"COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN" (8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. ET)
Host: Keith Olbermann
Topics/Guests:
If you've heard one opening spiel, you've heard 'em all: the war vote, the President does "dirty work", Gonzales does "dirty work", Tony Snow's cancer, Pat Tillman (again), Bill Maher, and more internet video awards ("everyday idiots"). The Hour of Spin was set into motion.
UPDATED (RCox): Video of Bill Maher interview and transcript
Keith bellowed about the "historic" vote in the Senate today. Quite the opposite of how he handled the last vote, which he never reported because it didn't go his way. Olbermahn painted the lack of strong GOP opposition to a desire to run away from the President, completely ignoring the fact that obstruction would just make the entire process take longer. There are troops out there who need funding, Olbermoronn. Chuck Hagel (R) switched sides to vote for the timeline, and guess which Senator got a lengthy video clip from an adoring but discredited sports guy? And guess which side was represented with zero clips?
Then it was on to "orbiting scandals" [Ding!], "no less then three Gonzales scandals" [Ding!]. A new poll says Rove etc should testify under oath. Segue to Tony Snow's cancer, with Monkeymann boasting that he emails with Snow about baseball and stuff. (Did Keith's well wishes send the Insincerity Meter to 11?) The Pundit for All Occasions said a few kind words and then Herr Olbermann turned the topic to the vote. Credit to Howie: he recognized that one reason not to obstruct the vote could be to speed up the process. But then he gave his stock an OlbyPlanet boost by saying that the "real reason" is Republicans are just tired and don't care to defend the President. Olby wanted to invoke Rule #1 to say a veto would be bad for "Mister" Bush; Fineman hedged, but said the AG will not last. Great thanks.
Some regurgitated audio (Pat Tillman's mother) preceded "a succession of scandals" [Ding!] in the Bush administration. The graphic read: "House of Scandal" [Ding!]. The expert guest for this segment was comedian Bill Maher. Olby referenced Valerie Plame being "thrown under the bus" [Ding!], adding that the administration prefers "phony patriotism" to "real patriotism". Maher rushed to agree, because on OlbyPlanet it's perfectly acceptable to impugn the patriotism of others, as long as they don't comport with OlbySpin. After both called the Bush administration unpatriotic--
Wait a minute! Stop the tivo!. Isn't this the same Herr Olbermann who railed against Republicans claming they accused others of being unpatriotic? Not just once, but again and again? But of course. The laws on OlbyPlanet never apply to Olby, you know. Maher went on to the 7 minutes after the 9/11 attack, adding that the Iraq war is "lost". Pretty lame stuff overall, but it earned Maher Great Thanks.
#3 was more recycled audio from the radio interview with Pat Tillman's mother, who gave her opinions and speculations about the incident (including the suggestion that he may have been deliberately murdered!). She reflected OlbySpin ("the war in Iraq is illegal...unjustified") which explains why she got all this play on Countdown.
#2: Plane collisions (regurgitated NBC reportage), Prince William, Prince Harry, Snoop Dog. #1: More uproarious internet videos. In the Media Matters Minute, Olbermoronn went after Michael Savage (Blue Blog Source: Media Matters). But the real venom was saved for Sean Hannity and "Fox Noise" (Blue Blog Source: Crooks & Liars). Once again Keithy Boy's interns didn't do their homework, complaining about a graphic reading "Democrats legislating defeat in Iraq"--without telling anyone that it was part of Hannity's weekly commentary. Get it? Not a news report. An opinion piece. Just like someone snipping out a piece of one of your Special Education Komments and using that as evidence that all of MSNBC is as extreme and irresponsible as you are, Mr Olbermahn, sir. Get your facts right.
Taciturn terriers: Oralmann painted a lovely picture of all sides uniting to support Tony Snow. To that end he carefully left out the reaction of the blue blogs, the same ones that he panders to (and lifts from) every night. No point in embarrassing his masters. "Man on Fan" Olbermann loves to cite polls, but only the ones that comport with OlbySpin. So naturally he picked one from USA Today, but spiked a survey showing 50% of voters will not vote for Hillary. He continues to ignore the Iran hostage crisis and the new developments thereof. Just like he's keeping the story of pistol-packing Sen Webb (D) off his air. There are 600,000 illegals still in the US despite having been ordered to leave. And it should surprise no one that Herr Olbermann was conspiciously silent about that "monkey" Chris Wallace and his devastating takedown of the infamous, deplorable one.
Olbermann's book The book that bears Olbermann's name is #11,534 at amazon.com, while "Culture Warrior" is #243. (It's that 2-for-$25 sale!) The OlbyTome is #3,494 at Barnes & Noble; O'Reilly's book is #104 there. Monday's Hour of Spin, with its incessant hyping of a Special Komment that wasn't, eeked out a second place finish, while the newly instituted 10:00 pm repeat ended up in fourth place, both in total viewers and in the critical, beloved, all-important, coveted "key demo". Tonight's MisterMeter reading: 4 [GUARDED]

Watch Keith interview Bill Maher
I didn't know that Olby considered Tony Snow a close personal friend.
Nice how he asked Maher if the Administration could be blamed for the Tillman coverup, to which Maher said no. Keith said nothing, then in the tease for the next segment blamed.....the Adminstration. Come on Keith can't you at least disagree with 1 sentence from somebody who mostly agrees with you to their face?
Does Olbermann always interject himself into stories? Now he's claiming to be best buds with Tony Snow?
Olby thinks everyone loves him.
Tony Snow isn't freinds with Ulbermahn. Another Keith lie!
Is this how you talk about your buddies, Olbie?

Olbermann: Snow Pick Merges FNC's "Bias" With WH "Propaganda"
Keith Olbermann: "We cannot let today's announcement about Scott McClellan go without you input on this. If the President really is pursuing Tony Snow from Fox, would that be frying pan and fire? Would the entire Fox News bias issue suddenly become connected at the hip with how the administration handles truth versus propaganda?"

Olbermann: Tony Snow 'Bald-Faced Lying' About 'Mission Accomplished' Speech
On Tuesday's Countdown, MSNBC's Keith
Olbermann branded White House press secretary Tony Snow "Worst Person in the World," accusing him of "bald-faced lying" about President Bush's so-called "Mission Accomplished" speech ><
Olbermann Keeps Score of Bush Saying ?Stay the Course?; Tony Snow?s Lies Worse Than Pathetic
Leave it to Olby to attack someone, in this case Hannity, when they're no even working that particular day.
Keith Olbermann, American hero, at least one member of the media who is not afraid to speak the truth to those who have stolen power. You are all so misinformed and misguided.
I'm glad to see the site running again. The comedy is priceless. Reading the postings of people who think the Iraq War is a magical success, there have been no casualties in the Iraq War, the sun revolves around the Earth, evolution is a myth, the Earth is flat, slavery is good because the Bible says so, etc. is hilarious.
Chris Wallace's destruction of Olbermann was breath taking. If only we could see Olbermann's fat face when he hears it. I love the line where he says that "Edward R. Murrow stood outside and did radio reports during the blitz in London and Olbermann has never been out of the studio." Classic. Go back to the toy store Olbermann. Thank you Chris Wallace.
Wait! Olby has goofed!
Saying that he was buds with Tony Snow and that he e-mails with him.
Zombie Nation Alert!!!! Olby really works for George Bush and the Republicans!
Don't you see it? He's friends with Tony Snow! Olby is a plant for Fox News!
Don't you think it strange that they took me off just to replace me with another Liberal?
He's outed himself!!!!!!!!!
YOU FOOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
McGOVERN FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Olby called him a liar at first
Before naming him the "World's Worst"
And now Tony's sick
Olby's still a prick
He claims "friends", but don't be coerced
I just found this site, Colbert, by accident, but I agree with you on the comedy of it. Tragicomedy, but comedy nevertheless. I would laugh if it didn't hurt so much.

