Well, the biggest thing is that he has broadest experience level of all the candidates.

He's run the Engery Dept, he's been ambassador to the U.N, foreign relations, he's dealt with intelligence gathering, etc.

He's got a great rating at Cato for his fiscal policy in New Mexico.

One of the most important posts in a week. Thank you. The strain on the VA is going to be tremendous, and, I know this will surprise everyone, but we're unprepared. The Administration was so cocksure that the only injuries would be slips-and-falls from thrown flowers, 4 years ago, that the VA has been largely neglected. There is a chance this suit may begin to make us prepare ourselves and threat these men and women in the fashion they deserve. It will be a struggle, and it will be very, very expensive, but it is just one more thing the new President will have to handle. I feel sorry for him or her.

The article says the VA is also dealing with law suits from the Vietnam War!

The veterans groups involved in the lawsuit are Veterans for Common Sense in Washington, D.C., which claims 11,500 members, and Veterans United for Truth, based in Santa Barbara, Calif., with 500 members.
