Olbermann Watch, "persecuting" Keith since 2004

    April 11, 2007
Countdown with Keith Olbermann - April 11, 2007

"COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN" (8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. ET)

    Host: Keith Olbermann

    Topics/Guests:

    • IMUS FIRED: Steve Capus, NBC; Jesse Jackson; Vivian Stringer, Rutgers coach
    • EVIL RIGHT-WING HATRED: Al Sharpton
    • LOOKING FOR A WAR CZAR: Richard Wolffe, Newsweek

What an opening spiel! There was just too much Big News even for one Hour of Spin. Don Imus Fired! Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton react! Rush Limbaugh called Obama "Halfrican-American". Where's the outrage?!? The Racist Right! Plus Big American Idol News! Whew! If you think it's exhausting just typing all these breathless headlines, just wait to see how tired you get of Krazy Keith trotting out a classic example of Olbypocrisy over and over.

    Update: Transcript & Video

Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly book Culture Warrior

#5: Imus was fired not because advertisers were pulling out, but because the people at A-Mess-NBC didn't like him. That didn't stop Gregory, Russert, Fineman, and a fistful of others from going on Imus's show week after week, though. Did it? Capus, sporting the unshaven stoner look, heard Oralmann talking about how Imus made him "shudder" so many times. But of course we know that Olby was covering for Imus, so he held his silence all this time. Because he doesn't attack people at NBC. Oh wait, it's because he was leaving it up to the athletes to decide. No, strike that. Because management asked him to. Whatever. Anyhow, now that the I-Man is no longer an employee of A-Mess-NBC, Edward R Olbermann doesn't have to cover for him any more. Of course the dismissal was all about principle and the feelings of the A-Mess-NBC "team", not all the sponsors who dropped out. Of course.

Next up, Jesse Jackson. This is a "victory for public decency". So A-Mess-NBC has been indecent for all these years? Maybe Jesse's been reading Olbermann Watch! The Rev actually referenced the coarseness in popular music, which is more extreme than what got Imus fired. Then Herr Olbermann steered the topic to one of his oldies but goodies: Right-wing hate! Neil Boortz made fun of Cynthia McKinney's appearance. Why no outrage about him? Maybe because he wasn't getting three hours of NBC News airtime every day? Ya think? What's more, Olby regurgitated for the fourth time the "racist" comment by Rush re Obama: "Halfrican-American".

Stop the tivo! Just why is it that this particular Limbaugh comment is so horrendous that it must be repeatedly condemned by Monkeymann? What about Jon Stewart's Daily Show, Keith? What about their skit where they call Sen Obama: "Half-Black"? Limbaugh is an evil racist, but Stewart and the Daily Show gang never get one word of criticism from you. Where's your manhood, Olbermahn? Are you afraid to go after a liberal (Stewart) but ready to pile on an easy target like Limbaugh? Could this be Olbypocrisy? Is the Pope Catholic?

"Man on Fan" Olbermann bragged that he criticized Imus "behind the scenes" ("I can say that now"). Bwahaahaaahaaa. Since Jackson didn't take Olby's Limbaugh bait, Krazy Keith just went back and asked the question again. OK, so we'll just ask the question again of Bathtub Boy: What about Jon Stewart's Daily Show, Keith? What about their skit where they call Sen Obama: "Half-Black"? Limbaugh is an evil racist, but Stewart and the Daily Show gang never get one word of criticism from you. Where's your manhood, Olbermahn? Are you afraid to go after a liberal (Stewart) but ready to pile on an easy target like Limbaugh? Could this be Olbypocrisy? Does a bear pee in the woods?

Still the Reverend refused to be derailed and brought the topic right back to A-Mess-NBC yet again. The old divert and distract: Olby couldn't quite pull it off, could he?

#4: Vivian Stringer interview. Olby asked a question and she was off and running. He barely spoke thereafter. Great thanks.

#3: After promising updates on Imus's radio future through the rest of the hour, it was on to the search for a "war czar". "Mister" Bush's "failures", the "proverbial [Ding!] smell test", and administration denials. Olby asked The Wolffe Man is "Mister" Bush no longer Commander in Chief? Wolffie simpered in his usual obsequious fashion. Great thanks.

