"COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN" (8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. ET)
Guest Host: Amy Robach
Topics/Guests:
It's the show where the news is all wrong,
For its host, very few viewers long.
So tonight he will scrub.
You can click on his tub,
To enjoy Krazy Keith's own theme song.
Shut up AAP or I will knock you ass down and stomp on your colostomy bag.
The Truth... they have made the Executive branch as humorous as possible. Why not attempt and fail at this as poorly as they have run the country.
these two douchebags directly above me have NO JOY. EVER.
awesome song.
The bath tup always cracked me up, the song is the icing on the cake. Great idea!

Now why would Herr Olbermann work on the night of the MLB All Star game, but take the next night off?
"Pro-family values" Senator Vitter (R-LA) likes his whores to put diapers on him. Just thought that was interesting.
http://wonkette.com/politics/dept'-of-feces-fetishists/diaperman-david-vitter-likes-his-diapers-277270.php
Maybe he's at home baby-sitting his child aka girlfriend?
SOB, but does he like his interns with or without cigars?

So Olbermann spents his time the same way your wife does...
Olbermann's gone for the night,
Up against Bill, there's no fight...
His ratings are a joke-
On his own bile he'll choke,
Olby's all bark and no bite!
That song is priceless!
Keith's singing in his bathtub tonight
So Amy Robach will be on site
The ratings are toast
No matter the host
At Meltdown the future's not bright
Keith likes to talk sports
Baseball and all sorts
But on politics he knows shit
So he might as well quit
Before again the truth he distorts
Keith robs the cradle with glee
Katy Tur's barely legal you see
Was she old enough to touch?
He didn't know as much
So he demanded to see her ID
A haiku for the masses:
salt and pepper hair
Keith ages before his time
withering johnson...

Sure, why not. He's been publicly representing a party of adult babies for some time now.
if your a liberal who posts here, your as low as one can get. such miserable shits, who MUST impose their misery on us. Let us enjoy hating a real POS, KO. No one gives a fuck about your "david vitter counterpoint" bullshit. most of us don't idolize anyone. you? you idolize the worst. KO. what warped your mind and when? still brainwashed from that sloppy "raising" your parents gave you? you dont get any dumber than a KO admirer. or a bigger asshole.
"you don't get any dumber than a KO admirer"...........
I beg to differ! ..... A Beck, O'reilly, Limbaugh, Hannity, or a Savage admirer is several orders of magnitude dumber than any KO admirer.
TITUSVILLE, Fla. -- Florida state Rep. Robert "Bob" Allen, R-Merritt Island, was arrested Wednesday and charged with soliciting an undercover male officer for sex at a park in Central Florida, according to police.
Investigators said Allen was acting suspicious and went in and out of the men's restroom at Veteran's Memorial Park, located on East Broad Street.
Minutes later, authorities said, Allen solicited the male officer inside the restroom, offering to perform oral sex for $20...

How many of these lame, gay-ass Republicans are going to have to come out of the closet before you neocons come to the realization of just how pathetic you are?
Along the lines of the fascinating discussion above regarding Senator Vitter's sex/diaper/mommie fantasies, the DC madame has other interesting things to say:
"Some of the fantasies at the Canal Street Brothel got a little rough. For those who liked that kind of stuff, there were whips, chains and a lot of leather. Jeanette says that most of the clients who wanted to be dominated were Republicans. She cracks a smile, then adds, “They wanted to be spanked and tortured and wear stockings—Republicans have impeccable taste in silk stockings—and these are the people who run our country.”
Remember that Nevada whore who ran for their Governor in 2004 who said that George W Bush was a client, who like to be degraded by a dominatrix while entwined with other male clients? There's a pattern forming.
Truth, SLOB. Ratboy- I love when the blog is left alone to your comments. The resulting conversation is stuff you would hear during a seventh grade home room. Bravo- you guys have the collective intellect of a hotdog vendor. Read the string of posts- you guys are fucking idiots!
Its been a whole day and you assholes still haven't found any proof of Bush linking 911 to Saddam. Is that just another example of your stupidity? YUP! YUP! YUP! Scream and yell! He did it! But you have no examples. Asswipes! No wonder you are democrats. The party of the dumb, unemployed and illegal immigrants!
GB,
Bush didn't...although he came close; however, his Whitehouse did, son...
And, ignoring Robert Allen's actions indicates to me that you've probably offered a few twenties in the men's room yourself, child. Be careful. That's how diseases are spread...
You are drinking koolaid son-spinner! The democratic bitches were screaming and yelling yesterday that he SAID it. Not implied it! Said there was a connection! And just like every other dumbass democrat- you believe what you want.... not what is true. No proof- just silence. Because you are dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb! dumb!

