"COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN" (8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. ET)
Host: Keith Olbermann
Topics/Guests:
#5 Wolfie howls at every drop of that Olbygoodness that drips from Keith's hallowed lips as they marvel that Gonzales remains on the job at Justice. Meanwhile, after weeks of pounding away on the Wolfowitz - World Bank story, news comes that a compromise has been reached and Wolfowitz will leave in several weeks. And this get a 20 second mention on Countdown. Oh, any by the way the President brokered a compromise on an Immigration deal which will radically change the way the U.S. deals with legal and illegal immigration for decades.
#4 Bush hates the troops - and Todd Bowers of IAVA.org (another far left group posing as representatives of veterans) agrees. Oh, and did I mention that Bush hates the troops.
Oddball - a Watergate mention (surprise!), scary sheep, little girl kicked during break dancing.
I have to run to Staples and buy something called a "graphic calculator" for my son so he can do his homework. What the hell happened to a compass and a pencil! So, I can't watch the rest of the show and I am not able to Tivo the show until midnight so here's a few place holder notes which are probably about right. Maybe some folks can put the Keeping Tabs, News Bites and WPIW info int he comments
Keebing Tabs - Paris Hilton drops her appeal
WPIW - some people who do not agree with Keith
#1 American Idol Shocker - Mario Malito is surprised that her prediction from last night was wrong and she is really angry. Oh, and did I mention she's angry.
So Olbermann seems to find it funny when a child is hit repeatedly huh? Maybe his child-girlfriend should pay special attention to what Keith thinks is funny. That was totally without humor but ole' Olbermann couldn't stop laughing. He's sicker than I thought.
There is obviously a reason that Olbermann is closing in on 50 and still dating college age women. It might have something to do with being a sociopath.
This hardly seems a political issue. One can only wonder if there is a limit to what the OlbyLoons are willing to defend. I guess making fun a 2 year old child being kicked in the head, flipped over backwards and perhaps killed or permanently disabled is all jolly good fun on OlbyPlanet.
Did anyone notice the child was a girl? Anyone notice the mother running to help? And Keith says he thinks MAYBE the girl was OK. More he-man women-haters garbage from Olbermann to boot.
I especially like how Keith, while playing the video over and over, justifies it by asserting that everyone else actually finds it amusing.
Nothing wrong with Olby hitting 20-something talent at the age of 48.
we should all be so lucky.
But there is something very, very, very wrong with a grown man finding it entertaining to watch a child repeatedly hit and telling us he doesn't "think" the child was injured. If he's supposed to be the Edward R. Murrow of his generation why the hell didn't he do a little investigating before showing this? What's next-setting the homeless on fire or beating them?
let me clarify...did not see KO tonight. just saw the reference to the adult girlfriend in which i offered a point of view.
obviously, any underage little girl reference is abhorrant, but as far as olby and his consenting adult young girlfriend, it's between consenting adults.
Don't get me wrong, I haven't turned 'against' Keith Olbermann, but I too found playing that particular clip over and over offensive as well.
An exceptional show tonight. The Gonzales analysis was on-target. I tend to agree that we have Bush just being Bush, i.e. stubborn and arrogant. As soon as things quieten down, he'll ask Gonzales to leave.
Of course, the Democrats have no particularly use for Gonzales to be gone. He is the gift which keeps giving. And, Gonzales is now useful to some Republicans are trying to distance themselves from Bush to enhance difficult re-election bids.
I understand all of this. Of course, we are still left with a disfunctional Justice Department, and the growing scandal is simply weakening an Administration which is already "eunuch-like". We would all be served better if Bush simply began to act like an adult and if Congress, both Democrats and Republicans, gave a bit more thought to statesmanship instead of partisanship.
And, the Democrats and Republicans who have seen the light may be on to something. It's hard to imagine how this can continue much longer. The snare widens daily and the prey is solely the Administration and the handful or remaining Bush loyalists. Perhaps, Monica will turn the tide, or, perhaps, we are on the verge of a dam bursting. Senator Schumer certainly has that "I know something you don't look about him."
