Olbyloon Voter Fraud: The Time 100 Poll

You know, I seem to remember that in the last two presidential elections that when their loss was revealed, the Dems screamed "Voter Fraud" at the top of their lungs. Why Olbermann was just soooo convinced there was voter fraud in Ohio that he talked about it for months! But what's this? His Olbyloon fanatical cult members are actually encouraging voter fraud?

It seems that Time Magazine is conducting an online poll where they ask their readers to rate the 100 Most Influential people of the year. And of course, the Olbyloons are determined that their idol, their King, their hero, their God, their imaginary boyfriend, should be ranked number one. One of his most fanatical worshippers, Kathy, has helpfully provided a link to Olbermann's profile along with instructions on how to vote multipe times for him.

Click on Kathy's link, Vote, close the page, click on the link again and Vote...That adds to the 'Total Vote'

Thanks Kathy, I just voted a few times for Olbermann myself. But not in the way you wanted!

The amusing part? Neither the DUmmies or the Keith Cultists could figure out how to rate someone. They assumed that if you gave someone a rating of number 1, it meant that you thought they were number one. So these idiots probably drove his ranking down lower by trying to commit voter fraud!

Hmm. Olbermann's been AWOL for the past two days. He's probably been sitting at home in that bathtub, repeatedly voting for himself.

So remember Clear Thinkers: Vote Early, Vote Often.

Ah! Comparing the theft of an American presidential election to a stupid internet poll...and you girls defended the theft...

Shows the priorities of these facists, eh folks?

It is the Olbyloons who are committing voter fraud to skewer the results of a "stupid internet poll". Says a lot about the priorities of the OLBYLOONS doesn't it?

Brandon misses the point; but, when democracy isn't a big priority for someone, it is easy to lose the forest in all those trees...

Yes, Blindrat, you are probably THE most aptly named poster here. You've once again missed the big point here and the primary source of my mith: the hypocrisy of the constant whining of the Loony Liberals when it comes to voter fraud and yet, promoting it at the same time. True, an internet poll is not the same as a presidential election but the hypocrisy remains.

I stumbled across this poll yesterday while reading NEWS, and Olbermann was #18 with about 850 votes, today he is #30 with 2100 votes. Too bad OW gave a heads up to the Loons on how to vote. (We all know they visit here).

assrat, if there had been voter fraud in either of the last 2 elections, investigations launched by the dems (costing millions of dollars) would have uncovered something, don't you think?

    Royalking,

The investigations uncovered quite a bit, son. You DO remember the civil suit, eh child?

And, it did prompt Florida to change its laws concerning voting ex-convicts, so that they couldn't throw ten thousand non-convicts off of the roles...

    Ouch! Truth hurts, eh boy?

Somebody from the blog came to mine, and called me out. So since someone here issued a challenge, and won't respond, I'll bring it to you....

    The_Wizard's response
I got called out a few days ago by the folks at OlbermannWatch because I used the word "slander". It went a little like this:

    "Anonymous said...

    Slandering?

Only an OlbyLoon would think fact-checking a fact-challenger journalist is "slander".I suppose tossing around terms like "slander" is actually less taxing than responding to our valid criticism. We document every post. Care to point out any specific examples of our publishing false information?

    Take your time.OlbermannWatch.com
    20/4/07 12:01 PM "

I have been challenged with the task of looking at "valid criticism". An IE error took away the post I had been working on as an answer, and I've been grading drafts. I apologize for the delay, but here is the new one...

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "fact-challenger", nor am I sure why I am the one having to defend Keith Olbermann, but I find it interesting that you claim to provide "valid criticism" and that you "document every post" and you have been doing this for years. Let's have a look at yesterday's, for a start, posted by someone called Johnny Dollar.

The only "documentation" you provide are links to RedState, Fox News, OlbermannWatch (twice), which support your claims because they are right wing, and to Media Matters, which you are evidentally suspicious of, yet use as a form of validation. The other links in this post are to an Olbermann Transcript for April 4th, as well as a link to Amazon so that your readers can buy O'Reilly's book. Moreover, you seem awfully concerned with how Olbermann's book is doing, and the ratings, which have absolutely nothing to do with the veracity of his claims. Additionally, in the links, the only independent links you provide are to papers who have run stories on Olbermann or to other posts on this blog. Like Ann Coulter or Ben Shapiro in their books, you ostensibly provide "support" for your claims, but these supports either link partisan blogs, or are so poorly documented, that it becomes difficult to corraborate the information you cite.

