"COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN" (8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. ET)
Host: Keith Olbermann
Topics/Guests:
For advice on sex with a gay
Rachel Maddow has something to say
Miss Pot-Kettle-Black
Is on the attack
But same-gender sex is okay
When a Republican homo get caught
It doesn't make Rachel Maddow distraught
Her after hours name is really Rex
Not that she has very big pecs
But a bigger dick than Keith she has got
Hey sports fans. You will get a laugh out of this picture (unless you have no sense of humor) of Bond's steroid sized head as he casually leans over the dugout fence along with some teammates. The caption above reads: Bonds Breaks Hank Aaron's Record. http://lundesigns.com/
A topic like this needs a sage
An expert to inform, not enrage
There's Congressman Frank
That irascable crank
Who knows how to bend a page
Rachel Maddow and Michael Musto went on a date
And you will never believe who got ate
"Take me!" shouted the weird little guy
Maddow was on top; that is no lie
The next month Michael Musto was late
Hypocrisy is something to hate
Unless you're a gay-bashing neocon tempted by bait
Making some voters take notice
On a senator's true focus
How tricky the dicks are you folks will relate.
Why can't you spell,
Did you mean "RHODES Scholar"?
"Why can't you spell,
Did you mean "RHODES Scholar"?"
Nice. Attack the messenger, Rule 1 in the neocon handbook.
Is it time to kick some puppies now?
...at least someone here knows how to Google.
Hard to do without opposable thumbs, i might add.
heh... that's right.
Just because you can't spell "Rhodes" completely doesn't mean your daddy's friends can't help you be president some day.
"",
Somebody who can't spell Rhodes Scholar shouldn't accuse anybody else of not being one.
Hope I spelled your name right!
OK,
I hope you apply the same measure of exactness to the politicians you so dearly endorse.
Is to time to kick puppies now?
I want to see "Eeeeee! EEeeee! Cummings!" agent's technique.
Hope I spelled your name right!
Is it time to kick puppies now?
I want to see "Eeeeee! EEeeee! Cummings!" agent's technique.
Hope I spelled your name right!
Dude, you misspelled "it"
Do I need to find the Clinton dictionary for you for the proper spelling and usage?
That's not all. It's "NOT Eeeeee! Eeeeee! Cummings!" agent's puppy-kicking technique you want to see, dumb ass.
"",
Michael Vick killed dogs that didn't perform up to speed. Krazy Keith has been defending the guy. Better take up the "kick puppies" issue with Olby.
Exactly, not e e cumming's agent!
By that logic, only those who can correctly spell 'fag' or 'ass pirate' or 'homosexual' should engage in sodomy with a stranger in the washroom.
Are you Craig's "agent" too?
"",
I call that defending him.
You could share your hopes and dreams for the future of Michael Vick. I wish him ill. After all, he kicked puppies.
Vick would make a great Bush-approved US Attorney based on his puppy-kicking abilities. And his being arrested for it would surely put him on the fast track.
Another weak review or no review of the show..... must be E Schit's nite. Hey pal, if you can't do the fucking job, get someone to replace you that can . We are tired of your, "My VCR is on the fritz, or my cat ate the remote" excuses. You are the only thing more lame than the left wing piece of shit this blog is dedicated to cover. Give me a break!
"",
So you are saying that Michael Vick killed dogs but didn't kick any puppies. That makes a lot of sense. I guess I don't have enough nuance to keep up with you.
I think one of those puppies left us a present in here. Pew!
"",
I thought all doggies start out as puppies, even fighting doggies.
"Not EE should fire his agent and then find another occupation he might be good at."
I hear there's an opening or two available at The White House... Atlanta Falcons too, for that matter.
Damn, Maurice!
Look at them words a-flyin'.
Like shooting idiots in a barrel, again.
Wooweee!
"must be E Schit's night. Hey pal, if you can't do the fucking job, get someone to replace you who can...."
Well E Schatz, these are your OWN people cussing at you. What class they have! Makes you feel warm n' fuzzy all over, doesn't it? All because you're having a little trouble getting a personal hate piece out fast enough for em.
But you know how it is with sharks, don't you Schatz? A little blood in the water and......................................!!
Vick, you sick twisted f*ck.
Hate the sin, love the comment.
"All you Michael Vick haters out there...
Eat any beef?
veal ?
How about chicken?
Milk?
Wear any leather shoes?
Ever see the process that starts with the animal and ends up on your dinner plate and feet?"
Not me, although iIhave to admit watching bean curd fight can get pretty boring.
I think I've developed a taste for shark meat, reading this site.
"Ever see the process that starts with the animal and ends up on your dinner plate and feet."
So THIS is your defense of slamming innocent animals to death for fun and profit simply because they didn't perform up to a level necessary to satisfy your sick perverted obsession of watching bloodly mortal combat because you are too cowardly to do it yourself?
Man, that's gonna have to be one big-ass boat.
Is the Exxon Valdez available?
I'm thinking about the Crabby Patties I'm eating while wearing my shark-skin suit.
Although, food for thought is actually a rare and noble idea here.
"Brrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaains!..."
"Sure is. Drive 3 miles down the river and look for the 30 mile oil slick."
I like you. Let's go fishing.

