How many times has Falwell been the WPITW???

would not be surprised if he was named it once again this evening,,,for not dying sooner..

    I hate Olbermann

Falwell has always been one of the biggest blowhards in the Christian right wing !

And, that is a truly foul wind.

Falwell has always been one of the biggest blowhards in the Christian right wing !

    ---

And, that is a truly foul wind.

    Debate's over. Fred Thompson wins.

No one will top his video response to Michael
Moore in tonight's Dog & Pony Show. They
might as well not even try...

... but it does show that there's a slick team
already in place for the Official Run.

Would not be surprised to find numerous
    Ailes/Rove connections to said team.
Looks like Thompson will eventually be
the "christened" one by the Powers That
Be, much like Bush was in '00.

And as far as the "Reverend" Falwell is
concerned, the less said about him, the
    better.

But, to keep it somewhat KO related... it
was funny to see MSNBC use as a source
    WhiteHouse.org. Miss Contessa made an
utter fool of herself by parroting a quote
from their site. Too bad it was done so
early, because it would have been perfet
fodder for The Orange One to have
glommed onto for a CD segment.

At least Chris Matthews was there to do a
quick cover. Even then, Miss Contessa
seemed clueless (yeah, "seemed" is a
    generous term)...

Hey, yous --- In America, we respect and value human life. More over, we respect and cherish those that have died, especially the clergy. You foul ruinous people d are hatefull and not willing to be nice about something as sacrisanct as a death of a great person. You are worse than ordinary "Olbyloons" or Liberals. Shame on you. You have no humanity left. Jerry Falwell is ten thousand times the person you will ever be --- & it shows!!!!!

I hope Falwell is realizing right now how stupid believing in a diety is... fuck you gluttonous fatman...

You mean the Jerry Falwell who said 9/11 was retribution against the gays ?
    That "great" person ?

When you take to admiring Jerry Falwell, you've definitely drank all of the KoolAid in the well !

You better pray your right O'lielly. The consequences of faulty logic could, shall we say, burn your ass.

Most of the wars in history revolve around who has the best imaginary friend !

How do I say Fuck You to an imaginary diety ?

Can we get back to the debate please?

Romney good answer on Iraq. Brownback sounded weak.

Guiliani nailed it with his Fort Dix Six answer.

    D-ranged good irony.

I was half-listening. Was that Mike Huckabee getting of a great one-liner about John Edwards? What exactly did he say?

The federal govt spends money like John Edwards in a beauty shop.

One did not have to watch this debate for more than 30 seconds to realize what a first-class job that Fox News has done to produce it (as compared to the manic shriekfest that MSNBC slapped together). This is much more calm, professional effort.

I like Huckabee. I thought he was impressive in the MSNBC shriekfest debate.

Oh good. Here's the part where they turn on each other. This ought to be fun.

Gilmor takes the first real shot of these debate. Finally!

rUDY WITH THE BOB & WEAVE

RUDY WITH THE BOB & WEAVE

    Just got home

The Fred Thompson video today was priceless!!!!!!!!

If that was mostly Fred on his own, LOOKOUT!

I heard Congress voted to delay (2 years) letting Mexican Trucks into the U.S.

    Something like 400-1

    Anybody hear about this?

    Lively Crowd

    Double Gitmo - go Mitt!!!

Watching the post game show with Greta on the internet right now.

We all know who will be WPITW tomorrow night. FOX News for showing MSDNC how to run a real debate and not a circus. Anyone who thinks that Fox News did not hold a better debate than MSDNC is a fool. Olbermann’s jealousy and hatred of Fox News will force him to attack Fox.
If the Democrats have any brains, and want to be seen, they will debate on Fox News. I won't hold my breath.

I didn't watch the debate, but do any you Olby haters know who actually foiled the "Fort Dix Six " as you refer to them ?

It was a video store owner in Mount Laurel NJ,who saw them shouting their jihad slogans on a video and notified the local police.

Wonder how many republicans will take a bow for foiling this major threat to America ?

When Fred Thompson jumps in, it's all over. This debate was hands down 100 times the More Snot Nosed BroadCasters 'attempt' to cover a debate, though. Newt referred to Mathews and Ulbermahn as 'game show hosts' today, laughed my ass off.

Jeff..you can run but you can't hide.
You're fans await you over at the other page !

Bob it wasn't a video store owner in Mt Laurel

it was a clerk at a Circut City store.

Did you just get let out of the drunk tank?

    again?

Did you know that the Brothers got busted 21 times for driving without a license in and around Cherry Hill?