Blindrat,
I couldn't shed a tear for these pols if I was chopping the world's biggest onion, but come on!
GB,
He did imply it; moreover, members of his cabinet actually stated it. Want proof, child?
Cecelia,
No tears, hold the onions...
It just strikes me as odd how many neocon politicians get caught as pedophiles, homosexuals or sexual masochists...

I wouldn't include homosexuality in a list with pedophilia or sadomaschism, but I know you aren't implying that these things are equals. I'm don't even think sadomaschism should be included with pedophilia as long as it's practiced between consenting adults. Weird and icky as hell, but it's not like pedophilia.
Frankly, as far as pedophilia or sadomaschism go, I doubt there's anymore incidence of these things within the Repubican population than any other group. However, when Republicans get caught it generates more buzz. I don't have an issue with that. You talk that tallk, you need to walk that walk. Who could feel badly about any pedophile being put out of business.
As for as homosexuality, it's logical to conclude that a gay Republican would be more likely to be in the closet than a Democrat would be. I'll buy that.

"The official reported that on a couple of occasions in Baqubah, al Qaeda invited to lunch families they wanted to convert to their way of thinking. In each instance, the family had a boy, he said, who was about 11-years-old. As LT David Wallach interpreted the man's words, I saw Wallach go blank and silent. He stopped interpreting for a moment. I asked Wallach, "What did he say?" Wallach said that at these luncheons, the families were sat down to eat. And then their boy was brought in with his mouth stuffed. The boy had been baked. Al Qaeda served the boy to his family."
So next time you advocate America abandoning Iraq, remember that it's waiting to explode into another Dafur.
When the going gets tough, I quit. I also will always denigrate anything I foresee as difficult beforehand. That way, when things do get tough I can say "See....I told you we would lose or that we were wrong". It is my own self-fulfilling prophecy of doom and it goes well with my self-hatred and my white liberal guilt. I try to pass of my pessimism and skepticism as intelligence and it works on other self-loathers. This must be why I empathize with the Islamo-fascist. They have innate need to hate because of their lack of ability or want to do something worthwhile. Hating excuses my worthlessness and is the only thing keeping me from killing myself. I am a loon and it takes all of five second to psychoanalyze my idiocy.
Cecelia,
I wasn't stating a list of depravities. I was stating a list of things that neocons are adamantly against. The term "gay-ass" was sardonic...
BR- Changing the subject again?.... Read the posts yesterday. Your idiot minions repeatedly asserted that Bush made the connection before the Iraq War. All-out-straight-up untrue lie! When benson asked for proof... the dumb lefties decided to just hang out at the blue blogs.

No problem, Blindrat. I had said, "but I know you aren't implying that these things are equals" and I was NOT being sardonic.

I'm a little confused why a W. Loon would use the words "white liberal guilt" in a testimony; otherwise, the rest of the statement couldn't be more right on. Uncanny. Perhaps the most honest thing I've read here yet. Good job!
GB,
What do I care what others do, son. But, when Bush's own cabinet states something, you can bet he has the power to stop them if he so desires.
Having other people say things for you is a special kind of cowardice...

How does al Qaeda relate to 9/11??? Are you serious?
And we haven't invaded Darfur but there is a growing movement advocating that we intervene there and it includes many of the same people advocating abandoning Iraq.

Hush DT,
Hanson does bring up an interesting point, near the end. We've seen limited coverage here in the states, good and bad, on this war; more importantly, we've made little collective sacrifice aside from our brothers and sisters in the military.
And DT, we should've invaded Darfur a long time ago, but I suspect our resources were already stretched too thin, and our political interests already focused on Iraq, seemingly before 9/11.
btw, I'm looking at you from across the office. I know where you work, pinko commie! :)

OK, that's not news either.
Next?
"That wasn't my question. Please try again."
Your exact words:
"al Qaeda is bad, but how does this relate to 9/11?"
I guess the phrase "know thy enemy" has never crossed your feeble mind. Try again.
DT, I'm gonna smack you!