At any rate, Wolfe's analysis was superb tonight, and on balance, the show was excellent.
By contrast, I took as much of H&C as I could. That show worsens each night. It is little more than Nancy Grace, with a bit less testosterone.
BTW: The military segment was strong, too. The policy statements underscore a key characteristic of both Bush and Cheney: abject disrespect for the people they are repeatedly and prolongedly sending into harms' way. To paraphrase: where is your purse, there to your heart.
---
The video segment was not enjoyable, indeed tasteless.
Still beats the Impact Segrment ....
To replay that video of the child being kicked over and over was irresponsible. Then he suggested we would be laughing with him. Poor judgement. To him the fact that the child lifted her head indicated she might be all right. Yeah, another Murrow moment all around.
I'm curious to see if it will be in the late show or if they'll edit it out. Even the liberal websites are turning on him for this move.
And he seemed to find it absolutely hysterically funny. Yeah that KO is a classy guy ain't he? I'm sure the Olbyloons however will mount a passionate defense and claim that this was all the fault of those evil producers of KO's: but it still will never explain why he seemed to gain so much personal amusement from it other than the obvious-he's a sick, twisted puppy.
It's times like these thaT R.Cox wishes he has agreed with the abortion doctors. R.Cox's son made us miss half of a countdown episode summary.
lately..the review of the show has really been lame...whats up??....your just skimming over...bring back Johnny Dollar....he was the best!
Obama, I have often wondered about your sanity, but the tasteless post you just made at 11:06 goes beyond that...even worse than the ill advised Countdown clip of the kicked child being played over and over again.
Johnny Dollar is now a missionary in Vo' pathre Finrethe Island and can not be disturbed on the account of the nearby volcan god gets upset whenever an object of the "white man" is used in the psuedo-kingdom. Ohhh ... it probably is not true, but the local inhabitants do not want to take a chance. I wouldn't want to, either.
Mike: You should read the posts of my alter-egoes on other websites. They will make you spasm ten times over. About this girl getting kicked ... it wasn't in the head, was it?
Let's see, a child gets injured while in the New York City subway system, and Keith doesn't think there's anything wrong with her. Meanwhile, some clodhopper bumps his head on door in the New York City subway system, and he suffered a deblitating injury for life the precludes ever driving a motor vehicle again. Good show of compassion there, Keith.
Don't get me wrong, I haven't turned 'against' Keith Olbermann, but I too found playing that particular clip over and over offensive as well.
Posted by: Mike at May 17, 2007 10:38 PM
We already know that there is absolutely nothing that Krazy Keith could do to get you to "turn against" him.
An exceptional show tonight. The Gonzales analysis was on-target.
Obama, I have often wondered about your sanity
Posted by: Mike at May 17, 2007 11:30 PM
We already know the status of your "sanity."
That clip is over at the website.
By my count it was about 15 times.
About the last five was in some wacky arcade deal.
Does Keith ever go over any of these segments so he can say. Well, maybe we shouldn't use this one.
Or did he and the laughing statehand yuk it up for an hour playing this over and over in pre-production?
But then again for David Brock's puppet, how much prep do you need just to read a teleprompter?
I would be trying to track down the mom of this child. I'm sure she wasn't yuking it up that day. And I wonder how she would feel about the great Edward R. Moron showing her kid as a pinball.
Robert...
Surprise....Olbermann lied again....
5/17/07 WORSE PERSON for Rush Limbaugh:
Olbermann said he was "reading verbatim"....
Olbermann: "....there's a template developing for the Republican debate last night. 'How come there are no women and minorities on stage?' You know, the Democrats never get these kinds of questions because it's always assumed that they're fair and just, and not discriminatory and all that."
Ahhhh....liar Olbermann...
The actual words from Rush were:
