On his radio program tonight, broadcaster and constitutional attorney Mark Levin once again addressed Olbermann and Football Night on NBC. And whom has Dr Levin heard from? Edward R Murrow's former assistant! We have the audio for your listening pleasure:
"Hung like a thumbtack"?? Ouch...
To be fair, Daily Kos, Democratic Underground and Huffington Post also help co-produce Keith's show.
It's nice to see Oblermann Watch go for the moral high ground and pursue the intellectual argument by featuring this Mark Levin clip. "Keith Overbite," "MSLSD," "left-wing kook," "Hillary Rotten Clinton," "nut cases," "piece of crap," "nut," "creep," "biggest pervert in the world," etc, Yep, just another loud, obnoxious right-wing radio talk show host who's found the nastier he is on the air in trash mouthing liberals the more neo-cons that'll be glued to the radio for their daily mind meld.
Levin boasts of his 4,000,000 listeners as he laughs at Olbermann's 700,000. However, TVNewser reports Olbermann's NBC debut got 4,146,000 viewers according to Neilsen's fast-national ratings. Not too shabby. It's about double Bill O'Reilly's, the king of right-wing cable.
But, J$, at least I'm beginning to understand where your debate tactics come from. When you dare to stick your neck out to spout off your opinion, you sound like a Levin understudy. ;)
snmabt? brainless?
Apples to oranges buddy- but go ahead and believe the ratings bullshit the lefties cram down your throat. 4th place in networks ratings gets you cancelled everytime! But not in Olbyland! Its a huge success.
The Olbyloons are furiously spinning the disaster that was KO's debut on NBC. That's how I know that they know he really bombed.
And isn't it interesting that the Loons, such as Sknabt above, have no problem whatsoever with the insults that Olbermann throws out, many racial or sexist in nature, but oh boy, let ANYONE do the same to Olbermann and they throw a hissy?
Reading the NBC Sports message board thread on Keith, and a couple of other boards critiquing Sunday's performance, it appears that if Football Night in America turns into a disaster on the Indonesian tsunami scale because the five show hosts can't get along, the finger of blame is going to be initially directed at Tiki Barber, because he had the temerity to appear on "Fox and Friends" before taking the NBC gig.
Assuming Eli Manning isn't writing those posts, they may have a point in that Keith's only real function on the new Sunday night show would seem to be as the one who will call out certain players, because the three FNA ex-players won't ... except that Barber just called out Manning on last week's show, and Collinsworth has been doing that on and off for a decade. So what the heck is Keith's role going to be? He's not going to be host, that's Costas' job, and he's not going to be the one breaking down the plays, because that's Barber, Collinsworth and Bettis' role. And if they stop the whole show for Keith to deliever a 2-5 minute special sports comment ("Mister Coughlin ... RESIGN!") while everyone's waiting for early game highlights, all the football fans are going to flip over to ESPN until Michaels and Madden come on.
That leaves the option of Olbermann randomly inserting his verbal bon mots at the end of each highlight segment, which promises to be both a series of mini-buzz kills and a sure way of irritating the others on the show mad that they're losing air time for this guy who brings nothing important to the table. Which wouldn't be new -- when Fox had Keith on the World Series pre- and post-game shows, be brought nothing important to the table there, either -- but NFL pre and post-game shows nowadays demand trash-talking between the hosts (which started when Fox got the NFC contract in 1994), which means any criticism Keith tosses at some player or coach in a game that day is liable to provoke a comeback by one of the ex-players on the show who doesn't see things Olby's way. And we all know that handling on-air challenges is not Keith's forte in life. They may have to make sure there's a bathtub in one of the nearby restrooms in the GE Building after each show is over.
All that means it will be fun taking a peek over at NBC once in a while when the late afternoon game on Fox or CBS doesn't run long and see if the level of tension on the set hasn't escalated into armed combat.
> Not too shabby.
Coming in fourth out of five on Sunday network prime time is not shabby? Only on OlbyPlanet.
And thank you for your crocodile tears over eeevil Levin's name-calling. Have you ever looked at the Olbersaurus? You are willing to promote Oralmann on your little website, yet I didn't see you criticize him for name-calling.
Mark Levin rocks!
At football Mister Thumbtack struck out
As if there was ever a doubt
The NFL viewer
Won't watch Keith's manure
Fans want football, not some moonbat lout
Sen. Larry Craig-R was arrested this summer by an undercover cop in an operation targeting lewd conduct in an airport men's room, it was revealed yesterday.
