Many of you have asked for a field guide on how to spot an Olbyloon. So today we present the first in a series of how-to-field-guides on how to spot an OlbyLoon.
Olbyloon Species for Today: The CodePinkUs: Last spotted on Capitol Hill behind-the-scenes, so to speak, at the Plame Hearings.
Tie to Olbermann? Check! Seems the transgendered Midge Potts is a friend of one of the resident members of the KOEB at Democratic Underground. For those of you who have no idea who or what that means, it is the Keith Olbermann Estrogen Brigade, although in this case, we have to say that Midge is sadly lacking in Estrogen.
Thanks Robert and Johnny for making this a register site! The loons aren't going to be happy, but, oh well.
The color of moonbat is pink
Chromosomes just like Missing Link
Their feelings are hurt
So they'll wear a T-shirt
In case you don't know what they think
Thank heavens that was a guy.
I couldn't even focus on a word Plame said I was so preoccupied trying to figure it out.
And, off topic, who was the brunette behind Plame who looked like she kept smelling a fart? I am sure she is quite serious but lose the sour puss. It looked contrived.
The first link here is TOO funny. I thought it was a SPOOF until I got a little further in.
And our crazy but lovable Olbyloons accuse us of obsessing on irrelevancies. TDF.
Grammie
I'm not making any accusations. However, could it be that that tolerant all inclusive let everyone who agrees with us not only speak but ALL must listen and agree left wing be sabotaging this site?
Grammie
Granted that it is dumb to point this out here in the comments but...
After getting some complaints about people hijacking names I played around with TypeKey to see if that might helpful.
FYI-TypeKey sucks so I did not expect much.
I do NOT want to require registration to comment in any case but the crappy way that MT handles registration makes me even less interested. However, it is possible to have TypeKey enabled AND allow anyone to comment without registering. The only advantage of this is for people who are upset that someone is commenting under their "name".
In practice, we migth find that TypeKey causees more problems then it solves but I am willing to try it for 24 hours to see what people think.
It will not be used to BLOCK anyone or to make it HARDER to comment.
Those who have not been happy about the hijacking of psuedonyms and so on, you should try registering for a typekey account and then setting your browser to always log you in via typekey. You should be able to comment freely but everyone can see that comments from you are really from you.
For people who hate TypeKey (like me) you can just skip it and still post.
There has been an unrelated COMMENT SPAM issue which I am attempting to address as well using some new Movable Type features. As I fine tune that you might find that some comments do not appear immediately. That has nothing to do with registration. It has to do with how stringent the spam settings are - if I set them too high then legit posts will be held for review. Give me about 24 hours to get this squared away.
Sorry for the inconvenience while fiddling with this.
If anyone has problems please email me at the email at teh top of the home page.
How do you register?
Go to TypeKey.com and sign up for a free account.
When you come back here you are supposed to be able to click the above the comment box.
You see where it says "If you have a TypeKey identity, you can sign in to use it here." Click "sign in".
I am using Firefox on a Mac and would not work for me but apparently it is working for other people. Let me know if you have a problem using it (provide details - browser, O/S etc with versions).
Yes, Janet, the first link is way too funny. Seems the Loons at Daily Kos complained because these evil Republicans will only let the Krazy Democrats into public hearings. You know, seems to me that the Dems are in control of the House and Senate now but according to the Kos-ers, we're still allowed to "screen" attendees at public hearings and apparently it's all a part of our evil plan to showcase the strangest of the strange to make them "look" crazy. Uh-huh. Does it surprise anyone here that the "transgendered" he/she/it here was a friend of a regular KOEB'er?
Yep, Brandon, you are so right. As a little old grey haired lady living by myself, I check under my bed every night looking for 'an eveeeeel' but young and good looking Republican guy.
If you listen to the loons they are EVERYWHERE. I don't believe them. I haven't found one yet, darn!
Grammie
You gus are cute
Mr. Cox, this is just a test to see if it works.
Grammie
Mr. Cox, it works. But I obviously don't know the difference beteen a member name, a user name and my name.
No great shakes. I'll just stick to Grammie. It does seem to drive the loons even loonier on occasion.
And that works for me.
I wonder will Keith Olbermann will bring up the fact that the new emergency surrender bill is loaded with 2.98 million dollars in pork. So this bill that is suppose to save the troops also has pork tied to their backs. What happened to the ethic congress in history?
Olby bring up the subject of Democratic Pork? NEVER.

Anyone here bring up the subject of Republican Pork? NEVER.
News flash there 3/21: I'm not a journalist. Olbermann pretends to be one. I don't have a news show. Olbermann allegedly does.

You've turned your tendency to make non-sequiturs into performance art.