"....there's a template developing for the Republican debate last night. 'How come there are no women and minorities on stage?' I guess you forgot about 2004. And I guess -- you know, the Democrats never get those kinds of questions because it's always assumed that they're fair and just, and not discriminatory and all that."
Missingfrom Olbermann's self described verbatim quote....."I GUESS WE FORGOT ABOUT 2004"...This makes a difference, does it not?
Election 2004.....The end result of the process in the democratic primaries: White bread nominees Kerry and Edwards.
That was Limbaugh's point, the last nominees from the democrats were white men but now it is an issue only for the republicans.....And Olbermann purposely left the cogent part of Limbaugh's argument out of his "verbatim" reference.
Keith Olbermann is a liar.
If Olbermann omitted the lies from his program he'd have about 55 minutes of dead air each night.
Brandon,
Okay son, show me the lies from last night's show...
Got nothing, child? Best that you run away as usual...
Here you go assrat, some of your muslim buddies hard at work! Spin this off your prayer rug.
The Latest US Muslim Soldier to turn Against US
Hassan Abujihaad, 31, was arrested today (Mar 7) in Phoenix on federal charges of terrorism and espionage. The former U.S. Navy sailor went by the name Paul Hall. The federal complaint alleges that he gave classified information about Navy battle group movements to a London-based group that supported Islamic terrorists including Al-Qaeda. The Navy battle group was engaged in anti-terror operations.
Federal prosecutors say Abujihaad was stationed on the U.S.S. Benfold in the Middle East which was one of the ships that’s movement was revealed.
Emails by Abujihaad allegedly praised Osama bin Laden and the 2000 attack on the U.S.S. Cole and said such tactics were working and taking their toll.
What the article doesn't say is that Abujihaad is the eighth Muslim in the US Armed Forces to turn against his country in favor of jihad. All this in just the last three years.
Wow, rk! Eight (if you are even correct) out of around twenty thousand. That is certainly cause for alarm, son. Maybe instead of telling me that there are eight, you should show me...
...Nah! If you could have, you would have already, wouldn't you, child?
Transcript isn't up yet Blindrat. And you know as well as I do that Olbermann runs one of the most biased news show on television to the point that he avoids discussion of anything that would be remotely unflattering towards a Democrat. And he runs even faster from a story that might portray the Bush administration in a favorable light. If that's not lying I don't know what else is but apparently you have no problem with your 'Edward R Murrow" of the 21st Century being a liar and a propagandist. Not to mention a sick and twisted SOB who thinks it's funny when a child is injured.
Oh and Blindrat? I know you can't see very well but look above, Cee has documented an Olbermann lie on last night's show already. Or is reading comprehension just not (another) strength of yours?
Oh and Blindrat? I know you can't see very well but look above, Cee has documented an Olbermann lie on last night's show already. Or is reading comprehension just not (another) strength of yours?
Brandon,
It wasn't a lie, son. It was a quote that had a part left out. Cox and Dollar do it all the time. Now, I don't care if you show me all the lies in last night's show or any show, child. I won't even ask for fifty-five minutes of lies...
...But, put up or shut up, son...
Posted by: Robert Cox at May 17, 2007 10:23 PM
Unfortunately, I happened to come in on the show just as it was playing. I kept thinking this has got to be a mistake, he is going to say this is a hoax anytime soon. But he didn't. It was so utterly disturbing.
Robert, this may be hard because you have small children, but please give some thought to posting that segment in context, with all of Olbermann's joy and laugher. This level of sickness needs to be documented for all to see and for KO fans to try to defend.
Did Countdown edit the "replays" or did they just "find" it on the internets that way? Not that is makes a difference, because the man took such joy in presenting it, but you know that will be his defense...one of my producers "found" this.....bla..bla..bla...
From Relevant Torture (Either Relevant or True) Recap of Countdown:
Oddball: Anniversary of Watergate! On an unrelated note Keith's eyes are looking very pretty tonight from his substandard glasses. As for the internets: oh noes! Some people put a mask on a sheep and ... he frightened sheep, and there's a tragic breakdancing-gone-wrong video that Keith plays a remix of that I, honestly, laughed really hard at.