The truth is a bitch, ain't it? Exposing Ulbermahn for what he is..... and isn't!
The truth is a bitch, ain't it?
Posted by: royalking at March 27, 2007 11:36 PM
Yes it is, and most of the people on your side treat the truth as if it were a bitch that you can use and abuse how you see fit. However, the bitch is about to kick you all in the balls and the rest of us will watch while the big bad asses who love to send other people to wars cries like the sissy's they really always were.
Not suprised that a liberal radio host blogged on Huffo that Tony Snow deserved to get cancer but he did hope that Tony died surrounded by loved ones, how nice. An Liberals call us intolerant hate mongers.

codas, all due respect, do you realize that our soldiers in Iraq and abroad are there to protect US and prevent further attacks, which has been successful, in case you hadn't noticed? Why is that the only people that want to pull out of Iraq are saying so from the comfort of their homes? Have you seen one soldier over in Iraq crying "I want to come home before we finish our mission?" No. Sure, they would like to come home, only after the job is done.
Finish the mission?
Dare tell us what that mission is.
Not suprised that a liberal radio host blogged on Huffo that Tony Snow deserved to get cancer but he did hope that Tony died surrounded by loved ones, how nice. An Liberals call us intolerant hate mongers.

Hey Jr rumor spreader, try posting the "radio host" name and the quote.
Other wise you are just making sh-t up - as usual.
>righteous nothing, you asserted this morning, that, there were innocent people in Gitmo, I said find one piece of evidence stating so, and you are trying to put the burden of proof on meto prove otherwise? I hope you are not a lawyer. Who's full of sh-t? You.
Posted by: royalking at March 27, 2007 7:11 PM
This is a replay for Jeff's benefit (bad short term memory):
Jeff's Assertion:
>If you had any clue whatsoever, which you don't, you would know that the terrorist detainees that are being held were not just "rounded up" like you so ignorantly stated. They were captured in "combat" situations, i.e. guns in hand, bombs, bomb making material, etc. Too bad we don't do a "round up" here in the U.S.
Posted by: royalking at March 27, 2007 11:05 AM
(In Summary: All Gitmo Detainees were caught red-handed literally with weapons on them, in combat.)
Me refuting that claim:
>That simply isn't true...
Posted by: The Righteous Brothers at March 27, 2007 12:35 PM
(True, I never asked him to prove it, because I knew he couldn't. He can't prove anything he asserts.)
Now, here's Jeff boldly requesting that I 'prove' I am right in saying he's full of sh-t:
>You, my friend, are sadly mistaken. Can you come up with one shred of proof that there was one terrorist or any person in Iraq that was just "rounded up" and detained indefinately as you so ignorantly stated?
Posted by: royalking at March 27, 2007 12:48 PM
Then, Johnny claims I must be Keith Olbermann because I understand the notion that just because something can't be proven, doesn't mean it isn't true, which later Johnny inexplicably seems to agree with me on:
>> First of all, just because you can't prove something doesn't mean it isn't true.
This lofty standard of proof can only mean one thing: the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann himself is posting here!
Posted by: johnny dollar at March 27, 2007 5:43 PM
C'mon Johnny, certainly even you understand that there can be proof for something, proof against something, and such a thing as not enough available evidence to come to a conclusion for or against.
The absence of evidence is NOT evidence of absence. This is the very thing that the religious cling to. Prove God exists....Prove he doesn't exist, etc.
I'm sure you'll agree, even with the internet at one's disposal, one isn't always able to attain evidence of something suspected of being true. Does that make it more or less true? No, it does neither.
Posted by: The Righteous Brothers at March 27, 2007 6:19 PM
Johnny, then agreeing with me:
>Of course. And people who insist that something in that category is in fact absolutely true are irresponsible hacks.
Posted by: johnny dollar at March 27, 2007 6:26 PM
Okay, let's see....
Jeff says that there are no innocent prisoners at Gitmo, they were ALL caught red handed with Guns, Bombs, Etc.
I say bullsh-t...
He says prove it.
Mike says you get paid for your time here.
You, while neither confirming nor denying say, 'Prove it.'
So, does the burden of proof fall on the person making the assertion or the person refuting the assertion?
I guess if you are one of the Olber-Obsessed, it just depends on which side you are on. The OTHER side always has to 'Prove It.'
Nice way to debate....
And Hypocritical....
And not a surprise...
Posted by: The Righteous Brothers at March 27, 2007 6:32 PM
...And then, as we read at the beginning, Jeff chimes in with his false memory that I was the one making an assertion and the burden of proof falls to me. So, first Jeff insists that I provide proof to him that whay he says ISN'T true, then Johnny comes on a says essentially , hey, if you can't prove it, it must not be true.
I think the Olber-Obsessed have been living on OlbyPlanet too long. It's starting to affect their thought process.
Then Cecelia chimes in with this nugget of wisdom:
I think the reasoning above rates as not only "having your cake and eating it too" but "having your cake, eating it, and lobbing it at your target.
Posted by: Cecelia at March 27, 2007 7:16 PM
Yeah, okay, sure Cecelia. In this parallel universe you inhabit, it's okay for someone to require proof from someone who's calling them for out for bullsh-t (while supplying no proof of their own), and at the same time acknowledging that the absence of proof is not proof of absence?
If you follow yesterday's thread you'll see Jeff demanding proof from me, and Johnny demanding proof from Mike that he is compensated for working here. Something Mike couldn't possibly prove or disprove.
I'm still waiting for Jeff to prove everyone in Gitmo was caught with weapons on them in combat, something he asserted before I even posted today.
...And prove to me Your God exists Cecelia, and we'll see who wants to have their cake and eat it too!
Righteous Brother, this page is here for one reason and one reason only, because Keith Olbermann slams Fox News.
All one need to do is check out Johnny$'s Fox News love page to understand this.
Fox News being slammed by a huge major voice against the republicans and Fix Noise is not acceptable to crime syndicate that is the partnership between Fox and the Republicans.
Keith Olbermann is so effective the majorities in both houses were lost and now Bush is going down in flames with scandal after scandal. Like the thread of loose knitted sweater the whole thing is coming down.
And Keith was the one who yanked that sucker from the cloth.
Keith rules.
Royalking, all due respect, is it the soldiers who determine the best foreign policy for our country? No. It has always been the job of the common foot soldier to follow the direction of their commanders, and their commanders follow our elected officials decisions. Part of the Vietnam syndrome is to now put the soldiers above the people and the country they are fighting for. Is it in their and our best inretest to remain in Iraq is a legitimate question that I will not be intimidated not to ask. I said it before. The military is a tool of the government. Not the other way around. Not in my country tiss of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Wasting the bravery of so many on a misguided adventure that has more negative than positive effects on the "global jihad" is more than a shame. it should be a crime.
codas that makes perfect sense and for that reason Jeff will completely block out what you have said.
Hey Jr rumor spreader, try posting the "radio host" name and the quote.

