Once again our pals over in Secaucus have helped themselves to content from Olbermann Watch without so much as a "hat tip". Can't say we're surprised. You know what they say about imitation, right?
UPDATE: Never let it be said that the Countdown staff is nothing if not courteous. They not only posted my comment but provided a "hat tip" to ICN and Olbermann Watch (granted, they labeled OW as "the people that hate us"). I suppose with Keith off in L.A., they are all in a pretty good mood over there. I left another comment on the Newshole blog assuring them that we over at OlbyWatch don't "hate" the staff at Countdown - that it would be like hating the people that built the pyramids because the Pharaoh was a megalomaniac.

Updated screen grab from Newshole below:

Great comment RC, on the AmessNBC website. I was thinking of adding a comment in regards to their mentioning that Bill O uses derogatory names every 6.8 seconds. But i couldn't remember all of the allowable derogatory words used by Olbymoron. If u have a chance maybe u could leave that list of names on the MSNBC website.
there's an update with a link on the msnbc site right now to olbywatch saying:
Update: Cavuto screengrab courtesy of the people that hate us via ICN ...thought bubble created by TheNewsHole's trained MS-Paint technicians.
We don't hate you. We are just here to keep you honest.
Truly amazing-the future of broadcast news has stories on American Idol and cat and chicks. Bill O has indepht interview with George Tenet. I wonder what olby's beloved all important demo is watching tonite.
Probably the same demo that watched Jason Bateman incoherently spout theories about Bart Simpson's cartoon naughty bits and regale us with stories about a nude scene on Arrested Development. You know, the intellectual crowd.
Oh, my goodness... I don't hate those people. I feel for them. I'm sure they've suffered enough with having the News Hole as their boss.
BTW, since Imus has gone the way of mass hysteria, I've eaten breakfast to Fox and Friends several times. I don't think they've gotten the memo about not saying the large granite-face monolith Moai name, because the sports caster host on the show made some snark remark about "Mr Olbermann" the other day.
Cecila really loves that word "moai".
How sad is it that you have to ADVERTISE to get dirt on Keith and your boy Bill O walks around with both feet in his mouth? Very is the answer. Very very sad.
Cecila really loves that word "moai".

No, we're just friends.
The clip was about a couple seconds long. How do you know that they did not freeze frame the content themselves?
Oh, now they've got you EXACTLY where they want you Bob!
You've been COOPTED!
> How do you know that they did not freeze frame the content themselves?
Because there's a small, inconspicuous something in the OlbyWatch frame grab that was not part of the actual broadcast. Sort of like a watermark. And it's there on the News Hole frame grab too. Besides the fact that they have admitted pilfering.
Once again, Democrats are allowing the radical rightwing to control the terms of the debate on what happens after the veto. Article after article written about the aftermath talks about troops not be relieved by reinforcements, equipment not being repaired, because the Congress has not provided emergency supplemental funds.
What?!?!?
This president is going to allow troops to continue to be in harms way without proper protection and provision, and it is just written about as a fact!
That disgusting and immoral position should have triggered -- and should have been in the run-up to the veto -- loud and uncompromising protests that would make the anti-Imus cries sound quiet.
In this space, I have written time and again about the Democrats need to shove right back down their throats their outrageous claims or, in this case, their actions. Instead, Democrats answer the charges or assume the inevitability of Bush's actions. It does not take a genius to realize that that also puts the Democrats in a poor negotiating position. Unfortunately, the Democrats also lost an opportunity to grill General Petraeus on that subject: would he, as the Commander, allow any troop who is not properly provisioned to be in harms' way?
Bush apparently believes that he can play chicken with our troops, vetoing a bill that provided adequately for them. He also believes that a new coalition can be hammered together to get him what he wants. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid should emerge from today's meeting with one statement: that Bush's failure to approve the funding places the onus on the Commander-in-Chief to protect the troops, and to take whatever measures are necessary to do so.
How can we, as a nation, accept the Commander-in-Chief playing chicken with our troops?
Look what we've accepted this dope to do for 6 years !