Yeah, quite a change from the left wing blogs that purge any contrarian ideas. Speaking of which Mike, why aren't you participating in the nightly Olbermann circle jerk at Crooks and Liars?
Senator Craig's first words in his press conference were: "Thank you for coming out..." Consistently poor judgement.
"Speaking of which Mike, why aren't you participating in the nightly Olbermann circle jerk at Crooks and Liars?"
Because the mountains of right wing hypocrisy found right here is so much more fun!
"Sure is. Drive 3 miles down the river and look for the 30 mile oil slick."
Careful there, anon!
If not e e cumming's agent isn't too busy defending some closeted gay-bashing neocon congressman, he or she will surely catch the missing hyphenated '30-mile' in your post which will surely confuse the rest of us of your intended meaning! And if he or she subscribes to AP style, '3 miles' should appear as 'three miles.' Gotta spell out those single-digit numbers. Whew, that was close!
Not a peep about posters like o'liar, slob, patsy or any other of his hating cohorts. Just our daily dose of you know what........from you know who........
"
Yeah, quite a change from the left wing blogs that purge any contrarian ideas. Speaking of which Mike, why aren't you participating in the nightly Olbermann circle jerk at Crooks and Liars?"
Hey 'Wig,
Care to site some references or are you counting antisemitism and racial slurs as right-wing "contrarian ideas" like O'Reilly?
It's called food for thought, and what we do every single day in every single state to defenseless animals.
So before you get so self righteous about condemning Vick, think about what happens to the animal you re eating or wearing.

Mike???? I wonder,..... you're not Michelangelo Signorelli are you? Maybe Mike Rogers?
Yep, food for thought has no place here.
Carry on!
Come to think of it, this is like watching a bean curd fight.
Do you guys work in shifts or is the rotation determined from the bathroom stalls?
"Brrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaains!..."
Anyone that defends r. maddow should take a long hard look in the mirror at themselves. I only hope you aren't as ugly as she/it is while you are doing it.
You know, picking at the scabs only prolongs the healing process.
Hush, you quack!
The grown-ups are talking here.
Speaking of crooks and liars:

