he lied..he lied, damnit! Johnny knows all about these things.
"Either you have a quote, or you and Olbermann stand as liars."
No Johnny, If Dave doesn't have a quote then he might be a liar( or he may be uninspired to find the quote). I have not asserted anything i just set the conditions of the debate. By the way here is one source.
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,254905,00.htm"A suicide bomber attack on the main U.S. military base in Afghanistan where Vice President Dick Cheney was visiting also rattled the market Tuesday."
So if anyone can find an instance on T.V. Where Cheny is listed as cause on Fox then that is multiple times, making Olbermann right and Johnny Dollar a big fat stinking liar.
dave and new guy, a weak attempt, kinda like woozy, mike, Burger King, bob, just to name a few sad hacks that think they win a debate. Name calling is the best they can do, oh, and avoid the actual debate.

concerned citizen, that post was made by a jackass troll/namejacker. Don't waste your time.
Sorry, but your quoting an Associated Press story doesn't cut it. Olbermann said Fox INSISTED that the Cheney attack was THE cause for the markets to fall. "Also rattled" does not "insist" anything, does not claim that it was the Cheney attack in and of itself that caused the market drop as liberal Olbermann lied. In fact, the AP story appears in hundreds of newspapers and on hundreds of broadcast stations. Did they ALL "insist" that Cheney was "THE" cause too?
Olbermann lied, claiming "Fox" (whoever that is) "insisted" when they didn't, that Cheney was THE cause, which NOBODY has claimed.
johnny, does obama have anything to do w/this site?
Yes he does. For one, he is one of our most valued commenters.
Well the alarm bells went off in the fever swamps of the far demo rat left---their hero Al Gore was uinder attack for living in a very hard to power glass--ummm grennhouse glass house. Sure it may make the Orangetard look silly---well in all candor--he does have orange skin--a bad run on that flat head--and he's a fat assed putz------so looking silly is par for fat ass----but Al Gore must be flacked for---despite the "inconvenient' truith that he is a hypocrite , with a huge "let them eat cake " type of elite hypocrasy--hmm--how does one use more energy in one house --one giant house--then a family uses in an entire year?Oh yea--fat AL NEEDS HIS POOL SUPER HEATED--AND EVERY LIGHT TURNED ON FULL BLAST .dON'T WORRY aL---FAT ASS OLBERTARD WILL STUTTER AND STAMMER HIS WAY TO YOUR RESCURE AND BLAME THE ENTIRE THING NOT ON YOU--WHERE THE BLAME BELONGS--YOU FAT ASSED HYPOCRITE---but on Cheny-or Rove-or Newt--or whomever the far left smear sites he crib sheets tells him to.

Why do you doubt Bicker's credibility?
I can't believe Olby posted the e-mail I sent him on his watchingolbermannwatch site, did you see it?
I can't believe Olby posted the e-mail I sent him on his watchingolbermannwatch site, did you see it?
Just wasn't sure, with all the namejacking that goes on.
No I can't produce the quote nor is your judgement of me not being able to produce matter at all. You offer no proof from your end either except you couldn't find it in the blue blogs which means nothing. If olby wants to say FOX news insisted that the markets fell becasue of the Cheney bombing, he is partly right. That was mentioned in coverage today. It is not lie, misleading maybe, but not any different then what you do on a nightly basis.
This morning I read your "defense" or "rebuttal" to my statements last night. I see that the only thing the only thing you attempted to refute was the Haggard story followed by some comments about how "court decision reverses everything he had been telling his listeners for weeks?"
First, yes you did equate the two sories( haggard and former ACLU president arrest). The simple fact you used the Haggard story coverage with the ACLU story as a comparison impies an equality between the stories. Equality is the basis of any comparison. Whether you use the comparison to show differenses or likeness, you start out with both being equal or similiar which is what you were doing to make your point about bias with Olbermann. No I didn't make it up as you implied.
You said "How do you justify his refusing to report when one court decision reverses everything he had been telling his listeners for weeks?" I had said then and still believe that this is a story worth covering because of of it's implications. As you know well, a court decision does not make your views or points less valid as you showed us with your take on the NSA court decision last year. Do you consider yourself wrong on that issue since a judge ruled against the NSA program? I don't think you do. It does not "reverse" in any way what he was telling his viewers. The supreme court said it was okay to put japanese americans into concentration camps during WWII but now that imprisonment is looked upon with disgrace.
You also claimed "they don't change the fact that liberal Olbermann deliberately didn't cover these stories." He delibertly avoided these stories? An effort was made in the Countdown offices to not report all of the stories you mentioned. Do you have source for this? I'll wait for you to produce that source. If you don't, then you're just making baseless accusations, and you know what that makes you, "Johnny Dollar".
Either he deliberately avoided the stories, or it was accidental: he had the script on his desk and it fell off and he couldn't find it in time so he just stuck something else in at the last minute. I say it wasn't accidental, any more than the stuff he didn't cover tonight. It was deliberate. I have spoken.
"I have spoken"
And no one cared.
Johnny you really think Keith is delibertly "spiking" a story about anti-Cheney hate speech appearing in the comments section of a lefist website. I've seen plenty of hate speech here and Olby has never covered that "story" either. hmmm Why don't you complain about that in your next paragraph about stories he has "spiked".
Jeffy: "I can't believe Olby posted the email I sent him on his watchingolbermannwatch.com site, did you see it?"
Translation: "mommy, I made a really neat drawing of a stick man, did you see it, did you see it?"
Jeffy, are you out of elementary school? If not, I apologize for everything I've said about you. It's just a childhood thing!