#2: Fat Ass dubiously took credit for debunking the story about Bush almost exploding at the hydrogen tank of a hybrid car. #1: American Idol. Again. Monkeymann teased this over and over as "sagging" and "plummeting" in the ratings; the truth is far less dramatic, but when has truth ever mattered to the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann?

    Stories Olbermann refuses to report

In the Media Matters Minute, Dick Morris was a runner-up (Blue Blog Source: Media Matters). But of course the winner reflected Keith's undying, unquenchable Olbsession: Mr Bill himself (Blue Blog Source: Media Matters). His crime? Speaking out against the killing of two teenagers by a criminal illegal alien, and speaking out against the killing of children in a fire by a city that didn't properly crack down on slumlords. On OlbyPlanet this is "exploiting" people for a "twisted political agenda". What's the matter, Bathtub Boy? Are you afraid Mr Bill might actually do some good? Get some laws passed? Save a few lives? Would you really rather have more people killed and murdered than let the eeevil O'Reilly succeed? Talk about twisted.

    Stories Olbermann refuses to report

Muted mongrels: As always, Herr Olbermann's reporting is selective. Like how he spiked the blunt comments by Sec Hastings about leaks from the Pentagon. Keithy's reportage of the "so-called war on terror" (yes, that's really what he calls it--just like Al-Jazeera) means that he'll even avoid stories that make Al Qaeda look bad. In much the same manner, Olby never fails to protect his buddies in Tehran, no matter what. Note how deftly he avoided any mention of Fred Thompson's cancer, not to mention positive new developments regarding Tony Snow's illness. And while John McCain gave a major foreign policy address today, on OlbyPlanet it never happened.

    MisterMeter

Olbermann's book The book that bears Olbermann's name is a stupdendous #19,072 at amazon.com, while "Culture Warrior" is #282. (It's that 2-for-$25 sale!) The OlbyTome is #4,676 at Barnes & Noble; O'Reilly's book is #1,009 there, and is one of the top five books of 2006 per Publishers Weekly. Alas, poor Olby. What happened to his "lock" on (a poor) second place? On Tuesday the best he could manage was third place, both in total viewers and in the critical, beloved, all-important, coveted "key demo". Tonight's MisterMeter reading: 3 [GUARDED]

    Update: Transcript & Video

Read the transcript to the Wednesday show

Keith Olbermann interviews Steve Capus, Jesse Jackson and Vivian Stringer in one of his mos sick-making performances of all time. Caution: air sickness bag advised.

Only took Keith a week to pull out the "b-b-b-but, hey look over here at these other comments!"

He didn't mention again tonight how he hasn't been on Imus' show in years? Come on, Keith, how can you let a day go by without inserting yourself into the news?

    HYPOCRISY?
While a black women can falsely accuse a white men of rape , a shock jock can mouth the words of any crappy rap or hippity hop song and cause more of furor at PMSNBC
Olbermeinfurher is next to go -FOR LOW RATINGS

    JESSE JACKSON ????

    REMEMBER 'HIMEY TOWN"!!!!!

And of course he completely forgets his own racist comments..Like "monkey" and "waterboy".

dropping Imus was such a cowardly move from the news pussies at MSNBC...

Caving to the race baiters Jackson and Sharpton....the very two people that stood by the woman in the Duke rape case...

What a despicable, deplorable day for MSNBC.

What a bunch of wussies, with Olbermann being the Grand High Exalted Mystic Wussy.

    To MSNBC ans Olbermann....

    A Verb and a Pronoun.

Let us not forget Mr. Hypolbermann's internal MSNBC email referring to colleague Rita Cosby as a half wit that was "Dumber than a suitcase of Rocks"... That sounds pretty personal to me. Why wasn't he suspended or fired? Where was NOW's outrage? Where was MSNBC's outrage??? By the way, that president of NBC News? He is a worm.

I watched MSNBC tonight purely to get this hypocritical, pear shaped punk's reaction. He such a spineless worm. He even decided to try to throw Rush Limbaugh on the fire. Does this guy really believe what he is saying??? He is absolutely dillusional if so.

    Hey Olby, remember this?!

    http://www.jossip.com/gossip/200607-olbermannhail.jpg

    and

    http://www.adl.org/media_watch/tv/20060728-MSNBC.htm

Last time I checked, the ADL is still waiting for an apology.