... tip of the gay iceberg for Craig?
"I overreacted and made a poor decision," Craig said.
...
"Officer! I don't know how this man's cock got into my mouth! It's not mine! I swear, it's not mine!"
Ann Coulter's a fiery little sex kitten.
I want to lick her adam's apple.
I bet Craig has her phone number.
(I wonder if (s)he's into loofahs).
I am so gay for Maddow.
Ew! a woman who uses her brain more than Craig has anonymous sex with other men! For shame.
I request a hard count on that claim, 2:15.
A rock-solid anonymous hard one, please.
"The homophobe right wing is out tonite. Must be getting close to another election."
Oh, sorry.
You said "election."
Nevermind.
Hey, Maurice.
I see the barrel, but where are the idiots?
Must be having the talking points read to them.
Yeeeeehaw!
Hey, Maurice.
I'm turning in, but I got me some bloody shark bait for later.
Fortunately for me, this bed of fish rarely migrates (maybe why they 'fraid of them there immigrants).
Will catch up with you on the back-side, but tell that Craig dude to stop staring at my family grapes. It's not that I'm proud or some such, but that guy's creeping me out.
Maddow?
Hell, I'd do her!
See? I'm NOT GAY!!
2:04, who cares? Did you have a crush on "Pat" from SNL, too?
I hadn't realized that blatant, criminal hypocrisy was such a significant family value for the GOP. Stupid liberal media, keeping me uninformed!
Wow, 2:44.
Did you hurt yourself drumming that one up?
Get a better writer, please.
Now now, 2:49.
Don't be mean. Obviously, 2:44 has trouble distinguishing fictional characters from actual people.
Hey!
W. just found Iran on the map!
Wheee! I smell another war coming!
I think that's the puppy's poo you're smelling, from earlier tonight.
Hell, it smells the same to me.
Me and "Pat" are going to enlist!
Well, good luck with that.
Don't step in any poo.

Um, when the Middle East explodes and gas goes to $20/gallon we will see how many wheeee's turning into tears you stupid asshat. GOP talking points for 08'( and 12' and 16' etc)
Guns, gays and more wars.

AAP, why are you posting as anonymous. Are you a pussy? Have you been so discredited on this site you are afraid to even expose yourself as yourself? I mean, you pleaseure yourself so what's the big deal other than you aint getting any and that aint changing no time soon. Whiners don;t get nowhere.
If you and your fairy luvers think you can bother me with this Craig fag you are mistaken. If the allegations are true then I'll write him off as a liberal.
There in lies the big difference. If Craig was a liberal there would be no big deal. Hell, when a liberal get's in trouble the liberals in DC throw a party and circle the wagons (willie clinton, william jeffereson, Barney the Fag) and a stupid liberal voter will vote them back in office. Craig will leave and he will be asked to leave by Reublicans.
I flipped over to MSNBC a few times and it was Graig this and Craig that and a bunch of ugly liberals bloating as if anyone cared or if they were actually drawing any more viewers. It shows how much MSNBC really cares about the war in Iraq that they cover a fag.
Liberals are stupid.
MSNBC has more war coverage than any station...
ONLY when there isn't a trumped up republican scandal to cover... admit it... they jump at any scandal FIRST and then cover the unpopular war.
Gotta love the MSNBC pundits calling Craig a "sexual deviant"... way to pander to the gay community calling a homsexual a sexual deviant.
NOW that is hypocrisy...
Gay Republican = sexual deviant
Gay Democrat = locked in step voter
Ted Nugent has stepped out to the archery range!
Clinton shtooping an intern...
Marital Affair, Inappropriate Work Relationship
Dems say- "Leave his personal life outta this"
Craig trying to shtoop a cop...
Marital Affair, Gay
Dems- "FREAK- must go!"
Maybe you can catch him lying under oath!
"Clinton didn't lie under oath!"
Rachel Maddow was a Rhodes Scholar
But misguided dogs need a collar
On Craig she's punching
Yet carpet she's munching
Miss Maddow must hate Johnny Dollar
I love the Olbyloon who insists that it's "factually incorrect" to say that Olbermann defended Michael Vick when that is EXACTLY what he did--he gave a heated commentary imploring people to go easy on the guy that whatever punishment he gets was "punishment enough" and that he should be allowed to resume his NFL career and not be banned from the sport even though he clearly was running a gambling operation, betting on a sport, when the NFL rules say that if you are caught gambling on ANY "sport" you are then banned for life. But hey let's rewrite the rules say Olby for his buddy, that dog-killing thug, Michael Vick. If Olbermann beat a dog or two to death on air, the Olbyloons would say the dog had it coming.
"NUMBERS DONT LIE" from TVnewser:
August Ratings: The 8pm Picture
Keith Olbermann's year-to-year growth may be the story at MSNBC, but Countdown was still #3 at 8pmET. Even with CNN's hodge-podge of a schedule at 8 (Paula Zahn's last days, Out in the Open, CNN Special Reports, and an airing of Larry King) Olbermann trailed CNN in total viewers and the 25-54 demo. These are Nielsen LIVE numbers only, so they do not include DVR data, which Countdown generally benefits from.
— FNC — O'Reilly — 2,096,000
— CNN — Various — 727,000
— MSNBC — Countdown — 638,000
— FNC — O'Reilly — 420,000
— CNN — Various — 242,000
— MSNBC — Countdown — 218,000

