"COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN" (8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. ET)
Host: Keith Olbermann
Topics/Guests:
Over the past few weeks we've been using the phrase "throwing him under the bus" (mostly referring to Don Imus). As we've seen many times before, Keith Olbermann, a regular reader of Olbermann Watch, has adopted yet another one of our pet phrases so that during the first five minutes Keith used the word "bus" about a dozen times.
#5 ScandalGate
GonzoGate - Gonzales ignores Senate subpeona, tricked McNulty into signing off on firing the U.S. attorneys, and beat small puppies with a stick. Meanwhile George Bush attempted to get John Ashcroft to sign off on warrant-less wiretaps hours after major surgery. Did I mention that Bush doesn't care about the three soldiers missing in Iraq? Howard Fineman stops by, punches Keith's ticket and get an honor even greater than getting "great thanksed", he gets to come back for another segment.
WolfGate - once again we hear that no one supports Wolfowitz. Of course, last week he was going to be fired by Tuesday now its the day after the board got the ad hoc committee report and he's still there.
New War Czar - General Lute, last we heard about this no one wanted this job. More bus references.
#4 - Jerry Falwell - canned report from NBC News
Oddball - bears, dogs, robots
Lanny Davis resigns from "Bush's" board on civil liberties (of course, the board was created by Congress at the recommendation of the 9/11 Commission so Bush actually had nothing to do with creating the board). How often did Lanny Davis appear on MSNBC's The Big Show? Back in the old Lewinsky days' Davis was actually on Keith's show more than Keith.
Newsmakers - some messed up people
News Bites - old guy getting beaten
Keeping Tabs - Lindsay Lohan named hottest woman by Maxim, Paris Hilton under stress over her pending imprisonment.
WPIW - Glenn Beck (surprise!), some guy, Dr. Laura
DC Idol - Keith's BFF Tony Snow wins a charity talent show in Washington prompting Keith to announce a "contest" so uninteresting that its not worth elaborating on further.
Whoops. My bad. I forgot to enable comments last night and only saw this morning that I had done so. Maybe not a bad thing as it focused the comments last night on the GOP Debate but it was not intentional.
I am heading down to DC to speak on a panel on blogging at an education conference. I plan to be back tonight but do not expect to be blogging during the day. Perhaps Brandon, Ed or Doug can pick up the slack a bit.
BTW, J$ is slowly working his way back to his "normal" but his full-time return is still day-to-day.
Ooooooh Laura!

...to be such puss's to come on a board where the majority of the people's opinion are contrary to theirs and feel compleed to defend a lying, left wing loser like Olby. ALl of them have a big fat "L" tattoed to their forheads.

I'll repeat my appreciation to Bob for providing a free RW freak show.
Now, Laura, go play with Bovine, Joker, Factor, D-Ranged and Pucke.
Don't forget to bring your gun, because the one with the biggest gun wins the title of Real Raygun Republican.
LOL!
Hey AAP, you forgot your moronic BU$HWIPES. Are you finally realizing how stupid it is?
Nah, I doubt it. Must be morning haze. You just forgot.
Keith N, you obviously don't recognize that it is so original and fresh and informative even on the thousandth time one reads it.
If Pats decides to write a book like KO's book it will be a contender for a Pulitzer I'm sure.
Grammie:)
"George Bush" sez: "Olby doesn't have a problem with morons saying we are to for blame for or own government on 9/11, GW, in particular, created 9/11."
And you know this....how?
I don't recall Olbermann ever defending the 911 conspriracy crowd.
I also heard Olbermann say on his show last night, "Not caught on tape," about the people standing around watching the elderly man being beaten. Odd. I saw a videotape of the people standing around watching him being beaten. Even simple research is beyond the scope of Olbermann and his crew. I wonder why he didn't want to show the version of the tape that does show the small crowd observing this dispicable act.
Tracking the deplorable one on a daily basis has got to be difficult work.
Thanks for keeping it going.
OlberLimp's story about the 91 y/o man being beaten up was on The Factor the night before.
Come on limpy's staff, cant you clowns come up with some stories of your own? Maybe if you weren't so infatuated with O'Reilly's program, you could find stories of your own.
SB_Mich: It was also on Glenn Beck's programme the night before.
So little posts for this thread, it's kind of sad really.
Hrmph! That's a lie! I do *not* read this blog regularly!
Uh, I mean...
These are not the droids you're looking for...
Olbermann's a hack
it's funny how Olbermann has done exactly what the Olbyhaters have always accused him of not being able to do.
He has put the pedal to the metal against the Democrats, and STILL his haters aren't satisfied.
They are without merit or conscience.
yes, they are a despicable group. Instead of admitting that they were wrong or giving him credit , they're still on the attack.
Just proves they have no character at tal'.
