Ever wonder who these OlbyLoons really are? One of our most ardent and tenacious critics, who sometimes goes under the name "Dark Power", has taken to the YouTube airwaves with a 9 minute "special comment" denouncing Olbermann Watch, Richard Cox (that would be me) and Italian comic Jason Marsen (that would be Jewish comedian Jackie Mason), among others. It's long. It's really long. But trust me. It's worth watching in all its OlbyLoon Goodness. Enjoy!
NOTE: this video had 1 view when I linked it and no ratings. I gave it FIVE STARS! Please support our loyal readers - give Dark a good rating!
For those who might not be familiar with the Dark Power Show, Dark Power named me Worst Person in His World back in March, a withering attack from which I have yet to recover.
From both sides of his mouth does he drool
"Dark Power" the consummate fool
Praise sniffer of jocks
Denounce "Richard" Cox
Post on You Tube and look like a tool
The poster child of the loons! Who would have guessed? He's a mouth breather!
awwwww... he's seems very sweet, if a little confused.
Cut him a break. He'sa groupie but basically a good kid.
He does write well, Bob. Have you considered inviting him to do the Olbyloon Perspective Blog here?
sorry, it was sooooo bad I could not finish watching it.
Cecelia: I don't think I would want this loon writing his "Olbyloon Perspective Blog" here, we already have that, its called the MAIN STREAM MEDIA!
He doesn't write badly, from his letter.
There have been some noises from our evil Overlords here about having a quest Olbyloon blog and I think this guy is PERFECT for the job!
Man. That was painful....even for me.
Hey give the guy a little credit at least he's not living in his parents basement and in his bathrobe.
How many 'Big Macs' does he down a day?
He had to cut it short. His mom had to drive him to his job at Hardees.
Dark Power? Is he the one that hangs outside a theatre three months before a Star Wars Movie so he can be the first in?

You think 'mainstream' is two words, and you criticize someone else's writing?
Oh Boy....
I think the biggest obstacle to getting Dark Power is that he's got his own show...
Wayne's World! Party time! Excellent!
What was it that Gunnery Sergeant Hartman said...?
"Bullsh-t, I bet you could suck a golf ball through a garden hose!"
MAIN STREAM MEDIA
I wrote that way to put emphasis on STREAM (as in PISS), dumbass.
Almost was expecting him to pull a gun and shoot himself at the end.I was so disappointed.

I can't decide if that's the funniest thing I've ever seen or the saddest.
This joker needs a life.
Olbermann isn't going to sue anyone over Karmabites. You can't sue someone over something that's true now can you?
Dark Power = dim bulb.
"Dark Power"?!?!?! hahahahahaha
dude, script your comments next time, you bumble around like Doh-lbermann
I couldn't get past his voice--has he reached puberty yet? Shouldn't his voice have changed at some point?
Egads, he reminded of that Deniro character(was it Rupert Pupkin?) from The King of Comedy. I wonder if he dreams of being El Naranja's Ed Mcmahon like co-host? I certainly hope so, He flatters the medium of video and would be a natural on Countdown. :-D
Wow, I would not have believed it possible if I had not seen it for myself. Dark power truly is a Star Wars geek with no life. Some advise for dark power. Stick to writing you comments. Putting them on tape does you no good.

Obviously you never 'get it'
I have no doubt that 'Dark Power' could write a very long book on new scathing rejection lines based on his own experiences with chicks.
Grammie
OMG, that was painful....how can you go on for over 7 minutes and get the the names wrong over and over and over....Jackie Mason is only one of the most well-known comedians ever. And for all the harping on RC's name (love the repeated "Cocks" jokes, keep up the good work!) how about getting it right once in a while.
"His videos never get over 3 stars"(paraphrase, no way I could sit through that again to get the quote exact) and then show us a pages full of four and five star ratings.....LMFAO, Dark. You just contradicted yourself! What was that you said about half a brain?
THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH! ...........
THERE WERE DIFFERENT GRAPHICS AND DIFFERENT BACKGROUND MUSIC!! HAHAHA! CAN'T YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE?!?!?! I MEAN THERE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SEGMENTS OF THE SHOW!!!
-
Darkpower is one hell of an investigator. Meaningless difference, his whole show is the same except for his oddball segments and american idol (fox) promoting. he's fox's bitch.
Dark Power really caught you in a LIE!!!!!
Does it ever occur to him that theres no distinction whatsoever from top newsmaker and worlds worst segments, except as noted, the graphics and sound. DP is the one the one without the brain (as we clear thinker's know ;) , but he needs to to hear it, can he read, or can he only watch video?