Is everybody in that state as stupid as Bob

    Well it is New Jersey.

The guy at Circut City must have just moved in from out of state.

By the way folks did you know that former New Jersey gov. James 'Gay American' McGrevey is becomming a priest?

I bet Bob can't wait for the first 'Rest Stop Service' on the New Jersey Turnpike.

    becoming.....oops! It's late

The Circuit city store is in Mt. Laurel .

As usual, you end up with egg on your face.
You and the disgraced Jeff should get together and have a beer.

The IQ level of that establishment would plunge considerably.

booby, let me get this straigt, when someone proves you wrong, they get egg on their face? Is that how it works?

Rudy spanked America blamer Ron Paul.
I would love to see him smack Hillary

Rudy spanked America blamer Ron Paul.
I would love to see him smack Hillary

Yes, he did, by putting words in his mouth (and the help of Wendell Gober). Of course, no one will care because Paul did not spit the words back out, which is his own fault. Not that he had a chance to begin with.

Mr Cox, I had my back to the TV, didn't see who said " We've been spending money like John Edwards in a beauty salon." The audience roared.

Fox News did a much better job with the debate then MSNBC. I think Rudy did good. I think Brownback did good. I haven't made my decision as to who to vote for yet in 2008, but I sure as hell who I'm not voting for. Ron "America Caused 9/11" Paul.

    OlbyLoon Math

video store owner = Circuit City clerk

Gotta love them OlbyLoons where reality is just a hop, skip and a jump away.

A vast improvement on the pitiful efforts MSNBC produced. I did think the set looked like the Jeopardy set though.

The questions were more germane and less loaded as well.

Matthews and the guy from Politico.com during the MSNBC Republican debate asked the silliest and most loaded, stereotype ladened questions.

What kind of question is "What do you dislike most about America"?

I'm sure it was all they could do to refrain from asking-- how many gays and people of color would you like to have lynched...

    Robert Cox,

    Prediction:
Ron Paul will be invited on Countdown and get Great Thanks!

I just googled MSNBC Republican Debate to look something up.

MSNBC is first and OW is second. I thougt that was kind of cute.

    Grammie

Sign me up for The Joker's prediction. I will virtually guarantee that Ron Paul will make his way to Countdown.

Heck, he did an interview on Youtube from a dorm room....that is about the equivalent to Countdown...although, the dorm room interview probably earned a higher viewership (Minus the TV Newser DVR add ons, of course).

Back on May 8, original reports were that it was a camera store owner. Of course that was been clarified over the past week, to be a teenage Circuit City clerk.

Of course you wouldn't know that if you get your news from Keith "Purported terrorist plot" Olbermann, who called it a Photomat.

At least Bob got the town right, I guess.

And damn, now I have egg on my face too, lol.

Now it appears that many hardcore Republicans...and, no surprise here.... Olbermann haters....are ready to eject REPUBLICAN Ron Paul from the party because he dared to state a divergent viewpoint....that happens to be far more in line with public opinion than the approved Republican position.

Tell me again how you believe in Democracy!

Ron Paul is actually a TRUE conservative....the kind I used to vote for before this current wave of false conservatism darkened our doorsteps.

    Joker --

He may not get an invite -- Ron's a bit too much of a loose canon for MSNBC to be sure he'll follow the "Countdown" script -- but there's no doubt that even if Paul doesn't show up, given Keith's rampant case of Giuliani Derangement Syndrome, Olbermann will "fact check" the Paul-Giuliani debate dust-up on Wednesday's show, and come down solidly on Ron's side.

    Joe Leiberman, Democrat.

Sure Mike, close up the country and hide from the rest of the world. Don't trade with anyone and put high tarrifs on all imported goods.
This really help the republican party under Herbert Hoover. Great Depression anyone?

I am glad you guys have dropped your pretensions to be "conservatives" and are openly ridiculing your party's traditional roots. The only thing that made Bushism powerfull and dangerous was that it could plausibly be confused with a real political philosophy, rather than the ad-hoc coalition of big-government dummies, Christianism, and irrational nationalistic anger that it really is.

Instead of the "compasionate conservatism" lie, now you've got candidates that stand up on a stage and openly call for "double-gitmo." As long as you're being an incoherant mob-leader looking to hang all the lawyers, why not 10x gitmo or infinity gitmo?).

But no one could outdo Giuliani's deceptive rewording of Ron Paul, which almost brought the rafters down with nationalist mob fervor. Straight out of Shakespeare, with Paul as Cinna the poet. Let's send the libertarian to Gitmo!!! Double Gitmo for him!!!! Whoooooohooooo, freedom is on the march.