Fortunately, the comments provided us with some terrific insight:

You don't like Keith's glasses from last night. You love the dark frames. You laughed at the breakdancing video. You don't like Maria Milito. Are you the really young one? Or am I just really old?

I love Maria Milito! I just wish there was a reason for her to be on the show that had nothing to do with AI.

So we have learned:
orginenglish is disturbed by KO fan laughing at what KO, host and managing editor of Countdown, presented as funny....
Kristina who is only 20, is not quite, but almost in Olbermann's "demo"
Becky, site owner, allows first time comment from Lexxie condemning segment so she doesn't have too (she doesn't want Keith mad at her...(in the soup nazi voice: no more links from The Newshole for you!)
It wasn't a lie, son. It was a quote that had a part left out."
Then its not a quote now is it......
blindrat.....Olbermann said...."I'll read it verbatim," then went on to NOT read it verbatim and frame the quote so as to show Limbaugh was overlooking the fact that the current democratic field is diverse in color and gender.
"I'll read it verbatim" is a lie.
A verbatim quote would have implied that Limbaugh was questioning the press' lack of questioning regarding the 2004 democratic ticket.
Oh, and it is interesting that the original question about diversity was asked by a "Fox Noise" correspondent, and who was that person....
Chris Wallace.
How ironic, the guy Olbermann threw his anti-semetic slur at was the guy to question the white bread nature of the current field of republican presidential nominees.
How ironic that tough questions are asked by Fox correspondents of republicans....their supposed comrades-in-arms. Oh, and didn't I hear that the democrats are scared to even face a Fox journalists....no democrat debates on Fox?
poor blindrat.....scurry back to your hole please.
More insight from the NEWSHOLE from one the Keith's BIGGEST and WORDIEST FAN. Even she was disturbed by the child video:
OK, I'm going to take a big breath and say it, Keith and Countdowners: First, there was a lot of GREAT material on tonight's show, and I thank you for it. Gonzo and Wolfowitz, the White House trying to cheat the troops out of a pay raise, pursuing the unbelievable air-traffic controller story (nice work, Monica!)...all excellent. Pat yourselves on the back. I am a faithful viewer and I love the show. But...BUT...that breakdancing clip on Oddball...showing that was just wrong. So was showing the parody of it (and no, I'm not going to hell, because I didn't laugh). The way it looked was scary enough, but then when Keith couldn't even assure us that the little kid was unhurt by it all (the best he could so was a "we think"??)...Nah, not funny. Pratfalls, practical jokes, etc., where nobody gets seriously hurt, fine. But that poor kid...uh-uh. Not funny. I think you all have set a pretty high standard for yourselves, but the down side of is that while a few silly YouTube videos may help to lighten the show, there's a lot of stuff out there that doesn't deserve to be on your program just because a lot of people are viewing it, and you need to recognize that. (Let's face it, there are a lot of people with questionable taste out there.) Sorry if I sound like a prude; I assure you I'm not. I'll even quote Badfinger lyrics if it'll help. (What do you want? "No Matter What"? "Baby Blue"? "Day After Day"? "Without You"? "Apple of My Eye"? I'll torture you with--er, treat you to it anytime, Keith, or sing a duet with Maria Milito and with any luck she'll drown me out.) But I really think you guys need to think before putting clips like that on the show from now on, and should apologize for that one. It was a poor choice.
Tru M., Cleveland, Ohio (Sent Thursday, May 17, 2007 9:41 PM)
More "outrage" about the video from The NEWSHOLE:
Okay, I usually watch the 9 pm edition of Countdown (it's dinner time during the 6 pm), and I can say that I'm very disappointed in you showing that very young child getting catapulted into the air. It was bad enough that you showed it once, but to show it repeatedly and then to show it like a video game-do you know the meaning of poor taste? As an adult it should bother you, as a parent, it is nauseating. Jamie, Chula Vista, CA (Sent Friday, May 18, 2007 12:37 AM)
Another NEWSHOLE comment:
Just a few observations on tonight's show: Oddball: Countdown hardly ever misses a cue, but instead of showing us that little kid getting kicked in the head over and over again, maybe you could have morphed in O'Reilly, Limbaugh, and Coulter. Bonnie, Madison (Sent Thursday, May 17, 2007 11:16 PM)
Finally, the frustration that The NEWSHOLE did not properly "recap" or provide "link" to the video loop of the child getting kicked in the head.
Any chyance you could link to the video's you reference? Or maybe give a more accurate description/acutal you tube title so that those of us who aren't able to watch your show can tell where they are. I found the sheep vid ... but couldn't find then one about the kid getting into the act....Thanks!
Tim Cantrell, Knoxville TN (Sent Friday, May 18, 2007 10:35 AM)
How the segment was actually "recapped" at The NEWSHOLE which is the OFFICIAL Countdown with Keith Olbermann blog at MS-NBC---(clarified just in case one thought The Newshole was just some KO fan blog):
ODDBALL: Freaked out sheep and when that kid said she wanted to get into the act, she got INTO the act.
Maybe we'll get lucky, and he'll make it one of "Oddball Plays of the Month" it was "funny" once...uh, twice...um..no..six or seven times, I sure it will be just as funny a month from now. Just ask Keith...
cee,
In reality, in 2004, there was a black man, a black woman and a Jewish man running for president as a democrat...
Wow, rk! Eight (if you are even correct) out of around twenty thousand. That is certainly cause for alarm, son. Maybe instead of telling me that there are eight, you should show me...
...Nah! If you could have, you would have already, wouldn't you, child?
Posted by: blindrat at May 18, 2007 11:48 AM
assrat, one loser muslim is cause for alarm. Since you're a muslim lover, you wouldn't see it that way. Yesterday there were 18,000 muslims in the service, today there is 20,000? 2000 have enlisted since yesterday? Wow.
blindrat.....
"I'll read it verbatim"
End of my argument....But if you want to argue Limbaugh's true argument, give him a call.
Or scurry back to your your hole....your choice.
Jeff has much more in common with the radical Muslems than he would like to admit:
Jeff apparently has accepted the line that this actually is a war against Islam, which is something the radicals over there fervantly believe as well.

