"COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN" (8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. ET)
Host: Keith Olbermann
Topics/Guests:
Keith "Monkey Man" Olbermann launched into his usual lefty DailyKos inspired tirade. Democrats won't guarantee all troops will be out of Iraq by the end of the first term. Enter Sen. Jim Webb. Left wing water carrier comes to the rescue of Senator Clinton over Tim Russert's "gotcha" question of the evening. Was it her defining moment? Olby will make the answer definite! Olby interview with BJ Clinton, his idol. Political "crisis" [Ding!]. White House trying to silent the press. Olbsession about "racist comments" in their "racist context" regarding "Orally."
#5: The "diasterous" war in Iraq. "Bad enough the next President will inherit disasterous aftermath." Sheriff Olbermann rides in on his high horse with evidence to prove the President was "determined" to invade Iraq. More lamenting of the fact we might have soldiers in Iraq past 2013 (nevermind the fact we've had soldiers in South Korea for more than fifty years - granted they aren't being shot at and engaged in active combat - just a threat of nuclear war). President Bush is going to have a hard time preserving his legacy. Oralmann heads to "El Pais" of Spain for a transcript that the President was going to go to war with Iraq with or without a UN resolution - gasp! Olby believes he is fortunate to be joined by Senator Webb of Virginia. Mr. Webb pats himself on the back for a piece he wrote for a newspaper against the war. Oralmann is depressed that Democrats don't believe soldiers will be gone by 2013. Konspiracy Theory about war with Iran and the "Sense of the Senate" regarding the Iranian Revolutionary Guard being a terrorist organisation. Editorial note: I am going to drink myself into olbivion six years from now if arrogant Senator Webb gets reelected. Ugh. Cannot abide him. Back to our smear program, Sen. Webb is offended by those who "politicize" our soldiers (regarding Rush Limbaugh) despite the fact that some soldiers (Votevets.org) set up PACs to hammber politicians and politicize a war they apparently don't like. Hmmm.
Clip of Senator Clinton making a funny and nodding a lot. The highlight of Olby's sports casting career: interview with Fmr. President B.J. Clinton! Fat Ass nods more than Hillary. He can hardly contain his slobbering. He's so enthralled, he can't even ask a question. He's holding a little card with all those hardballs he's going to throw at the former President. Pres. Clinton brings up Hauptmann's favorite program, the "neocon sex fantasy" 24 and the potential situation of a terrorist knowing where a nuclear weapon or other WMD might be. Should we torture them? Clip of President Bush making a verbal gaffe. Geeze, the ever reputable reporter David Shuster attempts to slime a Republican Congresswoman and is proven ridiculously wrong but the President makes a verbal gaffe. Horrors!
#4: I am convinced Keith Olbermann belongs on a compound comprised of people who think the government is out to get them and stockpile weapons. Caption: "Uncle Sam is Watching You." Some nonsense that troubles Jonathan Turley. The ever dramatic Perfessor is asked which is the worst worm that "this can of worms open up." 'The NSA should have had a course on what to do when the President orders you to commit crimes on Americans.' (Olby laughs) Right. Needless to say, no court has ruled that what the paranoid Perfessor and his would be lapdog is illegal save the Disctrict Court Judge Anna Diggs Taylor (appointed by Hugo Chavez buddy Fmr. President Jimmy Carter) that was dismissed later by the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals stating the ACLU (the plaintiffs) had no standing. Moving along. More evil doings of the President manipulating the legislature and the judiciary. "They didn't want any checks and balances," opines Turley. Great thanks.
Oddball: Someone flees the cops in a pickup truck. Two headed frog with "his head up his arse." Fallafel [Ding!] reference. Images of Olbersturmfuhrer nodding in approval of everything BJ Clinton has to say.
#3: President Clinton gives loans for reading glasses. Oralmann even brings up O'Reilly with the former President! He really can't get over his Olbsession! Mr. Clinton hates personal attacks (never used them, ever). Republicans are engaged in a baint-and-switch. More reminders of that so-called evil ad against Fmr. Sen. Max Cleland. Fat Ass asks the gentleman if he knows when we will get out of Iraq. With all due respect to the former President, how the hell would he know? HE'S NOT PRESIDENT. Pres. Clinton talks for five minutes without interruption.
#2: More President Clinton interview. He's raising money to provide children reading glasses. Do you think Jabba will hand the President a cheque like he did last time? Mr. Clinton whips out a pair of reading glasses which engenders an "Ahh" from Der Fuhrer. Plug for more Clinton tomorrow. Olbession plug again.
