Read the dream article on Olbermann and had a good laugh! Not at the writing style but the typical Olby spin although, thanks to the interview, I now find a new lie by comedian KO who now claims that he was an only child even though he's said before that he had a sister!

Anyway, that's just to be expected of someone who apparently can't get enough of himself. The 80 words a minute with one finger is sure as hell no big deal. I've only typed with one finger of one hand (am doing so now!) and have been doing 90 since I was 16 and know many others who can easily do 80 also. This is no big deal if that's all you're used to although I'd like to see KO do this with figures!

But the ratings are the things that really are fun. While I won't deny the 709,000 average in Feb, the Hour Of Spin is usually in THIRD or FOURTH place in the8PM time slot, sometimes in SECOND, and has been in the coveted FIFTH spot a few times with even reruns of DEAL OR NO DEAL beating it. ANd even Billo's 11PM replay clobbers KO's original broadcast. Ouch!! I only have his numbers starting Feb 16th and his average from then to March 1 was 676,000 as compared to Nancy Grace who averaged 730,000 during the same time period which puts KO comfortably in his usual THIRD place, not exactly where the self proclaimed "rock star" would like to think he is! Oh, sorry, I forgot to add that his sub (from March 5 - 8: don't have the 9th's rating yet!) averaged 631, 000 which is only 40,000 LESS than the discredited sports announcer. How's that for deflating the old ego (although KO apparently is used to having things deflated). And MSNBC quadrupled his salary!!! Anyone think they got taken????

This site has been here since 2004 and hasn't "squashed" Olbermann's show so I don't think you need worry now. But OW has indeed grown. It's just a forum to discuss all things Olbermann. Read Mr. Cox's interview - even he has some good things to say about KO. OK, so he also mentions a few negatives.

I see Mike has returned to lecture us on what liberals do and do not believe, according to the Gospel of Mike. The liberal "pussies" comment was I-R-O-N-Y Mike. Look it up.

And re tax cuts--I don't know what school you went to but in the college Economics courses I took (and I had more than one), that was what I learned, that tax cuts stimulate the economy.

Not according to what he told Gail Shister. Why Keith doesn't even have a sister. He's an ONLY child. So in all of those other interviews where he talked about having a sister, and her husband, and their child, were those hallucinations of his or what?

That rumor is wrong. It's not Keith's sister who has mental problems. Think female relative other than his sister and you'll be on the right track.

And I'd say anyone in an interview who claimed they didn't have a sibling when they do is also dealing with some mental issues.