Here are some choice posts from KarmaBites1:
"Other sites have mentioned that he wears a rug. Not true. He has the softest hair I've ever run my fingers through."
"There are a few ladies posting comments from the old Yahoo board(s) where Keith himself was an active poster. They have been kind enough to share some KO trivia; he was in love with someone other than himself at one time, he wrote a novel about the one who "got away" and he'd send the ladies on the board on-air messages. Feel free to use this thread as a reunion of sorts or just post whatever you want the rest of us to know about him." posted by KarmaBites1 at 3:42 PM 129 Comments
A former "date" of KO mentioned that he wears beads. Well, that's correct. I've found a picture similar to the one he wore on our night together. posted by KarmaBites1 at 1:00 AM 64 Comments
Yep, this is a screen shot from tonight's Countdown show. Whenever I check my statcounter there are always several IP's fron NBC. I hope his staff is having as much fun reading my blog as I have posting on it. Love the Countdown staff, hate the jerk who hosts it.
I've had over 70,000 hits at this site since it's debut. At this rate, I'll have more viewers than you in the ever important 25-54 demo. posted by KarmaBites1 at 9:41 PM 141 Comments

Spot on, Brandon. Olby goes foaming at the mouth apoplectic when accusing BOR of a repulsive act (supporting Nazis) that was a complete fabrication, but when he finally has a chance to go ballistic on something that truly should make all reasonable people outraged, Krazy Keith says we should go easy on Vick. For all you Olbyloons who will will go to any ridiculous lenghts to defend your Orange Hero and think that Keith's Sunday night comment on Vick was just fine, here's a little something to read and ponder:
"Financing a dog-fighting kennel and executing dogs who don't fight well enough are not mistakes. Deliberately killing even one dog is not a mistake. We're not talking here about the careless driving habits of Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan. We're talking about the cold-blooded cruelty required to participate in a sport which compels one dog to kill another dog or be killed by his master if he fails. Try to imagine yourself hanging a dog. Watch it jerk and shriek at the end of its leash. Watch it die. Can't imagine it? Join a very large club. But a very few people CAN imagine it. They can actually DO it. We're talking about something missing in the makeup of a human being. That something missing is not something you suddenly discover is missing when the government indicts you. It's just missing. It's an essential part of humanity you'll never have. Getting caught is not an opportunity for confession, redemption, and forgiveness. It's just exposure."

Ted's off his meds, again.
news to distract,
Reposting in the same thread doesn't make the original more true, or interesting for that matter.
Looks like one of our southern neighbors looks favorably upon a Clinton-Obama ticket:
“HAVANA (Reuters) - Ailing Cuban leader Fidel Castro is tipping Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to team up and win the U.S. presidential election.Clinton leads Obama in the race to be the Democratic nominee for the November 2008 election, and Castro said they would make a winning combination."The word today is that an apparently unbeatable ticket could be Hillary for president and Obama as her running mate," he wrote in an editorial column on U.S. presidents published on Tuesday by Cuba's Communist Party newspaper, Granma.”
Castro likes Hillary/Obama. George W. Bush . . . not so much. It does seem that that Castro reads the Daily Kos and other far left fringe nut job web-sites as evidenced by this quote:
“Castro's only reference to U.S. President George W. Bush in his latest essay was to say that he "needed fraud" to win Florida's electoral college votes and the presidency in the fiercely contested election in 2000.”
He also has nice things to say about President Bill:
“Castro said former President Bill Clinton was "really kind" when he bumped into him and the two men shook hands at a U.N. summit meeting in 2000. He also praised Clinton for sending elite police to "rescue" shipwrecked Cuban boy Elian Gonzalez from the home of his Miami relatives in 2000”
Finally, there’s this:
“He said his favorite U.S. president since 1959 was Jimmy Carter, another Democrat . . . Sixteen years after Dwight Eisenhower broke off diplomatic ties with Cuba, Carter restored low-level relations in 1977.”
http://www.reuters.com/article/politicsNews/idUSN2825114320070829?feedType=RSS&feedName=politicsNews&rpc=22&sp=true
W. & Company are too far right, even for Castro.
"W. & Company are too far right, even for Castro."
When you read a reply like this to my 12:23 post, you know you are dealing with a hopeless basket case.
Castro's political viewpoints are, on the political spectrum, as far LEFT as it gets. This is why he speaks out favorbaly for Hillary, Obama, and Presidents Bill and Jimmy. Get it?