hear about Tony Snow and say to myself, well, stand up every day, lie to the American people at the behest of your dictator-esque boss and well, how could a cancer NOT grow in you. Work for Fox News, spinning the truth in to a billion knots and how can your gut not rot? I know, it's terrible. I admit it. I don't wish anyone harm, even Tony Snow. And I do hope he recovers or at least does what he feels is best and surrounds himself with friends and family for his journey. Cities at Risk of Rising Sea Levels
By THOMAS WAGNER, Associated Press Writer
2 hours ago
LONDON - More than two-thirds of the world's large cities are in areas vulnerable to global warming and rising sea levels, and millions of people are at risk of being swamped by flooding and intense storms, according to a new study released Wednesday.
In all, 634 million people live in the threatened coastal areas worldwide _ defined as those lying at less than 33 feet above sea level _ and the number is growing, said the study published in the journal Environment and Urbanization.
More than 180 countries have populations in low-elevation coastal zones, and about 70 percent of those have urban areas of more than 5 million people that are under threat. Among them: Tokyo; New York; Mumbai, India; Shanghai, China; Jakarta, Indonesia; and Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The peer-reviewed scientific study said it is the first to identify the world's low-lying coastal areas that are vulnerable to global warming and rising sea levels. It said 75 percent of all people living in vulnerable areas are in Asia, with poorer nations most at risk.
The study gives no time frame for rising sea levels or the potential flooding in individual countries. It warns, however, the solution to the problem will not be cheap and may involve relocating many people and building protective engineering structures. And, it adds, nations should consider halting or reducing population growth in coastal areas.
"Migration away from the zone at risk will be necessary but costly and hard to implement, so coastal settlements will also need to be modified to protect residents," said Gordon McGranahan of the International Institute for Environment and Development in London, a co-author of the study.
IIED publishes the journal Environment and Urbanization. The other two co-authors of the study are Deborah Balk of the City University of New York and Bridget Anderson of Columbia University.
Separately, the authoritative Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change said in a draft copy of a report expected to be released next week that coastlines are already showing the impact of sea-level rise. The draft copy, which was obtained by The Associated Press, said about 100 million people each year could be flooded by rising seas by 2080.
The draft copy warned that two biggest cities in North America _ Los Angeles and New York _ are at risk of a combination of sea-level rise and violent storms. By 2090, under a worst-case scenario, megafloods that normally would hit North America once every 100 years "could occur as frequently as every 3-4 years," the draft said.
In February, the IPCC warned of sea-level rises of 7-23 inches by the end of the century due to global warming, making coastal populations vulnerable to flooding and more intense hurricanes and typhoons.
Asia is particularly vulnerable, the study said. The five nations with the largest total population living in endangered coastal areas are all in Asia: China, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Between 1994 and 2004, about one-third of the world's 1,562 flood disasters occurred in Asia, with half of the total 120,000 people killed by floods living in that region, the study said. In addition, more than 200,000 people were killed by the Indian Ocean tsunami of 2004.
"Migration away from lowest elevation coastal zones will be important, but can be costly and difficult to implement without causing severe disruptions," the study said. Still, it said, "relatively small shifts in settlement location, out of a coastal plain onto more elevated ground, can make a major difference."
That is especially true in China, a country with an export-oriented economy that has created special economic zones in coastal locations, such as Shanghai. Fast economic growth has been associated with very rapid coastward migration, with the population in low-lying areas growing at almost twice the national population growth rate between 1990 and 2000, the study said.
"Unless something is done, there is the possibility that, as well as the people living in the low-elevation coastal zone, China's economic success will be placed at risk," it said.

Sounds like a certain base in Cuba to me - people imprisoned with no charges, no legal council, and no rights. Anyone who defends that as the American way needs to reread their Declaration of Independence and Constitution.

Now, the whole story, since wrongeous, likes to leave parts out. You responded to my response to sanity checks post. I'm still waiting for some proof that there are terrorist detainees being wrongfully held. "That simply isn't true" is how you put it. I hear some serious back peddling about to happen.
As a Democrat I don't understand why the radical elements in my party care about the detainees in Gitmo? They're not there for good reasons. I mean the greatest President of the 20th Century, A democrat named FDR, interened Japanese and some German and Italians. Also POW's were kept in military bases.
Why the symapthy for the enemy, I don't get it?
Factor, regarding the puffington post and Tony Snow, I said the same thing this morning and lil mikey said "we're not like that" and socialist mrs, philby said "only conservatives were that way", she knew no liberals who felt that way, wishing death on people, that is. There was a one sentence "article" on Tony and I noticed that comments were not allowed, for obvious reasons, the puffers would have shown their true colors, as did the liberal talk show host that you have proven. Nice going.
Why the symapthy for the enemy, I don't get it?

Joker, that very question has been asked many times, no one can give an actual answer. Rodan asked mrs philby yesterday and she danced around the question all day long.
I just got back from Vegas a couple of days ago. Rodan told me he manhandled CW, that's why he's not here. Won some money so I'm in a good mood.
These posters here embarass me as a Democrat. Although I don't agree with Bush on that much, I'm an American 1st. I don't want to see an Islamic victory. These radical Leftists here don't get it. Like Olbermann they have a pre concieved world view.
They're nuts!
Here ya go Jeff, is a CIA report enough proof for you that not all Gitmo detainees deserve to be there?
http://www.cjr.org/issues/2006/5/Umanskyb.asp
Until recently, reporters have seldom sought to test the Bush administration’s contention that, as Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld put in early 2002, the Guantanamo detainees were “the worst of the worst,” and “among the most dangerous, best-trained, vicious killers on the face of the earth.”
The government would be hard-pressed to prove such characterizations. Indeed, as The New York Times reported after the Abu Ghraib photos of abuse had turned detainee treatment into a big story, a CIA report had concluded in summer 2002 that the majority of Guantanamo detainees probably didn’t deserve to be there. How, then, did so many noncombatants end up at Guantanamo?
With the key help of an Afghan stringer named Sami Yousafzai, Newsweek retraced the paths traveled by a handful of Kuwaiti detainees now at Guantanamo. (The magazine didn’t name all the men, but at least one of them has been released while others are still at Guantanamo.) It found witnesses in Afghanistan supporting the claim that the men were indeed aid workers who, as was the case for many detainees, had been captured and sold for bounty by tribal leaders, and who, after successive rounds of selling, had ended up in U.S. custody.
After two months of sifting the information, Hegland had her answer. “The data was really clear,” she says. “It was mind-boggling.” It showed that most of the detainees hadn’t been caught “on the battlefield” but rather mostly in Pakistan; fewer than half were accused of fighting against the U.S., and there was scant evidence to confirm that they were even combatants. In other words, most of the detainees probably were entirely innocent.
I know, I know Jeff, the story was written by communists that want to see the country taken over by Islamic Extremists.