#1: Keith Olbermann insults Stephen A. Smith. He seems to be infatuated with O'Reilly that it's borderline disturbing. I can't stomach anymore. A "sympathetic" biographer who called O'Reilly "demented" is featured for Olby's number one story. Psychoanalysis of O'Reilly by ignorant people. Good night.
In the Media Matters minute, John Gibson of "Fixed Noise" [Ding!] for telling the truth that George Soros gives money to Media Matters. Adam's Apple Olbermann lays one on Gibby by saying they fired him - oooh! Guess what? I think Gibson's proud of that! He was getting tired of filling in for Bathman while he soaked. Wonder where this came from? MediaMatters of course! Did Olby actually refute what Gibson said? Nah. Because he can't. "Fixed News" [Ding!] again! They've declared war on Iran. "Fox Noise" is hosting a show, "Ticking Bomb." Thanks Newshounds. Dana Perino wins the gold for wanting to pick the interviewer from NPR to interview President Bush. Apparently, on OlbyPlanet, that's not how things are done. Sheriff Fat Ass regulates further by pointing out they wanted Juan Williams to interview the President, O'Reilly's "chief apologist." You know, that happy negro? That comment was never mentioned on OlbyPlanet. I bet BJ Clinton picked Olby to interview him because he knew he was going to get tough questions. Anyway, thanks to ANOTHER blue blog, CommentsFromLeftField. Left field eh? You don't say?
Olbermann's book The book that bears Olbermann's went through the roof to #10,448 at amazon.com, but "Culture Warrior" is #2,147. (It's that 2-for-$25 sale!) The OlbyTome sadly remains unranked; O'Reilly's book is #1,943 there, and is one of the top five books of 2006 per Publishers Weekly. Wednesday's Hour of Spin managed a second place finish in total viewers and in that beloved demo. Tonight's MisterMeter reading: 2 [LOW]
Wow. After watching that interview with Clinton, Monica has nothing on Olby. Can you say balls deep?
Olby is rapt by the words of his Lord and Master, BJ Clinton. Slick Willie has Olbywan in a trance. BJ commands him: Hand me a check...Hand me a check...Hillary is your candidate...Introduce me to your girlfriend...
I almost expected Bathtub-boy to stick a cigar up his ass. Is this how she did it, Mr. Former Presedent?
Why............
Hillary will never be president. Her voice is like fingernails scratching down the blackboard. She is too unlikable. Do you even like her?
John Dean is a complete non-entity. Nobody cares what he says about anything.
Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States.
It's not only because she is such a strong candidate, but it's also because of the truly failed neo-con movement, and the diasterous presidency fo George W. Bush.
If you’re so confident, go find the deed to your mobile home and head to Vegas
Gibby is a worse person in the world. Gibby, there aren't any real journalists at MSNBC.
OMG. Why don't you think quoted Our Favorite Felon about the GOP. Neocons might not be popular, but conservatives are. Hillary as candidate will be a gift to the GOP.
Is John Dean even allowed to vote because of his felony conviction?
Now Olby insults Stephen A. Smith of ESPN. Olby knows no shame.
Olby is a poltroon.
At first I thought I had accidentally tuned into LOGO, but then Olby's ugly face popped out from BJ's lap . ..
When the nation hears how much her socialist agenda will cost them and our country's security, they will run away from her en masse. Why don't you think - why don't you wake up?
Rico: "Hillary will never be president"
THIS from someone who only last night said it was fine with him if we commited mass genocide on all Muslims.
Lets hope for the sake of humanity that this obvious madman is not much of a political prognosticator.
Rico...How many pools did u close today, cabana boy ?
Nice racism. Hillary is now getting ripped by Rachel Maddow on Abrams for her lack of commitment in bringing home the troops.
Olbermann thinks barely anybody is paying attention to O'Reilly's remarks because people see Bill as mentally deficient? He's not the one with the Olbsession, Keith!
The story ran its news cycle and now it's done, no matter how much you try to trump it up.
Keith asked that weird guy at the end why Bill doesn't run the full remarks on his TV show, which shows that Keith hasn't heard the full remarks since they are 40 minutes long.
Rico: "Hillary will never be president"

Look everybody, Mike's here. Why so late to arrive and what was the hold up? John and Elizabeth Edwards having you put a late night wash and wax on the old Mercedes?
Did anyone catch Marvin Kitman's last point to Olby about his obsession with O'Reilly? Olby said he has heard that from a couple of different sources- OW?
