Olbermann Watch, "persecuting" Keith since 2004

    April 17, 2007
Keith Olbermann Link Roundup April 17, 2007

    Know Something About Kieth Olbermann?
    Graphic Truth

This link [to OlbermannWatch] was advertised to me via google promising to "Expose Olbermann's lies." As I expected, this was a usage of the term, "lie," that I was previously unfamiliar with. A "lie" in this usage seems to be a truth that makes you want to stick your fingers in your ears and chant "la la la la I can't HEAR you!" I see this as symptomatic of the sad, impotent and pathetic devolution of the right-wing blogosphere, that this blog gets enough eyeballs to justify a google Adwords account. They don't take just ANYONE, you know.

NBC is doing the same show with five — six if you count Peter King. And one of them is going to be saying idiot things like “Tom Coughlin has a weaker grip on his job than Al Gonzales,” and “LaDanian Tomlinson’s three fumbles was the worst decision-making since Don Rumsfeld was fired.” And Olbermann’s going to get hives every time Reggie Bush touches the ball. You watch.

LOL!: "I see this as symptomatic of the sad, impotent and pathetic devolution of the right-wing blogosphere,"

You know what I see as symptomatic of the sad, impotent, and pathetic devolution of the LEFT-wing blogosphere? They can't even spell Olbermann's first name correctly while trying to defend him. Kieth? How hard is it to spell K-E-I-T-H?

Levin was one of the Republican right's chief talking heads during the Clinton impeachment, especially on MSNBC, where I was working at the time. One of my jobs at the Web site entailed downloading video from our cable shows and putting them up on the site. Levin was on. A lot.

Levin is George Costanza with an endless vicious streak. He's the embodiment of shrillness. He scowls, he sneers, he yells, he bugs his eyes out, his face turns red, he interrupts incessantly, and he makes the nastiest comments imaginable. Most of all, he exudes a simmering but deep-seated hatefulness. If he were a dog, he'd be an ugly poodle-chihuahua mix in a perpetual roid rage. It's hard to imagine anyone more repellent.

And as someone who was tracking what was said on TV and comparing it to the published facts, it was also clear that he was a congenital liar. He had no compunction whatsoever about repeating any kind of falsehood on the air if it would hurt Clinton and advance the cause of impeachment. This included, of course, a lot of nasty personal insinuations about the Clintons' private lives.

Nowadays, as SourceWatch explains, he's the head of Rush Limbaugh's "legal division" (whatever that is). But he also has a history: He was former Attorney General Edwin Meese's chief of staff, and was Meese's attorney during the Iran-Contra investigation.

He was also closely attached with Ted Olson during the 1990s. And as Meese's chief of staff, he also was directly involved in the machinations that got Olson and Edward Schmults off the legal hook regarding their misleading and likely perjurious testimony before Congress.

Nowadays, he even has a fan Web site. And of course, now that a Republican holds the presidency, he finds the opposition to President Bush "far more shrill" than he can remember. I spent a week chortling to myself about that one.

And more recently, he's been busy leading the right-wing attack on the judiciary, even publishing a book with a title (Men in Black Robes) that echoed similar titles from the extreme-right Posse Comitatus folks. Obviously, Sandra Day O'Connor is not one of his fans.

Baldwin got a taste for how viscerally nasty guys like Levin, and so many of these right-wing figures -- including Hannity -- really are. And I bet if he hung around Bill O'Reilly long enough, he'd start to see that side of him as well.

O'liar, house that glass house you live in? I wouldn't say you fall in the "nice guy" category, yourself. I see a lot of hate in most of your posts. Mark Levin, he is The Great One, you know......

O'Lielly is probably a "researcher" Keith show. He is the one who gets Keith's talking point from Media Matters and the other Soros funded blogs. O'Lielly is just un-happy that Tammy Bruce the former President of the LA chapter of NOW outted MSDNC as getting their stories from far left organizations like Move On and NOW. She admitted that she fed stories to people like Olbermann and the New York times and they ran with them without checking the facts. MSDNC and the other Dinosaur media has been outted as propaganda.