The Righteous Brothers,
Why do you care about Gitmo. How does it effect your life? Explain?
Keith Olbermann is insane!
righteous, there is a lot of "probably's" in that story. Since that story came out, which I have already read, some detainees have been released. Do you know how many terrorist detainees that were released have been re-captured in combat situations? Far too many. If there are innocent people there, it's a shame, but, there are thousands of innocent people in prison here in the US, where's the outrage? On that note, I have a lot of work to do tomorrow, take it easy.

maybe we should suspend attacking keif today i mean afterall he is good friends with tony snow. keif never ridiculed him ever and they do e-mail eachother about baseball. im going to say a prayer for keif tonight i hope he can pull through this terrible news about his great friend tony snow.
great thanks keif for being such a close personal friend to tony.
Mrs. R. Adrian Philby, you are a dummy.
Now, I hate to use such strong language, but after reading your Keith Love Fest posting- I just had to say it.
Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield, Haliburton (except with George Soros makes BILLIONS from it) is eeeeeeevil.
We get it. Go over to MediaMatters or Kos.
You're just a dummy.
"...will say this was all about Keith, and he exploited Tillman's Mother"
Bingo!
Mrs. R. Adrian Philby ,
Why is Nicolas Sarkozy Racist. Because he wants to preserve France's Judeo-Christain from Islam? He wants to protect French values from Sharia law. If trends continue France will be Islamic by 2030-2050. They Muslims will establish an Islamic Republic. Sarkozy wants to stop it by preventing Islamic immigration and emphasizing Immigrants from Eastern Europe and Latin America who are more compatible.
Can you explain your support of Islamic Sharia law?
philby, this is the second or third time you have made the idiotic statement that this war is "unpopoular." I have asked before and I will ask again, can you name ONE war that was popular?
Royalking,
What Mrs Doubtfire doesn't realize the reason the war is unpopular because Bush is fighting it half heartedly. He should let the Army take the gloves off and crush Al-Qaeda and The Sunnis. It can all be over in a month is Bush grows a pair of balls.
>Things like facts and the use of irony never get in the way of the standard Oblyloon post. It's so good to know some things never change.

No, Brandon acting Mo-ronic is not I-ronic unless you happen to be a member of Mensa.
Which clearly you aren't...
That's just your straight-up garden variety ignorance.
Mrs. Philby
"Sarkozy's economic platform is, in some instances, radically leftist, even by French standards. I would think you would find that troubling."
Not true. Sarkozy wants to lower taxes and liberalize the economy.
The reason I support him is because he's anti-Islamic. He gets the Islamic threat and hopefully will use the Army to crush the Islamo-Fascists in the french suburbs and deport thwm.
For that he has my support.
Any enemy of Islam is a friend of my mine wheter Leftist or Rightwing.
It's a shame you don't understand history to realize the Islamic threat.
Why?
Mrs. R. Adrian Philby,
"No, Mr. Royalpain, WWII enjoyed widespread support, for the duration, because it began and continued to be a purposeful undertaking, it was executed reasonably well and the people were involved."
I agree with this. Bush didn't prepare or educate the public.
Your only fault is not understanding this war began in 6363 when the Muslims attacked the East Roman Empire.
philby, I hate to break the news to you, my little socialist scholar, "popular" and "support" or 2 entirely different analogies. Bush's effort in the war has been constantly undermined by the far left dems and far left media since day 2. To deny this would be an "outrageous lie" on your part.

Posted by: royalking at March 28, 2007 11:43 AM
If you believe that, then you must also believe that Bush MUST be a weak president for his policies to be ruined by a minority party, which the democrats were. Who exactly is the "far left" of the time of the beginning of the war. I would like to know. They must be very strong to undermind a Republican president and both houses, along with Rush, Sean, Ann, Krautenwhatever, and all those folks. Just a thought, but are you maybe just making excuses for a really stupid decision? Is he more dumb than anything?
royalking,
The only point The Islamist supporter Philby was right about is how Bush didn't prepare this nation for war. FDR was honest and educated the public on the war.
Bush didn't explain anything and said Islam is the religion of peace. he also let the Leftist press run all over him. He should've gotten the IRS and FBI after them. Heck even have a few of them disappear. He should've locked up people like Soreass and Ulbermahn and have an accident happen to the plane they were on.
That's why I don't like Bush.
codas,
Bush is a weakling. He tries to pleae the media and the DEms. He's in the back packet of the Saudis that's why he didn'y use 9/11 to become energy independent and started this Islam is the religion of peace crap. Muslims should been rounded up and deported to Saudi Arabia.
Bush sucks and I can't stand that phoney!
Bush sucks and I can't stand that phoney!
Posted by: Rodan at March 28, 2007 12:02 PM
Then at least we can agree on something.
Codas,
Can you explain to me the Left's love of Islam?
Bush sucks!
Olbermann is great!
"Can you explain to me the Left's love of Islam?"
I know I shouldn't but it's too easy. Rodan how about explaining your UnAmerican hatred of freedom of the press and freedom of religion.
"Rodan how about explaining your UnAmerican hatred of freedom of the press and freedom of religion. "
Our civilization is at stake. Islam is rising and has been to reignaite the war that began in 6363 AD. They will use the Left's PC mindframe to destroy us.
I wish the Left would join the Right and prepare society for the coming life and death struggle!
Didn't Tony Snow once say "Olbermann's friends could fill a phone booth?"
Mr. Snow, pick up the phone, it's Mr. Olbermann.
I rather have a life or death struggle to keep freedom of religion and freddom of speech. America is not worth fighting for without them.
>Royalking, What Mrs Doubtfire doesn't realize the reason the war is unpopular because Bush is fighting it half heartedly. He should let the Army take the gloves off and crush Al-Qaeda and The Sunnis. It can all be over in a month is Bush grows a pair of balls.

Hey Rodan, here's your shiite buddies in action. I never knew you took sides in the Iraq civil war we allowed to happen. Curious you should side with the Shiites.
Police Gun Down Dozens Over Iraq Blasts
By SINAN SALAHEDDIN, Associated Press Writer
56 minutes ago
BAGHDAD - Shiite militants and police enraged by massive truck bombings in Tal Afar went on a revenge spree against Sunni residents in the northwestern town Wednesday, killing as many as 60 people, officials said.
The gunmen roamed Sunni neighborhoods in the city through the night, shooting at residents and homes, according to police and a local Sunni politician.
Witnesses said relatives of the Shiite victims in the truck bombings broke into the Sunni homes and killed the men inside or dragged them out and shot them in the streets.
"...Islam is rising and has been to reignaite the war that began in 6363 AD."
Uh, Rodan, isn't 6363 AD like, in the future, or something...
"...join the Right and prepare society for the coming life and death struggle!"
Posted by: Rodan at March 28, 2007 12:54 PM
Join the right? Are you serious Rodan? The Right isn't preparing for a life and death struggle. The Right is either passively and contently waiting for the Rapture, or lining their pockets on other people's misfortune.
Or hanging out here spewing Islamophobic gibberish.
There's a reason Islam is the world's fastest growing religion, and it's not because they kill themselves.
>Bush's effort in the war has been constantly undermined by the far left dems and far left media since day 2. To deny this would be an "outrageous lie" on your part.