Mike,
You will have to take my word for it, but I told lots of people that "Al Gore will never be president". I got that one right! Also, during the late 1990s, after the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993, I was wondering, for the longest time, why the Muslims hadn't come back to finish the job. It took them eight years to do that, which surprised me. I thought they would have taken those towers down long before 2001.
0
Dumb Fuck,
How many Muslims do you want killed?
0
Is that your best, Why? You're not in very good form tonight. I will probably write in a candidate next election. I would think David Duke would be more your candidate than mine. He is anti-Catholic.
Hillary is now getting ripped by Rachel Maddow on Abrams for her lack of commitment in bringing home the troops.
Posted by: Sharon at September 27, 2007 9:59 PM
Sharon, who would vote for a KKK member if he was the GOP candidate.Because afterall, he'd be prolife which is her main issue.
I'd much rather have Ms. Maddow as president but she's not running, so Hillary will do.
Posted by: Why don't you think at September 27, 2007 10:11 PM
POST OF THE MONTH!!!!!
This beats what Shuster said! :D
0
AL gore doesn't believe he will be president because he has not entered this race now at an opportune time for him. Listening to a couple of minutes of MSNBC Dan Abrams shows me that the top tier democratic candidates could be easily taken on by Gore.
Why............
I was never obsessed with your name. I do think it is stupid name, but the stupidest name of all is " ".
I do not hate Democrats. The real truth is that you hate all Republicans, Christians, and conservatives. It's called transference.
I just think that you are silly people, governed by unconscious thoughts, feelings, and motives.
0
So you mean you are all mouth, and no balls?
I guess KO gave Bill the check before they went on this time?
At least with KO unlike GQ magazine the Clinton's knew they didn't have to strong arm anyone to kill any negative stories..Because on Countdown there are never any negative stories involving the Clintons.
Now we know why BJ set up his office in Harlem: drugs and prostitutes
Why.........
I have mentioned your name the same number of times as you have mentioned mine.
You have mentioned my name several times in the last few minutes. I guess that means that you are obsessed with it. Tit for tat, Baby!
orry Cecilia, "No your mother" is really hard to beat !
Posted by: Why don't you think at September 27, 2007 10:21 PM
That's not what I said to the person expressing some sort of animus against people from the Upper Midwest, einstein... :D
But I love your post to Sharon! I'm assuming since you disdain the party politics that she plays that this means you'll consider voting for someone who, like Hillary, will also keep troops in Iraq for awhile... Say Giulianni ... :D
0
Why are you waiting? What? NO BALLS?
It was a typo, idiot. I capitalized Gore the next time around.
s that your best, Why? You're not in very good form tonight. I will probably write in a candidate next election. I would think David Duke would be more your candidate than mine. He is anti-Catholic.
Posted by: Sharon at September 27, 2007 10:16 PM
Sharon, yes, IS the best Why can do and it's glorious indeed... :D
Although he routinely labels people as not caring for the troops if they want to keep them in Iraq, he says he'll condescend to vote for Hillary though she is continuing that.... and Why chides you for only voting the party line in the same post!
Why fell into his own trap. Isn't it great? I have to watch Mad Men. (silly me). Catch you later.
I can tell you who America won't vote for: Hillary Clinton. And that's going to be who the Dems nominate. And you are going to lose. Again. Polls don't mean shit.
My so called "condescending" remark about Hillary as you put it was tongue in cheek. But being the humorless wench you are, I wouldn't have expected you to pick up on it.
Posted by: Why don't you think at September 27, 2007 11:11 PM
On the contrary, I found immense humor in your reply to Sharon about her being a party partisan, even as you made excuses for Hillary that are beneath Rachael Maddow... :D
Yeah, you fools thought you had the last two elections sewed up too. I think we know how that ended for you. People hate HRC. The DEMS don't even like HRC!
> Because on Countdown there are never any negative stories involving the Clintons.
That's what we have Fox News for and the rest of the right wing media.
posted by Why don't I leave
Yeah, that's why I just finished watching Bill Clinton being interviewed on Fox News. Another negative story from the "right wing media", right?
> Hillary that are beneath Rachael Maddow...
There's a straight line in there somewhere, but I ain't gonna touch it. Today's my day off.
I don't have to like EVERYTHING about Hilary to think she'll be a good president, and she's certainly better by far than any GOP candidate.
I intentionally left out the "l" in Hillary. I know you need something for your next post .