YOu are a friggin moron O'Lielly. Even when they spin it, it still comes out sh-t. Note "past three months". Talk about convenient truth. What about 12 months ago. Hum?
Then it says, "That's a total of $432". Well, does that explain the other $800? Then Olby gives Gore a pass because he has offices in his mansions and it has "20 roooooooms".
David kiley, journalist for Business Week, a big hater of the big 3 in Detroit, calls into Imus many mornings. There you have it, the true liberal blue comes right out. It's OK for some to have SUV's, but not others. Olbermann has just this week finally admitted he's a liberal. The line-up of his show each and every night features liberal guest after liberal guest. No other voices are heard but those that are leftists. Yet the Olbyloons still want to cling on to the idea he's a fair and impartial journalist for some reason. The jig is up people, he's admitted it. He will never be seen as a modern-day Edward R. Murrow. That boat has sailed long ago. He has NO credibility, none. He's a circus act and he's not even the main ring act, he's a sideshow freak.

Gore Responds To Drudge's Latest Hysterics
The right-wing is angry that Al Gore has won so much public attention and goodwill for his work on global warming. Determined to smear his efforts, Drudge writes in a screaming headline:
POWER: GORE MANSION USES 20X AVERAGE HOUSEHOLD
Responding to Drudge's attack, Vice President Gore's office said:
1) Gore's family has taken numerous steps to reduce the carbon footprint of their private residence, including signing up for 100 percent green power through Green Power Switch, installing solar panels, and using compact fluorescent bulbs and other energy saving technology.
2) Gore has had a consistent position of purchasing carbon offsets to offset the family's carbon footprint " a concept the right-wing fails to understand. Gore's office explains:
What Mr. Gore has asked is that every family calculate their carbon footprint and try to reduce it as much as possible. Once they have done so, he then advocates that they purchase offsets, as the Gore's do, to bring their footprint down to zero.
It’s the latest in a series of desperate attacks by Drudge to paint Gore as a hypocrite. Some other examples:
"Gore and entourage took 5 cars to travel 500 yards from hotel to screening of global wamring pic in Cannes."
"Gore motorcade to global warming event:3 motorcycles, 2 limosines and a Dodge truck."
These are the lengths that climate skeptics must go to suppress action on global warming. There is no meaningful debate within the scientific community, so the right-wing busies itself with talk about how much electricity Al Gore’s house uses — and even then they distort the truth.
Drudge can, of course, say whatever he likes — however, as Hubert Humphrey once said, “the right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously.†People are entitled to their own beliefs and opinions, but these are not equivalent to facts. The $250,000 question is…can Drudge put his money where his mouth is? On what evidence does he base this claim? There’s no question, of course, that some people will believe this claim without requiring any proof — but this is most likely because these people are already predisposed to think poorly of Gore and prefer to believe that this claim is true regardless of whether it is or not because it confirms their prejudice (otherwise known as negative halo effect). If Drudge can’t provide any hard evidence to support this claim and he knows it, then he’s deliberately lying for no other reason than malice — and last I heard, that’s called libel and that’s called a crime!
The founding fathers of the USA were liberals pushing liberty against authoritarian rule. As they made clear in their Declaration of Independance they tried to get along with the authoritarians but they simply were not treated in kind. And so a break with them was necessary. This struggle has been going on through out history. Look up the Athenians and the Spartans. The west has been turning away from religious dogma backed authoritarianism and the middle east is still deep into it.
And the American right wants to join the middle east in their way of life.
What Drudge misses is that Al Gore’s movie will result in hundreds of thousands or even millions of other people reducing their energy consumption. If they reduce that just 10%, Al Gore, Arianna Huffington, and Laurie David could have ten times as many mansions and fly Gulfstream V’s around the world and we’d still help prevent global warming.
Drudge is slime. Just like his fellow reich-wingers.
I think Al Gore is a noble man with full integrity. He works extremely hard, and is respected for his wisdom and for the true passion he has for America and his fellow people. He is a polar opposite to many selfish and fearful Republicans.
Whenever good people do good works, they will be attacked.
If that person happens to be a Democrat, then you know the Republican wolves will be laying wait in the weeds.
It's just the nature of the (republican) beast.
Just the writing of Al Gore's name by the wingnuts,