Here's a suspiciously lacking piece of documentation: The document itself. You are criticizing Olbermann's show, with a night by night run down of what you thought you saw, yet, you do not link to a video which, if you are right, would support your claims. How am I supposed to comment on it if I cannot view and judge for myself? Or is this beside the point? It seems to me that you know your audience, and what we have is not an honest or a valid criticism, but the judgements of someone who has made their mind up beforehand.

On Olbermann Watch ">FAQit states that "Just read the site every day and you will come to see that he lies pretty much every time he opens his mouth. Sometimes we even make lists but with Keith it is hard to keep current on his latest lies and distortions...".yet there is no independent corraboration of these lies and distortions. I see nothing from Reuters, the AP, The New York Times, the Times of London, or anything like that. You link to other commentators. Why bother linking at all, then. It would by like asserting that the "world is flat" and finding ten other people to agree, and calling that proof.

Another thing which caught my eye was the prominent "Know something about Keith Olbermann?" red e mail link, which would indicate some desire for dirt on Mr. Olbermann. So is this about Olbermann the Commentator or Olbermann the person? This seems like an invitation to rumormongering to me.

One of the things I have learned over the years is an textual archeology, digging deep to uncover the who and why in the creation of a text. I've already uncovered the obvious bias in the Johnny Dollar post. Scrolling down, I find the name Robert Cox as the editor of the OlbermannWatch. There's also a nice picture of Bob with Tony Snow, in case there was any question of where this is leading.

He is the President of the something called Media Bloggers Association, whose mission statements reads

"Honesty, fairness and accuracy: State what you know and how you know it. Use links to supporting documents on the web wherever possible; credit sources and link to other bloggers. Distinguish fact from rumor and speculation. Be intellectually honest when expressing opinion. Don't plagiarize or pass off others' work as your own. Act responsibly and with personal integrity.

Transparency: Clearly disclose conflicts of interest including personal relationships, financial considerations or anything else that might influence or appear to influence your independence and integrity. If you accept payments from advertisers or sponsors, clearly demarcate advertorial from editorial content."

I wonder, how, as editor in chief of the OlbermannWatch, and the President of this organization, how could one could allow such shoddy documentation and obvious partisanship in one realm, and then promote such lofty, nay, noble, ideals about the citizen journalist on the other hand? Intellectually honest? The OlbermannWatch is anything but.

At the end of the day, by definition, nothing on the OlbermannWatch is libelous or slanderous, because this would necessitate that general audience would believe catalog of logical fallacy that is the modus operandi over at OlbermannWatch, with its "redstate" bias hanging out for all to see.

I suppose, as Wes asked, why would OlbermannWatch. come looking for me, running a small blog with no advertising, no site meter, some one who's only intent is to provide more testimony to the disasterous policies of this President. The great thing about blogging is that it allows everyone to provide testimony to history, democratizing it in the process, and, as such, allowing a true history of the people in the process. But maybe, because I do give testimony to history about this President, his right wing apologists and the cryptofascist propaganda they utilize to stonewall and subjegate the citizens of these United States, is exactly why OlbermannWatch took exception, because it is part of the problem.

    Anyway, thanks for stopping by.

    http://thewizardofcovington.blogspot.com/2007/04/thewizards-response.html

You douchebags equate an internet poll rating the popularity of celebrities with the most basic process of our democracy? How much banal, self-serving post-modernism can we stand?

assrat, if there had been voter fraud in either of the last 2 elections, investigations launched by the dems (costing millions of dollars) would have uncovered something, don't you think?

Posted by: royalking at April 25, 2007 11:51 AM

Hey retard; the democrats have had no power to launch investigations in the congress until early this year, when they took control of both houses. The Republicans did nothing but say "Yes Sir; Thank you Sir" to Bush, and take record-breaking numbers of days-off.

The Dems have, since their ascent to power, been busy getting things on their very long list done with amazing speed, and the investigations you cite will be coming. You will cry, cry cry, and I will smile.

Actually the Democrats have learned that it is far easier to criticize the government in power than to actually govern themselves. Since their return to power in January, they've done nothing but stall, bitch, moan, groan, and whine, without passing any real, meaningful legislation. They're great at holding press conferences TELLING people what they're PLANNING on doing, but as of yet, they've been slow on the actual "Doing" part.