Everyone knows that Sean Penn really holds all the power in this country, not that President guy...
Mrs. Philby:
You made several outstanding, thought provoking posts this morning that included much very relevant personal and historical perspective. Such well articulated insight should make anyone with an open mind at least reflect on their own position.
However, such depth of thought and reflection is lost on Jeff (AKA - 'Royal King'). You might as well try reasoning with your cat!
You see Adrian, as Jeff has stated himself, he is an avid fan of Michael Savage, who has irreversable indoctrinated him about the 'dangers' of listening to people like you. After all "Liberalism is a mental disorder"...as Mr. Savage has repeatedly explained to him and all his other minions.
I'm pretty certain that Jeff has also read the great Ann Coulter's book entitled "How to talk to a liberal". This book is chock full of references to the dangers of succumbing to the temptation of allowing dangerous liberal thought to enter one's mind.
Mrs. Coulter, like Mr. Savage, painstakingly instructs their followers how to avoid treacherous mind opening traps constantly being laid down by 'liberals'. After all, once a mind is opened to truth and reality, it will be lost to the forces of darkness forever.
Just to cite another example of the 'power' of a closed mind, take a look at yesterday's thread: All day, Jeff chided 'The Righteous Brothers" to disprove an assertion that Jeff had literally pulled right out of his own ass - that all Gitmo detainees had been caught red handed with "guns and bombs". All of us grounded in reality already knew he was wrong about this, but we didn't bother to argue with him about it because, once again, arguing with Jeff is about as effective as arguing with your cat.
When "Righteous Brothers" actually DID go to the time and trouble of posting an in depth refutation of Jeff's ridiculous assertion...one that included respected sources and quotes, Jeff simply dismissed ALL that evidence out of hand...and then proceeded to dismiss himself for the night, only to pop right back up again this morning throwing out still more false assertions that will be up to everyone ELSE to disprove.
In short, you're wasting your time trying to educate people like RoyalKing (AKA Jeff), Mrs. Philby. Their minds are made up and no amount of truth and reality is going to change them.
I like how the Right likes to compare the Iraq war with WWII.
Uh, let's see, in WWII it was the Nazis that started invading countries.
This time round, it's US.
...And no, Saddam Hussein didn't order the attack on the World Trade Center. Saudi Arabia had more to do with it than Iraq did.
If you hate Islam so much Rodan, why don't you acknowledge the fact that before we invaded Iraq, Saddam actually ran a Secular Government and kept religious fanatics in check. He did a lot better job of that than we've been doing. Saddam, like it or not, was actually a stabilizing presence in the middle-east surrounded by religious extremists.
Overthrow Saddam, and the religious extremists take over.
That was a great idea!
You can be anti-Terrorism, anti-Saddam, even anti-Islam, but at some point you are going to have to state the reason for your actions, stick with the reason, and be able to assess honestly whether your 'objectives' are being met.
Something 'The Right' is finally coming around to doing.
Hey, I got an idea, let's focus on Afghanistan and the re-emergence of the Taliban, the fine folks who ACTUALLY gave aid and comfort to the enemy instead of focusing on what 'the left' is doing.
>The Righteous Brothers,
Why do you care about Gitmo. How does it effect your life? Explain?
Posted by: The Joker at March 28, 2007 1:25 AM
I CARE about Gitmo about as much as you DON'T CARE about president Bush.
People are free to care and not care as much or as little as they like about whatever they choose without being judged by others.
However, no one can argue the fact that we are ALL affected by:
1.) The War on Terror
2.) President Bush
3.) Today's political climate
4.) The Media
and
5.) The Principles this Country was Founded On
If you can't see how GITMO is related to all five of those subjects and how, in turn, all five of those subjects relate to each of our lives, then I can't help you.
Sorry, I didn't give you the 'Because I love Islam' answer you were hoping for.
The Righteous Brothers,
Saddam wasn't as Secular as he used to be. Either way he was an enemy and we should've crushed him and then crushed Syria, then Iran and then the Saudis.
That would've required a WW2 type buildup and attitude.
As for your Afgahnistan comment Al-Qaeda and the Taliban isn't the only Islamic groups, there's Hizb'Allah, Ismas, Islamic Jihas, Islam-al Jmanaya and various others.
Let's not forget Iran and Bush's buddies the Saudis.
Unfortunently I'm not optimistic about about an American victory. The enemy isn't terror. That's a method.
The enemy is Islam.
Until we wake up the fact we are doomed.
Go back and put your head in the sand.
Mrs Philby,
The America and Europe you speak about is on life support. Europe is Islamicizing a fact you deny, I have relatives in France so I get 1st hand accounts. America will follow as the Islamic groups continue with the Help of the Left get special priviliges.
I hope we have an American Putin.
He's restablish Russia as a power and the Islamo-Fascist don't mess with him. He alos has put the Press and the Russian Left in it's place.
I hope Rudy becomes the American Putin!
"I hope we have an American Putin".
That statement says it all!
The Righteous Brothers ,
You are giving the I love Islam response Joker expected. You are supporting enemies of this nation and civilization by complaining of their treatment, when in fact I though those scum should be killed. They do it to us.
Also it's not the war on Terror, it should be the war with Islamo-Fascism.
It began not on 9/11 but in 636 AD when the Islamic savages invaded the Christian Eastern Roman Empire.
Since History it not taught in our Leftist run schools, it comes to no suprise the ignorance of Americans of the Islamic threat.
We're doomed anyway, I don't know why I bother with you Leftists.
Mike,
Look at Russia under Putin. Their economy is booming. They have a flat low tax system.
A freere market than even here.
He's crush the Islamic scum in Chechenya.
Ask any Russian, are the better off before Putin or after Putin?
philby, I hate to break the news to you, my little socialist scholar, "popular" and "support" or 2 entirely different analogies. Bush's effort in the war has been constantly undermined by the far left dems and far left media since day 2. To deny this would be an "outrageous lie" on your part.
Posted by: royalking at March 28, 2007 11:43 AM
And, Mr. Royalpain, I have some comments for you, too, but I am waiting for approval from Far Left Dems, Inc. I suspect they all have a hangover after voting to surrender to the Radical Islamo-Fascists last evening.
Posted by: Mrs. R Adrian Philby at March 28, 2007 1:32 PM
trot, trot, trot, run, run, run, deny, deny, deny. I guess the socialist scholar doesn't know the difference between "popular" and "support."
>righteous, there is a lot of "probably's" in that story.
Posted by: royalking at March 28, 2007 1:48 AM
Because some freed Gitmo prisoners returned to fighting the US doesn't mean that they are all guilty. In fact, it just goes to show that if you're not careful about who you capture and detain, you're bound to let some bad guys go, and imprison the innocent.
I fully realize 'The War on Terror' is messy business. That's why rhetoric like 'They're all guilty' does more harm than good. Let's take a look at it for what it really is, not what we hoped it to be.
Where's the outrage over innocent people in US prisons? C'mon...is that like saying why get excited about the US death toll in Iraq when so many die on our highways each year? That would be diversion. If President Bush and his advisors had implemented the policy that lead to the deaths on the highway, I'm sure there would be plenty of outrage.
...And if the discussion had been about innocent people in US prisons, I would have addressed that. Yes, I am outraged there are innocent people in US prisons.
And I must say, I'm about as far away from a religious fanatic as you can get, but if I was picked up, imprisoned, tortured, then released by the US, I'd probably turn around and fight them too.
FYI-I love our country so much, that if a foreign government invaded our country based on something Bush said or did, or based on religious fanatics living among us, I would kick the living sh-t out of the invading country. And then I'd vote Bush out of office in 2008.
"There's a reason Islam is the world's fastest growing religion, and it's not because they kill themselves."
It's because they breed like rats and kill off non-Muslims.
They also have Leftists like you promoting their religion here in the West.
I bet you Muslim.
lil mikey, there is a huge difference between "indoctrination of socialist propaganda" and "educating with facts and history."
I bet you Muslim.
Posted by: Rodan at March 28, 2007 2:07 PM
You'd be wrong, as usual.
That's part of the problem of your blind hatred of Islam, Rodan. You hate them so much that you think anyone who disagrees with you must be Muslim.
I think Rodan needs a hug...
Mrs. Philby... you're still a dummy.
Mr Righteous,
You just proved my point that the Left supports Islam.
As your cult leader Ulbermahn says
Great Thanks!
royalking,
You notice when I point out Islam has been at war with the west since 636, they have no answer!
Not even that great Marxist thinker, Mrs. Doubtfire.
They instead continue with their PC thinking that Islam is the religion of peace.
Islam is a death cult founded by a genocidal pedophile! He even hated Dogs!
Did you Leftists know that Muslims hate dogs.
They kill stray dogs and burn them.
Nice people.
righteous, I commend you for admiting fighting terrorist's is a messy business. You're not as crazy as I thought. The loons that think they are fun loving people (yes, they're out there) are completely clueless.
Olbermann has a limp dick!
