This is very odd because last night Keith promoted the rest of his interview with Al Gore which was scheduled to air tonight. So, this is either an unexpected mid-week absence or the plan was to fill the front end of the show with the lovely Alison introducing KO on tape with Gore. So, for now consider this an open thread unless KO appears through the magic of video tape at which point I will recap the balance of the KO-Gore love fest.

I imagine Olbermann was fired because of the tremendous pressure this website put on MSNBC and Olbermann's sponors. We all knew it was just a matter of time, and we owe thanks to our intellectual leaders, Jeff and Cee.

Olbermann mystery solved--kind of. He's scheduled to be the Keynote Speaker at the Boston ACLU annual banquet tonight, which of course explains why he had to bail on Wednesday night's show. I guess he's walking to Boston or something.

For a guy who "speaks" for a living, he's an awlful public speaker. (The Molly Ivins acceptance speach was really bad --- in both content & delivery). Hopefully the good people at OW will find this ACLU speech to post & critique. Great Thanks!