first response...seems it doesn't matter, you're still interested. (Orin, is that you?)
Olbermann is my favorite. I hope I can be guest on his show, we have interests in common, like Hillary is our favorite running for president and we like President Bill and Jimmy too. I hope he will hand me check when he does his interview with me.
Olby To Castro: Here's a check for 8 more schools Oh Great One! Do you have any Cuban Baseball Cards?
Where's A.C.C.S., Sir Loin, and the rest you say?

Limbaugh 20 million listeners
Hannity 15 million listeners
Maddow...........were scapping the bottom here but I'm sure we'll find one or two.
AAR what? About 40 stations now? I'm sure 40 board ops at 40 stations will step forward.
Won't they?
Can we find any Maddow fans or are they all in the Witness Protection Program?
We'll keep looking.
Didn't ARR pick up anybody when that great 'Jane Fonda' network went belly up last week?
Shocking! I mean the 'Jane Fonda Network' was on a whole EIGHT stations!
What a blow-torch of a network!
Get it? blow-torch.

GOP Senators Says Craig Should Resign
By TODD DVORAK, Associated Press Writer
BOISE, Idaho - Two Senate Republican colleagues, including John McCain, called Wednesday for Sen. Larry Craig to resign. The White House, too, expressed disappointment in the case of the Idaho Republican caught in a men's room undercover police operation.
Arizona Sen. McCain and Sen. Norm Coleman of Minnesota, the state where Craig was arrested, became the first senators to join Rep. Peter Hoekstra, R-Mich., urging Craig's resignation.
McCain told CNN the decision was Craig's to make, "but my opinion is that when you plead guilty to a crime, you shouldn't serve. That's not a moral stand. That's not a holier-than-thou. It's just a factual situation."
"I think he should resign," McCain said.
Coleman said in a statement, "Senator Craig pled guilty to a crime involving conduct unbecoming a senator."
________________________________________________
It's comforting to see my conservative brothers still know right and from wrong and can make those painful necessary decisions when SOMEONE ELSE gets caught with their pants down.
The RepubliKKKan party is a mess.
When I was doing young boys, my Democratic colleagues in Congress asked me to resign . . . or maybe that was the Boy Scout Troop where I used to be scoutmaster. Oh well, I can always get on as assistant boy's choir director somewhere.
Whiners don;t get nowhere. If you and your fairy luvers think you can bother me with this Craig fag you are mistaken. If the allegations are true then I'll write him off as a liberal.
_____________________________________
I really don't have anything to say about this moment of sweet lucidity from the neocon formerly known as Laura Bush.
I just thought it should be reposted.
Hell, it should be on a T-Shirt.
"If the allegations are true then I'll write him off as a liberal."
Of course you will! Why would we suddenly expect honesty from you and yours.
econdly, by pursuing the course of action you outline, you have negated any possibility of turning this digusting episode into a growth experience, haven't you? You and your unspeakably corrupt and tawdry party will be forever living in a "culture of corruption" and you will be harming the nation as well. A very responsible and mature position you have taken.
Posted by: Clucker at August 29, 2007 8:58 PM
You do realize Craigs is being asked to resign by his fellow Republican pols and that you (and goodness knows, me....) are addressing some anonymous jackass on a blog board...right?....
"You do realize Craig is being asked to resign by his fellow Republican pols"
Yes, I respect that position also, because my fellow Democrats asked me to resign . . .or wait, no they didn't, that was the Boy Scout troop where I was an assistant Scoumaster.
Try to stay within this decade at least, GOP nutball.
This Craig story must be hitting a weak spot for you. Instead of dealing with yet another GOP gay hypocrite that preached family values, you need you dig up decades old news.
Posted by: at August 30, 2007 12:57 AM
But was Craig the family values preaching sort?
Everything I've read about Craig makes him sound like a fiscal conservative rather than a social conservative like former senator Rick Santorium.
He signed the Defense of Marriage Act, but then so did Bill Clinton and other Dems who supposedly support "gay rights" in order to appease the majority.
Craig won't be the last pol to be a hypocrite...or the last one to be caught living a double life.
