Olbermann Watch, "persecuting" Keith since 2004

    April 23, 2007
Countdown with Keith Olbermann - April 23, 2007

Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly book Culture Warrior

"COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN" (8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. ET)

    Guest Host: Alison Stewart

    Topics/Guests:

    • STATE OF DENIAL: Richard Wolffe, Newsweek senior White House correspondent
    • WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS DINNER: Dana Milbank, Washington Post
    • "SOPRANOS": Dominic Chianese, "The Sopranos"

To the nets ratings sweeps are no joke,
To get viewers they all go for broke.
    Krazy Keith's plan tonight?
Why, he runs from a fight.
Olby climbs in his bathtub to soak.

UPDATE: With Keith off for the night, we offer up a little OlbySpin bonus clip from last week. Watch as Keith Olbermann does his best to make standard operating procedure for the U.S. Army sound ominous. Even the normally reliable Paul Reickhoff contradicts Olbermann.

    First.

"I'm out for awhile. Possibly until tomorrow morning. So don't think I'm ducking any retorts from you wingnuts.
Posted by: indierik at April 16, 2007 11:04 PM"

Perish the thought. What could possibly give you the idea that we think you don't stay around to answer any hard fact questions?

You state that Ronald Reagan was a draft dodger. The fact that he joined the military voluntarily years before the draft is meaningless to you. And you throw out your justification for such an egregiously inaccurate statement, with no citations to back your claim up, that he spent his service at his request in Hollywood.

Poor little victim, Indierik. Nobody understands that what he says is only what he can crayfish around, when he gets around to it.

    Grammie

    Still waiting.

Glad you could have a well-deserved night off, Johnny. A lesser man couldn't sit thru this ordeal night after night. I salute you.
Thanks also for the bathtub for the meltdown - it never gets old. Love it.

Oh look ... It's the woman that proves that Ol' Big Macc is not racist ! (paraphrased, of course, but he did say that during the Imus controversy.)

Since I missed Indie's comment about Bill Clinton, er Ronald Reagan the draft dodger, I will post this from Wikipedia now.....

" After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Reagan was prevented from serving overseas due to nearsightedness,[17] and remained in Hollywood for the duration of the war. At the request of the Army Air Force, he applied for a transfer from the Cavalry to the Army Air Force.[17] In June 1942, he was assigned to the First Motion Picture Unit, which made training and education films for the war effort.[17] Reagan claims in his autobiography Where's the Rest of Me? that bureaucratic inefficiencies in his Army department weakened his enthusiasm for government and increased his interest in free market forces."

Was the lovely Allison wearing a "Keith Olbermann's Official Black Acquaintance" button?

Ms. Stewart's best comment: "I get to go home in 10 minutes!"

Scott, Rik made a statement to the effect that my hero (true) was a draft dodger. I posted from official records that Ronaldus Magnificue had instituted a correspondence course that led to his joining the ready reserve, I think that is the closest corresponding term today, in 1935 and voluntarily joined in 1937, three years before the draft was instituted.

After two go rounds of ignore the facts, our feckless Rik made the BOLD statement that you see in my post above. My response reiterates his claim.

So typical of him. It just ticked me off enough to save my response until I could meet up with him in somewhat real time. Everyone is a coward to the man who won't engage an honest war of words.

    Well, I feel better.

    Grammie

    Stiiil waiting Rik.

NBC pulled the plug on "The Most"
Did her hubby say Alison's toast?
    For her that must suck
    And she's sh-t outta luck
Because now she is Meltdown's sub-host

During the Imus thing, MSNBC was pointing to Alison Stewart to say, see, we really do have a black anchor hosting a show. Well apparently they got her use out of her. No sooner does the Imus controversy die down than her show gets cancelled!

How come they do not do "Worst Person in the World"s when Keith Olbermann is not present? How hard are they? Here is a make-up for today's absense.

Today's belated Worst Person in the World list only of OWUB FIT!

Worse: JV & Elvis, radio hosts, or should I say former radio talk show hosts. They called in to a Chinese restaurant for a prank call once. This was seemingly forgotten until recently, when they reran the skit. Now they are in some real and deserved troublt from CCTV. There are alot of C/CCTVs out there... this one is "Chinese Central Television". I have a feeling JV & Elvis are the "take out".