You guys are, in a word, done. Double Gitmo indeed. What does "double gitmo" mean to you, Cox?

    "Great depression anyone?"

Possibly...when it finally comes time to pay the piper for the twin monsters of our record National debt, increasing by leaps and bounds every single day....and the HHUUGGEE trade deficit.

VOK, you are a true example of when a socialist tries to explain a conservative and a libertarian. Ron Paul is not just a Libertarian, he is an isolationist. When you have North Korea developing long rang missiles, isolationism kind of goes out the window. When a large part of your oil supply comes from the Middle East, isolationism goes out the window. George Bush is a democrat. "Democrats" are nothing more than socialist in disguise.

Conservatism has nothing to do with putting restrictions on free trade or taxing imported goods.

Conservatism has nothing to do with the war in Iraq, or our justifications for invading ...but many on this board continue to post as if it did.

You liberals have convinced me on Global Warming. Here is a cabon credit site to help us all get started saving the planet.

    http://www.carboncreditkillers.com/default.asp

Sorry Average French Socialist, Tancredo is my favorite candidate. If Rudy gets the nomination, he gets my vote. The real RINO on stage is McCain but I will vote for McCain if he gets the nod. Always remember, the worst Republican is better than the best "Democrat". Bush is a JFK Democrat un-like socialist Billary Rotten Clinton.

The Factor: Just because Bush is getting belieguered into obscurity, along with his party, for doing what he thinks is correct does not make him a John Fitzgerald Conservative. Also, if you mean that you are for Global Warming, you have to really step up to the plate. You came off quite sarcastic.

    "Whom Are We Listening To?
First, Ron Paul anointed Osama bin Laden the authentic expression of the entire Middle East. “I’m suggesting we listen to the people who attacked us and the reason they did it,” he declared. And: “We need to look at what we do from the perspective of what would happen if somebody did it to us.”
So, in other words, Osama bin Laden & Co. get to determine the legitimacy of our policies because these terrorists are the truest expression of the will of the people? Isn’t this a bit like saying a farmer can’t clear a field if it might upset a rattlesnake?

There are far, far, far more Arabs and other Muslims who did not become terrorists because of our actions in the Middle East. But their “perspective” accounts for nothing in Paul’s analysis. The upshot seems to be that our foreign policy must always be held hostage to whichever group of murderers decides to get pissed off at us. Sorry, no sale.

Even more annoying, Paul seems to invest in bin Laden a certain strategic omnipotence and takes his word for everything. This is usually a leftwing trope. The terrorists are “delighted” we’re in Iraq, he claims, because Osama bin Laden says so. Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t (my guess is that opinions vary wildly between those terrorists who are dead and in Hell and those who are still awaiting their travel orders). But either way, why on earth is their opinion dispositive? If, as Paul gushed, the CIA is correct that there is such a thing as “blowback” (and there obviously is) surely Osama bin Laden is as subject to this immutable law of the universe as the rest of us are. “Careful what you wish for” is good advice for terrorists and dictators, too. Or perhaps Saddam Hussein is still cackling with laughter about how he has the Americans exactly where he wants them?

Again, blowback hardly blows in only one direction. Paul invokes Ronald Reagan’s withdrawal from Beirut as a wise response to blowback. But many students of the rise of Islamism see Reagan’s painful decision as a terrible error, in that it provided one of the first lessons that America has a glass jaw. One could just as easily argue that the blowback from the pullout was worse than the decision to send the Marines there in the first place. Moreover, the moral variable is left out entirely. If you send cops into a mob hangout, the cops will face blowback from criminals with guns. That hardly means the cops had it coming.

When Paul suggests that we were attacked on 9/11 because we bombed Iraq for ten years, he seems to be suggesting that a) we were wrong to be bombing Iraq in the 1990s, b) we were wrong to have put Saddam Hussein in a “box” after the first Gulf War, and c) the first Gulf War was wrong in the first place (Paul essentially says as much elsewhere, so this seems like a fair interpretation). Now, before you even consider the soundness of these positions, you should at least recognize how they disprove his understanding of the Middle East. Kuwaitis and Saudis, for example, did not support Saddam’s invasion of Kuwait. Kurds and Shia were quite glad that we invaded, but then upset that we didn’t follow it through, though at least grateful that we ultimately prevented Saddam from re-launching his genocidal campaigns in the north and the south. And yet, all of these concerns matter nothing compared to the One True Voice of Osama bin Laden.
If you actually listen to more authentic voices than bin Laden’s — both democratic activists and Islamist bad guys — you’ll find that one of the real reasons “they hate us” is that we support their corrupt rulers and dictators (in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and elsewhere). Ron Paul’s vision of foreign policy would do nothing to dissuade that impression, because he wants to be “friends” with everybody, starting with those very same dictators. Such friendship would have led to Saddam having nukes in the 1990s and would, if implemented today, lead to Iran having them any minute now. More to the point, we were right to reverse Saddam’s aggression in 1991. We were wrong not to take out Saddam back then. And we were right to keep Saddam contained as much as we could. But not according to Paul."