dumba$$HUH?
Dark Power rocks!
I would never have guessed, but it's apparently true. Jiminy Glick is real.
Is that a bong on the table behind him over his shoulder? If it isn't, it should be. Then he could have an excuse for his nonsensical ranting.
Did he even bother watching it before he posted this absurdity? I mean, who could watch that and say, "Yeah! I can't wait to post this so the whole world can see me?" I pity the poor boy.
If it's a bong, it fits with the porn picture on the wall behind him, too. Them liberals gotta have their porn and drugs.
A freaking mental midget that Cecilia likes.
Doesn't it figure !
But he is a little brighter than Jeff !

Jeff is telling us he's never viewed porn or smoked a joint.
If he has..it's another example of him making a total hypocrite of himself.
in the 70's..I used to go out with a girl who's father was a life long military man.His politics and philosophy ran a little to the right of Spiro Agnew's.
Jeff is to the right of him.
He spouts every right wing clique that's been out there for the last 35 years.
Flakey Foont/Dan Quayle/George Bush rolled up into a neat little royalking package !
You couldn't make him up !
lil mikey, too cowardly to use his name, poor boy.
Jeffrey accepts being a hypocrite.
He's more into guessing who's writing what !

Keep guessing little man !

it would be an improvement !
The Republican Ten seemed to be competing over: Who would stay in Iraq the longest? Who would cut taxes the deepest? Who would be alright with firing gay Americans? Who would jump the highest if Roe v. Wade was reversed?
There's not a good candidate in the bunch !
That's what I thought, more lies from lil mickey.
wrong again..dolt.
Your 0% accuracy on all subjects is intact !
I'm right, lil coward.
keep swatting at the air and cursing the darkness.
Hey...do you even know who Flakey Foont is ?
I know that you were the one that said Gonzales was going to be gone by monday 2 months ago!
Last night on Anderson Cooper 360°, Anderson Cooper asked David Gergen, the Weekly Standard's Stephen Hayes, and Arianna Huffington to pick our headline for the GOP debate. A Competition to See Who Could Be the Biggest Neanderthal was hers. The Republican Ten seemed to be competing over: Who would stay in Iraq the longest? Who would cut taxes the deepest? Who would be alright with firing gay Americans from their jobs? Who would jump the highest if Roe v. Wade was reversed? Who would build the biggest fence around America? Who would put an end to stem cell research the fastest? Who would reject evolution most passionately? Stephen Hayes countered that it was a good night for Republicans if they were called Neanderthals by Arianna Huffington. But the problem for the Republican Party as it presented itself to the nation last night is not that it was at odds with my views, but that it is at odds with the views of the American people. By significant majorities, the American people believe in the science of evolution, don't want Roe overturned, don't want to turn back the clock on job discrimination laws, and do want to bring our troops home from Iraq.
Flashing back to the Reagan era is one thing; flashing back to the Dark Ages is quite another.
If there ever was proof that the Republican party was the party of YESTERDAY, it was last night .
I agree.
The denial of evolution by at least three of the candidates was the most breathtaking moment of the debate. My head is still reeling at the implications of this, that willful ignorance and religious superstition is so acceptable that these individuals had no qualms about tacitly endorsing creationist nonsense in front of the whole world.
When I was watching the debate I thought I was having a bad dream. I found it hard to believe that this pathetic group has come to symbolize the Republican party. The GOP solution to the country's problem seems to be limited to reversal of Roe vs. Wade and bible and handguns in the public square. It is clear that the GOP party has nothing to offer. The fact that Stephen Hayes of the ultra conservative American Prospect liked it just proves my point.