Worser: More on the pranking angle. 4 words: "The" "Real" "Wedding" "Crashers" & NBC, the culprit. The most expensive and time consuming "Punk'd" yet. Keep the ideas flowing, bored over paid television producers of lame reality television.

Worst Person In The World!: Sheryl Crow. Looking at a convuluted source to solve Global Warming, she wants toilet paper to be monitored, restricted, rationed ... whatever! The way I see it, If it can only do more ... harm ... than good, it can not save the world. Sheryl Crow goes flush.

Victim Janet, I did respond to your post some time ago (Remember when I said he's no H.W. Bush?). But once again your dishonest by only displaying a portion of my post. So go on your way and continue to think that Ronnie was fearless warrior (nearsighted- LOL!!). And before your generation checks out hopefully you all can continue to try to take more credit than you all deserve.

Scott, no doubt about it- Clinton is a draft dodging, gutless punk.

I daresay that the two-ply is recommended
in these "green" days of single-sheet usage?

Friday's #'s. 2nd place for Keith in both total viewers and the viewers that advertisers care about.

    8PM - P2+ (25-54)
    O’Reilly Factor– 2,020,000 viewers (324,000)
    Paula Zahn- 687,000 viewers (213,000)
    Countdown w/ Olbermann – 709,000 viewers (219,000)
Fast Money- a scratch with 100,000 viewers (a scratch with 23,000)
    Nancy Grace – 588,000 viewers (168,000)

OWUB, your choices are all on point. Of course Olby would never criticize an NBC program, so "worser" is out of the picture. As for Crow, well, KO won't criticize her because she's on his side. My advice re Sheryl Crow: don't shake hands with her.

Victim Janet, I did respond to your post some time ago (Remember when I said he's no H.W. Bush?). But once again your dishonest by only displaying a portion of my post. This is a classic example of an olbyloon/whacko libby. First, he/she is proven wrong. Next, they refuse to admit it. Then, they blather on with their little self-righteous spew (divert card), as if they were right all along! To diks credit, he is not a complete idiot, as proven by his last statement above.

"Victim Janet, I did respond to your post some time ago (Remember when I said he's no H.W. Bush?)."

That was in the same post that you made to justify your false claim of draft dodger. For your edification, let me copy and paste your entire sentence:

"And where did Reagan spend the war? Hollywood. Where was he assigned? The First Motion Picture Unit. He asked to be transferred there, it wasn't by chance. He's certainly no George H.W. Bush. That is a man I fully respect."

I am so glad you admire the elder George Bush for his service. I also do. And that proves your lie about Ronaldus Magnificus exactly how?

What makes you think that admiration for GWHB's service as the youngest Navy pilot in WWII gives you a lifetime pass on making false accusations of draft dodger against someone who voluntarily enlisted, but but but he insisted on the Hollywood division with absolutely no corroboration.

Perish the thought that there is any suspicion that you crayfish out.

    Grammie

Dontcha Got Some Good Stuff to Argue About?

    # Car Bomb Kills 9 U.S. Soldiers in Iraq
    # Democrats Challenge Bush on Iraq Bill
    # Gonzales Says He's Staying on the Job
    # Obama: Bush Falls Short As World Leader

Loved the clips. I guess George Soros' little Himmler will go to no lengths to attack the US military. Could this moron be anymore out of touch?
Great Factor tonight. More proof that the Nazi George Soros is running the Democrat party. Rosie and Keith are his favorite propaganda tools. The Zombies on this site march to his one world government UN tune.

Ronald Reagen is and was the most over hyped president ever. He "acted" the part well. I respect his son Ron and his daughters and I think he must have been a good father and a good man. He was not a good president. His adopted son Michael is a hack who has nothing but a name.

I'll rephrase what I said since it indeed wasn't accurate- Ronnie was a combat dodger that wanted no part of Europe during WWII, not a draft dodger. He was the GWB of his generation. But at least Ronnie served somewhere. He didn't hide out as bad as O'Reilly, Boortz, Savage, Bill Bennett and other assorted wingnuts.