    Mike B,
Are you claiming Limpbaugh didn't call Obama and Halle Berry "Halfrican-Americans?"

The ironic question, J$! I love it!

You are pulling his style completely apart. GJ!

The LA Times termed Obama the "magic Negro" a few weeks back.

    http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-ehrenstein19mar19,0,5335087.story?coll=la-opinion-center

Where was the outrage from Not-So-Sharpton or Himeytown Jackson?

    That's right.

    > Are you claiming Limpbaugh didn't call Obama and Halle Berry "Halfrican-Americans?"

Are you claiming The Daily Show didn't call him "Half-Black"? What's the difference? Why is it racism and hate when Limbaugh does it? Why does Limbaugh's statement get trumpeted over and over by Monkeymann? But he doesn't utter a peep about his buddy Jon Stewart?

He slammed Imus "behind the scenes"
I'll translate what that statement means
    Krazy Keith is gutless
    Entirely nutless
The obvious result of flawed genes

    J$,
I know an African-American on Stewart's show uses the term. I didn't know Stewart did. And calling someone black is different than Halfrican-American.

colbert, playing the blame, scapegoat and divert, avoiding the topic at hand. Johnny, putting colbert in in his place......What's ironic is Ulbermahn could burn up an hour show with all of his own degrading and racial comments. Won't happen on Planet Olby. Tonight, not only did he chuck Imus under the bus, he backed over him a couple times in his own cowardly way. He sounds like a co-worker I would like to work with, not.

Limbaugh did not coin the phrase ' halfrican-American'. Interestingly enough, it's listed in the "Urban Dictionary" at http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=halfrican. Limbaugh simply uttered the phrase. Facist lefties like Keef and his admirers simply want Conservatives SILENCED!

O'Reilly said Meyera "should be baking pies". That's not sexist? Good to see you apply the same standard to everyone.

God, do any of these people that hate on Olbermann SO deprived of anything that actually happened on the show that they will spin ANYTHING AT ALL to fit their prejustice?

One problem with that comparison of Stewart and Rush: Stewart's show is satire (as in, take the comment with a grain of salt), while Rush's comment was said as if he made it, and it wasn't the first time he said that. And where the hell is the context of Stewart's comment? And why in the hell does that excuse Rush's comment at ALL?

And Olby is cowardly? What did you exactly want him to do? Disrespect the many players even further by publicizing opinions and becoming the lynch mob further? God, you GOT to put EVERYTHING as KO being the bad guy here? And when he speaks up, suddenly he's a bad guy. This is a damned if you do damned if you don't thing you're trying to pin here. What do you want him to do? Say something about it or not, condemn Imus or not? PICK ONE!!

C'mon guys, give the bias on anything being against KO a rest at least on THAT subject. He was dignified and respectful for alot of that discussion.

I think Observer Dan should get play of the day for that find. BINGO!

Over at NewsBusters they are having fun with what the New Morning show might look like on MSNBC.

Let's see. How's Ann Coulter, Olby and Laura Ingraham sound?

Nice 'cherry picking' of that pie line sanity check. Too bad for you we go for whole thoughts here.

Ya know Olby did forget about that crack Randi Rhoades made about shooting The President.....

But I guess Rush saying halfwhatever is so much more vile.

Funny how Olby named only talk show hosts from the right.

Well this means only three things.

    1: Olby forgot!

2: The most trusted man in News has an agenda.

3: Since I last looked Air-America has finally gone off the air!

Let's be clear here. What Limbaugh said about Michael J. Fox was offensive and he should have been made to pay for that. What Ann Coulter said about the 9/11 widows was equally offensive and she should have been made to pay for that. What Imus said was also offensive but he is being made to pay far beyond what he should be under the circumstances (i.e., that others have said far, far more offensive things and still are on the air.) Like Keith "bag, hag, slut, monkey, nazi-salute flashing"Olbermann. So here's the deal. From this point forward, given what has happened to Imus, do we then fire everyone who says something that might possibly offend someone? Because you know, Olbermann offends me nearly every night. The next time he says something sexist or racist or that is religiously offensive, do we get to fire him?

"Man on Fan" Olbermann bragged that he criticized Imus "behind the scenes" ("I can say that now"). Bwahaahaaahaaa.

    NOW WAIT JUST ONE MINUTE...