Posted by: Why don't you think at September 27, 2007 11:30 PM
The irony and the humor of your saying you vote on Dems because they are better all-in-all than Republicans, after having insulted Sharon in the manner that you did, is quite beyond your insight, as well, isn't it.. :D
Evidence of Olbermann and the Left Islamic sympathy!
Did Olbermann mention this below?
NO!

Videos spur Va. appointee's resignation By BOB LEWIS, Associated Press Writer
Thu Sep 27, 3:02 PM ET
A member of the state's Commission of Immigration resigned Thursday, a few hours after Gov. Timothy M. Kaine was told about online videos showing the appointee condemning Israel and advocating "the jihad way."
Kaine learned of the videos from a caller to his live monthly radio program and accepted the resignation of Dr. Esam S. Omeish about three hours later.
"Dr. Omeish is a respected physician and community leader, yet I have been made aware of certain statements he has made which concern me," Kaine said in a news release announcing the resignation.
The governor said Omeish resigned because he did not want the controversy to distract from the work of the 20-member commission appointed to study the effects of immigration and federal immigration policies on Virginia.
Omeish, who is president of the Muslim American Society and chief of the division of general surgery at INOVA Alexandria Hospital, is shown in a video on YouTube denouncing an invasion of Lebanon by the "Israeli war machine" during an Aug. 12, 2006, rally in Washington.
He also accuses Israel of genocide and massacres against Palestinians and says on the video that the "Israeli agenda" controls Congress.
In a separate, undated video, Omeish tells a crowd of Washington-area Muslims, "...you have learned the way, that you have known that the jihad way is the way to liberate your land." The video was credited to Investigative Project, a Washington-based organization that investigates radical Islamic organizations.
Omeish did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Mahdi Bray, a spokesman for the MAS, said Omeish was not available.
Omeish was among 10 appointments Kaine made on Aug. 2 to the panel created this year. The commission met in Richmond for the first time Tuesday.
There's a straight line in there somewhere, but I ain't gonna touch it. Today's my day off.

I'm not sure it's a "straight" line, Johnny, but I'll just add that to Why, Hillary's on top....

Why wasn't it on Olbermann?
Silence from the Left!
Getting your talking points huh?
Why is spinning, actually believing that we can't go back and see exactly what transpired. Rachel Maddow was busting on HRC for her position on Iraq, you know, the Rhodes Scholar who is smart enough to understand backpedaling and lack of commitment. Why was caught off guard. He tripped himself up on the war issue.
you're incapable of voting for a democrat.
-wrong
I vote for some democrats locally, for instance the mayor and some candidates who cross filed.
I would have voted for Robert Casey, Sr. had I been interested in voting at that time of my life, you know, the democrat who took on Planned Parenthood. He represents what a democrat used to mean when I was growing up.
Johnny Dollar,
I know you said it is your day off but I was curious if you could respond to my comment above, wondering if Olby referenced OW when Marvin Kitman told him he was obsessing about O'Reilly?
"I just built a brand new beautiful home set in a wooded location."

Didn't watch it; only caught snatches between O'Reilly commercials and other stuff. I'm going to have to look at some of it anyhow; it sounds like Herr Olbermoronn lifted my O'Reilly audio clip that I posted this afternoon. I have a funny feeling my site did not get credit, as opposed to how he identifies Crooks & Liars when he uses THEIR clips.
Crazy Dan Rather has left the CBS nest

And, Again. What about the Iraq Witdrawal Vote. We know it takes 60 votes, blah.blah. blah.
But if there is such a demand to withdraw and you think you are winning, where is all the clamoring and demand for withdrawal. Even your candidates have Flip-Flopped.
NOT WINNING-----
Follow the time line:
1) 7/10/2007
Hillary Clinton's Plan to End the War in Iraq as President
Today in Iowa, Hillary Clinton announced her plan to end the war in Iraq and urged President Bush to act immediately.
"Our message to the President is clear. It is time to begin ending this war -- not next year, not next month -- but today.
2) September 25, 2007
Report: Bush giving Clinton, candidates advice on Iraq
In an interview for the new book “The Evangelical President,” White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten said Bush has “been urging candidates: ‘Don’t get yourself too locked in where you stand right now. If you end up sitting where I sit, things could change dramatically.’ ”
3) September 26, 2007
Clinton said she couldn't promise to bring all U.S. troops home in her first term if she is elected president.
''I don't know what I'm going to inherit,'' Clinton said on ABC. ''I don't know and neither do any of us know what will be the situation in the region.''