George Carlin's New Rules for 2007
New Rule: Stop giving me that pop-up ad for classmates.com! There's a reason you don't talk to people for 25 years. Because you don't particularly like them! Besides, I already know what the captain of the football team is doing these days . . mowing my lawn.
New Rule: Don't eat anything that's served to you out a window unless you're a seagull
New Rule: Stop saying that teenage boys who have sex with their hot, blonde teachers are permanently damaged I have a better description for these kids: lucky bastards.
New Rule: If you need to shave and you still collect baseball cards, you're a dope. If you're a kid, the cards are keepsakes of your idols. If you're a grown man, they're pictures of men.
New Rule: Ladies, leave your eyebrows alone. Here's how much men care about your eyebrows: do you have two of them? Okay, we're done.
New Rule: There's no such thing as flavored water. There's a whole aisle of this crap at the supermarket, water, but without that watery taste. Sorry, but flavored water is called a soft drink. You want flavored water? Pour some scotch over ice and let it melt. That's your flavored water.
New Rule: The more complicated the Starbucks order, the bigger the a--hole. If you walk into a Starbucks and order a "decaf grande half-soy, half-low fat, iced vanilla, double-shot, gingerbread cappuccino, extra dry, light ice, with one Sweet-n'-Low, and one NutraSweet," ooh, you're a huge a--hole.
New Rule: I'm not the cashier! By the time I look up from sliding my card, entering my PIN number, pressing "Enter," verifying the amount, deciding, no, I don't want cash back, and pressing Enter" again, the kid who is supposed to be ringing me up is standing there eating my Almond Joy.
New Rule: Just because your tattoo has Chinese characters in it doesn't make you spiritual. It's right above the crack of your ass. And it translates to "beef with broccoli." The last time you did anything spiritual, you were praying to God you weren't pregnant. You're not spiritual. You're just high.
New Rule: Competitive eating isn't a sport. It's one of the seven deadly sins. ESPN recently televised the U.S. Open of Competitive Eating, because watching those athletes at the poker table was just too damned exciting. What's next, competitive farting? Oh wait. They're already doing that. It's called "The Howard Stern Show."
New Rule: If you're going to insist on making movies based on crappy, old television shows, then you have to give everyone in the Cineplex a remote so we can see what's playing on the other screens. Let's remember the reason something was a television show in the first place is that the idea wasn't good enough to be a movie.
New Rule: No more gift registries. You know, it used to be just for weddings. Now it's for babies and new homes and graduations from rehab. Picking out the stuff you want and having other people buy it for you isn't gift giving, it's the white people version of looting.
New Rule: and this one is long overdue: No more bathroom attendants. After I zip up, some guy is offering me a towel and a mint like I just had sex with George Michael. I can't even tell if he's supposed to be there, or just some freak with a fetish. I don't want to be on your web cam, dude. I just want to wash my hands.
New Rule: When I ask how old your toddler is, I don't need to know in months. It's. "27 Months." "He's two," will do just fine. He's not a cheese. And I didn't really care in the first place.
New Rule: If you ever hope to be a credible adult and want a job that pays better than minimum wage, then for God's sake don't pierce or tattoo every available piece of flesh. If so, then plan your future around saying" Do you want fries with that?

More information from the party of family values:
Soldiers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center's Medical Hold Unit say they have
been told they will wake up at 6 a.m. every morning and have their rooms ready
for inspection at 7 a.m., and that they must not speak to the media. "Some
soldiers believe this is a form of punishment for the trouble soldiers caused by
talking to the media," one Medical Hold Unit soldier said, speaking on the
condition of anonymity.
More news from the honorable party that claims they have made the world a safer place:
Investigative reporter,Seymour Hersh, reports that the Bush administration is funding anti-Shiite Sunnis
linked to al Qaeda without Congressional approval and without appropriate
appropriation. Hersh speculates that the money is coming from the pallet-loads
of cash floating around Iraq( The pallets of money Grammie said she had no problem with)
and has already reached "three Sunni jihadist
groups." He says, flatly, that the president is "supporting groups indirectly
that are involved with the same people that did 9/11."

