"I just saw an MSNBC commercial for it, and the best way really to describe what they are srtriving for is hard news, while adding entertainment as well."
There are two assumptions here to be addressed. First, is the idea that the Meltdown format involves presentation of "hard news". This has been proved patently false time after time because Orange Boy's one sided agenda is no more than a rehash or HuffPo and Kos talking points parrotted by hand picked guests who genuflect to the mentally ill Olbermann, because to do otherwsie is to ensure a permanent ban on being invited back. So, no, "hard news" is an illusory concept on Meltdown.
Now for the "adding entertainment as well" assertion by Randy. I guess one can't really dispute this statement since "entertainment" comes in many forms and each has his own idea of what "enteratinment" is. But, one only needs to look at this clip by Mr. Cox above to understand Olbermann's truly pathetic and juvenile "sense of humor" This stuff makes Beavis and Butthead look like models of style and sophistication. Great moments in journalism, indeed!
MORON CLINTON C**K SMOKER!
Puck is now being pursued by his local law enforcement agency as being a major threat to the community.
On another thread Randy posted this:

Yup....KO is certainly at the cronkite, Murrow journalistic level.
Great moments in phallic obsession. What's next from Edward R. Douchebag? Potty humor and fart jokes?