Why........
I think the Republican nominee will be President, whoever that is. Hillary can't beat any of them.
The problem you have with Bush is that you don't like what he is doing. If he had succeeded in Iraq you wouldn't hate him any less than you do now. Bush has fucked up, but only a right winger like myself is fully capable of knowing how big a fuck up he is. You have no clue how bad I think he has done. The Republican nominee has to trash Bush, who deserves it, and tell us what Bush did wrong and what he will do right. That, plus the spector of Hillary in the White House will cause the Republican to win. You'll see.
Voting for LOCAL democrats is such a copout.
It's apples and oranges and you know it.

Rico,
Your 1:18 comment describes Newt Gingrich.
Sharon,
Why do you think Olbermann doesn;t discuss what I posted?
Why........
I think the Republican nominee will be President, whoever that is. Hillary can't beat any of them.
Posted by: Rico at September 28, 2007 1:18 AM
I think Newt will run. He'll mix up the fray.
Sorry Sharon,
But Gingrich will never get within a million miles of the presidency. Remember, he was fired as speaker of the house by his fellow Republicans just four years after he led them to the majority. Too many Republicans hate him, and too many Democrats hate him, too.
Too many Republicans hate him,
Posted by: Rico at September 28, 2007 1:30 AM
TOTALLY DISAGREE.
Juan,
He got fired as speaker by his own crew. It ain't because they love the guy.
You have no idea what it is like to see a sonogram of a life growing within your own body, Why. Planned Parenthood and other groups are against informed consent: requiring sonograms because it is well documented that 3/4 of women who have a sonogram and see the results do not go through with an abortion. Excerpt from Former Abortion Nurse Joan Appleton
"How did I get started in the abortion business? I was very active in the National Organization for Women (NOW). As a registered nurse, I thought that I had a wonderful opportunity as a nurse and as a firm believer in choice to be able to actually practice my political beliefs. I looked at it as a gift, so I went about working hard at the clinic for four years and remained active within NOW.
. . .
Another thing that bothered me as I went about my work at the clinic was the fact that I had seen an ultrasound abortion. We did first trimester abortions. This was a late first trimester, probably second trimester. I handled the ultrasound while the doctor performed the procedure and I directed him while I was watching the screen.
I saw the baby pull away. I saw the baby open his mouth. I had seen Silent Scream a number of times, but it didn't effect me. To me it was just more pro-life propaganda. But I couldn't deny what I saw on the screen. After that procedure I was shaking, literally, but managed to pull it together and continue on with the day."
Don't trivialize what you have no clue about.
Rico,
I don't know what his chances would be, maybe not good, but what you describes above is exactly what Gingrich is doing right now: bashing Bush and giving his own ideas of how to run the government.
Anon at 1:29,
I am not sure what you posted.
Sharon,
How about whoever wins makes Newt the Secretary of Education? That's a good job for him.
Maybe, but he doesn't want that. I think he is waiting to see how Fred Thompson fares, whether he is just a flash in the pan.
Juan,
He got fired as speaker by his own crew. It ain't because they love the guy.
Posted by: Rico at September 28, 2007 1:36 AM
I know. It was because of a loan for his teaching. There have been sooo many scandals since then. His was minor and was not dishonest. Conservatives will vote for Newt. As for Dems hating him, they hate themselves.
I agree with you Juan, that so much has happened since Newt was fired. The conservative base may overlook the past. He is trying to appeal to the religious right by seeking forgiveness for his bad behavior. I think they may accept him over Romney.
Juan,
I don't remember it the way you do. After the 1998 election, when the Republicans lost a couple of seats, they were quick to ditch Gingrich. They had soured on him. If they still had faith that he was the right guy to lead them, they would have kept him as speaker. But they did not.
But you are right about the Democrats!
By happenstance, I read a little about Mitt Romney while waiting for an appointment. His business background is quite impressive. That won't automatically make him an effective leader of the greatest (still) country.
Sharon,
I'll take Romney, Rudy, or Fred. But the one I like best is Duncan Hunter.

They'll accept Newt over all of the candidates. When Newt speaks, conservatives listen. If Hillary with all of her Baggage can be the front runner, surely Newt can.
I think you are ruling him out too early, Rico. I would love to see him debate Giuliani.
If I were a democrat, I would look to Richardson because of his experience and his tougher stance on getting out of Iraq. But he will not be the candidate. Neither will Duncan Hunter, whom I respect for his military background.