But I realize your sources are less than stella: you haven't figured this out yet but DU, KOS, and Olby aren't really reliable sources when it comes on getting the straight scoop on what's really going on in the government.

Blindrat has also failed to note that it is the Olbyloons who believe it's essential to rig the results of this poll. They're the ones assigning importance to it.

    Brandon,

Actually, the last (republican) congress was officially the congress that had accomplished the least, at least in modern memory. Try to get your facts straight, son. You look stupid, otherwise...

As for the poll, I would imagine that several people are sending visitors to the site.

Still you cannot see the difference between a poll and a national election. That's sad, son!

    I can't believe what I just read.

Two major problems with this story, you dolts.

First off, there is a BIG difference between 'voter fraud' and 'election fraud'. Go educate yourselves..we'll wait.

Second, are you ACTUALLY attempting to compare a Presidential Election to an internet poll??? Seriously???

You people have some serious issues.

You people have some serious issues.

Posted by: TripMaster Monkey at April 25, 2007 1:42 PM

Actually, they come here to studiously AVOID serious issues; thereby temporarily protecting their fragile psyches from the ravages of cognitive dissonnance. They are drowning rats squeezing their little black eyes shut as the bilge rises.

    From a recent interview:

ANN CURRY: Do you know the American people are suffering… watching [Iraq]?

LAURA BUSH: Oh, I know that very much, and, believe me, no suffers more than their president and I do when we watch this. And certainly the commander-in-chief who has asked our military to go into harm’s way.

AC: What do you think the American people need to know…

LB: Well, I hope they do know the burden of worry that’s on his shoulders every single day for our troops. And I think they do. I think if they don’t, they’re not seeing what the real responsibilities of our president are.

AC: It must be hard for you to watch him in this.

LB: It’s hard. Of course, it’s absolutely hard.

SLOB: I don’t know about any of you, but I have little time or sympathy to waste on such preposterous pretensions to humanity from a detatched White House gun-moll. Get back with me when your spoiled, callow daughters are dodging IED shrapnel in the streets of Bagdhad; or when they come back from their third forced deployment with missing limbs or brain injuries.

    Miss loin says:

Um, most political experts I see on TV call the liberals first few weeks in power remarkably lame. Hum?

Ascent to power. By the thinnest of margins. They claimed GW had no mandate. Reid and Pelosi love to say "the American people have spoken". They are wrong. They are blowing any chance they have of staying in power.

Investigations. I think I remember the Supreme Court declaring GW the winner.

You are a whiner. Just like your idol Al Whore. I say you and Whore should STFU. Whore can rant about Florida, GW, Jeb, Katherine all he wants. The dumb sh-t couldn't win his own home state of TN. Liberals say Whore and Heinz Kerry are smart and GW is stupid. Look who is two plus years into his second term. Who is dumb. He kicked the crap out of those two, put Sadam and his two sons in the ground plus numerous henchmen and sent Zarqawi to me Allah. If Whore or Heinz were President those dead would still be walking around. Add to that GW and our military gave the Iraqi people freedom.

I rather be a retard that a stupid SOB.

    Hey Georgie,

Why not quote two of those "experts", son?

As for the rest of your ignorant diatribe, it would take a long time to respond. Let's just suffice it to say that neocons love to play the "if" game. Guess what, young lady? If GW hadn't been in office in 2001, the 9/11 attacks would've never occurred...

Keith Olbermann Spends $4.2 M. For Marbled Trump Condo

According to a deed filed late Tuesday afternoon in public records, the Countdown with Keith Olbermann host paid $4.2 million, the exact asking price for the five-room apartment.

At least we know he wasn't in the bathtub....KEITH HAS WON!

wizard, you posted exactly zero evidence of slander, which was the whole base of your argument, if there was one. Thanks for that and keep up the good work!

Care to name one thing of IMPORTANCE?

Thanks for the vote of confidence, royalking, but the point of this was why come looking for me, call me out, and then leave it at that.

There's a fine line between slander, libel, and obfuscating to the point where the facts no longer matter. Congratulations, you have found the balance.

You keep ignoring the shoddy documentation of Murdoch sycophants, keep worrying about book sales, and pretend it doesn't really matter. For people who talk so much about stark distinctions, good vs. evil, etc., you folks certainly love subjectivity.

But hey, at least you had the balls to address me, so thanks.

Wizard...you are kind of new to "this blog thing" Understanding of all that is this site will come with time "grasshopper".