Yep, every bit of that "speculation/propaganda" is right off of the puffington post. The same people that were wishing death on the Great VP Cheney......
And every bit of it is true, much to your dismay.
Brickisms:
BRICK: "I've topped over 100K in a year".
Damned 'Brick'; you topped 100K in a SINGLE YEAR! You need to keep this hush hush from Fox 'News'...they just might want to come and do a story on you!
BRICK: "I don't street race moron. I keep it on the track".
And EVERYBODY knows you don't pollute on the track!
BRICK: "I don't drive my Cobra everywhere bu rest assured it looks like a diesel when I romp on it"
Jeepers 'Brick'...you're reall ballsy; You'd be hard pressed to find many people in America who would admit to something like that! By the way, 'Brick', you really should lean it out a little because you can never get the best times running too rich like that. You should pay a little more attention to pesky details like proper fuel/air ratios and stuff like that.
'Brick' says he knows a Lebonese that "thinks liberals are stupid".
Wow, 'BRICK', you know a misinformed and mislead Lebonese man, and he calls you his friend? How lucky for you too have a friend like this! After all we ALL need a friend!
BRICK: "I've altered the exhaust and ECU on more OBD 1 cars than I can remember. When you have that CO2 is the direct cause of Global warming, then let me know. Until then, shut the f--- up".
Oh, how you misunderstand me 'Brick', who am I to tell someone they shouldn't be breaking Federal laws for fun and profit? After all, we should ALL be breaking any law we personally disagree with, shouldn't we? The hell with this conservative "believing in the rule of law" crap.
BRICK, Your friend went to the 'REAL' USC (I wonder which one would that be?)! Wow 'Brick'! I bet it makes you really proud to be around someone with a REAL masters degree! Does he let you touch it?
The illiterate Jeffrey and his tag team buddy, No name, don't know that the Huffington Post( which only one post came from ) is made up of writers, Iraq war vets, authors, Congressmen, teachers, professors etc. Most are award winning columnists.
Puts to shame your sorry sources like Savage.
Mike, your writing is improving. The cast of characters at this site provides great inspiration, doesn't it?
Keep up the good work.
After all, Brick is "just another brick in the wall."
Thank you, David Gilmour.
Bushie- hear that after Pelosi bragged about the 5 day work week of the 'new-and-improved congress" they have had a total of one week that went over 3 days?
Just hate to see you beat your chest when the facts show otherwise. They talk the talk but surely don't walk the walk. Different congress same old sh-t.
I hear Congressman Jeffesron picked up a huge lunch the other day with cash. Cold cash, that the investigation may have not found. Ethical my ass.
Arianna has just about the best blog going today on the net.She seems to draw some of the best writers around.
Check out Steve Clemon's resume.
Maybe Jeffrey or No Name would like show us their resume and see how it stands up to S. Clemons.

hey Benson, did you relate to the above piece: When a Party's Values go AWOL.
or was it too close to hitting home?
Benson was in a restaurant where Con. Jefferson ate lunch.
Amazing!
What was the name of the restaurant and what city where you in?
Did he tip well?
Values go AWOL?
Like Jefferson's unaccounted 90k?
Or when Rep. Murtha was caught on tape negotiating bribes with Arab sheiks during the FBI's Abscam investigation in 1980.
How about leaving the scene of an accident for 12 hours when you have a young lady drowning in the back seat of the car you just drove off a bridge.
Jefferson, Murtha, and Kennedy- the face of the Democrat's moral high ground.
Puts to shame your sorry sources like Savage.

Burger King, at least Savage doesn't deny that there an enemy out there that wants to kill us, like puffer does. Sadly, you're head is so deep in the sand that you don't realize the enemy would slash your throat and wouldn't even think twice about it. Seen the Danny Pearle video? Hear about the muslim whacko that went on the shooting spree in the Utah mall? Or the muslim whacko's taking their cabs and mowing down innocent people all over the US?
More bad news for us all. And even though this news item came from Reuters, our anal wingnuts who like to know every detail where articles come from ( even though they rarely post any themselves), this one came from the DRUDGE REPORT , Ha !
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Sales of new U.S. homes fell 16.6 percent in January and prices were little changed as the number of new homes on the market decreased slightly, according to a government report on Wednesday showing some weakness in the unsteady housing sector.
The monthly decline was the sharpest in 13 years, since a 23.8 percent drop-off in January 1994.
New single-family home sales fell to an annualized rate of 937,000 units from an upwardly revised rate of 1.123 million units in December, the Commerce Department said.
Or when Rep. Murtha was caught on tape negotiating bribes with Arab sheiks during the FBI's Abscam investigation in 1980.