Cox,
When are you going to stop letting people use my id. I am a very important person who, in this realm at least, deserves the respect of being an original...
Now treat me like the daddy I am son...
rk,
I notice that you didn't provide examples of the eight Muslims, son. Moreover, you cannot escape the logic of the fact that if a Christian commits a crime, we don't automatically try to remove all Christians from our society, child...
I do believe that, while you look up the word "right", you should look up the word "around" in your idiocy about the number of Muslims in the military. Good boy!
Ah, I see my cowardly friend is back for another whipping...
Don't you realize I am much, much samrter than you child...
Yes when you can't back up your claims with proof and you can't get people off the subject that makes your hero look bad what do you do? Pull out the cheap stunts like name-calling. You're just like Olby and I don't mean that as a compliment. Are you either a porn star or date one? I'm sure you have LOTS in common.
Good to see that even some of the Olbermann faithful weren't happy with the child beating clip though. You'd think that he'd be more sensitive to children given that he likes to date them and all.
I meat smarter...
I meant meant...
Just grow up kiddies...
dude,
why are you posting like 30 times in a row and how come you can't spell?
JL,
I noticed you've taken the time to read all my posts, good boy...
Now sit there quietly and you might learn something...
assrat, Christians aren't turning on our own troops, got it?
blindrat,
as stifler in pie asked - "dude, are you gay?"
royalwalking,
I've grown tired of this conversation...let's talk sports...
Stop using my id...
That's a lot of posts, Mr. Impersonator. You must feel really threatened.
Note that Cox didn't jump in like his did with Grammie...
Wonder why not...
"Most chaplains in the military are Christian, from nearly all denominations. But a few dozen are from other faiths, including about 30 Jews and 10 Muslims. They spend some of their time tending to the special needs of their own flock, leading holiday services, for example, and seeing that dietary restrictions are accommodated (about 4,000 of the 1.4 million active-duty troops identify themselves as Jews, while Muslims number about 3,400, according to the Pentagon)."
So much for your 20,000 muslims in the service, assrat.
Brandon, are you able to post the clip of Olbermann "reporting" the child kick loop. I really believe it should be somewhere easy to find, so that all can see what passes for "journalism" on Countdown. Don't forget to remind people that Keith Olbermann IS the managing editor as well as host.
I dare you to post with my id again...
We'll see why moderator intervention has been withheld...
Come on son, man up and post...
Is blindrat losing it?
This is the clip of the child being kicked in the Times Square subway station as it originally was posted on YouTube. The looped kicks were added later by someone who thinks it's funny, but wants us to pity him because of his own accident in the New York City subway system:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYVQj5EXMLE
This is just the army, son...
"...The US Army doesn't require its service members to declare their religion. But estimates put the number of Muslims serving at about 10,000. Since 9/11, many Muslims have decided against enlisting because of concerns that a bias exists that could limit their career prospects, according to Mr. Zogby..."