Sharon,
I posted this and the Leftists are silent!

Yeah, and Kaine was like the Dems Golden Boy when he was elected.
What can be said? It is back to the usual insults, you know the routine.
Sharon,
You need to remember Newt's scandals. He was banging some bimbo at the same time they were impeaching Clinton. Have you forgotten? His attempts to appeal to the religious right about that are a joke. I don't buy his mea culpa for a minute. He is the one Republican who Hillary can beat.
If he were to be the nominee he would bring the party down more than Bush would. Newt is so not happening!
I don't think his chances are even that good for gaining the nomination, but not entirely foregone either. Right now, I don't see a forceful candidate. It is very early, though.
Rico,
You bring up the religious right. There is somewhat of a schism in ideology there as well, from what I understand. Don't forget the Ted Haggert scandal and the passing of Falwell. These are factors that may affect that voting block.
Time for me to sign off. It will be interesting in the coming year. Olby will be too busy trying to bring down O'Reilly.
So Sharon is against Planned Parenthood, the organization dedicated to educating women on STD's, GYN exams, contraception, etc.
Whew !
The more we know about you, Sharon, the scarier you become.
Posted by: Why don't you think at September 28, 2007 12:39 AM
You are pretty scary to think that Planned Parenthood is the only source for gynocological health issues. I am sure you have heard of NaPro Technology. Thanks for being so interested in women's health, so much so that you ignore the psychological and physical effects of abortion, just like your idol Planned Parenthood, that the well-loved democratic Governor Casey fought.
"I would have voted for Robert Casey, Sr. had I been interested in voting at that time of my life, you know, the democrat who took on Planned Parenthood. He represents what a democrat used to mean when I was growing up."

You are right Sharon. Your brief opinion regarding the democrats is very insightful.
You see, we all know mental midget (why) is a radical, anti-religious, bigoted leftist. Senator Casey is only important to mental midget because his vote gives Senator Reid his position in The Senate. You know Senator Reid, the guy who is fulfilling his promise to withdraw the troops by the end of 2008 with Tinkerbell's pixy dust....
"Senate Democrats will never give in, never give in, never, never, never
"never give in, never, never, never
"never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never."
Democratic Senator Harry Reid, 9/24/07
###
Mental midget is only concerned that his party has domestic political power. Nevermind that the elites like HRC, Reid Pelosi, etc. promise "we'll do everything we can to get the troops home," yet do not.....This lie is not a lie to mental midget because they have a (D) after their name.
Mental midget even claims democrats "want to end the war." Yet, his elites do not state how they will do this if they become President. That little intellectual gaffe is overlooked by the rational and arrogant mental midget and he will respond...."Well its better than what the GOP and Bush are offerring!" Whoa, nice dodge.
Mental midget continues to show himself the pathetic shill for a party held hostage by radicals like himself. Radicals who believe an organization, Planned Parenthood, which was founded by people believing in the evil and unscientific idea of eugenics, is an organization interested in health. No, mental midget, Planned Parenthood is an ultra-radical ideological brand parading as a medical advocasy group....they are based on lies and politics above all....medicine is way down on their list of priorities.
But mental midget swallows lies so he can continue in his created world of left GOOD, right BAD! Senator Casey's anti-abortion stand would be a deal-killer for mm except for the fact that the dems need his vote for Senate power organization and he is from a swing state whose population lies to the center on many issues....including abortion. Mental midget's Planned Parenthood ideology of legalizing infanticide just has not yet caught on despite 100 years of trying!
So a lesson last night....mental midget shows his religious bigotry, disdain for science and inability to think critically.....One of many times here at OW.....I am sure he is ready to change his name again to try to leave his pathetic posts or[haned.....
What's your name going to be this time, mental midget/Professor Honeydew?.......
Oh and to the confident moralist Mike, do you agree with mental midget regarding Planned Parenthood? You seem oh so eager to support any dem, but OW haa not heard your opinion about abortion on demand for gestational aged protoplasm 0-10 months...if I recall correctly. How do you feel about such important social issues Mike?
Oh, and any other leftists can feel free to comment about the issue as well.
G' day.
mental midget.....should have been:
mental midget shows his religious bigotry, disdain for science and inability to think critically.....One of many times here at OW.....I am sure he is ready to change his name again to try to leave his pathetic posts orphaned.....
So Keith is mad that President Bush wanted to give an interview to Juan Williams. This is very interesting considering Keith recently called Republicans racists for not making themselves available to African Americans.