How many times do you morons have to be corrected with the facts:
Murtha never negotiated a bribe nor accepted a cent.
Catch a clue for once !
Six years of growth- not a chirp.
Economy starts to slip... BUSH SUX
Take an economics course, you may learn
about the cycles of macro economics
Nice Koolaid Bushey- read something other than a Leftie blog
About a month after the taped meeting with Murtha, the co-conspirator, lawyer Howard L. Criden, wrote in his affidavit: "Yesterday, Feb. 1, (Democrat Congressman Frank 'Topper') Thompson called and told me that Murtha was ready to go," adding that Murtha had indicated "during January that he was not ready to do business but would be willing to do so in the future."
Criden said: "Congressman Murtha of Pennsylvania would be willing to enter into an agreement similar to that of the other congressmen" — i.e., taking $50,000 cash from the sheiks for legislative favors.
Criden's affidavit went unsigned, according to his lawyer, Richard Ben-Veniste, solely because of the resulting publicity when the press blew the investigation, leading Criden to believe the prosecutors had broken the deal.
Criden was later convicted and sentenced to six years in prison, along with seven members of Congress (six of them Democrats). Murtha was an unindicted co-conspirator.
If it were up to me, Jefferson would be thrown out on his ass, but he was REELECTED.Obviously his constituents felt differently.
It's called a democracy.
You want to talk corruption. Let's go to the party that is KNOWN for it:
Former Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL). White House religious adviser Pastor Ted Haggard, disgraced president of the National Association of Evangelicals. Former Rep. Duke Cunningham (R-CA) in jail. Former Rep. Bob Ney (R-OH) pleading guilty. Former Republican Majority Leader Tom Delay under indictment.
Just a partial list.
New America Foundation, funny I didn't see terrorism or homeland security anywhere on their "key issues" list. Another oddity, they call themselves "non-partisan." I saw a long list of socialist/democrats on their "fellows" list. Mike Cohen was among them. Non partisan, yea, right.
Saw the tape Bushie-
The meeting was made to set the bribe up. After the meeting the poress broke the story and the FBI wrapped up the investigation. 6 people in on the bribe conspiracy. 5 went down. Murtha skated becuase the sting ended too early. FACT
TAPED QUOTE: When I make a f***in' deal I want to make sure that I know exactly what I'm doing and ... what I'm sayin' is, a few investments in my district.
"at least Savage doesn't deny that there an enemy out there that wants to kill us, like puffer does."
Jeffrey the Giraffe keeps lying and lying.
Please show me where any of the great writers from the Huffington Post that has ever "denied our enemy wants to kill us".
Plus you can live in fear, if it suits you. Your party is great at instilling fear in people.
I choose not to live in fear.
Just remember you have a better chance of getting hit by lightning or an asteroid than you do by getting killed by a terrorist.
Educate yourself , please before you come on here and embarrass yourself.
BOTH parties are twisted. So you have no moral high-ground to preach... I don't run my mouth here about how morally high the Reps are. Yet it makes me laugh when you have such dirt in your own camp (especially Jefferson recently getting a high-level appointment) and you preach morality. Kick him out.
Oh, I forgot, he was re-elected. Then why promote him?
"New America Foundation, funny I didn't see terrorism or homeland security anywhere on their "key issues" list."
Funny. Your president and party has made the world more UNSAFE against terrorism. That's a fact.
Terrorism around the world has INCREASED substantially since Bush invaded Iraq.
All the while ignoring education , health etc.
You don't have a leg to stand on.
I agree there is corruption in both parties and as I said, I wish Jefferson was gone, but the GOP have set new standards for corruption from the top on down.
The war profiteering that Bush has let go unabated has been a disgrace.
Harry Truman rooted out war profiteers. Bush has given then a pat on the back.
HOW COME WE NEVER HEAR YOU WINGNUTS EVER SPEAK ABOUT IT ?
EVER !
I guess you approve.
Silence means approval.
Want to talk Jack Abramoff?
Bob Ney?..and a host of others?
Not to mention Scooter Libby and the liar in chief Cheney.
Your party should be burnt to the ground and started over.
This is what the American people has seen and voted accordingly in Nov.,...or did u forget ?
BTW
W. Jefferson has never been indicted.
Bushey- you'll blow that mandate.
C'mon- Jefferson?
Its a bad sign of things to come.
New America Foundation, funny I didn't see terrorism or homeland security anywhere on their "key issues" list."

