Keith Olbermann's career schizophrenia continues. He's a Sports Guy. He's a News Guy. He's a Sports Guy (again). Oops, back to News. And guess what? Now he's back to Sports, according to Keith's personal PR flack aka TVNewser:
MSNBC host Keith Olbermann is returning to network sports after a six year absence as a co-host of NBC's Football Night in America.
"This will, obviously, be great fun and a great privilege for me," Olbermann says. "To be reunited with NBC Sports, and Dick, and the entire production team, produces all the warm-and-fuzzies you'd be expecting. And even if they weren't old friends and colleagues, to get to work with the nonpareil of sportscasters in Bob, and the most insightful and honest of sports analysts in Cris, will be rewarding and challenging. I hope I can hold up my end of the equation."
Hold up your end of the equation Keith? You mean like you did at ESPN, MSNBC (the first time), Fox Sports, CNN, and MSNBC the second time? That would be a first for you if so. . . . . .
It's like a bad dream but, Him on football will boost the ratings. Maybe MSNBC is going to try to make him into another Morton Downey JR. Oh I forgot, even Morton Downey Jr. could stand up to people.
The only thing is it doesn't matter how you try to prop up s**t , It still smells.
Hillary is bonding at Rutgers today. I wonder if Keith will show up? And if he does, will he bring up his er media matters 'why stop there shtick.'
NBC must have a very short memory or a very short list of people interested in this job. Keith refused to go to Athens for the Olympics fearing a terrorist attack. They had better hope there are no threats or our brave Keith will be reporting from his bathtub. Amazing that somebody who always refers to "so-called" terror plots refused to cover the biggest sport event on NBC that year.
I think its time for Olbermann Watch to shut down. Keith has clearly won. The media love fest is just too much.

Oh, NBC turned up the heat on Keith Anally. Bob and J$, you should begin a Meltdown clock to accompany the contract countdown clock.
From today's press release:
"...and another, based on his "Countdown Special Comments" will be published next winter."
Another RECAP book by Olbermann just in time for Christmas!
What exactly has Keith "won"? Win? Keith Olbermann. Hell, he's never beat O'Reilly in the ratings a single time. He's never managed to put together a solid week of coming in second, either in the overall ratings are the all-important "demo" ratings. Really Olbyloon, I think you've been mainlining the Kool-aid, not just sipping it.
And what's this? The News Hole (insert your own joke here) is linking to EROT and not that bastion of all things pro-Olbermann, home of the Olbyloon of all Olbyloons, Ko.org? Let the fan flame wars begin!
Collingsworth, Costas and Olbermann? It's the ultimate clash of blowhards.
NBC's Night of Football in the Americas for American Football or whatever is the Dobie Brothers band of sportscasts. What is there, like a 137 people co-hosting that program?
Maybe Olbermann can get an eye job like Costas. Yeah, that looks natural.
Wikipedia already updated with the NFL gig. Plus a new (2-year old, at least) photo. The Nazi salute picture has been removed. Revisionist history at its best!
Keith is winning the Popularity (in MSM) contest, which we all know is what really matters.
Listening to all of you really makes my day.
Of the three hosts, I definitely think Olby will throw the first ego-fueled tantrum. He's not accustomed to competing for attention on air or dealing with people who might disagree with him.

I'm so glad. We all are here to spread happiness and joy through the blogsophere.:)
RIGHT GUYS?
OH GUYS! RIGHT GUYS?

Jealous Much?
*eyeroll*
You guys are really reaching, you know that?
After listening to CBS NFL Today (as bland as a dry turkey sandwich on Wonder Bread) and FOX NFL Sunday (which must have been designed for people with ADHD), I have to give NBC credit for doing something different. Costas is one of the greatest sports personalities still active, Collinsworth is a major step above Marino, and Olbermann (despite whatever "failings" you see) has the sports chops to do the work.

This is Grammie trying to be funny, but really just exposing her clubhouse 'groupthink' mentality.
Truth is, Grammie can't even get through a short post without putting her ass, er I mean her 's' in the wrong place. "blogsophere"
Too Funny....(but not the way you intended!)
Picky, picky, picky!
Oh well, I'm glad at least you got a laugh out of it.

Post of the day:
Sorry to actually discuss politics instead of the high school shenanigans that Grammie, Cecilia and Jeff like to play....but....
Isn't it funny that the Republicans are calling for Gonzalez's scalp for ...
The same reasons KEITH OLBERMANN has mentioned( and of course , myself.)
When he talks about it...he's pathetic, a liar , unamerican etc....but when the Republicans agree and say the same things...not a frigging peep from the wingnuts.
If THAT'S not a condemnation of you losers, I don't know what is.
Since most of you are woefully uninformed and probably have no idea what I'm talking about...here's today's news :
CONSERVATIVES TO BUSH: FIRE GONZALEZ
Time- Monday, Apr. 16, 2007 By ADAM ZAGORIN/WASHINGTON
In what could prove an embarrassing new setback for embattled Attorney General Alberto Gonzales on the eve of his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, a group of influential conservatives and longtime Bush supporters has written a letter to the White House to call for his resignation.
Related
The Letter: "An Unsuitable Steward of the Law"
The two-page letter, written on stationery of the American Freedom Agenda, a recently formed body designed to promote conservative legal principles, is blunt. Addressed to both Bush and Gonzales, it goes well beyond the U.S. attorneys controversy and details other alleged failings by Gonzales. "Mr. Gonzales has presided over an unprecedented crippling of the Constitution's time-honored checks and balances," it declares. "He has brought rule of law into disrepute, and debased honesty as the coin of the realm." Alluding to ongoing scandal, it notes: "He has engendered the suspicion that partisan politics trumps evenhanded law enforcement in the Department of Justice."
The letter concludes by saying, "Attorney General Gonzales has proven an unsuitable steward of the law and should resign for the good of the country... The President should accept the resignation, and set a standard to which the wise and honest might repair in nominating a successor..." It is the first public demand by a group of conservatives for Gonzales' firing.
LET'S REPEAT THE CHARGES AGAIN since Gonzalez is doing "exactly what Grammie wants him to do."
What it boils down to is that the Bush White House has run roughshod over the basic tenets of the law and good judgement that even hardcore Republicans are beginning to notice, (but of course, not the Olbyhaters at this site)

Thanks , Bob, for actually bringing something topical( and on the money) to this site instead of the bullsh-t and nonsense that's been littering it for days now.
this site = bullsh-t and nonsense
Your post=bullsh-t, nonsense, and gross ignorance. Par for the course for your average Olbyloon however.
Maybe Brandon can answer why many Republicans are saying the EXact SAME THING ABOUT GONZALEZ that Keith has been saying, yet Brandon always calls Keith a liar.
OK, Brandy, spin this one !

Speaking for yourself or liberals and conservatives? Or are you referring to your own posts?
I've been scrolling through and found something remarkable and wondrous. Our KO fans have touted conservative Republicans as the last word in truth.
I am waiting with bated breath for all the mea culpas to follow from them recognizing all the times they have been in error by disagreeing with them.
Don't get your hopes up. I said 'bated' not holding my breath.

You guys are priceless. You guys should boycott Football Night in America. That would mean a few less dumb, ignorant Fox News viewers.
Your use of the term "schizophrenia" in this context is misleading and offensive. To discover the the real symptoms of this disorder, which affects one per cent of the population, go to:

There are many other useful sites you could use. Try google.

Yeah, you know, there's a good many terms that Olbermann uses that aren't correct either. Why don't you email him and let him know?
Brandon, was it you who said that you have read our little warm and fuzzy Mrs Adrian R Philby on some other sites.
If so, could you share?