lil mikey, I dismissed myself for the night cause I'm not a tweaker like you are, I work for a living. No, I haven't read Ann Coulter's book, know it all prick, but, it sounds like you have. Do you have nothing better to do than interject yourself on others debates? Don't you have any "transactions" to do? If I don't respond, It's because I am going back to work!
>The Righteous Brothers,
Saddam wasn't as Secular as he used to be.
Does that mean he wasn't Secular? No it doesn not.
>Either way he was an enemy and we should've crushed him and then crushed Syria, then Iran and then the Saudis.
Okay, settle down Napoleon. I thought you'd be against one country trying to dominate other countries, certainly that's the crux of your argument against Islam, right? Oh, I see, do unto others before they do unto you. Very inlightened of you.
>As for your Afgahnistan comment Al-Qaeda and the Taliban isn't the only Islamic groups, there's Hizb'Allah, Ismas, Islamic Jihas, Islam-al Jmanaya and various others.
Never said they were. But this was all about 911 wasn't it? No? That's just what we were sold.
>Let's not forget Iran and Bush's buddies the Saudis.
Yeah, I like to just lump everyone together too. Helps me sleep easier at night.
>Unfortunently I'm not optimistic about about an American victory. The enemy isn't terror. That's a method. The enemy is Islam.
Gosh, when Libs 'aren't optimistic about an American victory' they get labeled as defeatists and traitors. Your enemy can be Islam if you like. The rest of the country can rally around the fight against Radical Islam.
Cat Stevens never blew anyone up? Is he just waiting for the perfect chance? Should he be taken out and shot too?
>Until we wake up the fact we are doomed.
Go back and put your head in the sand.
Yeah, sure Rodan, you go 'wake up the fact.' And when you do why don't you wake up common sense while you're at it.
Rodan, my friend, remember the "blame, scapegoat and divert" tactics I have mentioned in the past? When they don't want to answer a question because they know it will expose them, they go to those tactics. The socialist philby just flat avoids them, sometimes. I guess Mike is a socialist, also, because he has agreed/kissed ass to every single post she has made. Maybe they should get together and drink frenchy wine and play with themselves, like philby does, and watch Ulbermahn.......
Wow Rodan...
Religious Intolerance, Big fan of Putin, Crush and Destroy other Countries?
...And you are so self-deluded you call others 'Fascists?'
You've actually gone so far Right on the political continuum you've become a Leftists and you don't even know it.
...Better go wake up the fact...
The Righteous Brothers
"Never said they were. But this was all about 911 wasn't it? No? That's just what we were sold."
This is began way befor 9/11. Unfortunently Bush lied and not explained that this war has been raging for centuries. Of course you still can't comprehend as you know nothing of the 7th Century Jihad.
"Okay, settle down Napoleon. I thought you'd be against one country trying to dominate other countries, certainly that's the crux of your argument against Islam, right?"
I don't want to occupy their countries. I want to destroy their countries! I want to devestate them in such a way that it will take them centuries to recover.
No Occupation, just Destruction!
"Cat Stevens never blew anyone up? Is he just waiting for the perfect chance? Should he be taken out and shot too?"
Yes shoot him too! He's Muslim hence an enemy.
Hey what do you thinmk of Muslims hating and killing Dogs?
great culture right?
With his religious intolerance and war-mongering mentality, I think Rodan would actually make a pretty good member Al-Qaeda. Perhaps they once shunned him and now he's just bitter...
The Righteous Brothers ,
The suvial of our civilization is at stake.
Yes, use Fascist tactics to defaet Fascists!
In the long run it will save our nation and then when the Islamic threat has been crushed we can go back to normal.
If I'm so Far right how come
I'm Pro-Choice
I'm Pro-Civil Unions
I'm Pro Seperation of Church and state?
I believe in Alternative Energy?
Maybe because I'm a real Liberal is the reason I view Islam as a threat to the Liberal iseals I hole dear.
Hey what do you thinmk of Muslims hating and killing Dogs?
great culture right?
Posted by: Rodan at March 28, 2007 2:39 PM
...And the Koreans eat them.
They're Muslim too, right?
Rodan does need a hug...
"Perhaps they once shunned him and now he's just bitter..."
I have no beefs with Religion.
\Islam isn't just a religion. It's 7th Century Political death cult that masquerades as a religion.
My beef isn't that they worship Allah, My beef is that they want me to worship Allah.
Get it!
I hold great disdain for all Religious Extremists. As should anyone who enjoys living in a democratic society.
And when Religious Fanatics cross the line and kill others, like Al-Qaeda, like Eric Rudolph, and like the KKK, they need to be stopped.
But if you can't distinguish the religious from the religious extremist, you've become just like them.
Cat Stevens taken out and shot.....?
Would that before OR after you smoke a bowl with him?
RoyalKing drivel:
"mike is a socialist also"....coming from YOU, that is a compliment. Coming from almost anyone else, it might be an insult.
"The socialist Philby"....another example labeling and name calling in place of trying to debate a clearly superior intellect.
"Bla"blame, scapegoat, and divert".....you don't even know what you're talking about. Did you get that from Coulter, or Savage?
"Maybe they should get together and drink Frenchy wine and play with themselves"....another splendid example of a 'retort' that RoyalPain actually thinks is 'debate'.
"Drink Frenchy wine together".....an example of the illogical and stereotypical right wing "hate the French" attitude. They can't get over the FACT that the French were RIGHT when they warned us invading Iraq would be a monumental mistake.
"play with themselves, like Philby does"....Yeah, thats right, throw meaningless and demeaning sexual innuendos at anyone you can't begin to hold a candle to intellectually.
"divert tactics"....thats ALL you do EVERY time you get nailed, which is about every time you do whatever it is you do in place of 'debating'.
"they know I will expose them"....ALL you ever do is expose your incredibly low IQ EVERY time you make a post.
I'm seriously glad you are on the other side politically. If someone posting on my side were as dumb as you, I would be extremely embarrassed. It tends to confirm the theory that many on the right really are only working with half a brain.
I gotta run, can someone convince Rodan that not ALL Muslims want to cut his head off?
Of course that doesn't mean he doesn't have a sleeper cell living right next door.
Better sleep with one eye open tonight, Rodan, once they take care of you, the rest of the country will be a piece of cake!
...And could you remind me again why you aren't in Iraq fighting right now? Failed drug test?
See what happens when you don't "emrace and embold" terrorists? The loony left calls you a "warmonger." They even throw in a little "religious intolerance" in for the fun of it.
"can someone convince Rodan that not ALL Muslims want to cut his head off?"
Rodan, if ALL Muslims wanted to cut your head off, your body and head would have been separated long ago.
Always love interviews with Bill Maher. He cuts thru the crap like a laser.
Rodan, what did I tell you, socialist philby played the "divert" card on you. She knows you are right so she mocks you. Make no mistake, Rodan, philby is the enemey within.
lil mikey, were'nt you asked nicely to leave? While you're up on your hypocritic soap box, go back and read your hero, the socialists posts, she avoids the truth like the plague. Take the indoctrinator with you to puffington and hang out with the anti-American leftists.
Royalpain: "she avoids the truth like the plaque"
And YOU avoid 'debate' and FACTS...like the plaque.
As far as 'leaving', I'd much rather hector the brainless anti-American rightist traitors...like you!
What an idea Philby:
I think I might just print out some of RoyalPain's mindless drivel and share it with some of my conservative and liberal friends. They always enjoy a good laugh.
You couldn't make this stuff up!
Mrs R. Adrian Philby,
I'm 1/2 Lebanese Christian. I had family members killed by Muslims including a Grandfather I never met. I had relatives who fought the Muslims during the the 70's and 80's. Don't lecture me.
Again you don't address my historical examples.
Ask you rector what happened to the Christians in Syria, Egypt and North Africa during the 7th century.
Mike,
I had relatives killed by Muslims in Lebanon.
So yes they do want me to con vert or die!
According to people in the know, there's really not too much to be afraid of from the "angry inch man".
Posted by: eddieboston at March 28, 2007 3:11 AM
He may have a tiny dick, but he's got a pile-driving ass!
Mr. Rodan:
Your history is simply too convoluted to address. You have no objectivity in this matter.
I am a Christian, and I try to be devout. However, I can certainly cite a host of historical reasons the Muslims should be in fear of Christians. The Crusades, the Inquisition. But to what end? Religion, either the promotion of or the destruction of, in any degree, as a matter of governmental policy is an anathema to a healthy society.
You really do need to either overcome or learn to cope with all of this. This is all unhealthy for you, and, if your view were to become that of a substantial number of Americans, most dangerous for our nation, perhaps even destructive.
No answer I give or anyone else gives, Mr. Rodan, matters a whit to you. Whatever you believe to be the case, however ill-informed you may be, is the Gospel from on high. In that regard, you have a far more Islamic mindset than you do Judeo-Christian, as you like to say, or American. You simply make discussion, in the true sense, pointless.
Any you can divert this !#*!#*, Mr. Royalpain.
To all the Bush lovers,
Since all the detainees ever brought to Gitmo were dangerous terrorists, can you explain why Bush released many of those dangerous terrorists?
To all the Bush lovers,