Didn't Olby just tell Dan Patrick just a couple of days ago that he thought Imus should be suspended and take sensitivity training? Is that what he told his bosses "behind the scenes?"

    Roll the tape...

    Colbert,

Where do I start? If you LISTEN to Rush, you know that when he refers to "half-rican-Americans" and his SATIRE of the Magic Negro quote from the LA Times is JUST that, SATIRE.

That is the problem with ignorant liberals like YOU. You don't listen... You claim to be tolerant, but are the most INTOLERANT people on the planet. It's free speech as long as YOU agree with it and when you don't agree it's racist, bigoted and a great big WHITE Republican conspiracy. Bill Maher can go on the Tonight Show and herrang the President saying "HE couldn't find his ass with both hands".. NOT A MENTION OF IT in the media. You don't think that is vile? I know it is certainly bias...

Colbert, you are the part of the problem. Leave it to us Conservatives to be the solution...

I havent posted here in a while but i still read, frankly keith is who he is, a vile dimwitted idiot who has the nerve to think hes the purveyer of truth

Fact of the matter is this, Keith last night sucked the balls of both jesse jackson and the righteous reverend al sharpton two of the biggest racists on this planet we live on. Where is Sharptons public apology To steven pagones? Why must jesse jackson be considered an authorith of the moral highground, mr hymietown himself?

Hey look msnbc has gone off the deepest end of the ocean anyway. Olbermann now is one of their leading voices, Olbermann the king of ball sucking hypocrisey himself, I almost gagged when he busted out hey jesse lemme point out to you my substitute host is an african american, the equivelent of hey i have black friends. And then for keith to insert himself into the story YET AGAIN by saying he was working behind the scenes for this to happen, give me a f---ing break

Hey Imus was wrong dumb comments are his specialty but enough already stop with the f---ing aplogies. He'll be better off not being associated with those nitwits at mslsd anyway

The Imus firing launches the left's crusade against conservative talk radio. Olbermann's hit list is just for openers.

This is no tea party, and etiquette is not the issue here. PC is the tool the left will use to crush
conservative expression in this country. If we continue to play by their PC rules by accepting their PC value system, we will lost this fight for posterity.

    > Stewart's show is satire

Stewart is a comedian. His show is on the comedy channel.

Rush Limbaugh? Olby himself obsessively refers to him as "comedian Rush Limbaugh".

One gets called a racist and a bigot. The other gets a pass. One is a liberal buddy of Olbermahn's. The other is not.

    Olbypocrisy.

I have to say that I did watch the KO show just to see what he would have to say about the Imus conflagration. Well, it would be a safe bet to say that Steve Capus of NBC puts the candy in candy-ass for that was the most self-serving piece of garbage I've been witness to in awhile. When Keith brought himself into the mix by stating he was warning managment about Imus "behind the scenes" that was just the cherry on what was a turd of an interview. I felt like throwing a brick thru the TV but that would've been a waste of a good brick! Then, as if on cue, MISTER Olbermann brings on the race-pimp Jackson and vainly tries to get him to agree to the laundry-list of conservative radio-types that should be pilloried for basically a bunch of mis-quotes Keith came up with. To say that that 15 minutes of TV was beneath contempt would be putting in mildly.

Facist lefties like Keef and his admirers simply want Conservatives SILENCED!

Posted by: ObserverDan at April 12, 2007 1:14 AM

Much like the pond scum from planet FOX wants olby silenced!

Uberloon has sordid track record when it comes to tolerance of women and races. From "slut" to "houseboy", Olby's got it covered. How can hobos Steve Capus and little sidekick Dan Abrams rationalize Olby's existence while firing Don Imus? Hypocrisy reigns supreme,

And there's absolutely zero proof that what Olbermann is saying about how he worked "behind-the-scenes" to have Imus removed is even true. As we well know and has been repeatedly documented here, Olbermann has a certain well-established history of playing fast and loose with the facts.

The next time he says something sexist or racist or that is religiously offensive, do we get to fire him?
Posted by: Kaf at April 12, 2007 9:40 AM

BAGHDAD - A suicide bomber blew himself up in the Iraqi parliament cafeteria Thursday, killing at least eight people _ including three lawmakers _ and wounding dozens in a stunning assault in the heart of the heavily fortified, U.S.-protected Green Zone.