Sorry for being naive, but I don't understand what you mean by "crayfish out"? It's a phrase I've never heard, so if you have a minute to expand on it's meaning I'll read it in the morning.

You are so overweening. Draft Dodger magically becomes 'Combat Dodger' in your world. And in your world, with no evidence to back up any claim, you crayfish away again.

Crayfish walk and swim backwards. When faced with an obstacle or a foe, they scurry away backwards, their tails tucked very tightly under their bodies.

I do find that a very apt analogy for you.

    Grammie

Janet, that same analogy fits lil mikey perfectly, too. I'll have to remember that one. Then mikey can accuse me of "stealing" lines from you. He looks for the little things and avoids the important things like facts.

Jeff sez: "I'll have to remember that one."

Of COURSE you'll remember that one Jeff! ... Because All you ever do is parrot the lines of other folks.

    Jeff's an enigma...

Is he a profoundly dumb person trying to act smart...
Or is he someone of slightly less than average intelligence trying to act profoundly dumb...

...And Crawfish scurry backwards because of you Grammie. I'd scurry backwards too if I saw you coming at me with your beer gut, false teeth, and a plastic spork from KFC.

    uhmm...

    "BUSHWIPE crawfish"

You must be talking about them
    "Real Raygun Repuglicunts"
as them Bush Supporters abandon Moron in Chief like rats leaving a sinking ship,
and at the same time hoping to hitch a tiny shred of credibility.

    "BACK! BACK! BACK OFF LBRULS!!
Even though I'm such a wuss to admit I'm a BUSHWIPE!!!
    I AM WARNING YA LBURLS!!
    BACK! BACK! BACK OFF!!
    I'M A REAL RAYGUN REPUGLIKUNT!!
BACK! BACK! BACK OFF YOU LBRULS!!"

Let me enlighten you about the fate of crawfish (the proper Cajun spelling).

They furiously scurry backwards into the nets and are boiled alive for our pleasure.

There are several ways to eat them.

    1. Peel the tail and eat it. The consummate wimp way.

    2. Peel the tail, eat it and suck the head. A tad better.

    3. Peel the tail and eat it, then crush and suck the head. You're moving on up.

    4. Peel the tail and scoop the fat from the head with your thumb then suck the head. Still not there yet.

    5. Peel the tail and eat it, then scoop the fat with your thumb, crush the head with your teeth and suck it.

And that is the sad fate for millions of crawfish, much to my pleasure,

Is there any wonder that I look at some of you as crawfish?

    Bon appetit,

    Grammie

    Tasty BUSHWIPE crawfish?

    Yucky crawling bottom feeders?

    Heck.
Them BUSHWIPE CRAWFISH taste like freedumbs when wrapped in the flag and dipped in Raygun's diaper's sauce.

    Yuuuuummmmy.
I can taste Freedums sprayin' across the M.E.!!

    --
    Waiter!

Let me have a triple order of Raygun's diaper sauce to dip my Bushwipe in.

Uhmmmm... failed Bushwipe covered by 3 layers of Raygun's diaper sauce....
    Finally! it tastes like freedumbs!!

Of COURSE you'll remember that one Jeff! ... Because All you ever do is parrot the lines of other folks.

Lie #2 of the day and it's still early! He's jealous because he couldn't come up with an original post or comment if his life depended on it. Stay tuned for lie #3, it won't be long....

"There are several ways to eat them"

Grammie, reminds me of a New Orleans t-shirt I saw with a big crwfish on it and the words... "Shuck me, Suck me, Eat me raw!"

patty, how do you type with a straight jacket on? With your beak? Or, does Nurse Ratched type for you?

Grammie I usually don't respond to you because I respect the very aged however wrong they, are and there is no reason to unsettle them unneccessarily. But "Peel the tail?" I don't think so. It's pinch the tail. You break them in two, pinch the tail and the meat pops out of that side, then you suck on the other side. "Pincha da tails, sucka da heads." There really is no other way, whether it fits your rhetorical ad-hominem or not. Peel the tail? That is simply crazy talk.

Grammie, anyone this desiring of being goosed, probably needs to be thrown back into the water.

hey bob, what happened to 'Gone by Monday" in regards to Gonzales? That was about 6 Mondays ago........That's what happens when you get your "news" from the puffington post.