I think the question of evolution is sort of a back door anti-religion litmus test. The better more relevant inquiry would be to ask candidates if they feel that creationism ought to be taught along side evolution or as a substitute for it.
Whether a candidate believes in evolution or not is generally a belief based on a strict interpretation of a religious account of the creation of the world and therefore a private belief of faith.
You might as well have asked candidate Kennedy if he really believed the Pope to be God's agent on earth or if he believed in the immaculate conception or to have asked Carter if he really believed that Jesus raised the dead and was resurrected himself after his death.
If we have a Jewish candidate wouldn't it be considered "out of bounds" if we asked them if they believed that the Jews are the "chosen people" or in the legacy behind Passover?
Again, the question that maintains a respect for private religious belief and that is more relevant would be the question about whether or not a candidate would insist that his PRIVATE faith-based belief be forced upon others.
It is clear that the GOP party has nothing to offer. The fact that Stephen Hayes of the ultra conservative American Prospect liked it just proves my point.

First of all, it's a logical fallacy to argue that the contention that conservatives have nothing to offer is proved by the fact that a another conservative disagrees with that contention...
Secondly, The American Prospect is a well-known liberal publication and is NOT "ultra-conservative" publication (to say the least)...
Cecilia gets so wrapped up in her reasoning positions that she misses the whole point.
The Republican Party does have nothing to offer America.
You have 3 candidates that live in the 50's and don't believe in evolution. They not only don't have a plan to bring our troops home, they don't even WANT to bring our troops home from the Iraqi Civil war.( You think America will vote for a pro Iraq war candidate ?)
They think that the "future " is denying gays rights, stopping stem cell research and not dealing with healthcare and global warming.
Nice plan !
You'll be as surprised when you lose in 08' as you were this past November .
"The better more relevant inquiry would be to ask candidates if they feel that creationism ought to be taught along side evolution or as a substitute for it."
it might be a question to ask the religious right leaning GOP but not educated people.
Creationism DOES NOT belong in a classroom.
You want to fill the heads of little ones with religious dogma..do it at home.
You want science, you teach evolution in science class.
Amazing !
When you're still debating evolution, you really lost the debate.
Wrong on Iraq War, George Bush, global warming, ignoring the Constitution, torture etc.
You name it, you've lost the debate.
Don't forget in most polls the American people favor the the Democrats in the war against terror.
The Olbyhaters at this sight are always the last to know.
Which polls are these? Have any links?

I agree. That's why it's not important who believes what based on their religious faith.
The relevant question is whether they would insist that it be taught in the classroom or imposed on others in any other way.

Actually, I was debating YOUR reasoning. You made the illogical statement and you were wrong about the politics of The American Prospect.
I've already addressed the evolution matter. It doesn't matter what Republicans "believe" about it anymore than it matters if Hillary believes in the miracles in the Bible. What matters is if you want those beliefs imposed on others.
As to stem cell research. Embryonic stem cell research has not been "stopped", just restricted to existing stem cell lines if funded by feds. No restrictions on it at all, if funded privately, or even if the states decide to fund. If you'll read up on the matter, however, you'll find that private enterprise has chosen to put their money mostly into adult stem cell research because it seems to be yielding the most benefits.
As to gay marriage, has Hillary, Edwards, or Obama endorsed it?
As to global warming, Romney, McCain, and Guiliani have all stated it would be a priority in their administrations.
As to health care, there was a perscription drug benefit added to Medicare under Bush and a bill to offer the same tax cuts for insurance premiums that are granted to businesses is currently lost somewhere in congress. With this benefit consumers can own their own insurance policies instead of their employers.
There are also ideas about Social Security, school vouchers, medical savings plans.
The issue isn't a lack of ideas on the right. The issue is the philosophical difference between the right and the left.
Of course, if you don't know that The American Prsopect is a liberal magazine, you probably aren't keeping up with these issues anyway and you certainly would be clueless as to what policies the right has advocated.
A cnn poll, I should have known. lmao!

Could you be more of an idiot ?
Anything that isn't within your small frame of right wing reference material is discounted by you. You don't seem very educated or opened minded..actually your mind is as closed as a steel trap.
Must be lonely and sad in your isolated little world.
Especially as you see that most of your ideas have all proven to be debunked by reality.