Oh, wait, I almost forgot: Does this mean that you concede that no one takes this blog and the sh-t you post seriously?

    Thanks.

The Dems have, since their ascent to power, been busy getting things on their very long list done with amazing speed, and the investigations you cite will be coming. You will cry, cry cry, and I will smile.

You know, Sir Loin, you come off as much more interesting and worth a cautious ear when you're in your most fanciful a- conspiracy-behind-every-teapot/don't-trust-the-man mode. That there really are things that go bump in the night is a truism worthy of rudimentary respect and attention from anyone seasoned enough to know it.. When you suddenly and invariably transform into the most spirited of adolescent pom pom waving cheerleaders towards particular pols and party, the resulting deflation of something very nearly approaching respect is almost painful.

No, actually, I've been blogging for a while. I'm just new here-kind of got draw in. Don't think I'll be hanging around too much?

What am I not understanding, oh master-wizard: Is this supposed to be a grand satire? Sure as hell doesn't seem like one.

    Anyway...take care.

wizard, The fact a person who considers himself a "news caster" on a daily basis misinforms and misrepresents facts to suit his own political agenda should and is taken very seriously by some. On the other hand, there can be some humor to be found by some....

I believe the word is "commentator"-just like Scarborough, which, incidentally enough, you don't bring up.

Thanks Cecelia-not sure how long I'll stay. Waiting for a meeting to start.

Thanks to the anonymous tipster who oh-so-helpfully posted the details of Olbermann's real estate transcations. You've just given me the details I need for my latest Owatch Entry. And I've included links to photos & the floorplan! Thanks!

Far from a Democrat cheerleader, I see no possibility that the investigations to which I referred will not occur. Informed optimism is not cheerleading. Do you really think that the Democratically led House and Senate will sit on thier hands and NOT investigate the 2000/2004 election irregularities? the Bush/Cheney/Abramoff connections? the White House/Armstrong Williams scandal? the OVERT LIES THAT TOOK US TO WAR?

By the way, you are correct that informed skepticism is worthy of interest, which is why you bore the piss out of me, you credulous mind-slave.

Care to name one thing of IMPORTANCE?

Still trying to come up with something? Wise ass?

What things done? Posing for photo ops? Yeah, that's progress alright.

The Tillman family and Jessica Lynch ripped the Bush Administration a new a--hole yesterday and continued to expose them as liars and deceits of monumental proportions.
And...Our attorney general is claiming to be a forgetful stumblebum in order to protect Karl Rove.
The Republicans just keep proving why they are the worst administration in 50 years.

Now back to the Olbyhaters spin.

By the way, you are correct that informed skepticism is worthy of interest, which is why you bore the piss out of me, you credulous mind-slave.

No doubt that would change if I rhapsodized about a particular pary's "amazing speed" ....or showed targeted skepticism that you'd certainly find "worthy of interest".

So much for the iconoclast thing, SLOB. With you, the skepticism, though slightly marbled is completely cornfed.

hey, where's pat? Hey, you forgot to throw a BUSHWIPE in their!

The totally partisan Brandon( and total moron RoyalJeff) who find it impossible to give Democrats any kudos for their successes and could never bring themselves to admit any of the 6 years of failures for their party, reveal what right wing lackeys they really are.

With the Senate recently completing their 100th work day, it's worth taking a look at all they have already done to improve the lives of Americans. Unlike the do-nothing Republican Congress they replaced, Democrats have already pursued a positive agenda and gotten things done.

Early on, Democrats replaced the Republican Culture of Corruption with the most significant ethics reforms in more than 20 years, reigning in the influence of lobbyists and tightening the ethics rules that govern Congress. The legislation banned gifts, meals, and travel funded by lobbyists, and has been called "the most significant ethics reform since Watergate."

The House and the Senate also passed a bill to raise the minimum wage for the first time in a decade. They made America safer by passing all of the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission. They passed a bill to promote stem cell research by expanding federal funding by lifting restrictions, which should soon reach the President's desk.

The Senate has held 58 oversight hearings on the war in Iraq, compared to the last (Republican-led) Senate HOLDING ZERO.(Something the braindeaders don't like to bring up) In addition, Democrats have crafted legislation to remove our troops from the civil war in Iraq so that we can change the course. No longer will the Congress simply being a rubber stamp for the Bush administration.