anonyloon, did you know that the father of a fallen soldier gave him the pen to veto the bill with?
Where is May 2's episode explanation from either Eschatz or Johnny Dollar?
So no show review for tonight? Johnny Dollar should would of had fun with tonight's episode.
While CHeney was at Halliburton the company, contrary to US law, had an office in Iran. Dick Cheney leaves his leadership position of Hallburton to become Vice President of the United States, retaining deferred stock options. Cheney starts a war based on overt lies, and gives his company billions in no-bid contracts. Since Cheny has been VP Halliburton stock has quadrupled. Cheney's "deferred" stock options become available to him in....2009. "Deferred"? Now Halliburton's corporate offices are in the Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
...oh yeah, and over 3000 US troops are dead, an unknown number of Halliburton employees are dead, and something between 150,000 and 650,000 Iraqis are dead.
That's all anyone needs to know about this war - America has been conned.
Cheney does not make any money from Halliburton's contracts. His compensation from his severence package is deferred, not his stock options. That means he gets a set amount every year...before entering office in 2001, Cheney bought an insurance policy that guaranteed a fixed amount of deferred payments from Halliburton each year for five years so that the payments would not depend on the company's fortunes.
He does retain stock options, but he is legally bound by an agreement he signed which turns over power of attorney to a trust administrator to sell the options at some future time and to give the after-tax profits to three charities. The agreement specifies that 40% will go to the University of Wyoming (in Cheney's home state), 40% will go to George Washington University's medical faculty to be used for tax-exempt charitable purposes, and 20% will go to Capital Partners for Education. The agreement states that it is "irrevocable and may not be terminated, waived or amended," preventing Cheney from taking back the options at a later date.
As for when Dick Cheney was at Halliburton, that was under Clinton, who was free to prosecute Halliburton for any illegalities. Except, the Clinton Administration kept giving Halliburton contracts, like supporting the troops in the Balkan conflict.
Sorry, Sir Loin, maybe they buy that crap on olbyloon sites, but not here.

R. Cox: your comments on the NEWSHOLE board where pretty funny. Be careful not to take this as flattery and ask yourself why are they acknowledging OW?
Great Thanks, SLOB is a prime example of a person that keeps their face buried in sites like the puffington post. I have posted the same link over there. They refuse to acknowledge FACTS and reply by calling me a troll or a wingnut, like lil mikey does. When proven wrong, just call that person a troll. What else can they do? Refute FACTS? Won't happen.
I'll tell you why. Because they want people to visit here, and that will increase Countdown's ratings. Why should it matter to them if people are watching it because they like it or hate it? As long as they're watching.....

"Charity" my ass. Are you a total rube? In regard to a nine-to-twenty million dollar windfall a charity is just an expensive form of money laundering. There's the tax break for Cheney or Halliburton, depending on how the "gifts" are arranged, but there's also the cover bought by the appearance of generosity that could be used to deflect attention from closely associated financial activities.
I know nothing of "Capitol Partners", but George Washington is loaded with neocon cultists, and I can't imagine that the administration of U of Wyoming isn't loaded with Cheney cronies. An easy way for Cheney to recover this money would be requesting huge speaking fees for Freinds of Dick.
Whatever the mob might do - these people do.

Just like BJ Clinton does?
Of course there's a tax break for charitable giving, that's how the government encourages charity. Why would anybody complain about giving millions to education? Unless you just hate Cheney and figure you have to find a way to hate whatever he does, because it just MUST be sinister.
Two Universities and Capital Partners for Education, whose website says "is the only youth organization in the Washington DC area that provides students with a combination of private high school scholarships, adult mentors, and academic support and enrichment opportunities."
Translation: they get poor kids out of sh-tty public schools that liberals want to force the kids to stay in.

I know, I know; I'm biased and subjective - blinded by left-wing hatred. You may be right.
All I can say is watch the news in the next 12 months count the indictments, plea bagains, and convictions surrounding the VP. There will be no reason for me to appologize for my jaundiced opinion of Dick Cheney.
"Olbyloon"? "He was great-thanksed"?
You guys are GENIUSES! Seriously!
Thanks for the left wing hit piece. At least they printed half the story.
Half the story should be adequate for a half-wit, like you, Lisa Simpson. Bush does believe poor people, including poor children, should have a difficult life and be punished for being poor. Everyone knows that, and no one is denying it.

philby, I don't think my tax dollars should go for health care for illegals. What part of "illegal" do you people not understand? Bush thinks the same thing. Hence, the veto.
As usual Lisa Simpson has no idea what people are talking about. Four (4) days before he realized what Bill-o said, and three (3) days before he realized what Rush said

How are those latest "scandals" coming for ya? Whole lotta nothin', philby. As usual.
I didn't divert from anything. Any evidence to support your racist remarks? A very simple question, philby.
^ Now, that is a diversion! Wow!
Thanks, philby. You're just a wealth of info.