This, coming from someone who CAN'T make a post w/out using, "son," "boy," "child," "little girl," "blow job," "offered a few twenties in the men's room." Sounds like you have some issues of your own. Including being ashamed to admit your religious practices.
" "That wasn't my question. Please try again."
Your exact words:

Posted by: at July 12, 2007 12:04 PM
Wrong again. My exact words, all of them this time:
Creepy story, al Qaeda is bad, but how does this relate to 9/11?
Perhaps I was too terse, assuming you had the mental capacity to keep up. My query was in reference to the story itself, and the timing and motivation behind publishing it.
There's little choice for the reader than to consider this unacceptable behavior from al Qaeda [or any other group for that matter --thank goodness America doesn't do it's own torture any more!]. And rightfully so, but this is an incomplete argument.
If only we showed as much condemnation for similar atrocities in the world as this, we might've been able to nip this in the bud decades ago, instead of wheeling and dealing with the biggest bullies in the region.
I am quite familiar with "know thyn enemy" but I have to know if you were one of those "why do they hate us?" folks on 9/11?
I think Hanson actually touches on some of the reasons, but left them equally untethered.
DT:
"SMACK!!!"
Hush! Please just watch your Tivo in silence, young man.
I have a report that Cheney drinks the blood of Iraqi children.
News at 11....