This sums up Ron Paul pretty well.

The Factor: I was almost all for Ron Paul to be president. The sad fact is, this just may not be the time for him. It would be nice to have him as president during different times, but I will keep my eye out for somebody even better to run as a Libretarian-type like Ron Paul.

Bob you said a video store owner in Mt Laurel

Once again you end up with a 'Dirty Sachez' under your nose.

I'm sure father 'Jim 'Gay American' Mc Greevey' will be happy to hear that.

What makes Bush a JFK Democrat is the fact that he is for lower taxes, for strong defense, and for Big government.
I was trying to be sarcastic about global warming. The ultimate goal of the Global Warming scam is an attempt to implement population control much like the Chinese have.

Olbermann haters....are ready to eject REPUBLICAN Ron Paul from the party because he dared to state a divergent viewpoint....that happens to be far more in line with public opinion than the approved Republican position.

Tell me again how you believe in Democracy!

Ron Paul is actually a TRUE conservative....the kind I used to vote for before this current wave of false conservatism darkened our doorsteps."

I like the way liberals like this BOY keep saying the American people. Everyoe I know still backs GW and the war.

They'll eject him no faster than Olby's staff contacting Pauls affice last night to sit up an interview. Damn, you are stupid.

Paul is an idiot and completely ignorant to facts. No wonder why he appeals to losers like Mike.

    Debates: 2.5 Million Watch Fox
More than 2.5 million people watched Fox News Channel's coverage of the second GOP debate Wednesday night.

According to live plus same day ratings data, the network averaged 2,551,000 total viewers and 720,000 in the 25-54 demo from 9 to 10:30pm. By comparison, 1.7 million watched MSNBC's GOP debate on May 3.

Update: 5:12pm: According to live only data, FNC had 2,441,000 viewers with 663,000 in the 25-54 demo and 559,000 in the 18-49 demo.

Back to live plus: The pre-show at 8pm (mostly an O'Reilly repeat) averaged 1,449,000 viewers and 295,000 in the demo, significantly fewer than O'Reilly's average in the time slot.

The Hannity & Colmes post-show from 10:32 to 11pm delivered 2,009,000 viewers with 551,000 in the demo. From 11 to midnight, H&C averaged 1,245,000 with 350,000 in the demo.

A replay of the debate from midnight to 1:30am had 646,000 total viewers and 225,000 demo viewers...

The proof is in the pudding MSDNC fans.

There goes ole Jeff agin, anserin another post that wuz not addressed ta him. He cumplaned to me why just this very mornin bout answerin his posts to other folks cuz it wuz "none of my buzness"....Why he wuz so darned mad about it, he even called me a'prick'!

But here is is agin answerin posts that wuzn't addressed to him, and is nona his business.

    Know why...cuz he's a hypercrit!

No recap for tonight's epsiode? Boy this website is going down the gutter for sure.

Factor asks: "Isn't your whole basis for wanting to leave Iraq and wanting Bush out of office because the two are not popular with the American people."

NO! I felt invading Iraq was a monumentally stupid idea before they did it, and said so....back when it actually WAS popular with the majority of the American People. However, I REALLY did hope I was wrong. But unfortunately, I haven't been wrong about anything about Iraq yet.

    Again...I wish I had been!

I can honestly say I've never done, watched, bought, or believed anything based on popularity.

How bout those do nothing democrats, 28%! Probably be 25% by next week. below average patty/bob/nobodycareswhatyour nameis/anonyloon, your bbc's got nothing on Dr. Savage or anyone for that matter.

This, coming from a 0 star nothing. Never wrong! How come Ulbermahn doesn't have you as an expert on his comedy show/lie fest? You must have one comfy lazy boy to quarter back from as much time as you spend in it....

What happened to your slut pelosi's 100 day promises/lies? All she did was bat her eyes nine million times and rubbed shoulders with our enemy's. Now you're crying "it's Bush's fault" still! Will it be Bush's fault forever? Time for some new puking points, I think.

