Today in our continuing series on how to spot an Olbyloon we present the KOSignalsUs. The KoSignalsUs is best known for its overwrought and hysterical demeanor and its sincere belief that Olbermann is sending them secret signals through the cable transmissions of MSNBC.
Natural Habitat: The Krazy Keith forums (naturally). Most recent example? Here, where the cult of Keith members believe that because they likened Olbermann's latest pair of glasses to being like Clark Kent's (aka Superman) that his taking them off during Friday night's show was a move exactly like Clark Kent would make. (Never mind people with glasses take them on and off all the time). But in the deluded mind of the KOSignalsUs, this is obviously confirmation that Keith reads their amusing little fan forums and was acknowledging he knows they've compared him to Clark Kent. No, really. That's what they believe.
It's ironic that Keith refers to O'Reilly as "Ted Baxter" when it's Olby performing the infamous teleprompter miscue "take off glasses... look concerned". What a hoot.

My wife told me today that KO will be doing a segment on the NBC Mother Ship called "Cheapies", ostensibly about bargains and the like.
Well, "Cheapies" was a segment on a show ESPN Classic had featuring the Sklar Twins called "Cheap Seats". they did it every episode to make fun of the crap they were watching.
Looks as though KO may have stolen another piece of intellectual property.
Another aspect of the Kos Kidz is that whenever a red blog starts poking holes in their hero, they launch spam and denial of service attacks on said site.
She has the e-mail to prove it. And so does Lloyd Grove.
"Ah yes.... kinda/EXACTLY like Karma's claim that KO would tap on the desk to send signals to her."
The Loons wouldn't believe he was doing a shout out to his lady friend when he credited his LA bureau chief during a Tom Cruise story. Then suddenly the bureau chief is living with him and he's referring to her as his girlfriend. Do they still believe this is a fatherly mentoring relationship? Delusional doesn't begin to cover it.
And for months they tried to claim that Tur wasn't really in her early 20's but instead was a "late-in-life" college graduate. Once he confirmed she was 23 and that he WAS older than her father, those claims vanished. They just don't discuss her age anymore and boy do they get cranky when anyone else does on another board too.
Olbermann speaks to me all the time, like when he sends out the Homeland Security terror alerts by showing up orange.
Yep, bring up Karma. She's the gift that keeps on giving. Funny how they deny it happened but yet they keep mentioning her. The DU nest is particularly prone to doing this.
They claimed the pics of the tie she claimed he had given her were "faked". Yet he never wore that tie again on air. And his fans religiously document what he wears on air each and every night. Yet they can't explain why it is that the tie has never been seen again on air. Or how Karma came to be in possession of it. I've decided there's a high degree of...........what's the word? Denial? involved in being an Olbermann fan. They don't let things like truth and facts get in the way of their carefully constructed vision of who they believe Olbermann to be (despite the vast evidence to the contrary).
as always great thanks tonight sir.
Snipets of Loonland Lust:
"Keith in his youth was cursed with a strange combination of features: the delicate facial features and skin of his mother combined with the hirsuteness"
"By the 1980s, Keith appears to have gotten in touch with the concept of "manscaping" and tamed his hairiness down to acceptable levels" "
He had so much facial hair that it still disguised the "pretty" features of his face. Maybe he was afraid to let them show, having felt that back in his earlier hairless days he did look too girlish."
"the man has an incredible pair of cheekbones to go with that wonderful bowed lip and dimpled chin,? they have become the elements of a truly beautiful older man's face."