Listen, shithead, I replied to this yesterday.
You can choose to believe that this administration never linked the invasion of Iraq to 9/11. That is your prerogative.
I personally think that rushing into war using the "with us or against us" bullshit was enough to convince the majority of Americans that they knew what they were doing.
Remember? We need to TRUST them. The WMDs would be found. If we don't go in Saddam will use them on everyone and sell them to all kinds of terrorist organizations.
America wanted vengence. That's why almost no one argued over Afghanistan.
If you want me to find a document or quote stating how Saddam himself issued the attack on 9/11 you're being pretty stupid and naive.
This administration realized long ago that saying anything that can be used against them is the last thing that they want to do. Instead they talk to the people in spooky, bumper-sticker language designed to confuse and scare the masses.
"Mushroom cloud", "With us or against us", "Bring it on" etc... were all designed to have Americans put their blind faith in his war plans.
Let me ask you this, when we went into Iraq, did YOU think we were in any way fighting terror or more specifically al qaeda?
You are drinking koolaid son-spinner! The democratic bitches were screaming and yelling yesterday that he SAID it. Not implied it! Said there was a connection! Nope, your head is as hard as ever and you've no abstract reasoning abilities whatsoever.
Since GBush and others apparently can't remember what they had for breakfast, here is ONE article. It took me about 4 seconds to find it. Let me know if you need anything else.
I gotta warn you though, I don't think I'll find anything that says "Saddam done sent those big jets into our big ol' buildings".
Excerpts from a 6/18/04 Washington Post article:
link:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A50679-2004Jun17.html
President Bush yesterday defended his assertions that there was a relationship between Saddam Hussein's Iraq and Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda, putting him at odds with this week's finding of the bipartisan Sept. 11 commission.
"The reason I keep insisting that there was a relationship between Iraq and Saddam and al Qaeda: because there was a relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda," Bush said after a Cabinet meeting. As evidence, he cited Iraqi intelligence officers' meeting with bin Laden in Sudan. "There's numerous contacts between the two," Bush said.
While not explicitly declaring Iraqi culpability in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, administration officials did, at various times, imply a link. In late 2001, Cheney said it was "pretty well confirmed" that attack mastermind Mohamed Atta had met with a senior Iraqi intelligence official. Later, Cheney called Iraq the "geographic base of the terrorists who had us under assault now for many years, but most especially on 9/11."
Bush, in 2003, said "the battle of Iraq is one victory in a war on terror that began on September the 11th, 2001."
In January, Cheney said the "best source" of information on the subject was an article in the Weekly Standard, which reported: "Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein had an operational relationship from the early 1990s to 2003 that involved training in explosives and weapons of mass destruction, logistical support for terrorist attacks, al Qaeda training camps and safe haven in Iraq, and Iraqi financial support for al Qaeda -- perhaps even for Mohamed Atta -- according to a top secret U.S. government memorandum."
Bush, in a February 2003 radio address, said: "Iraq has sent bombmaking and document forgery experts to work with al Qaeda. Iraq has also provided al Qaeda with chemical and biological weapons training. And an al Qaeda operative was sent to Iraq several times in the late 1990s for help in acquiring poisons and gases. We also know that Iraq is harboring a terrorist network headed by a senior al Qaeda terrorist planner. This network runs a poison and explosive training camp in northeast Iraq, and many of its leaders are known to be in Baghdad."
idiot- link Saddam and 911 NOT Saddam and Al Quaida. Oh thats right... you can't read. Its only been a whole day and a half and you can't find a quote with Bush making that link!
Ask "the untruth" for an onion dip recipe and he'll send you a real snazzy muffin recipe. Reading is fundamental.
I dunno, I could use a decent muffin recipe.
On the other hand, onion dip's pretty self-explanatory, don't you think?
Isn't the tacky intentional misunderstanding of others' words adorable?
idiot- link Saddam and 911 NOT Saddam and Al Quaida. Oh thats right... you can't read. Its only been a whole day and a half and you can't find a quote with Bush making that link!
Posted by: at July 12, 2007 3:48 PM
Who the hell are you calling idiot?
Can YOU read?
How about this one:
"Bush, in 2003, said "the battle of Iraq is one victory in a war on terror that began on September the 11th, 2001."
SORT OF LINKS IRAQ WITH 9/11, DOESN'T IT?
The "BATTLE OF IRAQ" was to overthrow SADDAM. That was one victory in a war on terror that began on SEPTEMBER THE 11TH.
Seriously, you people really need to accept history. If you don't think the rhetoric in the ONE article I found intends to draw a link between the two then you will never admit it.
I'll ask you all again, when we went to war in March '03, did you at the time think there was ANY link to 9/11?
This administration NEVER tried to clear that up, in fact they did the opposite.
SEMANTICS. You all think you're so brilliant because Dumya was smart enough to let you connect the dots he drew. You all fell for it, now you're willing to accept his disaster. You will NEVER hold these assholes accountable for anything.
YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A POINT THERE BUT AS LONG AS YOU WEAR A HAT NOBODY WILL NOTICE.
Ask "the untruth" for an onion dip recipe and he'll send you a real snazzy muffin recipe. Reading is fundamental.
Posted by: benson at July 12, 2007 3:51 PM
Ya, you're right Benson.
You have a much higher comprehension level than I do. Probably higher than ANYBODY that believes that this administration got us into this war in a shady way.
Everyone out here is BRILLIANT. Everyone that apologizes and makes excuses for this administration is clearly more intelligent than the rest of us. I really mean that.
Just look at a map.
All of the red states are the bastions of culture, intelligence, education, commerce, etc...
As a matter of fact, I think we should move the nation's capital.
I wanna suggest some new locations:
1. Shitpile Alabama
2. Hillbilly Falls Tennessee
3. Tippacow South Carolina
4. Shitkicker Texas
5. Assrape West Virginia
A police chief from Shitkicker, Texas is working security for the Democratic National Convention in Boston in 2004. In the course of his duties, he finds himself working alongside a law enforcement official from Boston who calls himself "The Truth".
"The Truth" seemed to find it entertaining to continously insult and disparage the police chief from Shitkicker, Texas. The police chief finally grew weary of the incessant insults from the Boston law enforcement official and said, "Why do you keep constantly insulting me?" to which the Boston lawman responded, "Well, I guess it's because you and I are very different." The police chief from Shitkicker thought about this for a moment and replied, "Yes you are right, we are different. In Texas, we go in the creek after our women"
For those of who who didn't get the joke, there's a certain prominent senator from Massachusetts who, on July 18, 1969 attended a party on Chappaquiddick Island, Martha's Vineyard. This senator drove away with party guest Mary Jo Kopechne (not his wife)as a passenger in his mother's 1967 Oldsmobile Delmont 88. The senator drove the car off a bridge and it plunged into tide-swept Poucha Pond (at that location a channel) and came to rest upside down underwater. The senator was able to swim free of the vehicle, but Kopechne was not. The next morning, the police recovered the senator's car and the body of Mary Jo Kopechne.
By the way, the "joke" I told above is actually a true story. The Texas lawman is a police chief in a small community in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The police chief from Shitkicker thought about this for a moment and replied, "Yes you are right, we are different. In Texas, we go in the creek after our women"