Pats, thank you so much. Every time I see your posts I am struck anew by the consummate freshness, originality and creativeness you display. It is inspiring to those of us who are what you might call 'one trick ponies'.

When I grow up I just hope that I can even approach your level of ingenuity and imaginativeness.

Alas, a generation that produces even one with your boldness and brilliance is rare.

I can't go on. I am running out of new and original words to describe your resourcefulness and novelty.

    Grammie

Janet, to think he calls himself a 'professor!' His poor students.

Did I call President Bush a failure? No. I see you did a horrible job apologising for slut pelosi, though. Blaming Bush for Pelosi's powerlessness, amazing.

You missed again Jeff...I never said I was "never wrong"...what I SAID was is that I haven't been wrong about Iraq yet.

    BIG difference!

By contrast, your boy Bush hasn't been right about Iraq yet.

Another example of how you always twist 1 or 2 little words into something that was never said....or even implied.

And Oh, Jeff...you did it AGAIN. You 'answered' a post that wasn't meant or directed at you...the same thing you were crying about me doing to you this morning.

    Hypocrite!

Wrong, mickey. I pointed out that you cryed "interjecting" while doing it yourself. BIG difference. I could care less who replies to who, you are the cry baby.

Fact is: You loyal moron BU$HWIPES own this baby.

The dems funded and voted for it, too. Mr. short term memory. Hillary, Ketchup, Feinstein they all voted for it.

Mr. "i'm for the little guy" got my hedge fund, he voted for it, too.

Listen to Jeff whine..."oh boo hoo hoo....you're the crybaby, not me....boo hoo hoo"....

Now....listen to Jeff write fiction again: "you cryed (sp) interjecting while doing it yourself. BIG difference."

Wrong AGAIN Jeff....I made a general observation to no one in particular about how civility goes out the window whenever you inject yourself into otherwise civil exchanges...and last night was a perfect example of that.

You then came back crying (yes Jeff...CRYING!)....about how your posts to AAP were "none of my business", ignoring the FACT that you inject yourself into other people's discussions ALL the time, while adding absolutely NOTHING positive whatsoever to that exchange.

Many - if not most - of the troops are assholes. Deal with it.
By: Diogenes on May 17, 2007 at 12:45am

Looky what I found on the puffington post. A nice liberal showing his 'support' for our troops. Guess what, he's a Bill Maher fan, shocker.

A 'general observation' he calls it, LMAO! The spin master, at it again!

Jeff: "Looky what I found on the puffington post."

And it would be pretty easy for someone to lift some of your bombastic posts to use as an example of how extreme right wing nazi like followers such as yourself think.

    LOL

patty, you are deep in liberal denial. Go check the voting records for yourself. All of your heros voted for the war in the beginning. Like it or not. Spin as you may. It will be funded, again. Like it or not. Cry as you may. mickey has plenty of tissue, get some from him, if he hasn't used them all up.

It figures mickey would defend someone who calls out roops assholes. His hero Ulbermahn called our troops "mentally ill" and he hasn't said one word about him, no surprise.

I would never defend anyone "who calls out roops assholes", whatever the heck that means...LOL!

You just did at 2:26, asswipe. Typical olbyloon, got nothing, go after the typos.

Uh oh, Jeffy's gettin upset, he just called me asswipe...and still hasn't told me what in the heck "who calls out roops assholes" means.

His hero Ulbermahn called our troops "mentally ill" and he hasn't said one word about him, no surprise.

Jeff wants someone to 'defend' Olbermann for calling our troops "mentally ill".

There's a good reason nobody has 'defended' it...he didn't say it!

Then Jeff accuses me of 'defending' someone or something at 2:26.

But if Jeff could read and comprehend, he would see that I wasn't defending anyone, or anything...but I was pointing out how easily someone could use Jeff's own posts as an example of everything that is despicable about extreme right wingers.

Olbermann never said the troops were "mentally ill"....but it is very obvious that Jeff is mentally ill.

"Bovine, why arn't you over at the puffer's site taking issue with those posters?"

They would NEVER believe he is for real!...I'm still not completely convinced myself this guy is not a put on.

Was Olby off tonight? Is that why there is no synopsis?

Has anyone else noticed that ever since the thread on cleaning up the language, with a couple exceptions, the comment section has gone down hill?

Maybe some of you guys could exchange yahoo id's or something and IM your personal arguments live instead of filling these threads with it.

Silence after this post, mickey and patty stroked each other but refused to address this post. Cowards.