It appears that Jeff has finally figured out that I was not the one who predicting Gonzales "would be gone by Monday", after his having accused me of doing so at least three times.

What I'm not clear about Jeff, is why you would take any pride whatsoever in yet another one of Bush's incompetent political hacks hanging on by his chinny chin chin again, but as before, you continue to defy rational logic.

The same reason you take pride in the statement "the war is lost."

    >Grammie I usually don't respond to you because I respect the very aged however wrong they, are and there is no reason to unsettle them unneccessarily.

    Unsettle them unneccessarily?

    That's classic.

I haven't laughed so hard since last week.

Jeff, child, I don't take pride at all in saying "the war is lost." because thats not at all what I believe.

I don't say that Jeff, for good reason. Our military WON the war, and then our incompetent political hacks lost the ensuing 'peace'.

    Get the difference....child?

Our military lost nothing. Our military did it's job admirably.

After they admirably won the invasion and the initial occupation, we then asked them to do something a military should never be asked to do...and with not nearly enough troops to boot. This was AFTER the political hacks stupidly lost the hearts and minds of the people with a series of monumental blunders. Winning the hearts and minds of the people was the ONLY way we could ever have ever tranformed this alien society into a nation friendly to our own interests. That cat is out of the bag and he ain't about get back in it.

Your Neocon heros are the ones who stupidly decided to define 'losing' as a failure to achieve Democracy, or at the very least an ally that would stand up to Iran. Now we are forced to live with that impossible declaration.

I'm pretty sure that everything I just said went completely over your head, but hey...old habits die hard.

I know, Jeff, I know....you still think all it would take was a few MOAB's, but that's because you are nothing but an overgrown child.

No Olbermann again tonight on Countdown. Could be having a meltdown preparing for the debates on Thursday.

Well, VOK, no one can be an expert on everything, not even someone who has as exaggerated a sense of their own intellectual prowess as you.

"Grammie I usually don't respond to you because I respect the very aged however wrong they, are and there is no reason to unsettle them unneccessarily.
Posted by: VOK at April 24, 2007 1:56 PM "

It is true that one pinches the tail at the base, while holding the tail to one's mouth to catch the morsel. But that step is number three.

After separating the tail from, for complete accuracy the body that culminates in the head, is when one then peels the first two or three segments of the segmented tail by grasping the cilia like attachments and the end of the very hard largest tail segment, that has a smaller inner band that prevents the tail from being pinched out through a smaller opening than the tail meat's diameter.

After that is done is the point at which one pinches the tail at its base in the area of the multi part shell swimmers and the tail pops out from the thrust applied

If you don't peel the first few segments away the pinching does not work. The tail meat is crushed against the inner band and is fairly well pulverized, at which point the peeling is no longer effective to achieve the objective.

BTW, it is 'pinch da tails' and 'suck da heads, not 'pincha' and 'sucka'.

Is there any nitpicking that you won't stoop to?

    Grammie

    Serious question.

Will we ( United States ) ever win another war? Will we ever be allowed to fight a war in a manner that would allow us to win, thoroughly destroying the enemy and being able to accept so-called "collateral damage"?

I contend that if we didn't fight so carefully, that in Iraq, for example, there would have been massive casualties early, but the order that would follow would make future casualties a rare occurrence.

The threshold for going to war should be much higher, but when we go, we go without any hands tied behind our backs. I think our military would certainly be safer and I think actual casualties would be much lower instead of this drip, drip, drip of casualties over many years.

    Just an opinion

He's on the phone with Georgey Sorass, getting his questions fed to him. We all know Keefy couldn't actually come up with a rational question himself.

    Serious question:

Why are we here at Olbermann Watch? He clearly has won. He is the best (according to all the MSM media, except the NYPost & New York Magazine). He's making big bucks, he is engaged to a hot 23 year old babe, gets to collect expensive baseball cards. HE HAS WON PEOPLE! THE PENDULUM IS SWINGING BACK TO THE LEFT!

Crash, are you the same 'Crash' who posted a few days ago?

The reason I ask is that I really don't find much at all to disagree with regarding your 4:11 PM post.

Crash, I could be in complete agreement if you would flesh out the 'the threshold for war should be much higher" part of your post.