I'm pretty sure every republican out here has heard the story of Chappaquiddick. All you need to do is listen to Rush, Savage, Hannity etc for 5 seconds and they'll recount it like it happened this morning.
Good call on my location though! I am in fact from Boston. I have no love for Kennedy though, and your apparent insult didn't bother me at all.
As fucked up as he is, I'll take Ted Kennedy in a second over Dumya.
I am sure everyone "got" your "joke," Henry. It's as old as the original bottle of Dr. Pepper and as amusing as a rattlesnake bite.
Hank, as long as you're telling stories of one of your men coming to Boston to help out w/security, I thought I'd share one of my own which goes the other way.
I'm a firefighter in Massachusetts; in one of Boston's city suburbs. We have 104 men on our department. Whenever there is a huge tragedy or catastrophe we mobilize our men and send as many as we can to the incident.
On 9/11 we had waves of men respond to ground zero and work for days. We also went to the wakes of countless firefighters, EMTs and police.
Most recently we sent men down to Charleston on a moment's notice after their huge furniture superstore fire. We are always trying to lend support in whatever way we can during the most trying of times, regardless of where it happens.
The exception to this was hurricane Katrina. As a department we sat by like the rest of the country as the events unfolded on TV. We waited for calls to come in from any and every avenue for assistance. The images of devastation and death were among the worst in the history of broadcast television. Still, we got no such requests for help. Help from the outside is organized on the FEDERAL level. The whole incident above all needs to be properly coordinated. Outside companies cannot simply show up and go to work.
The mayor and governor PLED on TV for help, and still no calls reached us. My city doesn't directly receive these calls, but our local unions do and relay the info to us. Our department actually called anyone they could think of to seek out information on how we could help. We got no replies. This was HIGHLY unusual, considering there is almost always a way to instantly find out how you could be of assistance in such a tragic incident. Days went by, and still the federal govt didn't have any plan in place as to how outside help could be used. Again, this is HIGHLY unusual.
Finally, DAYS after the whole mess was broadcast around the world, we received word on what we could do. We got a letter from FEMA stating that anyone who wanted to come down and help could, but completely at their own risk. They could fly down, find housing, and work to their heart's content without pay of any kind. No one, FEMA or otherwise, was going to clear things with our chief to work any scheduling conflicts out.
Now, the fact that there was no pay or housing made available was not unusual; but the fact that the memo was put out saying so was. The fact that they were not going to work with our department to rectify any scheduling was simply odd. We were on our own to use sick time or vacation time if that is what we wanted to do. The memo also stated that there was a very high likelihood of contracting disease due to the stagnant water and other hazards. Any disease or injury incurred would be our own problem. Since it was not on company time we would not be entitled to any on-the-job protections or insurances. They also went out of their way to state that they weren't expecting much outside help, as things were now pretty much in control (?). My union couldn't believe such a release was actually sent, days later. We had at least 15 or 20 men, myself included, willing to do whatever it took to help out. The only problem is, as a department we need to have these things coordinated with the area needing help. We can not go down individually and free-lance.
Imagine our shock when the union president visited each station individually and said, "We are not recommending anyone go down, due to the complete disorganization of the incident." He also said in his 20+ years of organizing such responses he NEVER saw anything like that.
Say what you want about the mayor knowing about the buses, the governor sitting on her hands, etc..., but the truth is that is all a bunch of horseshit.
There was MORE than enough blame to go around. It was a nightmare. We couldn't help when we wanted to, and no one knew why.
Blame everyone you want, but the truth is the truth.
"I am sure everyone "got" your "joke," Henry. It's as old as the original bottle of Dr. Pepper and as amusing as a rattlesnake bite"
Well, the story has been independently verified, so I know that the verbal exchange as I have described it actually took place, whether the punch line is original to the Texas police chief or not.
The story not be amusing to you as it was to me, but it is often an effective antidote to verbally smack down haughty east coast provincialists with a shock to the system.
"The story not be amusing to you as it was to me, but it is often an effective antidote to verbally smack down haughty east coast provincialists with a shock to the system."
Again, generalizing away...
I know you view me as a "haughty east coast provincialist", but you really don't know anything about anyone. You just make shit up and declare it as fact.
I'd be willing to bet that I've jumped into more lakes to pull people to safety than you have, but really, who gives a *@.
It doesn't make my points about the Bush administration any more valid, so why bring it up?
People from the south are no more honorable or morally superior than anyone. A stupid comment from a southern police chief doesn't make your opinions more important than someone from the east, north, west or anywhere.
People from the south are no more honorable or morally superior than anyone.