Nice sweeping generalization to discount an individual's intelligence.
Doesn't wash though.
All u had to do is see the pathetic group of GOP contenders and see how they want gays fired..don't believe in evolution, against stem cell, for the war etc.
They are in total contrast to the bulk of the American people now.
No wonder that 60% of Republicans are not happy with their choice from this group.
Something YOU would never mention.
Your blind partisanship comes out with almost every one of your posts.
( and you're always the last one to know)
Funny !
anonyloon, I have never claimed to know all, I don't preach to people, I don't try to make rules on someone else's blog. We have the pleasure of all this being done, already, by a certain olbyloon. Having said that, I know enough to know that any poll conducted by CNN will be biased and hardly fair. I never said I would "discount" the poll, as you stated I said. I take CNN polls with a grain of salt. Olbyloons love to put words in other peoples mouths, for some reason. "Debunked?" Funny, I don't recall being debunked. Try as you may.
Having said that, I know enough to know that any poll conducted by CNN will be biased and hardly fair.
CNN is one of the top 3 news organizations in the world....but the dumbass thinks it's biased and unfair.
Any person, news organization etc that speaks the truth ( translation: bad news for Bush) is biased.
With even the small brain you have Jeffrey, you should be able to figure this out.
But alas your far right wing lie sites just have you so hoodwinked into believing ie. CNN is biased , that you fall for it, hook line and sinker !
Just remember, your side said we were winning the war in Iraq as of a few months ago.
Just remember , your side there is no civil war in Iraq and if you differ it's "treason".
The truth is finally coming out...but you still haven't gotten it.
"The truth is finally coming out...but you still haven't gotten it."
And Jeff never will get it!
It really is disconserting to think that there might actually are more out there llike Jeff....but it certainly serves as one explanation as to how we ended up with the the incompetant and ethically challenged 'leaders' we now stuck with in Washington.

Bovine, for someone who claims humility by saying "(not) to know all" and "not to be preachy," then coming out 2 and 1/2 hours later doing exactly what you say you don't do,
you do a MIGHTY FINE IGNORANT HYPOCRITE.
Thank you, Bob!!
Wrong, no preaching, no making rules. Below average, lmao!
Chicken Blogger, you made a very definitive statement that:
"CNN is one of the top 3 news organizations in the world...."
Just a few questions:
First, what two news organizations share the honor with them?
Second, how are they ranked?
Third, upon what outside sources do you base your bold statement?
Fourth, even if "CNN is one of the top 3 news organizations in the world" what bearing does that have on their polling apparatus?
Of course it could be the result of my narrow and constricted, according to you, sources of information but I am sure that I've never heard that CNN is either in the top three of the world's news organizations or polling organizations.
Please enlighten us all.