The partisan left's defense of President Clinton having perverted, adulterous sexual contact in an office that has special symbolism and is part of a workplace has always been......"it was private sexual behavior between two consenting adults."
The hypocritical bloviating about Senator Craig is all on the left's side. I have been consistent, dear friends (especially Clucker and AAP (mental midget wanna be)): Craig and Clinton are both perverts who do not deserve respect of position publicly. Clinton should have resigned and Craig should resign.
Time frame is not an indicator of the strength of my argument regarding the hypocrisy of the left in this regard....especially the mental midgets on this board. "Pervert" is in the mind of the beholder, obviously.
I ask those calling Craig a pervert: Was President Clinton's admitted behavior perverted?
Honestly answer now....sexual preferences included....why is Craig a pervert and Clinton not one, if that is your conclusion?
Ahhhh, intellectual honesty is difficult, now isn't it.
Oh, and also let me point out that my other posts regarding this subject are in regards to the left's other hypocrisy regarding privacy/choice and the moral call to being an "out" individual with same gender sexual preferences. If this ain't an obvious one, then I don't know if there are any intellectually honest people on this board representing the radical fringe left.
One can argue that intercourse and oral sex between a consenting adult male and a consenting adult female is adulterous, if one or both of the parties are married, but I don't think you can label the acts "perverse". There is, however, something terribly revolting about an anonymous physical act between two (2) males in a public restroom. Perhaps, that is just my age showing. Indeed, I find Lesbian artificial insemination, a la the Cheney's a bit revolting as well.
Don't get me wrong, I am not approving of Clinton's actions. I merely quibble with your label, Cee.
Posted by: Clucker at August 30, 2007 2:11 PM
Well, it's interesting that you put the stipulation of gender on it.
I doubt you'd let a conservative get away with arriving at such a conclusion as this based upon that specification. Especially if the principal was a Dem..., but I digress...
Men have long solicited female prostitutes and anonymous female strangers of the nonprofessional sort, for sex in public-- including public bathrooms, parked cars, parks, etc.
It's not like this doesn't go on and that everyone doesn't know it and yawn...
Personally, I doubt your visceral reaction, that you say comes from age, is that at all. I'd venture it has everything to do with the politcal....eh.... "persuasion....." of Craig (and Mary Cheney's father...)

Posted by: Clucker at August 30, 2007 2:11 PM
McGreevy was trolling truck stops, revolting as well? What if it were 2 women in te bathroom, revolting? What about Melissa Ethridge, revolting? She's gay and was ai'd with some hippies/drug addicts semen. Ok? Oh, she donates to the (d) party, my mistake.
"One can argue that intercourse and oral sex between a consenting adult male and a consenting adult female is adulterous if one or both of the parties are married, but I don't think you can label the acts "perverse"."
###
Logic says you are factually wrong, Clucker. If one of the participants is married, they are commiting adultery. Fact. If they are unmarried, they are commiting fornication.
Fact. If they are achieving climax other than with coitus, it is defined as sodomy.....fact.
All of these definitions fall under sexual perversion....Like it or not, being a catholic, you know these are the facts, jack.
Obviously, the bedroom habits of the posters here seem to also be accepted public discourse, but let me just say that if you start calling what Craig did "perverse" you really have no way of avoiding the next logical question.....
What about what Bill Clinton and Monica in the oval office?
It is sad to see people actually not disgusted by a married man receiving oral sex from a much younger, impressionable and unpaid single woman who is undeer his supervision in the public's building. I was saddened then, and now I get to see the hypocrisy, just like with Congressman Foley's behavior....
The same, permissible leftist "progressives" who overlook perverted sexual proclivities label someone else "pervereted." Oh, the inconsitency!
All I am asking for is some intellectual honesty, Clucker.....you're better than this. Please just answer the question!
Nice rebuttal/diversion, why. Good spolbyloon.....I haven't looked at that website since the last time you brought it up, sounds like you read it much more than I do, which is twice! Any good updates?