Got em!
assrat is back pedalling full speed now!
Translation: "royalking is wrong again!"...
assrat, if the armed forces don't require service men to declare a religion, how did you come up with your 20,000 muslims? Just spewing, agian?
Thank you John for providing the child kick video link. God, that is pretty awlful. But it proves that Mr. Olbermann approved the looping effect edit for our viewing pleasure. So I guess the "it was like that on the internets" defense is blown.
Robert, Brandon or Johnny $, as horrible as this video is to see, please post this video as it appeared on Countdown, showing all of Olbermann's glee, laughter, & commentary. What a turd.
assrat, I think my Pentagon info is more accurate then zogby. You can come up with something better then that, can't you? You supposedly work for the military and all you got is zogby?
nameless: Apparently, what I stated was WORSE than that breakdancing edit job. It echoes my "sanity"?!?!?
rk,
Since the Pentagon wanted a department of misinformation and the CS monitor has never advocated such for their publication, make your own decision, son...
rk,
Since the Pentagon wanted a department of misinformation and the CS monitor has never advocated such for their publication, make your own decision, son...
"The Defense Department estimates that about 4,200 Muslims are serving. The largest group of Muslims is African-American, followed by Indo-Pakistanis, Arabs and Caucasians."
Still not close to 20,000, assrat. The Defense Dept. and The Pentagon debunk zogby any day.
rk,
You are right, I guess, sorry.
Thanks John for posting the link, gave me a chance to see it for the first time. What the heck is all the fuss about? The kid went ' ass over teakettle' as we used to say, and landed in a way that only children, drunks, and liberals are protected. I must admit it, after seeing the kid didn't get hurt ( I'm guessing as toddlers bones are like rubber , thankfully), I laughed. YES IT IS FUNNY! Keith won't be "Imus'd" over this.
Huh? Little girls getting kicked.....funny?That was not my reaction.....and Im sick.

What the heck is all the fuss about? Posted by: ObserverDan at May 18, 2007 3:59 PM
I think the "fuss" is that the crack staff at Countdown under the direction of Mr. Olbermann, edited the clip for TV having the kicked child loop about 10 times while he laughed and was downright gleefull. Then he half-hearted wonders, outloud, that maybe the child is OK. Hopefully, OW can post this video as it aired on Countdown to cement home that Olberdouche is a "sociopath" (Bob's word). At the very least, it is abundantly clear, he certainly hasn't a clue about what it means to be a parent.
I missed Countdown last night and didn't see the clip about the child.
Is it on YouTube?
Thanks for the posting the clip, John.
That's hidieous!
That was Limbaugh's point, the last nominees from the democrats were white men but now it is an issue only for the republicans.....And Olbermann purposely left the cogent part of Limbaugh's argument out of his "verbatim" reference.
Keith Olbermann is a liar.
Posted by: cee at May 18, 2007 9:49 AM
It's such a disingenuous point from liberals anyway.
As though they were more inclined to respect or to have voted for Alan Keyes or Elizabeth Dole.
As though any of the minority and women members of Bush's cabinet were/are more respected by Democrats of any color, ethnicity or gender.

