Keith Olbermann makes his much anticipated (by him) appearance on Family Guy in the aptly named episode "It Takes A Village Idiot (and I Married One)". Rumor has it the name of Olbermann's character is an homage, in part, to the Managing Editor of Olbermann Watch.
EPISODE SUMMARY:
When Lois runs for mayor of Quahog to stop illegal dumping by the evil Quahog Oil Company, she isn't the front-runner until she "dumbs down" her political views by repeating "9/11" over and over. Once in office, she's corrupted by the power and starts accepting bribes so that she can buy herself expensive trinkets. Meanwhile, Peter's enjoying being the "first lady" and all of the perks that go along with it. Olbermann plays Bob Groosebeard, the head of Quahog Oil. Keith's character co-opts Lois by buying her a fur coat. Lois has a change of heart about her political career.
That was it? all of 2 minutes and you can't tell it's him..and I quess he'll milk for the next few days too..the funny thing is the only place where KO can get real ratings is on a show on a FOX network...HA..HA..HA. :)
I am editing the video now. Will it have it uploaded shortly.
OK done. I only put in the clips where Olbermann's character is actually in the scene. If you want to see the whole thing you're going to have to buy the DVD when it its released.
Bob,
How is this clip an "indictment" of the "deplorable" K.O.?
Oh, wait. I get it now.

I don't recall saying that this clip was an "indictment" of the "deplorable" K.O.? It's just something Keith did that was interesting and of course we are going to post about it here and encourage folks to discuss the episode, Keith's character, how he in his role, or anything else.
Did you WATCH the show tonight or is this just your usual knee-jerk post?
Olbermann overacted as always.
Oh, wait. He sounds that pompous in real life, too. My bad.
Bob,

What's the purpose of this site, again?
"Know something about Keith Olbermann?
Send it to us!"
I guess that covers the "anything else" part, again, as long as the "the Managing Editor of Olbermann Watch" can be included as the "Rumor has it".
Has I've said before, thanks Bob. It's your dime and I appreciate the free freak show.

booby, haven't you realized that you are the 'freak' in this freak show?

Bovine is wising up!
Didn't fall for the "It's a TYPO" trick this time!
Glad to have learned ya sumthin', boy.
another Murrow moment
Most folks will hear this and -- if they care at all -- think "Oh, Martin Mull is doing another cartoon voice."
So what? The show was still funny!
Keith still beats having one of those conservative cretins do a voice over.....
Leave it to Ubermoronn to ruin an otherwise excellent cartoon. Where did he come up with that ridiculous voice? The award for stiffest cameo appearance in a cartoon ever: Keith Olbermahn
Alex Borstein (Lois) said that Keith was the perfect "unlikable creep". Evidently, she wasn't referring to his Bob Grossebeard character.
Bob Grossbeard is a rendition
Of Keith's jock-sniffer ambition
The mustache, the suit,
That voice, what a hoot.
Big failures are Olby's tradition
I couldn't tell the difference between his voice and Adam West. All that self-promotion for this? It was very anti-climactic.
"It was very anti-climactic."
Kind of like his sex life.
The promotion was much longer than the event, but I have a feeling that happens a lot with this man.