Somebody better tell the 'Roving Rev of The Rest Stops' former 'LOV GOV' Jim McGreevey.
Oh wait I forgot!
It's New Jersey! A democratic state! Where an illegal immigrant can rape kids and get low bail!
Never Mind!
However, TVNewser reports Olbermann's NBC debut got 4,146,000 viewers according to Neilsen's fast-national ratings. Not too shabby. It's about double Bill O'Reilly's, the king of right-wing cable.
haha are you serious? You're attributing Keith to those ratings? lol. Its fucking Sunday Night Football!! On a major network (aka not cable). They could put a monkey pleasuring himself on before the game and it would get 4,000,000 viewers. too funny.
NBC Message board is still lit up with...
Football people across the country ripping his appearance!
AND
Women saying how great he is with growing ratings and the voice of america. "Go Keith"
Pathetic display of support... same loons!
Keith's number one psychotic fan, the infamous BerryBush/Kathy/Dorrie/Tru/Orinenglish/ and I highly suspect of being one particular poster here at Owatch who shall remain nameless for the moment, began a thread yesterday at DU to try and rally the DUmmies to Keith's cause. Of course they don't get that their comments stick out like sore thumbs because that message board has a post count which clearly reveals who is new to the board. Also, they are swooning over him and they aren't talking sports so they clearly aren't sports fans, just KO fans. The ratings tell the real tale and they were horrible. Even sports websites, even sites usually favorable to Olbermann have panned his Sunday night debut AND his Sunday Night NFL Sports bit and there is no spinning that. Unless of course you're a loon.
The lovefest for Olbermann is mostly chicks. This poster even used heart icons.
Great stuff from Poggie Manone at the NBC forum:
"Keith Olberman is dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeamy. In an intellectual, pelotas-to-the-walls and yet vulnerable kind of way. I would highly recommend that the haters watch just one Countdown episode, and then go and do research over whether or not any of the points he made, or his guests made, were true, as in factual. Not true, as in what you want to believe..."
"PS: NBC - I'm not kidding. The smarty-pants ladies love themselves some Keith Olberman."
A smart comment from an Olby lover:
As a HUGE Olberman FAN, I cant believe I agree with the right wingers here but I do. Keith has a great show on MSNBC. However, he has made himself a hero of the Left and cannot go back to being just a sportscaster. He is much more than that now and good for him. NBC should quietly let him go and hire a sports guy who isn’t better known as a political commentator on either side of the isle.
Keep sports and politics separate!
Olbermann a sex symbol? To a bunch of desperate forty-fifty-year olds maybe. Oh yes, and to golddigging 20'somethings.
Posts Brandon:

END QUOTE
You mean sperm spitoons. This boy can't relate to a real woman on a mental level. He can only get laid by something that I call Tabs, as in easy opening cans.
Wait till this chick or the one that married the little faggot Kucinich dump their asses and come out with a book in 3-4 years. That will be the end of them although I doubt Olby lasts 2 years. Flame throwers never last unless it's the Comedy Channel. They could use him on Cartoon Planet.
Olby's HUGE fans are also estrogen-deprived.
More from the NBC message board:
The best part about this message thread is that there are far more posts here than anyone else.
Buzz = People = Viewers = Profit
Those who are anti-Olbermann would be smart to not watch but at the same time, not comment.
There is no such thing as bad publicity
Publicity on an NBC messageboard?
Pulease!... just another attempt to curb the tidal wave of criticism towards thir hero.
The loons are soooo stupid.
Anyone who saw that goofball on Sunday was disgusted.
LOL! I guess the "he had bigger ratings than O'Reilly" meme ain't working so they're going to try and push this "no such thing as bad publicity" angle now. Riiiiiggght. Except they are wrong. Television viewers don't tune into people with high negatives. Olby's high negatives have to be off the charts.
Clucker- read the NBC Sports posts- they are from real people.
They only people who seem to like him is the fringe left. Everyone else sees him as a hack... as we do.
His fan club creates the buzz... its artificial...
"Go to NBC Sports and post something positive"
Hardly the momentum you speak of.
And his stagnant ratings prove it. Up 3% from last year?
What? He's consistantly in 3rd for a reason.
cuz the NYTimes hardly pushes the needle anymore- just like NBC. They have been exposed for being partisan so any hit job is investigated thoroughly.
The Patraeus aide story is huge, but there has been little coverage in the MSM.

Bigger than Sandy Burgler, which got zero msm coverage? Not.
if the voters think that hillary just mis-spoke now, what will they call it when she does it as a president. we have been there with bill.