Keith Olbermann, TV Host, 47
His primetime show, "Countdown with Keith Olbermann," is one of MSNBC's biggest draws, and Olbermann has drawn attention for his increasingly outspoken criticisms of President George W. Bush. Though he's tackling politics these days, Olbermann first made his name in sports, as a top anchor on ESPN's "SportsCenter."
Keith Olbermann's To-Do List:
I want to have children. There's still a slight chance I could make it to their high school graduations, and maybe even make it on foot rather than in a sedan chair they have to carry.
I want to find the proof version of the 1967 Topps Baseball card, No. 487, Tommie Reynolds, which I did not buy at an auction in 1989 because bidding went to about a tenth of what I'd pay for it now. This seems kind of arcane, but this card has haunted me since I was eight years old?the proof version misspells his name "Tommy," so the final version of the card reads "Tom" with two spaces after it. This design inconsistency bothered me the day I first saw it. I just blew it at that auction.
Become president of the United States so some young fella can [complain] about me. It seems only fair.
This Douche spends more time pining for a baseball card than articulating why he wants to be a father...worrying about whether HE will be wheel-chair bound by their graduation...yuck...kids as accessories. As much as this guy tries to be normal---he is so NOT normal.
I think Muslims shouldn't be allowed to serve in the US.
Islam should be banned as it's not a religion.
It's a cult!
All religion is a cult.. .Too bad that all of them do not find their own Jim Jones. Death to Robertson and Dobson.

As though any of the minority and women members of Bush's cabinet were/are more respected by Democrats of any color, ethnicity or gender.

Bush has been stellar in having women and people of color in very key administration positions.
Too bad they lie, distort, spin, circumvent the constitution just like the "white" guys.
I just saw the clip of the child being kicked. Cecelia is correct - it was hideous. I cannot believe Countdown ran it. Shame on you, KO and staff. It is not newsworthy; it is disgusting.

Although there is no disclaimer I am absolutely certain that only Algore was damaged, none of the kids.

Anyone remember Mark Levin ever calling for anyone's death?
Royalking: I knew you would lord it over Blindrat's head. If you had any dignity in debating you would take your 5 seconds of fame and eat it already. You don't though.

Bicker, for your info, I wasn't sure if it was him that made the 'apology' post. Someone was messing with him(namejacking) earlier, that's why I reposted it together hoping he would respond again. He didn't seem like the type to admit he was wrong as he hadn't before. There's 1 minute I'll never get back.............Not that I owed you an explanation, though. Must be the 'dignity' in me.........
rk/Jeff is tends to be the most frequent poster to this site, although JH and Cee are probably the most verbose. rk/Jeff is no doubt a provocateur, perhaps even a plant to try to keep interest up in this site. I am not accusing you, Cox, of doing that. I suspect if rk/Jeff is a plant, it is probably by someone at FOX who hears Olbermann fast on his tired, aging heels. I say that rk/Jeff is a provocateur or plant because I have a hard time imagining that anyone could be both so dense and so mean-spirited, so ignorant, so racist, so boisterous, so cowering. We often ask Cox, et al, to curb abuse on this site, but I think we can effectively reach the same end if we just recognize rk/Jeff for what he is and ignore him. I suspect he/she/it/they will waste away in short order. People of that sort tend to. Then, we will be free to discuss meaningful issues and also be free of the slams and slanders.
As for me, I am heeding my own advice: no response to anything rk/Jeff has to say and noacknowledgement of him/her/it/them. In fact, from this point onward I cease reading all rk/Jeff posts.