To my mind, the decade long parade of Dems and Repubs all publicly and forcefully declaring Iraq to be the biggest threat to civilization due to WMD, the complete agreement of every intelligence agency from western democracies, to the Russian states (former Soviet Union) to Israel, Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq's own high level officials being absolutely certain that they had biological WMD and were on the verge of atomic weapons meets that hurdle.

I will go a step forward and say that any government who failed to act on such information, even though it has been pretty well substantiated that EVERYONE was wrong, would be irresponsible in light of the world we live in today.

    Grammie

    Yep same Crash Mike.

    You're still a pussy.

I don't necessarily disagree with you Janet, but had we done it right in the first Gulf War, we wouldn't even be debating this time through.

Crash: Yep, same old Crash! You just couldn't stand the thought of being in agreement with someone left of center could you? You just couldn't stand the thought that you might have helped to create a small amount of civility on this board, could you...you jerk!

Funny, I just can't even remember the last time, if ever, someone has called me a 'pussy' to my face. So, why does this kind of neanderthal like false bravado seem to happen so often on this virtually ononymous discussion board?

Hey Mikey. I'd be happy to give you my address pay for your plane ticket, if necessary, get a cab to my front door so I could then open said door and call you a pussy to your face. I can be reached at crash@gof---yourself.com.

Crash, you made the point perfectly. Chubby Hubby and I were such soul mates that we virtually never disagreed on matters of true importance. In everything else, our marriage contract had in very, very fine print that Janet is always right.

The decision to end Gulf War One the way we did was one of those rare moments.

Chubby Hubby was incensed because he believed that the future would be much darker for our kids and grandkids because of the colossal mistake we made at a crucial moment.

I believed that once we met the objective or to pigeon hole it, the Colin Powell view, it was right that we back off. Chubby Hubby was absolutely right on that one.

Missed opportunities might be the one of the bitterest medicines to swallow.

    Serious Answer:

Our hands aren't tied behind our backs because of some conscious decision our government has made. Our hands are tied behind our backs because of the nature of our enemy.

We aren't fighting a state. We're fighting a cause, an ideology, and to a large degree, a religion... An enemy that is prepared to fight us in every corner of the world, not just the middle east.

Turning Iraq (or any other middle eastern country) to glass will not accomplish any of the 'reasons' that have been unveiled in a series of reconsiderations like the continual opening of still smaller chinese boxes.

We can devastate a country's military, but we have a hard time winning the hearts of it's people. That 'collateral damage' you speak of is the very thing that makes it difficult to accomplish the latter. What kind of country would we be if our reason to invade Iraq was to 'overthrow an evil dictator' and then we turn around and kill those he oppressed?

    >I contend that if we didn't fight so carefully, that in Iraq, for example, there would have been massive casualties early, but the order that would follow would make future casualties a rare occurrence.

According to our own government, a great amount of the 'enemy' we are fighting in Iraq weren't even there 'early' in the conflict.

If a majority of the Iraqi people wanted the same thing we want for them, and were willing to put aside their religious differences to fight for it, we would have already left by now.

    >The threshold for going to war should be much higher...

Couldn't agree more. Afghanistan-right war, right time. Iraq-not even close.

Missed opportunities might be the one of the bitterest medicines to swallow.

I know you think I'm a mean son and/or daughter of a bitch Cecelia, but I'm really only having fun.

Besides, THAT is the tone of this website that Bob has made, self-righteous mean-spiritedness, with a dash of ironic humor. (Hello...fake quotes from dead people.)

When someone wants to actually debate, I debate. When someone just wants to fling insults, I'll do that too...I'm flexible.

But I've got a smile on my face the whole time...

The biggest mistake one can make here at OW is to take it all too seriously...

I just listened to the update re KO's attempt to paint the normal procedures of the military, and by any reasonable extension GWB, about the lock down re the heroic Pat Tillman's death in Afghanistan until his family had been notified as somehow shameful and nefarious.

I have had a very personal experience in my life with an analogous situation.

My Mom played poker up to five or six times a week with her girl friends, most of whom knew each other from the flapper era, until the late nineties.

