Whoops! Spud, our pal at ICN heard that Keith Olbermann made a cameo appearance on Fox News yesterday. Our own J$ dug out the video and provided this screen grab. Good teamwork from two great Americans.
It happened after the two interviews, during the roundtable discussion of the NewsCorp offer. While that was going on, they were running B-roll of various NewsCorp holdings. They must have used some really archival tape, though, since this popped up for about a half-second
UPDATE: Inside Cable News put up their post with this image earlier today. We put put the same image this morning. And soon thereafter, Brian Stelter claimed that a reader named "Geoffrey" sent him a screen grab which looks REMARKABLY similar to the one J$ grabbed from the video first thing this morning. What a coincidence that TVNewser managed to come up with this "get" shortly after the identical image (the Dow Jones Index in the bottom right corner is the only difference and could have easily been altered using even the most basic photo editing software) appeared on ICN and OlbyWatch. What are the odds?
UPDATE: a sharp-eyed reader notes that MSNBC Countdown staffers posted our image on the Newshole blog at MSNBC (sans credit, of course).
UPDATE: MSNBC Countdown staffers credit Olbermann Watch for the image and provide a rare link from the Countdown staff blog on MSNBC.com to OlbermannWatch.com
What the F*** is going on ?!?!?
BU$HWIPE$!!!! Haha. So clever.
I wonder how Keith will respond. Will he mention it on his show, or will he ignore it because he'd then have to admit that he once worked for Fox?
My guess is that he'll use the clip to make fun of them, but will be sure emphasize that he previously worked for Fox Sports, not Fox News.
By the way, the other guy in the photo, Steve Lyons, was fired last fall for making insensitive racial remarks.

The Democratic Presidential Debates: Round One of an Endless Circle of Political Pompousness
By Justin Kloczko
Hosted exclusively by MSNBC, the blowhard, wannabe groupies of the Democratic Party warped the coverage of a political debate into a Democratic pep-rally. The cheerleaders were the pre-pubescent Tucker Carlson, the washed over Chris Matthews and egotistical Keith Olbermann.
The pre-game tone was set when Olbermann announced, “The possibilities are endless. Fasten your seatbelts and send somebody out for dinner.” Carlson quickly drafted the debate into American Idol, asking the question of “how do you go about looking Presidential?” From there on, I knew the commentary would be nothing about politics.
The duo of Olbermann and Matthews was completely cliché, and turned politics into a sports race complete with cheesy metaphors like “offense,” “defense” and “rookie of the year.” Chris Mathews’s biggest contribution of the night was “Who’s gonna, in basketball terminology, shoot the ball?”
And Olbermann, trying to rekindle his days at ESPN - where he should have stayed, borrowed from his play by play onslaught with burnt out commentary like “It’s not quite a baseball team, but it’s enough to play four-on-four basketball.”
Maybe the image is a foretelling that he should go back to sports!
What's the matter, BU$HWIPE$? No retort? Didn't think so. No comeback can compare to the wonderful "BU$HWIPE$." It is so clever it cannot be topped. So...GOTCHA again.

Damn it Cecelia you Bu$hwipe, I have let this nonsense go on long enough! NO ONE STARTS A PARAGRAPH WITH "Too-and-a-comma." No one. Not even dried up old maids in north London. NO ONE!
I do admit it's the last reliable shred of evidence that you, Bob, and the bored-and-gone j$ are not the same person. But stop it now or I will take my ball and go home.
Damn Bush Supporters.

Well, of course dried-up old maids in north London aren't starting sentences with "Too,".
They're all busy tsk-tsking that sort of thing.
Bob,
I think you should be glad to share and share alike.
I've always thought it was awful that you made such a big deal about that Olbermann Watch Watcher site using your picture.
We're bigger than that, Bob. We're givers. It's not in us to take...
Pat Pukanon is a Democratic Cheerleader?
Olbermann did play by play on EPSN?
That's the kind of news you just can't get anywhere but here...
Sorry, ESPN...
I really like my EPSON printer...
Bush: ‘I’m the Commander Guy’
By Sheryl Gay Stolberg
WASHINGTON, May 2–And you thought he was still “the decider.”
President Bush coined a new nickname for himself — ‘’the commander guy” — on Wednesday, as he criticized Congressional Democrats in a speech to the annual gathering of the Associated General Contractors of America, a construction industry trade group.
The man who last year proclaimed “I’m the decider,’’ in response to a question about whether he would fire Donald Rumsfeld as defense secretary, came up with this latest moniker in explaining why he vetoed an Iraq war spending bill that dictated a timeline for troops to withdraw from Iraq.
“The question is, ‘Who ought to make that decision, the Congress or the commanders?,’’ Mr. Bush said. “As you know, my position is clear – I’m the commander guy.”
No, You're the Chimpster ! A laughing stock that embarrasses the US each and every day.
Dammit Jim! I'm a Doctor, not a great American!
I like OW. Thanks for the truth about KO. I wonder what happen to him to make him such a bitter person?
