The worst part about Keith is that he bashed Cooper when he was reporting from Iraq. Mocking a reporters butlletproof vest is really classy. "...looking somberly at these scenes of human devastation - like a tourist - and that's your report." Cooper was looking like a journalist, not an a--hole that hands out a check before an interview.

Not only that, but Olby claimed Cooper had a custom-made bulletproof vest in blue to match his eyes. Olby was silent when people at NBC were spotted in an identically blue vest. Olbypocrisy knows no bounds.

Olbermann couldn't be bothered to go to the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina. He wasn't standing there in front of dead bodies in the street being eaten by rats like Coop was.

Well, he could talk about his "perceived rivals" without having to pressure them into sharing something they obviously don't wish to share. The fact that Cooper is a "rival" it's not an MSNBC or NBC employee that Olbermann is making his case about, speaks volumes about Olbermann's opportunism and of his nature in general.

What better place to see that than in his dealings with colleagues in a business he claims to have esteemed since childhood.

Maybe if he spent less time on his butt in the studio and more time in the field, or more correctly, any time in the field, he'd have a new appreciation for the work that Anderson Cooper does. I don't think he's the best anchor in the world, I'm not even convinced he should be an anchor, but at least he's willing to leave the studio to go out and really cover the stories, and he's able to deliver them in an unbiased way.