For those who are too obtuse to understand Sen. Hillary Clinton's simple and clear position on Iraq, the following is an attempt to summarize it:

    * She voted in the Senate for H.J. Res. 114, the "Authorization of the Use of Military Force Against Iraq," in October 2002. But now she wants to repeal it. Why? Because, according to Hillary, President Bush misinterpreted the "Authorization of the Use of Military Force Against Iraq" resolution to mean that the use of military force against Iraq had been authorized by Congress.

    * At the time of her vote, she stated that her vote for the troop authorization bill was made "with conviction . . . as being in the best interests of the country."

    * But once the war became unpopular, Hillary claimed that she hadn't really voted to send troops to Iraq when she voted for the resolution authorizing the use of military force in Iraq.

No, according to Sen. Clinton, all the "Authorization of the Use of Military Force Against Iraq" really did was to toughen the support we were already giving to United Nations inspectors who were looking for weapons of mass destruction. Although the text of the resolution never mentions a single word about strengthening the U.N. inspectors, Hillary believed that was the purpose of the bill.

    * She won't apologize for voting for the use of military force resolution because she knew that it did not authorize the use of military force. That's always been clear to her. It was Bush's mistake, not hers. He misled her.

But, if she had known then that he would have interpreted the bill to authorize sending troops, she would have voted against it.

    * So now she wants to rescind the authorization to go to war that she voted for in 2002 (although she certainly did not intend to vote for sending troops) - so that President Bush can't send any more troops to Iraq.

    * But she will still vote to appropriate funds to pay for the war, even though it would be illegal for Bush to spend money for a purpose that Congress hasn't authorized.

    * She's repeatedly said that she would not support a definite timetable for withdrawal from Iraq, but then she introduced a bill to begin withdrawal of the troops 90 days from the day her bill passes. (Given her legislative record, that could be 90 days from the Twelfth of Never.) And she voted for the Democratic troop-withdrawal bill.

    * As president, she would definitely end the war, she says . . . but she wouldn't pull out all the troops. Instead, she'd leave U.S. servicemen and -women troops there for the following missions: air, logistical and intelligence support for the Iraqis; training of the Iraqi forces; guarding the hundreds of miles of border with Iran to prevent infiltration, and chasing al Qaeda operatives in Iraq. The only thing they wouldn't do is fight an "urban civil war."

    * Despite the extensive mandate of the residual mission, she would not commit large numbers of troops. She won't say how many.

    * And all of the troops she sends in will have full body armor.

    Hillary, in her "nutshell."

Got it? So much for patty's "this is Bush's war" crap. They all voted for it.

    "They all voted for it."

Whats your point? They WERE indeed all wrong! Some of them have had the courage to admit it, some of them haven't.

That said,....although they WERE all clearly wrong, you simply can't put the ones that merely went along with a bad idea in the same class with those that came up with it.... and then led the charge using cherry picked 'information'.

And thats also why NONE of the ones you mentioned are my 'heros'....as you just claimed.

My example of a 'hero' in Congress is Russ Feingold. He is a man of principal. Not only did he vote against the invasion, he warned his colleagues what a huge mistake they were about to make.

Unfortunately, Feingold didn't have the money or corporate backing to mount a serious presidential challenge.

Principal doesn't seem to matter in today's America!

Talk Radio Network's The Savage Nation:

SAVAGE: Then you have this sorry, sad sack, Russ Feingold -- perhaps the stupidest man in the history of the U.S. House of Representatives -- saying that it's "mean-spirited" to require any ID to vote in America. Listen to Russ Feingold.

FEINGOLD [audio clip]: We also have to stop this mean-spirited attempt to prevent people from voting by requiring a photo ID to vote. We should be encouraging people to vote in this country.

SAVAGE: Go to hell. Get him off my show. Send him back to -- to -- to wherever he came from. Can you imagine there's a man, a -- what is he? A senator? I've no idea what he does -- Feingold, who calls it "mean-spirited" to require a photo ID to vote in the United States of America. He wants illegal aliens to vote. He wants the dead to vote. He wants criminals to vote. He wants felons to vote. This is -- this is shocking. To me, Russ Feingold's filthy statement just now is far worse than anything Foley ever did. Russ Feingold is basically saying it's OK to cheat when you vote in America; it doesn't matter if you're a citizen. He is basically saying to those who died to defend the freedoms of this country: You died for nothing. As far as I'm concerned, the filthy Democrats are worse than what Foley did.

This is classic. :) Feingold-gay marriage is AOK. Patriot Act is not AOK. A real 'hero' he is.