Thank you God for all my wealth. Too bad I still have to punch in/out. Please continue talking to me as I run the mill. One more thing,
what are you going to do about that pussy Jesus?
Pussy assed anonymous:
"Terribly amusing to see Republicans/conservatives disparage gays, when they are lead by such oustanding people as Senator "Wide Stance" Craig and Representative "Why Don't You Strip Down to Your Boxers" Foley. Amusing too the great moral leaders like Newt "How Dare You Interrupt My Banging this Intern Because You're Banging an Intern" Gingrich, Rudy "Can I Live With Wife #1, While I'm Divorcing Wife #2 to Marry Wife #3 Giuliani", and David "I Was Too Busy With Washington Whores to Visit New Orleans Whores" Vitter. Even more amusing to find them such militarists under the leadership of George "Jet Wave" Bush, Big Dick "I Had Other Priorities" Cheney, Trent "Rah! Rah! Ole Miss" Lott, etc. etc., through the long, long list of Chicken Hawks who bought us to this debacle."

Let's see, your memory is very poor. There was the night Ted Kennedy drove a car off in a canal and left the lady inside to drown while he ran like spolied brat or his nephew that ran a golf club shaft through a girls head, or Grand Knight of the KKK, US Sent. RObert Byrd who has hung and beat his share of blacks, the lying, draft dondging, piece of shit, adulter, pot headed, yellow bellied coward Bill Clinton who went to Russia to protest the US in Nam, Kerry who shot a wounded boy in the back and got 3 PH's for superficial wounds, one self inflicted and Murtha who got 2 PH's who himself said he didn't deserve, guess you've never heard of Jim Wright, Dan Rostenkowski, Trafficant, DeConcini, how about Barney the fag Franks who met his queer luver in personal ads who set up a gay bordello in his goeverment paid apartment to the dick sucker, child abuser Danile Stubs, to the ball headed fudge stick Ray Nagin who allowed 1200 people die, to the crack whore Barry, to the crackk whore Julian Bond...................just to name a fucking few you stupid SOB.
Cee,
Robert Casey, Jr. has not taken the same strong stance as his father, who took on Planned Parenthood.
After I posted Sharon, I noticed you were referring to the father. You're right that democrats are totally different now although I went off on the current Pa. Senator who has claimed to be pro-life but has been inconsistent in his voting since coming to The US Senate....trying to change his vote on "The Mexico City Policy."

###
The screws seem to have been applied to the once vocal pro-life Senator whoo seems not to have as much backbone as his father.
Again, another example of leadership in today's democratic party.
Thanks for the clarification, Sharon.
You are right on about the lack of backbone. I don't know if you followed one of my comments to SLOB about Kucinich. I didn't realize until recently that he voted pro-life more than many republicans until the Nation (don't recall the writer) called him on the carpet and stated that he could not serve as a leader for the progressives with his view on abortion, which was just as Casey, Sr.'s. The article came out in May of 2002 (?) and his next vote reflected the change of heart.
Olbermann upset Fox is exposing Iran!
What's the Left's excuse for him defending the Iranian regime?
Huh?
Rush Limbaugh On Saving Troops' Lives: "Whatever"
September 27, 2007 -- 4:26 PM EST // //
Newsflash: Rush Limbaugh just described soldiers who are in favor of U.S. withdrawal from Iraq as "phony soldiers."
This will naturally explode into a huge controversy. Pundits like Richard Cohen will scowl darkly and demand that Republicans condemn Rush over it, just as they demanded that Dems condemn MoveOn for criticizing Mighty Scholar-Warrior Petraeus.
In a conversation on Rush Limbaugh's radio program, a listener named Mike said that antiwar people never talk to "real soldiers," adding that they take their cues from soldiers who are against the war and "talk to the media."
To which Limbaugh rejoined: "The phony soldiers."
Listen here. As Media Matters points out, two soldiers who wrote that infamous New York Times Op ed criticizing our war policies are now dead in Iraq. Last January a Military Times poll found that 37% of members of the military think we shouldn't have gone to Iraq, while one in five thinks we should have zero troops in Iraq or less troops than there are now. All these people, apparently, are "phony soldiers," according to Rush.
That's bad enough. But I'd also like to highlight another Rush quote from the same radio episode that I think is equally telling and reprehensible:
"What is the imperative in pulling out? What's in it for the United States to pull out? I don't think they have an answer for that, other than, `It's gonna bring our troops home. Save the troops. Keep the troops safe. Or whatever. It's not possible intellectually to follow these people."
