On his blog he teased that he would write about those glowing private eight minutes with Mary Carey. He never did that (and the whole blog disappeared - funny how Brian Williams and others can find time to travel and maintain their blogs.) On the fan forums and the news blogs there was so much negative reaction to the pics of him and Mary that he dropped the whole idea, I believe.

And to think NBC didn't renew John Siegenthaler but signed Olby the Clown to a four-year contract. GE must be paying Keith Anally a dollar for every skeleton in his closet.

Isn't it amazing that they'd let go an unbiased, competent, capable news anchor and instead pay someone an obscene amount of money who can't consistently win the 2nd slot ratings wise, forget about even coming in number one? By the way, wasn't Olby's new contract supposed to include gigs on the Nightly News? Or was that something they promised him but have no intention on actually giving him?

And, of course, no reference of the REASON she was on the show to BEGIN with (she was running for Governer, which was what about 100 plus people were DOING at the time) made by the poster of this. Nor that many OTHER news organizations were giving her air time, too (like FOX), then and now.

C'mon, Cox, I know you can actually run a slime machine better than THIS! At LEAST make it look like you're actually TRYING.

I don't think Keith Olbermann spending any personal time with Mary Carey is particularly significant other than the 'snicker factor' over her line of work and her IQ. They're both of-age and single.

What's hilarious is the little public difference between Olbermann and Carey as to the nature of their relationship and the fact that Olbermann got busted distorting the facts to some degree.

Of course that's ridiculous. The freedom of consumers to join with other like-minded consumeers in order to use the power of their own purses to persuade, is the essence of individual freedom.

Actually, until some Anonymous mentioned Jeff, I was arguing that boycotts are not essentially censorial, as some Anonymous had characterized them as being.

The response I got from doing that was:

When alluding to people, ANYONE is used rather than ANYTHING. I had been sticking up for boycotting and that is a THING.