Well anon, I just hope you are not one of the many chicken posters who called Craig a pervert.
Calling someone a pervert is always a moral argument.
And an argument that should make one uncomfortable.
Choose your arguments carefully.

Anon at 5:45PM.....when I start tailoring my ethics based on what a political strategist is saying, I'll be a proud member of the leftwing of this country......
For now I will use another foundation for such judgements......
And Anon at 5:42PM......
You know, I have nothing to post except this.....
Shut up.
See Cee's admonition to the pukey little prick just above.
I don't even want to copy and paste it.

Oh wait, anon at 5:45PM...I missed this....
"Self respecting republicans everywhere are cringing and deeply worried."

And they are calling for Craig's resignation and Senate investigation. I am confident he will not last in public life and respect....
Unlike the adulterous sodomist former president, Mr. Hillary Clinton.
Oh yeah, the country really wants 4 more years of Clinton....we'll see.
And if the hypocritcial and weak left fringe does benefit from the scandal, I am confident our great nation can weather such a tragedy.
Oh, and Anon at 5:42.....
Again, Shut up!
Well then Anon at 6:08PM, we agree....

Yes, I'm sure "elevating the conservation" to you could most certainly have meant a mere lecture that no one, in any context or circumstance, ever use a vulgar word here again. Yes, you do truly believe that, rather than it being just a self-serving device for you to point the finger.
Yes, I agree with you that you do. You most certainly are THAT dumb.
Oh, Clucker, then I apologize. You've convinced me that your homophobic feelings and prejudices are as deeply and sincerely felt as the day is long...
However, I remain unconvinced that you'd tolerate without condemnation any "RRWer" confessing to the same feelings had Craig been a Democrat.
The fact that so much deviancy and perversion happens to be coming from the RRWR's at the moment is not my fault. However, I can assure you that if this were coming from the opposite direction, I would be as filled with revulsion.
Posted by: Clucker at August 30, 2007 8:37 PM
Perhaps that would be more evident if you weren't labeling the illicit sexual cigar tricks of one guy "sin" and the other "sexual perversion".