As a Southerner, I can assure you that you are absolutely correct. I've probably known more Cracker adulterers than you can imagine, and I won't talk about the pedophiles, crack whores, wife beaters and other perverts and addicts. When it comes to sin, the Bronx has nothing on Smyrna.
And the real racist is exposed, once again. I was right all along. Thanks, jalopy. I rest my case.
Just look at a map.
All of the red states are the bastions of culture, intelligence, education, commerce, etc...
As a matter of fact, I think we should move the nation's capital.
I wanna suggest some new locations:
1. Shitpile Alabama
2. Hillbilly Falls Tennessee
3. Tippacow South Carolina
4. Shitkicker Texas
5. Assrape West Virginia

I just saw this Mr. Concerned Firefighter. With your attitude, the people of the Katrina disaster were better off without you. After all, it wasn't the cultured folk who needed the most help.
LOL...apparently, Jeff doesn't know the meaning of the word 'race' either.
Hint Jeff...it doesn't mean southerners, or whores, or pedophiles, etc., etc.
It does explain why he still doesn't get exactly why he was called a racist a few days ago.
This site is so entertaining!
Retard, I was referring to Al Sharptons favorite term, "cracker."
Have you came up with anything to back your spew in regards to naming ONE right you have lost in the last 6 yrs?
But Jeff, Sharpton's not the only one to have used the word 'cracker'. It gets used by whites far more than it ever gets used by blacks.
One 'right' I seem to have lost in the last few months is the right to make a coherent post intended for someone who actually has a brain without having you inject your trademark banality, therebye dumbing down the conversation exponentially.
Retard!.......LOL

So, you can't bck your earlier spew about Bush taking your rights away? Not that I already didn't already know you couldn't, just wanted everyone else to see what a liar you are. Did I mention you are a liar? Chalk up one more.....Mike claims Bush has taken rights from him yet he can't name ONE right he has taken from him. No surprises, here.
Actually Jeff, I did NOT claim that Bush had taken away any rights from me personally. Go back and reread and tell me where I made such a claim? My CLAIM was that Bush has assumed he has far greater powers than are rightfully his Constitutionally....But this kind of power grabbing DOES threaten all of our rights.
Oh never mind....LOL...like I've already said, your inability to grasp complex concepts is startling, and thats why I actually do believe you are a moron.
I rest my case.
-----------------
Please give us all a rest. Now. Ignore me. Please. You promised you would. You should keep your promised, Ye of Many Names. Otherwise, you will lose the respect of everyone. And, I can tell you are well-respected on this site. Perhaps, it is you charm, your wit, your intelligence, or all three. Please don't squander that. Do rest. A nice, long, undisturbed rest. We all need it.
You leave me no choice.
"mike" Here is what you claimed you said.
"My CLAIM was that Bush has assumed he has far greater powers than are rightfully his Constitutionally....But this kind of power grabbing DOES threaten all of our rights"
Here is what you REALLY said......
In other words, if we stand by meekly while government "takes away rights" and assumes power it was never intended to have, the historical cycle you express so much faith in will, in fact, cease to occur.

Now, what rights have you lost in the last 6 yrs? Can you name ONE!