    O'leily,
You don't like Levin because he ripped up Keithy boy after he was named worst person in the world by the obnoxious one. You and you idol know how to smear but wet their undies when someone gives it back to them. Noticed Olbermann never has mentioned Levin again since he was torn apart by him. What a man.

Wasn't Mark Levin the one talking about Keith Olbermann's"dick size"?

Anyone who would consider him a "Great one" after he did something THAT juvenile would have to be just another juvenile...like Jeff!

You mean like Olbermann's constant referrals to Limbaugh and his (alleged) possession of Viagra? Yeah, I agree, Olbermann is juvenile.

This coming from someone who gets off on calling women posters that hand him his ass on a platter on a regular basis "bitches."

lil mikey is obviously still very upset at Mark for saying all that terrible stuff about his role model and hero. Get over it, mikey.

Jef, you obviously still have a reading problem...Cecelia didn't hand me my "ass on a platter" at all. On the contrary, she got angry and called me a 'liar' out of the blue after I handed her ass back to her. Only then did I call her that.... for good reason.

I wouldn't have expected you to understand though...cowboy.

As for Levin...admire someone who spews out elementary school crap like 'dick size' if you want, but I'd rather run with the adults....cowboy!

Yes, Olbermann is so much better. He only calls women sluts, broads, and refers to someone else's "fat ass" when he has one of his own. It's all clear to us now Mikey. Olbermann is perfect and can do no wrong and even when he uses the same tactics as others, he's still right in the mind of your average Olbyloon. But thanks for repeatedly demonstrating the inner-working of the Olbyloon brain (even if it's empty) to us here on Olbermannwatch on a daily basis.

I think Mike and Jeff should just blow each other and stop the latent homosexual overtures their making at each other, and then maybe their girly bickering would stop.

Question: For last night's cable news ratings, since Wolf and Paula each hosted in different segments during the 8 p.m. hour, does that mean Olby finished fourth (by a mile) or third (by another mile) in demo and total? I guess this is a dilemma that one of the most powerful and important TV news hosts must ponder.

Read 'em and weep, Magnificent Olbywan.

    http://insidecable.blogsome.com/2007/04/17/mondays-numbers-51/#more-5609

Brandon spew again: I think you're saying I think "Olbermann is perfect and can do no wrong".

    And YOU call US loons!

No Brandon, I never said or even implied "Olbermann is perfect and can do no wrong".

Where DO you people keep coming up with crap like that?

Anon 7:52: Sorry you see this as 'bickering', although I can see where it could possibly look like that from your vantage point.

I just like picking at Jeff. I wouldn't bother with it otherwise.

Another lie to add to the list! You were an argumentative prick long before I started to post here. I was a regular reader of this blog for months before I started to post. One night after reading more of your bs I decided I had to jump in, I couldn't just sit back and watch you spin, spin, divert and blame. Should I go back in the archives and prove you wrong again? Long before I was here?

No Brandon, I never said or even implied "Olbermann is perfect and can do no wrong".

Where DO you people keep coming up with crap like that?

Posted by: Mike at April 17, 2007 8:38 PM
All one has to do is read any of your posts. They clearly imply just that.

Mike tries again and again to distinguish himself from being an Olbypologist but that's exactly what he is as every post he makes clearly indicates.

Jeff: "you were an argumentive prick long before I started to post here".

Not getting mad are we Jeff? You brought out the 'P' word again, and that can only mean one thing....LOL

Actually Jeff, when you started to troll here, you screwed up the entire board. A lot of the regulars who actually did like to do real debate have left...and I believe it is mostly because of YOU!

There USED to be real give and take arguments in which we could address each other's points without a troll like you butting in on every thread with uninformed partisan bullsh-t. Thats all gone now...probably forever....thanks Jeff!

As for the archives Jeff, I've PROVEN you to be a damned liar several times, and you just ignor all of that and blissfully trudge along as if nothing had been said at all.

In fact, Jeff, just tonight, you're STILL refusing to address the lie you told tonight when you made a "Bush put the gun in his hand" quote.

Whenever you are PROVEN to be a liar, you just ignor the whole point and go on.