And the last time you were boots on the ground in Baghdad was when...

    > Why would it be important that Johnny accused you of being a liar before he proved you wrong?

Talk about being dense. Or dishonest. I NEVER accused Jeff of being a liar. Telling deliberate lies, a la Monkeymann, is not the same thing as getting something wrong. I fully admit I was prodding the discussion a bit; it's called stirring the pot to keep the discourse bubbling along. But if you're going to claim I said something, you better have a quote. And there ain't no quote where I called Jeff a liar.

But you insist I did. What does that make you?

A very disgruntled olbyloon, no points, just "pointless cut and pastes."

No, we can't seem to find the emails. We think they may have all been deleted accidentally by people trying too hard to obey the law. Karl himself went down to Chattanooga to look for them last week, because he thought maybe they were backed up on the RNC servers there. But alas, they are gone. We're checking to make sure they really were deleted. Maybe there are still some around, or there is still some way to recover them. We're researching that. We'll get back to you. Just give us some more time to make sure none of them can be recovered.

    VOK,
    Who cares!

What a surprise. Keith throws Imus under the bus after he is fired. Is there anyway Keith can be more disgraceful?

I wonder if O'Reilly will get WPITW tonight for having right wing zealot Al Sharpton on to defend himself against Bernie Goldberg? O'Reilly basically gave Sharpton the whole segment to defend his position.
Here is a suggestion for Keith. Maybe you would not finish in 3rd and 4th place every night if instead of having bootlickers nod their head at you every night, you had someone on who disagreed with you on your show.

It's a tough race who is more clueless: The factor or Jeff.

John McCain's not an idiot. I'm sure he knows that it's not safe in Baghdad, but he has to pretend that it's safe in Baghdad because that's what the GOP base wants to hear.

We keep hearing that a significant majority of Americans think the war was a mistake and want the troops out.
And that's true. But those figures are an average of all voters and are pretty deceptive, because most Republicans are still gung-ho about the war. In fact, two-thirds of likely GOP primary voters support what Bush is doing in Iraq. They support the surge. They've swallowed so much Kool-Aid that any change in their diet would kill them.

What this means is, every GOP candidate has to say the war is going great, whether they believe it or not, at least until the primaries are over. Giuliani's very rah-rah about the war, Romney doesn't like to talk about it, but then he has his own religious jihad to worry about. But none of them will be able to say anything other than "the surge is working," or "if we leave now things will get really bad" because the base won't stand for it. And this means they're going to look increasingly ridiculous and out-of-touch as the months go on. And there's no way they can "move to the middle" once the primary is over on an issue like this.

Bill Maher is the host of HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" which airs every Friday at 11PM

Here are a few phrases you should learn if you want to be a reoccurring "expert" on Keith's show.

    "I agree Keith."
    "Your correct Keith."
" I couldn't agree with you more Keith."
    "Absolutely"
    "Excellent observation Keith."
"That would seem to be the case Keith."
" Obviously its the administrations fault Keith"

That's b/c Keith is correct most of the time...but you morons need to have your pound of flesh over attacking liberals..and right now he's the most visible one for you jackals to pounce on.

You wouldn't dare attack the root of the problems in this country, b/c they are mostly Republicans.

Leahy: Missing RNC E-mails are like Nixon's 18-minute gap
    Michael Roston
    Thursday April 12, 2007

The top Senate Democrat leading investigations into the dismissal of 8 U.S. Attorneys by the Justice Department is comparing e-mails lost by the Republican National Committee to President Richard Nixon's famous "18-minute gap" in White House tape recordings.

"Now we are learning that the 'off book' communications they were having about these actions, by using Republican political email addresses, have not been preserved," Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT), Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, said on the Senate floor.

He added, "Like the famous 18-minute gap in the Nixon White House tapes, it appears likely that key documentation has been erased or misplaced. This sounds like the Administration's version of 'the dog ate my homework.'"

The senator was referring to the Nixon White House tapes subpoenaed during the Watergate investigation. On one tape, there was an 18 1/2 minute gap. The former president's secretary, Rose Mary Woods, claimed responsibility for "accidentally" erasing 5 minutes of the recording, but not the remainder of the gap. Further investigations raised questions about the veracity of her testimony.