Posted by: Colbert at March 28, 2007 5:52 PM
This is just too convoluted to address....lol
To the anti-American dictator lovers,
I'll let our Thomas Jefferson explain the importance of freedom of the press.
"I am... for freedom of the press, and against all violations of the Constitution to silence by force and not by reason the complaints or criticisms, just or unjust, of our citizens against the conduct of their agents." --Thomas Jefferson to Elbridge Gerry, 1799
"The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them." --Thomas Jefferson to Edward Carrington, 1787
"Our liberty cannot be guarded but by the freedom of the press, nor that be limited without danger of losing it." --Thomas Jefferson to John Jay, 1786
"To preserve the freedom of the human mind... and freedom of the press, every spirit should be ready to devote itself to martyrdom; for as long as we may think as we will and speak as we think, the condition of man will proceed in improvement." Thomas Jefferson to William Green Munford, 1799
"No government ought to be without censors, and where the press is free, no one ever will. If virtuous, it need not fear the fair operation of attack and defence. Nature has given to man no other means of sifting out the truth whether in religion, law or politics. I think it as honorable to the government neither to know nor notice its sycophants or censors, as it would be undignified and criminal to pamper the former and persecute the latter." --Thomas Jefferson to George Washington, 1792
dictator,
I'm sorry you can't read beyond a fifth-grade level. I'll make it simple for you. Bush arrested bad guys. Bad guys were held in Gitmo. Bush released many bad guys from Gitmo. Why did Bush release bad guys?
Mrs. R. Adrian Philby,
I told Rodan I'll handle you as right now his blood is boiling and he went out to happy hour.
"However, I can certainly cite a host of historical reasons the Muslims should be in fear of Christians. The Crusades, the Inquisition. "
The Crusade in 1096 was a counter attack against Islam. After the battle of Manzikert in 1071, the East Roman Emperor Alexious asked Pope Urban for help against the Turks as they had conquered Syria, Armenia and Anatolia. It was a reaction against Islamic agression.
Don't forget, the Muslims attacked the Christians Romans in 636 AD.
The Crusades was in 1096.
The Inquisition was mostly against Jews who collaborated against the Spanish on the side of Islamic invaders who atatcked Spain in 711 AD.
As you can see the Christians countered attack. The Muslims started this war.
Read history and then try posting on this subject.
You are a phoney Christian thank God my Italian and Spanish ancestors weren't weak minded turn the other cheek Christians like you. They crushed the Turks at Lepanto in 1571 and that began the decline of Islam.
If my ancestors were like you we'd be praying to Mecca!
This is just too convoluted to address....lol