"CNN is one of the top 3 news organizations in the world....but the dumbass thinks it's biased and unfair."
anonyloon, can you say ted turner? fair? lol
Jeffloon, Ted Turner does not own CNN, and hasn't for more than 11 years. It was sold to Time Warner in 1995.
Best in Entertainment, Animation and News
Turner Broadcasting operates worldwide entertainment, animation and news networks and businesses whose performances led their respective industry segments in 2005, including:
TNT was advertising-supported cable’s #1 network in prime time with adult viewers, and TBS was #1 with younger adults;
Cartoon Network was #1 in prime time with children, while Adult Swim was #1 in total-day delivery of young adults and young men; and
CNN and CNN Headline News garnered bigger audience gains in prime time than all other 24-hour news networks.
Silence from the debunked one......what's this, the umteenth time? Think before you post!
Jeff sez: ""Silence from the debanked one"......Was that meant for ME Jeff?
I guess I didn't know I had been 'debunked' again. You have this funny little way of 'debunking' people in such a way that nobody knows they have supposedly been 'debunked' but you.
You cut and pasted an irrelevancy about Turner Broadcasting and that supposedly 'debunked' what I posted about Time Warner buying CNN in 1995?
Once again Jeff, Turner sold CNN to Time Warner in 1995. Yes, he did remain on as Vice Chairman in charge of the News Division until 2003, but then he gave up that position as well. He has now given up his last ties as part of CNN's management last year when he announced he would not run for re-election on it's board of directors.
Once again Jeff...Turner has not owned CNN since 1995.
Jeff, not only did you fail to 'debunk' me, 'again'...you have yet to 'debunk' ANYONE on this discussion board since you started posting your unending stream of nonsense several months ago.
lil mickey, spin, spin, lie, lie. It's what we've come to expect.
"You cut and pasted an irrelevancy about Turner Broadcasting and that supposedly 'debunked' what I posted about Time Warner buying CNN in 1995?"
Amazing how Mike thinks a posting from the Time Warner web site is "irrevelant." Would that fall into the category of a "pointless cut and paste?" LMAO!
Jeff, that wasn't spin...that was FACT! Ted Turner does not own or run CNN.
Jeff, let me let you in on a few little secrets:
1) - SAYING someone has been 'debunked' doesn't make it so.
2) - SAYING someone 'lied' does not make it so.
3) - SAYING someone is 'spinning' does not make it so.
You have to back up your arguments with facts...something you NEVER do.
royalking,
He's right: Your post was irrelevant. Perhaps you are too stupid to know what a relevant post looks like.
If so, I apologize for drawing the world's attention to it...
TB operates CNN, only you and assrat (olbyloons) don't understand what "relevant" means. Make that 2 lies for lil mickey and another for assrat.
Greetings, all.
I have made it in from the North for a few days of R&R in the form of a midterm break. Today is the Spring Bank Holiday, and in true English fashion, the morning was dreadful, rain and wind, but the afternoon broke into a lovely, partly sunny, gusty and cool period. Just had the most lovely micro-brewery bitter. Room temperature, slightly clouded with some suspended material, but what a rich flavor and what a kick! Shames Coors. I still have four (4) weeks in term left, and I'll be done. It has been a marvelous experience. My students are constructing a special language, known only to us, with a wondrous mix of English, major European languages, Farsi, Cantonese and Indian and Arabic languages, all with some unique elements. What a wondrous opportunity this has been. To find so much true diversity, yet unity in purpose: understanding the fundamental tie language has; the power of a shared language; the dangerous exclusivity of language. I love the openess and the inclusivity of the Europeans and the Brits. The last true egalitarians left on the face of the Earth ...! But, I do long for home. Not much opportunity to keep up with the old group. At school, a dial up, if you can imagine! And, on BT. I am surprised we don't have to turn a crank. I think it is to keep students focused on the work at hand, because we do have a wonderful, complex and efficient intranet. But, OW is too (technically) taxing to keep the connection. Most of my news of home is through the odd newspaper and CNN International at the local public house. I did see McCain came across as the in the so-called debate and Rudy came across as , more the pity for him. I also see that Hillary cannot avoid the cheap and phoney accent. I should still be here for Blair's announcement. Would that Bush follow such an honorable course.
Well, enough for now. Off to a night in the West End, and then I go to Dover for a hop to Calais and a quasi-French day. Then, the long drudge to the North for the end of the term.
I think of all of you often, especially the old reprobate and semi-literate Jeff and all your personae, including the odious and infamous Royal Pain.
/s/ Eunice Philby.

You 2 idiots read it yourself. Not only are you olbyloons, but, not very bright olbyloons, no surprise here.
"Semi-literate Jeff".....no truer three words have ever been written on this site.
As for Ted Turner, I suppose Jeff probably also believes that Colonel Sanders still owns and operates Kentucky Fried Chicken....LOL

Here's proof Ted Turner/Hanoi Jane has ties to CNN, which was my original implication. Fairly simple.
You haven't 'proved' a thing Jeff, except in your own feeble mind.....LOL.
Jeff, lets just say that Cheney has more 'ties' to Haliburton than Turner does to CNN.

When debunked, play the ole "divert" card! A common olbyloon/far leftist tactic.
Facts like Cheney's ties to Halliburton( and Cheney's secret Energy meetings) makes Jeff's head spin. So out comes gibberish.
Always count on him for that !
Always count on lil mickey to change his name when debunked!