The Associated Press also noted that when actually delivered, Senator Leahy raised further doubts about the Republican Party's explanation for the lost e-mails.

"They say they have not been preserved. I don't believe that!" he proclaimed. "You can't erase e-mails, not today. They've gone through too many servers."

Leahy threatened further action in response to the news. "Those e-mails are there, they just don't want to produce them. We'll subpoena them if necessary."

The Vermont Democrat's speech also took up the activities of the first 100 days of the Democratic-controlled Senate, particularly in the area of oversight.

"I come to the Senate today to thank the Majority Leader and those senators who have been working so hard to restore balance to our government, protect the liberties and rights of all Americans, and revive America's leadership in the world," Leahy said.

The religious nuts won't like it, but finally some sanity provided by the Democrats on this issue !

WASHINGTON — A stubborn Senate voted Wednesday to ease restrictions on federally funded embryonic stem cell research, ignoring President Bush's threat of a second veto on legislation designed to lead to new medical treatments.

The 63-34 vote was shy of the margin that would be needed to enact the measure over presidential opposition, despite gains made by supporters in last fall's elections.

"Not every day do we have the opportunity to vote to heal the sick," said Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., a senator less than 100 days following a tough 2006 campaign in which the stem cell controversy played a particularly prominent role. "It is a noble cause," she added.

    >>>VOK,
    Who cares!

Exactly Joker!! These emails may never even have existed. And even if they did, there is no telling what they said. Maybe they said everything was done just right. And since they probably can't be recovered, it's time to put this long nightmare behind us. We just messed up and accidentally deleted all the emails from the RNC servers that WH officials were using to conduct official business, so they wouldn't be accused of conducting political business. There's not even any difference between the two, so that's why they were accidentally deleted to make sure we followed the Hatch Act and didn't confuse them. Where's the crime?!! Jeeze. Who cares.

WASHINGTON — Stretched thin by four years of war, the Army is adding three months to the standard yearlong tour for all active-duty soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, an extraordinary step aimed at maintaining the troop buildup in Baghdad.

It's tough to tell who the biggest coward is......

"Don't tell me you don't want to talk about personal life...Your shtick is your personal life!"

And with that, Keith Olbermann unleashes fresh hell on CNN's Anderson Cooper, decrying his rival's steadfast need to keep his sexual preferences in a state of non-disclosure. Color us utterly dumbfounded, but it all seems a little unhinged. To wit:

Olbermann: "It's the same thing as the Bush administration saying, 'We're going to war, but you really aren't allowed to know why.'"

Sure! Excluding the enormous expense, the lives lost, the careers ruined, the lack of potable water and power, the corrupt dealings of military contractors, the sectarian violence, the blowback in Iran and Syria, Abu Ghraib, John McCain's heavily armed stroll to a Baghdad falafel stand, and anything that could remotely be considered high stakes, it is SO TOTALLY THE SAME, Keith!

This wouldn't, by any chance, have anything to do with yesterday's chatter about Coop's expected pay increase, would it? Because if so, this is a heck of a way to start salary negotiations!

    Good night, and GOOD GRIEF!

[UPDATE: As it turns out, all of Olbermann's rantings on the topic of Cooper's sexuality well precede the news of Coop's pay raise. We're sorry to have implied anything other than the fact that Olbermann really, really, really, really cares about penetrating mysteries that are largely irrelevant.]

This site is called OlbermannWatch, Keith Olbermann makes the war in Iraq a center piece of his presentation, ergo talking about the failings of the war, something Keith does (and the chickenhawks don't like) is right on topic!

This from someone who claimed ALL the prisoners at GITMO were caught with guns and bombs in hand?

Let's see...talk about the war when it's politically expedient for you, Complain about talking about the war when it's not...

    Yet again, Jeff....

    Proven a hypocrite!

Too Funny! Just keep typing Jeff, and I'll just keep commenting on how dumb you are.

lil mikey, that's only the 100th time you've said that, can't you find a new childish comeback since you have nothing else to say?

This is not even half of the story: Olbermann said that he reported that his spiel of "did not..." refered to the knowledge that the president of Ford did not save anybody's life when ultimately, what Keith Olbermann went on about was not at all a debunker of the story --- he spun his babbling to make some type of in road to something he did not debunk at all !