I think I know why you are a pathological liar Jeff, You believe EVERYBODY is a liar, and therefore it is perfectly OK if you do it to! Yo you, it's not about the lie at all...it's about not getting caught.

    That's where you're wrong Jeff...everybody is not a liar.

"Mike tries again and again to distinguish himself from being an Olbypologist but that's exactly what he is as every post he makes clearly indicates. "

Brandon, I thought you were told to try thinking. This is not an acceptable effort.

"All one has to do is read any of your posts. They clearly imply just that"

Well they would also require that you comprehend the reading as well. So far you have not demonstrated you can do that.

Jeff, let me give you another example of your ignorant trolling from just a few days ago:

I made a post about Wolfowitz imploring his very large role in the run up to the Iraq war. EVERYONE knows this who knows ANYTHING....Jeff!

What did YOU do Jeff?....You made one of the most ignorant posts that has EVER been put on this board....exposing your total ignorance about one of the men MOST involved in getting us into this war. If you didn't know anything about Wolfowitz, you COULD have just kept quiet....but NOOOO....not YOU, Jeff!

SEVERAL posters other than myself tried to get you to address and debate your statement, but you ignored everybody and just kept right on trolling, using your signature blissfull ignorance that everyone has come to expect from you.

Like I said before Jeff, no one could even make up a character like you. Truth is stranger than fiction.

Ignorant trolling? Nah, that's what Olbyloons do, not clear thinkers.

"Ignorant trolling? Nah, that's what Olbyloons do, not clear thinkers."

I love this guy! With logical skills of this caliber, I would say his day job is that of a high tech waiter at Denny's or perhaps a custodial engineer.

    Great thanks Brandon:

All you seem capable of doing is call others 'olbyloons'. Making a reasoned argument is apparently beyond your capacity.

Does telling yourself you are a "clear thinker" make you feel smarter?

Jeff's gone quiet. I bet he's going through the archives trying to cherry pick something he THINKS will make me look bad.....LOL

lil mikey, I have 50 horses and 100+ cows that I had to feed, you know, work, something you would no nothing about, living off of the gov't and all.

Are you trying to say you WEREN'T an argumentative prick before I started posting here? I sure hope not...it wouldn't surprise me, though, seeing as you lie left and right. Like Brandon and Johnny have already said and I have said, you can prove an olbyloon wrong time and time again, all they do act like it never happened. Just like your hero Ulbermahn, how many lies in a week? You guys act like it never happens, even defend him, hopelessly.

What was this "ignorant" post? You make claims with no evidence, again. Typical liar.

I'm very sorry to see you are posting comments from an anti-American free speech hating site. Specifically, this one:
    http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/
These Zionist bastards drove this guy off the internet simply for supporting Palestinian rights in the face of Israeli terrorism.

    http://www.wakeupfromyourslumber.com/node/1237

    Richard,

I was not aware that a blog could drive someone off the Internet. That must be some POWERFUL blog.

Let's suspend disbelief for a moment to suppose that what you claim were the case - your solution is LESS speech?

Let me guess...you are an OlbyLoon.

    My Dear Brandon:

"You know what I see as symptomatic of the sad, impotent, and pathetic devolution of the LEFT-wing blogosphere? They can't even spell Olbermann's first name correctly while trying to defend him. Kieth? How hard is it to spell K-E-I-T-H?"

Not terribly, and yet somehow, I overlooked it, as I am wont to do.

I find that it's a good thing to allow openings for debate in my posts, but up until now, I had not realized that misspellings were the "hook" wingers needed.

So, just for you, I shall leave the spelling as it is. Now, have you more to say, or have you shot your bolt?

bob king, interesting (or not) take on the fact you think the gov't targets conservatives to join the military. Do you read anything besides far left blogs and watch Ulbermahn? The left wing campuses are constantly blocking and trying to ban the military from coming on their campuses to promote enlisting. Your little red state/blue state theory won't fly.

ACtually, I believe I got that factoid from Lt. Col. KAREN KWIATKOWSKI (caps due to cut and paste - there's no way I could spell that) via Military Week, and I beleive she stated that the military was moving it's recruitment to the south, not that norterners had kicked them out.