My Mom and one of her friends both had grandsons who played varsity basketball for the same school in the early eighties. We were at a basketball tournament when my Mom's lifetime friend's daughter suddenly dropped dead from a massive heart attack while her son, who was on the bench at the time, looked on.

It was one of the worst moments in my life. I didn't remember whose house the game was at, so I called my Dad as soon as possible to let him know what had happened and my concern that someone should be prepared for what was inevitable, that M's family might come by to let her know what had happened.

My Dad called the hostess, who happened to be a retired nurse, to warn her. She assembled what she could to help her friend and went on as if she didn't know what had happened for hours. A 'Steel Magnolia' at its finest.

Her family had decided to tell her when she got home and let her enjoy a few more hours of a happy life.

But M always went straight from the card game to the 5:30 Mass on Saturday. Someone notified the priest, who made a special mention of the death and the circumstances surrounding it.

And that is how this woman learned of the premature and totally unexpected death of her beloved daughter.

It takes a callous and devious mind to find evil where normal human compassion is the driving force.

Deadly Serious? Give me a break little miss 'I've been here since the inception...' You take this site SO seriously and SO personally, you're hardly impartial enough to gauge others' level of 'seriousness.' It's all 'deadly serious' to you.

'Deadly' and 'Serious' are the last two words I think of when the page loads and I see a caricature of Keith in a bathtub, a quote from Marquis de Sade, a limerick from Katie Turic, and a post from you, brandon, jeff, or grammie.

What's to take serious? This is the kind of place I can kick off my shoes and put my feet up on the coffee table. I know that makes you uncomfortable, but you can get over yourself.

Like I told Brandon, I come here for the same reason people used to go to the circus. To amuse myself at the expense of fools. The difference? At the circus the fools knew they were being fools.

So you can go on thinking I'm a woman. You can go on thinking I'm a liberal. You can go on thinking I take any of this serious.

And you'd be wrong. But what else is new?

And I'm not sure what you think I have against Bob. He's complimented my posts. At least he has a sense of humor.

...And how could he not, you HAVE seen his picture, right?

Actually, come to think of it, I don't even think Bob takes this site as seriously as you Cecelia.

    Yep. Daddy Bob issues.

Actually LMAO, we don't think much about you period. You're the typical Olbyloon. Anyone who thinks that Olbermann is the end all and be all, the Edward R. Murrow of his generation, well, that just speaks for itself. And no one is a bigger clown that you.

Brandon to LMAO: "Anyone who thinks that Olbermann is the end all and be all, the Edward R. Murrow of his generation"

So this remains the silly thought process of the 'Brandons' of this site....to continue to assume LMAO is an 'Olbyloon'...even though he has repeatedly identified himself as a conservative, has yet to offer up any actual defense for Keith Olbermann's actions or words, and the sum total theme of all of LMAO's posts have been to lampoon people on this site who remain obsessed with trashing a controversial cable TV newscaster who has only average ratings.

In addition, if you were to go back and look at the archives, you would be really hard hard pressed to find any recent posters on this site who actually "thinks that Olbermann is the end all and be all, the Edward R. Murrow of his generation", yet I guess it makes Brandon feel superior to continue to think otherwise.

Brandon, does continuing to delude yourself like this give you a reason to live?...Does it give you a purpose in life?

Brandon's three luxury cars, his gated community, and waiting golf course just isn't enough to feed his massive ego....he is driven to appear on this board every day calling other folks 'loons', EVEN when he has to put thoughts and words into their mouths that were never actually thought or written to justify his nonsense.

If Brandon REALLY wants to see what an obsessed 'loon' looks like...he really should just turn around and look at himself in one of his guilded mirrors.

Brandon is the perfect personification of this site. Please keep posting Brandon, so I can continue to laugh my ass off as well!

I picture primitive Brandon sitting in his thatch hut in his loin cloth spending all his time sharpening his 'olbyloon' spear.

Doesn't matter who comes knocking on his door or why they are there, they all get the 'olbyloon' spear.

C'mon Brandon, put down the spear, open your eyes, and come out of your hut. Oh yeah, I forgot, remove the context of hating Olbermann and suddenly you really don't know what you think or feel about anything. A savage without a cause.

