I couldn't figure out why KO appeared to be in such a bad mood last night. Then I listened to Levin's radio show clips. It seems that he invited KO's producer to listen to the show. And we all know that KO just can't stop reading/listening about himself. Hence, no doubt, his bad mood last night. This time Olbermann might have bitten off more than he can chew with Levin.

It will be interesting to see if Olbs brings attention to it. Kieth "answers to no-one" Olbermann certainly won't take this lying down, unless of course its ture.

I loved listing to the clips of Levin again. How long before Overbite tries to sue Levin? Will he Olbermann cover his ass whipping by the Landmark Legal Foundation like he covers the Libby trial? I'm not a lawyer, that would be JD's department, but if I'm correct, Levin was simply repeating a story that had already been in a newspaper. Furthermore, if Olbermann was foolish enough to sue on something, Olbermann would indeed have to supply his medical records to prove he's not on erectile dysfunction drugs or medicines for a mental disorder.And we already know he's in psychoanalsysis. Then there's the matter of the corporate emails that MSNBC is required by law to keep copies of. That would prove the predator claim right there. So tell me again how Levin is going to get sued? It's obvous that Levin does have an awful temper but I'm lucky enough to have once exchanged several emails with him and he was as nice as he could be.

I found his address on the Landmark Legal Foundation site and wrote and asked him several questions about his old boss, Ed Meese and Iran-Contra.

He replied promptly, answered all my questions, and was very cordial and dignified. We exchanged several letters and he was always fascinating and polite.

Contrast that with Olbermann's e-mail history...

He's even said that President Bush is NOT CONSERVATIVE ENOUGH. Levin is the worst kind of neoconservative - the kind that WILL NOT STOP until everyone is brought to heel under his myopic view of what the U.S. "should" look like.

Something that Levin said that I didn't know and find interesting is that an Olbermann spokesperson (His agent? Someone who works for MSNBC?), responded to Karmabite's claims by saying that Keith DID have a relative who died around the time Karma claims to have been romanced by this Carey Grant.

I mean I'm more than a bit critical of the judgement of a woman who couldn't resist a guy who asked her to email him racy pictures and who didnt want to be seen with her in public, but doesn't this confirm her story and prove that Keith is the sort of guy who preys on starry-eyed groupie-type chicks, and then throws them out like the trash? I know that's not illegal or fattening, but it's certainly immoral in my book and more than a little creepy.

This is classic republican, exactly by the play book. Get to some bimbo to say something about a critic and spread it to the zombies on talk radio. Evidently, Mr. Levin did not learn when they pushed the Paula Jones circus, the republicans ended up loosing Newt and Bob Livingston along with several other congressman who did not run for reelectin. That play book worked two ways after Larry Flynt put up his money. By the way, just judging body types, Keith is at least 7 and it would probably work just fine with the right lady.

I'm not a big fan of Levin's broadcasting style -- I think he's going for a Bob Grant-type attitude, but too often comes off more like Michael Savage in having a lack of focus on his target(s). The take-no-prisoners/biting, sarcastic humor attitude is good for the hard-core base, but you do have to be careful not to let your words get ahead of anaylizing the consequences (as Grant did when he was fired over his Ron Brown death comment and replaced by the less acerbic Sean Hannity).

However, I think in this case Levin knows exactly what he's doing, which is baiting Keith into upping the ante on his side with his attacks, the basis of those pretty much sourced from stories culled from the New York Post's Page Six and from Lloyd Grove's column in the New York Daily News (after Keith named Grove's research assistant as "Worst Person In the World"). While Olbermann does fire back at the Post -- the Murdoch ownership just makes this too much of a target -- he never fired back at Grove, who hinted that there was more dirt to come on Keith if he didn't shut his mouth. And Keith did clam up, which may be a sign of getting above the fray or the sign of someone who doesn't want to find himself in the middle of a major media sex story.

The question now is whether or not Levin has any other details on file about Keith to use if Olbermann does decide to escallate the fight (my guess is 2-to-1 odds he didn't as of this broadcast, since he was soliciting new stories on air. But that doesn't mean he won't get some as a result).

Nixon was NOT a paleoconservative. Neither was Ford.

Paleoconservatives are people like Pat Buchanan et al. who embrace an isolationatist, America-first (second and third point of view). These people are against our membership in the United Nations and believe that so concepts of the "international community" are merely institutions used to limit American power in the world.

The paleoconservatives oppose the foreign policy of the neoconservatives because they view the latter as modern day Wilsonians who believe that we can create democracies around the world.

Really, you need to learn about the difference between the various movements on the political right before you can comment on them.

The only thing I can surmise about the joint Rupert Murdoch/Talk Radio attack on Keith Olbermann is that the new world order can't stand what he's saying about the dictator bush and his determination to bring fascism to the U.S.

Much of levin's attack is based on ratings. So what. I don't own a TV because most of it is trash. I see Olbermann on sites like infowars. What I surmise from people who watch TV is that they are brainwashed zombies. Perhaps Olbermann is the only one talking reality and people can't recognize it because they have been brainwashed. When Olbermann attacks the new world order it is great. I'm waiting for him to come out and say 9/11 was an inside job. I agree Clinton was a disgrace, but who cares. Clinton and Bush are on the same team. They both work for the new world order. They are both tools for global govt, nothing more. It is the equivalent to voting for the gambinos or the corleones. Most of our candidates (boh democrat and republican) believe the same things---we are being offered a false choice every four years.

So I believe in the minimal state as best defined by Robert Nozick; my guess is Olbermann does not; he is after all a "liberal". However to his credit he has ceaselessly attacked Lord Bush for his destruction of the republic and continued erosion of our civil liberties. For that I commend him, and so should all thinking conservatives. I only wish he would go further and call for a full fledged investigation of 9/11--by people other than congress or hired Big Govt. consultants like Kissinger. I tell you the truth; this war on terror is a sham. Just like Vietnam, just like the war on drugs, and just like the coming "war against global warming." Big Govt must create conflict so that it can justify its own existence. Don't put it by the bastards to stage terror attacks to make us think we need more Govt. to protect us.

Soon even republicans are going to become victims to this new police state where secret wire taps, spying, concentration camps, and RFID chips on Driver's licenses are necessary and good for our protection.