Thank you, Mr. Royalpain. "They" say imitation is the highest form of flattery. I am flattered, and I wish you a most enjoyable evening.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs. R. Adrian Philby
Eunice
Uh-oh, Rodan has put on his Joker mask
Colbert,
Why do you care about Gitmo? They're not American citizens. Howe gives a crap. They are the enemie!
Why do you Far Leftists support Jihadis?
Please explain?

And keeps living in the past...
philby, I hate to break the news to you, my little socialist scholar, "popular" and "support" or 2 entirely different analogies.
Posted by: royalking at March 28, 2007 2:06 PM
Is this how you "win" a debate, my little socialist, philby?
anon,
I was simply asking why Bush has released terrorists. It seems like a bad policy to let terrorists go.
The Righteous Brothers,
Why do you care about Gitmo. How does it effect your life? Explain?
Posted by: The Joker at March 28, 2007 1:25 AM
Codas,
Can you explain to me the Left's love of Islam?

I thought Rodan went out to drown his sorrows at 6:13.
If Rodan and Joker don't share the same body (like tHEy claimS) they at least share the same brain.
I think Rodan thinks if he pretends to be other people here who share his views, then it makes him seem more right.
I had read that excessive marijuana smoking causes schizophrenia. I had never believed it until now...
What's this? Feinstein and her husband, Blum profiting off the war? Shocker.

This explains lil mikey's problem.
It's funny how royalking and joker run away as soon as a legitimate question is asked. I guess you couldn't find any talking points that defended the release of Gitmo detainees. Better luck next time.
"Uh-oh, Rodan has put on his Joker mask"
Real funny. Joker is my neighbor and we have the same views about the Jihad. In fact he educated me on this subject and I read up on it. I know the same history as him.
he's more extreme than I am.
He's very passionate about this subject.
He's 1/2 Lebanese so he's very knowledgeable about all this.
So I guess in the Radical left's mind, it's impossible for 2 people to be worried about Islamic Radicals.
Obviously he's touched a nerve.
Colbert on Royalpain: "better luck next time".
He needs more than luck....he needs a brain.
Colbert,
"I guess you couldn't find any talking points that defended the release of Gitmo detainees. "
I don't think that they should've been released. I can't answer.
Ask Bush, maybe his Saudi buddies gave him money.
I'm a Democrat so I'm not a Bush fan.
I thought it was supposed to be an Adam's Apple, not Annie's Apple...
Do you suppose Ann Coulter is a Transvestite?

Joker is my neighbor...Posted by: The Joker??
Oops...Your Bad.
Sorry man, it would have been funnier if you were able to keep up the act a little longer. I actually thought it was kind of cute how you pretended to have liked-minded people rushing in to defend you.
March 28, 2007 7:00 PM,
I meant Rodan you idiot. I though UI was tying Joker on the name line.
Mistakes happened.
Again in your delusional mind it's impossible to have 2 people to have the same ideas.
Nice try.
Rodan is a Republican and is 1/2 Lebanese.
I'm a Conservative Democrat and I am are 1/2 Italo-Argentine and 1/2 Cuban.
So we're 2 different people.
Joker,
The answer that Colbert is fishing for is that not all of the detainees ARE actually "bad guys". In fact, since no trials are to be held or no writ of habeas corpus is being atended to, we have no idea how many of the hundreds canned up in Guantanamo are just innocent bystanders swept up in the arbitrary dragnets and no-questions bounty-hunts that the pentagon used in leiu of directed police work to clean up Afghanistan.
The irony is that these prisoners were released scot-free because they were not guilty of anything - but they are very likely our mortal enemies now due to their unust and harsh incarceration.
No name,
you have no arguments and are nothing but a Leftist loon!
"...Mistakes happened..."
Yes, Roker, Mistakes happened, they certainly did...

No name is better than two names...
Loon? At least I don't refer to myself as the 'wrong' person you are pretending to be at the time...
Today is the first time that I've noticed the re-animation of this pathetic forum. Can someone confirm for me my impression that the "Rodan/Joker" entity is Red Wolf from the old site?
"Loon? At least I don't refer to myself as the 'wrong' person you are pretending to be at the time..."
You're delusional. I've been posting before Rodan was. his original name was Penguin.
Obvioysly like a memebr of the Keith Cult you're nuts.
I bet your Coward Watch!
"...I meant Rodan you idiot."
So did you mean Rodan when you were telling us you are your own neighbor, or did you mean Rodan when you were signing your post.
To take a phrase from you..
"Please Explain?"

Ding Ding Ding Ding!
Sir Loin of Beef is our big winner of the evening!
Rodan/Joker" entity is Red Wolf from the old site?
Don't even go there. I actually had it with Red Wolf about a month ago.
Rodan and I are two different posters!
that would be like me accusing you of being Coward Watch.
Just Humor Him...
Tell him you want to kill ALL Muslims and he'll be your friend.
Then you can ignore him like all his other 'friends.'
Oh wait, he IS all his other friends...
at March 28, 2007 7:12 PM
You guys really are desperate.
You guys are just mad that your leader Ulbermahn was trying to hook up with a porn star and was shot down!
Actually Rodan and Joker are probably joined at the hip, and that should explain everything.
"Tell him you want to kill ALL Muslims and he'll be your friend."
Rodan advocates that not I.
Again you're obviously obssed with Rodan.
Wait a few hours he should return.
If you've read this blog, which I doubt Rodan and I have had disagreements.
You just want to divert from the fact that you idol Ulbermahn is a paid hack of George Soros.
You are a Looney Loser!
If you want to think I'm Rodan be my guest.
I'll just laugh at you!
You are a fool!
March 28, 2007 7:20 PM,
If paranoid rantings is all you have, I'll just keep laughing!
Olbermann sucks. He's a loser and needs mental help!
I TOLD you guys to back off! Now Rodan/Jocker/Red Wolf has gone undergound posting as Bob.
"I TOLD you guys to back off! Now Rodan/Jocker/Red Wolf has gone undergound posting as Bob."
Ha ha ha now I'm Bob!
Is this your new comedy Routine?
A true Olby loon!
Post some content .
I can't wait till Rodan sees this.
This will be some funny stuff to balze too.
You Olby loons sre desperate!
"#3 was more recycled audio from the radio interview with Pat Tillman's mother, who gave her opinions and speculations about the incident (including the suggestion that he may have been deliberately murdered!). She reflected OlbySpin ("the war in Iraq is illegal...unjustified") which explains why she got all this play on Countdown."
SO Dollar - who focuses only on deriding Olbermann's physical attributes and on gossip surrounding the love-life of his far more successful nemesis - casually dismisses the questions and explanatory senarios entertained by Mrs. Tillman, a woman who has in all likelihood thought of and stdied nothing for the past three years but the odd circumstances surrounding her son's death.
All it takes is the asking of a few valid but uncomfortable questions for the mother of a hero to be marginalized and attacked by the right wing.
Do people actually watch this dumbass commy? How come someone hasn't shot him?
Is this stupid piece of dog sh-t ever going to give up on Rove? Why doesn't he call his show "Rovehunt" or "Bushhunt". A total joke.
"Is this stupid piece of dog sh-t ever going to give up on Rove?"
Why would he? After all, you never give up on being a moron!
"Did Keith's well wishes send the Insincerity Meter to 11?"
Oh, for Christ's sake. If he had said NOTHING, you would have ripped him. If he had bashed Snow, you would have ripped him. And because he MIGHT ACTUALLY GIVE A DAMN, you rip him.
Tha makes you, Johnny Dollar, a GODDAMN PRICK.
The "blue blogs" (Firedoglake, Crooks and Liars, Think Progress, etc.) have said over and over that they WILL NOT play politics with this. 90% of the comments in the last two days about Tony Snow have been positive wishes of support, with the 10% negative shot down by the mods or by other posters.