That "no rubber stamp" rule doesn't just apply to Iraq, as Senate Democrats are also investigating the conditions at Walter Reed. Our veterans deserve the very best treatment, and so it is vital to determine what went wrong. It also applies to the hearings to determine the White House's involvement in the firing of several U.S. attorneys.

On top of it all, House Democrats have passed legislation to make college more accessible by lowering the interest rate on student loans. They've passed bills ranging from making America more energy independent to making health care more affordable.

Yet while Democrats continue to get things done, Republicans in Congress continue to attempt to block positive reform at every stage on many of these issues. So far, Democrats have come out on top. That's not just a victory for us, but a victory for America.

Bob. and Monica Goodling was just granted immunity for her truthful testimony regarding the proceedings of a number of Justice Dept meetings relevant to the firings of the US attourneys. A new Republican representative is raided by the FBI just about every day. Kucinich introduced the impeachment of Cheney on the House floor.

Karl Rove publically exposed his fear of girl-cooties ("don't touch me" he squeaked at Cheryl Crow).

Its exhilarating how rapidly the implosion of our aspiring fascist executive is intensifying.

    >Good news, Bumblef---! This is a choice you will never have to make - you clearly test positive in both regards!

Sir Loin is in RARE form today. I'm very thankful, why should I have all the fun bitchslapping the OW idiots all the time.

    There's plenty to go around...

    LMAO,

    Its fun and easy.

NO matter how often these Bushies are told of how the Dems are moving forward , they will continue to say they're not doing anything.

(They're so used to their GOP "do nothing" Congress, they can't handle the Dems Congress actually accomplishing things.)

And it's fascinating how these mindless republicans( at this site) will continue to ignore it.

Proof positive sir loin of beef can't back her post. All spew, all the time.

As Jeffrey goes merrily along ignoring the posts proving what a partisan idiot he is.

Special Comment tonite, it might be good, Quief Slobermann must have been working on it for the past few days. All aboard!

anonyloon, sir milktoast never gave one shred of evidence to back her spew. Nothing was ignored, by me, anyways, just by her. The divert card, running scared.

The question was directed to milktoast, not bob. Minimum wage? I said name something IMPORTANT! College interest rates? lol

Quite right. For instance, when the investigations underway by this congress result in the physical imprisonment of Bush and Cheney, royalking will ascert that there has always been an exposed toilet bowl at one end of the 6 x 10 "Rectangular Office".

sir loin of spam, pretty funny, coming from someone who makes posts and can't back them up. Are you still googling to find something?

Posted by: royalking at April 25, 2007 8:14 PM

OK, dipsh-t; what is it you don't understand? Don't you think that governmental accountability and the rule of law are "important"? The investigations underway as we write are clear examples of responsible legislators actually doing their jobs in terms of OVERSGHT. Even some Republicans are trying really hard to exhibit such responsibility.

...not to mention the impressive list of legislation supplied by Bob that has gone through this congress in record time.

I think the most important thing here is to note tha the Olbyloons are so incredibly stupid that they couildn't even figure out how to VOTE in this poll! Pretty much explains Florida and Ohio huh?

loin of spam, the investigations under way are witch hunts against the republican party, nothing more. "Oversight" is the liberal term for witch hunt. Tax dollars hard at being wasted.

    roylalking

...but what is "rule of law" a liberal term for? We know for sure that it IS a liberal term; but what do you think it means?

Brandon: "I think" (no evidence yet of rational thought from this hater) "the most important thing" (an freakin internet poll?) "is to note tha" (sp) "the Olbyloons" (Brandon's favorite crutch word) "are so incredibly stupid" (how's that one for the ultimate in hypocrisy folks?) "that they couildn't" (sp again) "even figure out how to VOTE in this poll! Pretty much explains Florida and Ohio" (insulting the residents of two of our most important states) "huh?".

If I look at this blog long enough, maybe I will one day see Brandon make an INTELLIGENT post that avoids using grade school crutches hypocritically calling other people loons, liars, stupid, etc., etc., etc.

    Nah, it'll never happen!

Mike you'd be nothing without this site. I take your insults as the highest praise i can get.

"Mike, you'd be nothing without this site".

Yes, Brandon....this site made me what I am today. Thank you Johnny!

Finally, he speaks "truth to power."

Jeff: "Finally, he speaks "truth to power"".

I also speak "truth to dumbass's" every time I speak to you Jeff.

You and Olbermann are both incapable of speaking truth to anyone or anything at any time.

    Bush Supporters!!