And this is just one of around 30 regular writers from Huffpo. Most are just as distinguished.
Now your resume little Jeffrey:
Better yet, match it with Savage's.
Benson, go back and read the Party's values that go AWOL.
Have some perspective instead of harping on Jefferson, someone who hasn't even been indicted.
Your party has created a new standard for corruption, and you know it, unless you continue to look away.
For every W. Jefferson , there are 50 republicans who have had to resign because of corruption or immorality.
Here's a site that needs two full pages to hold the list.

Socialists?
That's an anachorism.( look it up)
Anyone who goes throwing around the "socialist" term usually doesn't know what they're talking about.
It's very popular word for the less educated right wingers to use.
In other words, it's PERFECT for you Jeffrey !
Jeff:
I'm afraid you're over your head in this argument. With the exception of a handful of terrorist leaders, no one has done more to promote the spread of international terrorism than George W. Bush. In fairness, that was not his intent, he is simply that very dangerous combination of bully and bungler. Add in his overwhelming arrogance and his crippling hubris, and we have a lethal man running about. When someone tells me there is no one in the world more dangerous that Bush, I argue with them. When someone says Bush is one of the most dangerous men in the world, I have to agree.

This, coming from someone who gets their news from BBC! Not surprised.
Anyone who isn't a right winger is a "socialist" to poor Jeff.
Any distinguished writer is labeled a "socialist".
Jeff needs to take a course in History 101.
Boycottliberalism.com Schultzy and Burger King, try this on for size!
Jeffrey just continues to bury himself deeper and deeper in admitting his own ignorance.

"This is Burger King's resonse to the fact that the Islamo Fascists want to kill us".
Ant this is the response on someone with a disease called Hyperislamism", or in slang terminology; "Islamist on the brain". This new disease appeared shortly after 911, and those who scare easily, and are only capable of focusing on one thing seem most vulnerable to infestation. For unexplained reasons, it usually manifests itself in individuals who already happen to be right wing ideologues.
Aggravating factors include aerial saturation of the population with 'fear' pathogens through a common medium called Rushsavagehannity, which many Americans are unwittingly exposed to each day at least temporarily while commuting. Visual saturation with these same dangerous, mind narrowing pathogens occur in the home through a medium called Foxism, whom many more Americans become unwittingly exposed through apathism. Excessive exposure causes individuals to become more and more close minded, and they eventually loose all ability to reason effectively, or recognize reality.
Cure is almost impossible once the disease has advanced past the initial stages. Victims see only what they wish to see, and even massive infusions of truth and reality have little effect.
it makes you wonder what little Jeffrey does in his spare time other than watch Fox News and listen to Rush.
TV-out...too many liberals
movies- out...have to boycott most of them b/c his

There isn't going to be global warming. We're going to have an ICE Age. The increase temperatures will melt the Ice Caps. The fresh water will slow the Gulf stream hence causing a collapse in Temperatures. Ice Caps will cover musch of the Northern Hemisphere.

"Dope" is a well-chosen word, and I appreciate your tacit admission that President Clinton was never convicted of a crime. I am sure that took tremendous courage on your part.
I once thought you were terribly ignorant. Now, I know you are mendacious and, frankly and crudely put, stupid. The far right wing should be proud to have you as a fellow traveler.
Jeffy, I didn't see where you answered my question last night about whether or not you were in grade school? I need to know because I really don't like picking on children, but you DO sound like a child!
You Lefties brainwashed by akgore. A rise in temperatures leads to an Ice Age. Once the Ocean streams are slowed global temps will drop. I've read scientific reports cliamimg that in fact a New Ice age is upon us. I don't get it why the Left only chooses to tell people half story.?
Tell the people what will happen.
Global Warming is a lie.
Climate Change is the truth!
The Solution is Nuclear energy and Bio-Fuels. Because the oil companies have a monopoly on both parties nothing will be done until it's too late.
The Dems have nolans to anything that approaches a real solution and the Republicans don't care.
Plus the Dems don't want a real solution since they need it as a campaign issue to scare people.