As the sayin' goes, Bovine: "Misery loves company"

What part of "they voted for it, but now they (Dems) are voting for a different plan" don't you understand, Bovine?

What part of 4+ years of incompetence and blunders in Iraq don't you understand, Bovine?

-- TAKING OUR MESSAGE TO THE BELLY OF THE BEAST
On Tuesday evening, following the debate on FOX News, we'll be airing our ad with General Batiste, targeting Senator John McCain.

Why Senator McCain? No one in the Senate has been as vociferous a defender of the President's failed strategy in Iraq as Senator McCain. For whatever the reason, the wheels seem to have come off the 'Straight-Talk Express.' From bizarrely maintaining that an American can stroll through Baghdad unprotected to dangerously advocating more of the same, this isn't the same Senator McCain that people so respected years ago.

We're trying to give him a dose of reality - those who were commanders on the ground are saying we need to change course, so we can maintain a strong military and defend America. By putting those voices in front of his face, and in front of an audience he cares about, maybe he'll finally begin to put America's security above politics. He has a chance to rise to the occasion and be a true leader, if he wants to. It's time for Senator McCain to take off the blinders, and pay heed to the words of those who were commanders on the ground in Iraq. Help us keep it up.

    nothing....

Jeff actually quoting Michael Savage.....what a class act he is!....LOL

I hope for the sake of common decency AND cherished American principals, I HOPE Mitt Romney dug his own grave when he did his faux "tough on terrorists" act...with his despicable in-your-face "double Gitmo" comment.

Heaven forbid we have someone tough on terrorism in office, you dumb ass! Not as bad as Hillary faux accents or Edwards hedge fund/I'm for the little guy!

Lets see now, in the last couple of days, jeff has called me a 'prick' several times, a "dumb ass", and several other similar gutter terms.

I must be doing something right.

It would really worry me if Jeff actually agreed with me about something.

hypocrite, kinda like you calling me a moron every post? hypocrite, to say the least.

He has 4 times, if not more the audience Ulbermahn does!

But Jeff, I stopped calling you a 'moron' weeks ago...because even though it IS 100% true, it just went right in one ear, and out the other, just like every other valid fact our side presents that you don't want to process....because it would confuse your warped little worldview.

As for Savage having 4 times the audience of Olbermann, that is just a sad testiment to the intelligence level and civility of a lot of Americans...but it clearly doesn't make Weiner right!

A sad testiment to Stewart also? Or, is that different? Must be different on olbyplanet.

I'd put the IQ levels and political awareness of Stewart's audience up against Savage's anyday.

That said...the ratings will never determine what is right.

College/drop out dope heads against Savage's audience? Are you serious? How you could do that when you have never listened to Savage is just more hypocrisy from you.

For all to see, olbyloon logic.

You know what they'd be saying if the situation was reversed and it was Olbermann who had the highest ratings? That ratings decided everything. That's the thing about Liberals, they manipulate facts to suit their argument.

Giuliani To Run For President Of 9/11

NEW YORK—At a well-attended rally in front of his new Ground Zero headquarters Monday, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani officially announced his plan to run for president of 9/11.

"My fellow citizens of 9/11, today I will make you a promise," said Giuliani during his 18-minute announcement speech in front of a charred and torn American flag. "As president of 9/11, I will usher in a bold new 9/11 for all."

If elected, Giuliani would inherit the duties of current 9/11 President George W. Bush, including making grim facial expressions, seeing the world's conflicts in terms of good and evil, and carrying a bullhorn at all state functions.
"Let us all remember how we felt on that day, with the world watching our every move, waiting on our every word," said Giuliani, flanked by several firefighters, ex-New York Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik, and Judith Nathan, his third wife. "With a campaign built on traditional 9/11 values, and with the help of every citizen who believes in the 9/11 dream, I want to make 9/11 great again."

According to Washington–based political analyst Gregory Hammond, Giuliani's candidacy "should not be underestimated."

"Sure, he has no foreign or national policy experience, and both his personal life and political career are riddled with scandal," said Hammond. "But in the key area of having been on TV on 9/11, the other candidates simply cannot match him. And as we saw in 2004, that's what matters most to voters in this post-9/11 world."