I noticed you responded to cees and avoided mine, any reason?
I guess when you are placed between a rock and a hard place as I did with you here...exposing your hypocrisy as well...
McGreevy was trolling truck stops, revolting as well? What if it were 2 women in the bathroom, revolting? What about Melissa Ethridge, revolting? She's gay and was ai'd with some hippies/drug addicts semen. Ok? Oh, she donates to the (d) party, my mistake.
.....you just go into one of the most immature rants laced with lies (see 9:07) I have yet to see here and that's saying a lot!
I will repeat, my first comment regarding the story was the leftists on this site....LOTS on Anons, AAP, MM (Why), Clucker, Loin, throwing around the word, "pervert." If you look back at the wonderful discussion about sodomy (I am being clinical, not profane) we all had when Foley was in the news, the same reaction occurred.....
He's a pedophile....hypocritical republican....
Once again, I never excused the man....I wanted him out, resign.....he did.
My problem with the leftists again is the double-standard.....Using pervert like it is a scarlet letter on a blog, while no more than two weeks earlier, claiming Clinton's actions were ok.....they were a private matter not impacting you or me, leave him alone.
But it was not private. Clinton was in the oval office, breaking his vows, with an underling. Cecelia is right. The sexual preference seems to make a difference to the "progressives" as does the party moniker.
The other issue is about being supportive of a radical social agenda that includes forcing a definition of "marriage," and what parents can teach their children as moral conduct. The LGBT constituency has declared that not publically announcing one's sexual preference as "unhealthy," and some even support "forced" outing. I have met many gay men and lesbians who do not support these goals and just want to live peaceful lives.
Barney Frank is out of line declaring Senator Craig is gay and pronouncing him a hyporcrite for not supporting his agenda. It is intolerant of a person's privacy and ignorant. The left has also demonized Mary Cheney for also not being a vocal advocate for the "gay" agenda.
With regard to Craig, Clinton, Foley, and millions like them... many people have problems with sexual addiction and impulse control that leads to all sorts of paraphilias.
Politically, the left seems all to ready to assign "pervert" or "sexually repressed self loathing closeted homosexual" to people of differing political or relgious affiliations with no more evidence than what Keith Olbermann has reported.
Well, that's all fine and dandy, but assumtions were supposed to be avoided by you evidence based progressives. The fundy flat-earthers like me are the stuuuupid ones.
Oh, and there are democrat scandals out there, ladies and gentlemen....a boring campaign contribution one involving a Clinton.......AGAIN!
Oh yeah, we want another 4 years of them and their poor ethics, again?
In one sentence, "rock", "hard" and "exposing"? We know where your mind is. The only question is: What male RRWR office holder are you with?
Posted by: Clucker at August 30, 2007 9:33 PM

Too late, I already did. But I missed this....
Oh, and just in case you claim conservatives do not see the hypocrisy in the "progressive" and "tolerant" Democrats....here is a nice challenge from a link at Malkin's HOTAIR.COM:
"Chris Matthews, opening this afternoon's HARDBALL:
"Idaho Senator Larry Craig, cultural warrior of the right, stands naked tonight, exposed as both a sexual deviant and a world-class hypocrite.
"Matthews presumably labelled Craig 'a sexual deviant' based not on the mere fact of his presumptive homosexuality, but on his engaging in the kind of public 'cruising' to which the senator pleaded guilty in Minnesota.
"I challenge Matthews to flatly ask the Democratic presidential contenders and other Dem leaders he encounters in coming weeks whether they share his view that all men who engage in such conduct are 'sexual deviants.' Should make for some illuminating TV as Dems walk a tightrope between public mores and the sensibilities of one of the Dem party's important constituent groups."

Did Clinton Lie About Targeting Bin Laden?
It appears that Bill Clinton may have exaggerated his record when it came to strategizing against Osama bin Laden. Newsweek's Michael Isikoff and Mark Hosenball take a look at the Inspector General's report of the pre-9/11 intelligence failures at the CIA and find an interesting nugget. Despite Clinton's angry assertion to Chris Wallace in last year's controversial Fox interview, he never gave the CIA an assassination order regarding bin Laden (h/t: CQ reader Mark):
The report also criticized intelligence problems when Bill Clinton was president, detailing political and legal “constraints” agency officials felt in the late 1990s. In September 2006, during a famous encounter with Fox News anchor Wallace, Clinton erupted in anger and waived his finger when asked about whether his administration had done enough to get bin Laden. “What did I do? What did I do?” Clinton said at one point. “I worked hard to try to kill him. I authorized a finding for the CIA to kill him. We contracted with people to kill him. I got closer to killing him than anybody has gotten since.”
Clinton appeared to have been referring to a December 1999 Memorandum of Notification (MON) he signed that authorized the CIA to use lethal force to capture, not kill, bin Laden. But the inspector general’s report made it clear that the agency never viewed the order as a license to “kill” bin Laden—one reason it never mounted more effective operations against him. “The restrictions in the authorities given the CIA with respect to bin Laden, while arguably, although ambiguously, relaxed for a period of time in late 1998 and early 1999, limited the range of permissible operations,” the report stated. (Scheuer agreed with the inspector general’s findings on this issue, but said if anything the report was overly diplomatic. “There was never any ambiguity,” he said. “None of those authorities ever allowed us to kill anyone. At least that’s what the CIA lawyers told us.” A spokesman for the former president had no immediate comment.)
