Well the votes are in and the first five members of the "Great Thanks" Hall of Fame have been selected by the Olbermann Watch Writers Committee.
We will be taking the Memorial Day Weekend off but hope readers will take a few moments this weekend to propose additional nominees in the following categories:

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The maiden class of the Great Thanks Hall of Fame fails to include the finest disbarred lawyer ever, John Dean???
I demand a recount....and not one of those Ohio illegal recounts.......a good one.
And while we're at it.....let's not minimize the enormous value brought to the table by the one and only creepy....very very very creepy.....Michael Musto.
John Dean is the 6th Man off the Bench.
To the staff of Olbermannwatch.com.....great little video.....keep those coming !!!
Maybe the "list" can be featured in a future snippet.
A Grateful Little Feechie
Ohio Mike, you described the first winners so aptly in more ways than first meets the eye.
The "maiden winners" reminds me of some bitter dried up old spinster Aunts I've known who were politely referred to in the past as 'maiden Aunts'.
Grammie
Great thanks, Robert.
You Nixonian-McCarthyite-Orwellian devil you .
(Although to be fair - and we're all fair to KO here - Olbermann hasn't used one of the above references for several months)

Musto voluntarily went on Fox News two weeks ago, and even though it was on Greg Gutfeld's "Red Eye" at 2 o'clock on the morning, that's automatic grounds of disqualification from the Great Thanks Hall of Fame at best, and possible Worst Person in the World status if Musto ever pulls such a stunt again (though he already may be suffering the Wrath of Olbermann for his Fox News transgression, since he's been using the similar-sounding Maria Milito more and more as of late for his end-of-show pop culture segments. Meanwhile, with Milto, Olby gets to keep both the mindless fluff and the name alliteration from his guest, but a lot of people could have told you for years that Keith's an alliterate).

Robert, for your link round-up:
"....Porn star Jenna Jameson supports Hillary Clinton, and the world is certainly waiting with bated breath to see who will get former gubernatorial candidate Mary Carey's endorsement (which most likely won't match Keith Olbermann's)."

Actually John Turley has been a guest on O'Reilly's show and Glen Beck's so I don't think being a guest on Fox News is an automatic disqualification. Wolfman must win this. He has always been Keith's perfect 2nd banana.
Factor --
True on Turley, but he argues with O'Reilly when he's on there, while Musto was joking behind enemy lines when he was on "Red Eye". That's almost a capital offense.
(As for Beck, I'm not sure how that works -- He's definitely on Olby's S-list, but he's not on Fox News, so he can't play it up as though Beck is merely another evil spawn of Roger Ailes. On the other hand, Keith was trying to out Anderson Cooper even before Beck started his show on Headline News, so just appearing as a host on CNN is at the very least a Class A misdemeanor and possibly a minor felony offense on Olbyplanet.)
Good site. Thanks!