Oh, I see Sharon...
Only the rednecks are allowed to make disparaging comments about where I live.
For you to call me "Mr. Concerned Firefighter" tells me that you think you know my concern for anyone. You don't. You're just another one out here that jumps to conclusions and thinks you know everything. I don't need to defend anything about my character to you, sorry.
Why didn't you comment on the hillbilly sheriff's comment about Boston?
HYPOCRITE
I've been on this site for many months, and I've never mentioned what I did before. It doesn't matter what ANYONE does. I mentioned it this time because someone had a story about how only southerners would save a drowning woman. I guess you think a joke about letting a woman die in a pond is a good quality to attribute to a whole section of the country.
BTW the people of the Katrina disaster would have been better off if ANYONE was there to help them. I don't think it matters much that I replied to someone else's rude comments on a blog with rude comments of my own. I'm pretty sure they'd be happy to be rescued off their roofs whether or not I think the south is perfect.
I've always been civil with you, but as far as I'm concerned now you can go to hell.
Take your self-righteous attitude and stick it right up your ass.
See Jeff, I told you you got it wrong. You really DO have a reading comprehension problem:
1) - As you stated, the complete quote is "if we stand by meekly while government takes away right and assumes power it was never intended to have, the historical cycle you express so much faith in will, in fact, cease to occur.".......Now Jeff, oh simple one; Where in that statement did I state that Bush had already taken away any of MY rights personally?" I DIDN'T because it isn't there anywhere in that statement. The statement was clearly written on a hypothetical note expressing alarm that the pendulum was clearly swinging in that direction...and needed to be stopped.
WHY do you have so much trouble with reading comprehension...was this a problem for you in grade school? ...and don't even try to tell me that you made it all the way through high school either!
It's no wonder you admire simpletons like Michael Savage....he is a genious compared to you...and he knows just how to manipulate people like you.
Thats right Jeff, you were gonna ignore me and Clucker.....whats up with that bro?
"After all, it wasn't the cultured folk who needed the most help."
As for this part of your comment, NO SHIT.
Anyone who does what we do is not in it for the money or to protect only the rich. Most of our calls are for people a lot worse off than you and me. It is an honor to help these people. I could care less if you understand that at all.
The only ones who think that only the rich matter are the right wing assholes that let them all die in the first place.
Mike, only the right wingers are allowed to identify what people are thinking.
If it suits them, its all about the actual wording, not the message. An example would be the Saddam/911 link. It was clear then that Bush tried to lump Iraq in with Al Qaeda, but these people want to play semantic games and point out that he never said that SPECIFICALLY. He only inferred it and had his cabinet defend the notions every Sunday morning on Meet the Press.
Now that you show that you didn't say you've lost any rights, they want to tell you what you meant. They think they know better than you what you are thinking.
Clucker and Truth make quite a pair, wailing to the heavens about my story about the Texas police chief who got tired of his character being assassinated, a time honored custom of northerners going back to Reconstruction, and gave some lip back to the Boston law man who kept leaning on him.
Clucker complains that I have unfairly labeled him as a "haughty eats coasy provincialist":
"I know you view me as a "haughty east coast provincialist", but you really don't know anything about anyone"
Oh really? Yes, we see the milk of human kindness in you, your sweet angelic spirit when you started all this by giving the folloing assessment of Southerners:
1. Shitpile Alabama
2. Hillbilly Falls Tennessee
3. Tippacow South Carolina
4. Shitkicker Texas
5. Assrape West Virginia
Posted by: The Truth at July 12, 2007 5:15 PM
When you posted this vile insult about people in the Southliving in piles of manure and geeting anally raped, did I respond with some sanctimonious speech about what a brave person I am because I pull people out of buildings? Hell, no, I just gave back as good as I got.
Your point was to put down Southerners. My point was to point out to you that Southerners don't have a monopoly on the bad apples.
It's no wonder you admire simpletons like Michael Savage....he is a genious compared to you...and he knows just how to manipulate people like you.