But I do suppose they'd prefer a few less kwiatkowskis in the ranks.

    Nice site!

Will Bush now attack Pakistan, since he has said anyone that helps terrorists is the enemy of the US ?

    Naaaaaaaaaaaa

Too inconvenient. Plus with a scandal a week at the White House, he's a little preoccupied with covering his rear end.

WASHINGTON — A major CIA effort launched last year to hunt down Osama bin Laden has produced no significant leads on his whereabouts, but has helped track an alarming increase in the movement of Al Qaeda operatives and money into Pakistan's tribal territories, according to senior U.S. intelligence officials familiar with the operation.

In one of the most troubling trends, U.S. officials said that Al Qaeda's command base in Pakistan is increasingly being funded by cash coming out of Iraq, where the terrorist network's operatives are raising substantial sums from donations to the anti-American insurgency as well as kidnappings of wealthy Iraqis and other criminal activity.

Let the bombs fly! Our "mentally ill" and "over zealous" troops are just waiting. Load the MOABS! The dems are powerless!

Royalnutcase still doesn't know that our troops are overextended and COULDN'T fight another war.
We don't even have enough National Guard in this country to handle emergencies.
They can't even keep the "green Zone" safe in Baghdad.
Maybe you can answer why hasn't Bush gotten Bin Laden, "dead or Alive" ?

It's mind boggling how you can be wrong every single time.

Keep brainwashing yourself with npr and cnn.

WASHINGTON -- The ranks of National Guard and Reserve troops on active duty for Iraq and the global fight against terror has fallen to just under 118,000, the lowest level since before the U.S. invasion of Iraq three years ago.

The reduction is a welcome trend for America's citizen-soldiers, who have been called to combat duty in numbers not seen in decades and who were further strained by last year's hurricane relief efforts on the Gulf Coast.

The driving reason for the drop, Pentagon officials say, is that more active-duty combat units like the Army's 4th Infantry Division are returning to Iraq after extensive reorganizations. Guard and Reserve units, the bulk of whom are in Iraq and Afghanistan, were filling more combat positions while the active-duty force was being reconfigured for the kinds of conflicts the Pentagon expects in the years ahead.

The Pentagon says the decline in Guard and Reserve call-ups also reflects that some troops whose specialties make them among the most frequently deployed have served their required time.

Your "article " is over a year old.
There has been a "surge " of troops into Iraq which has further depleted the National Guard. Maybe you may have heard of this "Surge ".

You don't have to go very far back. How about to May 7th, Kansas tornadoes to PROVE YOU WRONG AGAIN !

Iraq War Leaves Kansas Without Adequate Disaster Relief

During a tour of the town early Sunday evening, Gov. Kathleen Sebelius — who in December asked the Pentagon to replenish Kansas equipment left by the National Guard in Iraq — said the devastation in Greensburg shows why the state needs its equipment back.

“We’re missing about half of our trucks from the National Guard units,” Sebelius said. “Clearly trucks to haul this debris away would be enormously helpful. We are missing flatbeds. We are missing Humvees, which are used to get people to safety and security and to haul equipment around. We are missing a number of our well-trained National Guard personnel. The equipment that we continue to harp on that has been sent overseas when our troops are deployed and not restored at the same level could be enormously helpful.”

booby, it was from nov 06' try again. Post some more npr crap, ok?

I'd have to quit my job and stay at this site 24/7 to correct Royalscrewup every time he's wrong !

Not necessary Bob, he's wrong every time he posts...so there is no real need to correct every one of them.

Also, the National Guard Bureau has proposed initiatives to strengthen the Guard's homeland security capabilities. However, many of these initiatives are at an early stage and will require coordination and approval from other stakeholders, such as DOD and the states.

In the absence of clear homeland security requirements, the Guard's preparedness to perform missions at home "cannot be measured" to determine whether it needs additional assets or training.

Maybe the Governor of Kansas is WRONG.
Why don't you write to her and tell where all the missing equipment is.
    LMAO !