Sadly, Olbermann defines you. Your identity is created by the counter space that Olbermann leaves behind.

(...And yes, Grammie, I'm still Laughing My Ass Off, basking in the fact that I'm NOT Brandon)

Sure you're a conservative LMAO. You wouldn't be here putting up the passionate defenses of Olbermann and of the liberal party if you were a Conservative. So we've already established you're a liar. Your failure to grasp even the simplest of posts also reveals you to be something of a useful idiot as well. You still don't get that you're the joke that we're all laughing our asses off at. But hey, at least you provide endless amusement for us as we continue to get a revealing insight into the lack of intelligence in the average Olbyloon brain. Did you really think that posing as a male "conservative" would work here? Sorry, we've had years of experience in dealing with the Olbyloons and not only do we know what you are, in many cases, we know exactly WHO you are.

"EVEN when he has to put thoughts and words into their mouths that were never actually thought or written to justify his nonsense." Mikey's hypocritical post #1 of the day. This exact quote from him is something he does on a regular basis! Yet, he's criticizing Brandon for doing it. Stay tuned, there will be more, rest assured....

    >Sure you're a conservative LMAO.

I've described myself as conservative leaning. I'm conservative on some issues and liberal on others. But hey, if Black and White is all you can see, I pity you.

    >You wouldn't be here putting up the passionate defenses of Olbermann and of the liberal party if you were a Conservative.

Right, I wouldn't. That's why I haven't, and that's why you haven't provided any. Still waiting on you on that one.

    >So we've already established you're a liar.

'We' have? Are you the captain of your team? If so, no wonder you guys are losing. At least when I call someone a liar, I provide evidence. Where's yours?

Wow, if more olbyloons were like me, I guess your work here would be done.

For someone who thinks Olbermann should have contrary opinions on his show, you sure are hypocritically intolerant of contrary opinions of your website.

Need proof? Any one of your posts should suffice.

Yes, Grammie, I'm Still Laughing My Ass Off at Brandon wishing I had a liberal vagina.

Funny I should make a post at 6:12 PM that actually has some substance to it (the war, remember that?), but not a single person on this site touches it.

If you want to find out more about my politics, Brandon, how about actually debating me about something instead of just insisting I'm a liberal and that you are laughing more than me?

Oh yeah, I forgot, you can't have a complete thought unless it ends with 'Olbyloon.' Go outside your 'gate guarded' community sometime Brandon. You might find that there's a whole world out there filled with people that neither hate nor love Keith Olbermann.

Laughing My Ass Off at the fact that Brandon has Keith's face painted on the inside of his sun glasses.

"If you don't peel the first few segments away the pinching does not work."

That is not my experience. Provided the crawfish has been divided at the correct point, I guess, the tail meat is accessible via pinch alone. Perhaps this method wastes some meat further towards the head because you are technically breaking too far back, I don't know, but it didn't seem to to me.

I do know that I have attended around 10 large crawfish boil parties within NO and I did not notice anyone-- who wasn't completely new-- "peeling" anything. It is a very rapid three-step motion in my mind. Break, pinch, suck. In any event, to not mention pinching at all seems to me to be one of the most egregious errors you have made here. I think you need to take responsibility for your error and issue an apology or seek medical attention or both.

"You might find that there's a whole world out there filled with people that neither hate nor love Keith Olbermann."

WHAT?@?@! You mean there are others like me? LMAO, we, who are about to waste even more time here, salute you.

Grammie, while I appreciate you trying to bring personal insight and perspective to the Tillman tragedy, I strongly recommend you inform yourself by other means besides Countdown and/or this website.

Pat Tillman's family was initially misled by the Pentagon and did not learn the truth about their son for over a month. In addition, Tillman was awarded a Silver Star based on fabricated accounts of what happened to him.

So unless your mom's friends kept up the 'Steel Magnolia' act for a month while making up stories about how your mom's friend's daughter died because how she died would make them look bad, I think calling your comparison a 'stretch' is an understatement.

It takes a callous and devious mind to try to spin such analogies in an effort to smear someone who's politics you disagree with.

You, in one post, have brought shame to yourself for using both deaths to promote your own political views.

    Congratulations. Vodka anyone?