This puke fest brought to us by someone who admits to watching Olbermahn twice evry night? LOL!
You just told ANOTHER lie Jeff!.....didn't your mother teach you not to lie boy?
Show me where I ever admitted to watching KO twice every night? You can't because it's a LIE boy! you hear me boy...you LIED again!
Hell, I don't even have time to watch it once most nights.
Now for clarification.....what Jeff is referring to is ONE night several months ago in which I stated I watched Countdown twice THAT NIGHT ONLY for the expressed purpose of following up on a statement Johnny said he made that I was pretty sure was false....and sho nuff, it WAS false!
You a LIAR Jeff! You hear me boy?....a LIAR!
Your also a riot!
Actually Hank, I was initially responding to the anon and Benson. Both used name calling after I posted something they've been asking for for days. Maybe you like to be called "idiot" or whatever, but not everyone does.
You got caught in the crossfire because you posted a joke that included me in it right at that time.
I guess I overreacted.
I don't know if you care or not, but I didn't intend to hurt anyone's feelings.
Sorry if I did to anyone.
Except Benson and the anon that started with me. :)
Who is this Mike guy? Is he one of those Olbyloon's? What a freaking nut job. Settle down dude. Step away from the bong or whatever drugs you are on.
Truth,
Who is being self-righteous? I apologize for calling you Concerned Firefighter. I guess the West Virginia ass joke didn't sit too well with me considering that my father was born and raised there. Sure, the people stranded on those roofs would have even allowed themselves to be rescued by a person wearing a hood so I am wrong on that count too. I am on record somewhere in the archives of criticizing the Bush Administration for that whole debacle. I watched with the same horror as you as people held up signs for water.
One last matter: when you write something disgusting, it is not my job to go back and justify the reason for your vileness.
Anon 12:40: "Who is this Mike guy?"
Well, lets see anon...my name is 'Mike'. Does that help you any?
As for the drugs, does that aspirin tablet I took three days ago count?
"Settle down dude": I can't really see how I could be any more settledbut I'll try.
Thanks for your reply Truth. As much as we disagree about Olbermann and politics, I respect your profession very much. You are owed a great debt for the service you perform as a firefighter.
As He of Many Names might write:
"theirs lot have posts which ar anonamous toniht that sound like jeff wrote it asswipe"
Sort of like the famous "Know Where" post.
But, I'm sure He of Many Names wouldn't do that, and I am not going to get Cox and Senor Dollares involved.
Sharon,
Honestly, no apology necessary.
I guess I was a little pissed because of the concerned firefighter comment. I knew then that I shouldn't have ever said what I do because it would undoubtedly come out wrong. I really was only replying to the fact that a Boston person wouldn't help a dying person. Whatever.
I don't really feel that the south is inbred or anything like that. People are people. Stereotypes will always prove the person perpetuating them to be an asshole, as I'm sure I came off.
There is a lot of name-calling out here. It kind of sucks to post something that people claim they've been asking for for days and then get called names because your views differ.
I really am sorry for being so harsh in my criticisms. Sometimes I just come out with both guns blazing and the next thing I know I went too far.
BTW, I wouldn't wear my hood if I was helping the people off the roofs. I only wear it when I socialize in the deep south.
j/k
"Mike and Jeff get a room"
I ain't sleepin with no BovineKing and his cows!
Truth,
I wasn't implying you would be the type to wear the hood, just that people in desperate situations will accept help from anyone. I also mistakenly stated something about myself once and was immediately sorry. No grudge held here.
Besides never having the desire, I couldn't be a Klucker because I am slightly claustrophobic.
the vast majority of the group’s members would likely be more focused on battling Shiite militias in the struggle for dominance in Iraq (from 1:26 comment)
And what happens if they dominate?
I wouldn't wear my hood if I was helping the people off the roofs. I only wear it when I socialize in the deep south.
-----
I know someone, whose names escape me, who owns a hood. I am sure you can borrow it. It is an XXS. Just let me know when you need it. If he is still not ignoring me, I'll ask.
Clucker,
Give it up. RK posts as RK (Jeff). Show one example of RK posting as another and I'll give you my "professional" opinion : )
Oops, the smile was dislocated : )
Sharon, I have asked ample times of Philby to tell me my "other names" as well as show me one post where I said I "hate our troops" and she runs full speed to name calling or just totally diverts. She is a desperate olbyloon, to say the least.
"Hank continues to desperately try to justify his sorry support for this failed war."
I haven't said a word about the justifications for the war, fool. Whay I have done is ask YOU, since you think staying and fighting is an unpalatable option, what YOU think we need to do. Leave immediately? "Phased" withdrawal? Some other form of appeasement? Do you have the beginning of a clue what consequences would ensue by doing so? I don't think you do. You think if we leave, we just write it off and we return to out pre-9/11 lives. Is that what you think? Wake up!
Nope, your head is as hard as ever and you've no abstract reasoning abilities whatsoever.

Good reason to continue to argue, name call and respond. That irony thing has really sunk in...yeah, riiiiiiiight....
Has anyone heard how the Bush on Mount Rushmore deal is coming?