After his downtown Manhattan announcement, Giuliani held an afternoon rally near the Pentagon. In the early evening, he flew to a field outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where he hosted a $5,000-a-plate fundraising dinner in a tent decorated with clouds of ash, streaming sheets of singed office paper, and small piles of authentic rubble from the World Trade Center site.
Among the policy planks listed on his website are his Cleaner Air Act, which would severely limit the levels of smoke and harmful gases allowed to pour from 747s flying into 110-story office buildings, guaranteed health insurance covering burns caused by shards of burning metal, and his "No Child Left Behind In A Smoldering Skyscraper" initiative.

Giuliani supporters praised the candidate for his "early and unwavering commitment" to 9/11.

"People talk about Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, but did either of them happen to be mayor of New York in September 2001?" Bedford, NH resident Helen Rolfe said. "Guiliani was. To me, that speaks volumes about this man."

Though his campaign apparatus is not yet fully operational, Giuliani's "mobile campaign units"—refurbished fire trucks decorated with banners, balloons, and bloodstains, whose droning sirens continuously blare Giuliani's official campaign song—have already begun canvassing towns in Iowa and New Hampshire.
Giuliani's pro-9/11 message seems to be resonating with potential voters. Said Ames, IA voter Alan Benoit: "I remember seeing Rudolph Giuliani's face, on television, saying reassuring things during a highly emotional moment filled with fear and confusion. He's got my vote."
With more than a year until the primaries—unless Giuliani's court-filed request to hold New York's primary on the second Tuesday in September is approved—Giuliani said it is too early to discuss potential running mates, though he refused to rule out the possibility of naming a twisted, half-melted aluminum beam, an FDNY ball cap, or even John McCain. Giuliani, however, called rumors that he had met with a large shard of glass from the wreckage of the Pentagon "patently untrue."

"Letting 9/11 fall into the hands of the Democrats in 2008 would be nothing short of a national tragedy," Giuliani said. "Ever since 9/11 was founded that fateful day on 9/11, 9/11 has stood for one thing: 9/11."

Heya heya now whattaya bid, whadda ya give for this fine Republican nomination now? Do I hear a Gitmo? Open with one Gitmo. Thank you sir, thank you, I have one Gitmo. Can I get a Double Gitmo! vokie/aap/bob/nobodycares all in one dumb ass ball.

Actually Jeff, I HAVE listened to Savage...several times, and anyone with who has any education at all beyond high school with just a bare minimum of political savvy would be not only turned off, but literally sickened by his bombastic, confrontational, and highly opinionated style.

You also just posted a tiny but typical example of his daily dose of hatred and fact twisting at 1:21 above...and I can't begin to imagine why ANYONE would be proud of that.

You far leftists hate Savage because he exposes you for what you are. His audience has double the iq of soshy stewart. Stop boring me with your bs. Pure bs and hypocrisy is all you can spew. Ulbermahn can be opinionated but Savage can't? More hypocrisy from the idiot mickey, it never ends.

In a stunning move, House Democrats today revealed they will attempt to rewrite House rules that have gone unchanged since 1822 in order to make it possible to increase taxes and government spending without having to vote and be held accountable. House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) today vowed Republicans will use every available means to fight this unprecedented change.

“This is an astonishing attempt by the majority leadership to duck accountability for tax-and-spend policies the American people do not want,” Boehner said. “The majority leadership is gutting House rules that have been in place for 185 years so they can raise taxes and increase government spending without a vote. House Republicans will use every tool available to fight this abuse of power.”

Last November, House Democratic leaders promised the most open, ethical Congress in history:

    HAAA!

You do have to be terribly ignorant and terribly mean-spirited to appreciate Weiner don't you? One of the few people I have heard who can make you long for Howard Stern.

Howard Stern, another favorite degenerate of the liberals! Keep em coming!

"Howard Stern, another favorite degenerate of the liberals! Keep em coming"

Howard Stern is libertarian and leans with the right on many many issues.

He's still a degenerate, I don't care how he votes. I don't side with someone based on political views, unlike the olbyloons.

"He's still a degenerate, I don't care how he votes. I don't side with someone based on political views, unlike the olbyloons."

That's fine. Just try not to be so stupid that you mischaracterize which way he votes. it makes you look like more of a dumbass than usual.

Funny thing is, I didn't "characterize" at ALL how Mr. Degenerate votes, no reference whatsoever. Next?

Royalking: No, you brought up an even more off-rocker d.j. (Savage).

    Ron Paul for President!

In a stunning move, I am going to provide Mike with a link to Pat Buchanan's blog on the topic of Ron Paul that he would appreciate.

If the link doesn't work, you'll have to go to Drudge (whom you abhor) and access Pat Buchanan's site from there. It is the most recent piece.

Wonder if Jeff still thinks Fox news is "left wing "?

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