LMAO, what is really funny is to read Brandon's silly characterizations of you, such as:

    1) - "Your failure to grasp the simplist of posts": Now THIS is really funny, coming from this simpleton, as almost any one of his ridiculous posts will confirm.

    2) - Calling LMAO a "useful idiot": This nonsense coming from Bob and Johnny's most useful idiot of all....LOL

    3) - Brandon calls somebody else a 'liar': "So we've already established you're a liar": Kind of like the same way he has 'established' just about everybody else is a 'liar' who doesn't fit his beloved 'Olbyloon' stereotype. He even called me a 'liar' about my being a veteran, because Brandon is convinced a veteran just wouldn't say the things I have said.

    4) - Once again referencing your fictional "passionate defenses of Olbermann and the rest of the liberal party": This is really funny! I have yet to read one single post in which you 'defended' Olbermann, passionately or otherwise."

    5) - Brandon sez "you don't get that you're the joke that we're all laughing our asses off at": Another really funny one...I would say that most of us are laughing WITH LMAO, not at him. The exceptions would be the real dimwits on this site, like maybe Brandon and Jeff....and most of us are laughing AT them.

Keep posting LMAO, I really enjoy your stuff....and I hardly think I'm alone.

LMAO to Janet: "You in one post, have brought shame to yourself for using both deaths to promote your own political views."

    OH NOOOO LMAO!!

It sounds like you MAY have just questioned Janet's 'humanity'...the firestorm is coming! Either that or maybe she's off pouting somewhere.

I questioned her 'humanity' once....at her own insistance....and you'd have thought I had just raped her sister, judging from her highly animated reaction.

Also concerning Janets little story you referenced, if that really was "one of the worst moments" of her life, she's had one hell of a lot easier life than most of us have.

No wonder she's so flippant about the war, her leader's continued incompetance, and the mounting casualties.

lil mikey=injecting, only he is allowed to do that since he makes the rules while breaking every single one of them over and over. (hypocrite).

    lil mikey, the BIG man.

    Thanks Mike.

Yeah, that Grammie...She's an anachronistic piece of work, isn't she?

I've got an old dusty violin I play every once in a while...I was considering naming it Grammie.

But, Cecelia...she's my favorite. When she responds immediately to a post I make, I know she's angry. But when she doesn't respond at all, I know she's just mind-blowingly pissed. I've even started letting her have the last word, just to illustrate to her just how much less serious I take this website than she does. Everyone knows how serious someone is when they HAVE to have the last word.

Brandon's hardly worth mentioning. I wish it was more fun mocking him, but I actually sort of feel sorry for him. I'd put Jeff in that same class. They'd be funnier if they weren't actually real people. Instead, it's just kind of sad.

I used to be a Republican, but now I'm a registered Independent (basically a Libertarian). I like Maher, Scarborough, Dobbs. I even sort of like Geraldo & O'Reilly in small doses.

Although I am no fan of Olbermann the person, I think Countdown does do a service taking on the Bush administration.

The neocons have done more damage to the GOP than any left-leaning liberal democrat ever will.

I have ZERO patience for ignorance, incompetence, and hypocrisy which is why I cheerfully mock Bush, his apologists, and by extension, this website.

But, as I've said before, I would never want this website to change or go away. But having said that, if it did, I wouldn't lose any sleep either.

I might be down a chuckle or two, but I'd get over it.

Speaking of a chuckle or two, I'd like to leave everyone with a fresh quote from Brandon:

    >You've once again missed the big point here and the primary source of my mith.

    Great Thanks for that Brandon.

    Still Laughing My Ass Off!

Then by all means, you shall have one...I love knowing you've been adjusting your behavior in certain ways in order to illustrate things for me. :D

Where does having to have the FIRST word fit in your scenario of "seriousness?" I think you are serious lunatic, davey.

Are you people joking? The video is obviously spliced and omits the segment where Reickhoff makes the distinction between normal procedure and the abnormalities of Tillman's case.

Why do this? Why perpetuate disinformation?

In Germany, they ask "why is the banana crooked." In America, we ask why the sky is blue. Here in OWwieland, we ask why do OWwies perpetuate disinformation.

Because they do. Because they can. Because it beats actually trying to have a discussion about something.