Whatever?
Note Limbaugh's self-professed inability to even follow the argument that saving troops' lives should be something we consider as a positive when deciding how to proceed in Iraq. This has accents of GOP House leader John Boehner's recent assertion that troop deaths in Iraq would be a "small price" to pay for defeating Al Qaeda. The point here is that for Limbaugh, Boehner and other war supporters, the lives of the troops simply aren't part of the equation in any meaningful sense, and once in a while, this dirty secret slips out.
This is perhaps inevitable, the natural extension of the view that no amount of American lives is too small to sacrifice in exchange for realizing George Bush's vision in Iraq. Whatever.
I'm up to fucking you up and any fucking jihadi Iranian piece of shit garbage that crosses my path. Fucking fuckers. Fuck.
Don't you fuckers get it? We are at WAR, and the olpy piece of shit just sits there and compliments the murders and thugs and fascists who kill out soldiers. Irans not so bad? Then why don't you move there you dumb leftist fucks? Oh yeah, because THEY WILL HANG YOUR GAY ASSES!!!
Fuck.
"Don't you fuckers get it? We are at war,"
OhMahGawd!....Why didn't you SAY so before?!?!
And I thought we were just sposed to be out shopping!
Now there's some substance. Anon, of course they don't get. Hence, the childish remark from hypocrite mike.
what are you going to do about that pussy Jesus?
Posted by: Red Cunt Proud at September 28, 2007 9:14 AM
Isn't patsy a classy fellow? His mother must be very proud of all of his personalities....
> To which Limbaugh rejoined: "The phony soldiers."
Oh gee, is this another Media Matters quote? I don't listen to Limbaugh but I am told that MM deliberately didn't include what came after their quote, where Rush specifically named people who CLAIMED to be soldiers but weren't, including JESSE MACBETH. He is a self-style antiwar "soldier" and it turned out he was nothing of the sort. He was a "phony soldier".
Now why would Media Matters snip out that part of the quote? Could it be because they are dishonest? The reason I raise this is because, if this is true, it's another example of lies and dishonesty from Herr Olbermoronn's primary source: Media Matters.
UPDATE: What do you know? What I was told was correct. Rush specifically named Jesse Macbeth as an example of the "phony soldiers", and Media Matters cut that out.
http://tinyurl.com/26uqyw
Once again: this is Olbermahn's primary source.
"Don't you fuckers get it? We are at war."
When we first went to war, President Bush told us that we should go shopping. Well, I naturally, I wanted to be a good patriotic American and do all I could to support the troops, so I shopped, and I shopped, and I shopped...til I plum almost dropped from exhaustion.
Now my trust fund is almost used up for the year again, .... and my villa is just SO full of stuff from doing just like Bush said to help the war effort that I can hardly move!
Wednesday, the House condemned MoveOn.org's childish "General Betray Us" ad directed against Gen. David Petraeus ahead of his Sept. 11 congressional testimony on the progress in the war on Iraq.
"Since Tuesday, everyone's been getting phone calls asking for names of the last soldiers killed," said one congressional aide. "It seems to be a coordinated effort."
After a flustered Blackburn said she didn't know, Shuster pounced, dishing out the name of an 18-year-old soldier supposedly killed in her district and pompously lecturing her: "(I)t's a little surprising that you did not know the name of the last soldier killed in Iraq, who is only 18 years old, and yet you know so much about the MoveOn.org ad and the tactics you don't like," Shuster said.
Aside from the fact that Shuster named a soldier who didn't live in Blackburn's district, there's an even bigger problem with this media "gotcha" stunt that extends the ambush well past Blackburn:
Congressional sources showed us a military communication that indicated the soldier's family had explicitly declined to release their son's name to public officials under the Federal Privacy Act. It was a move they were entitled to do, and may well have been intended to prevent use of his name, presumably by ambitious politicians.
Blackburn's statement Thursday seemed to understand this:
"Being asked to report to the viewership of Tucker Carlson's program the name of the latest lost soldier, marine or airman is flat wrong. The privacy of these families must be protected in accordance with their wishes and I have no greater responsibility as an elected official than to be an advocate for our military personnel and their families."
It turns out the soldier's family had nothing to worry about from politicos. Their son's name was used by the media instead.
Shuster's use of the deceased 18-year-old's name (and we aren't going to print it) piles insult onto injury on a gold-star family now in mourning. And the purpose of this stunt? To humiliate a congresswoman who said she was in regular e-mail contact with her military constituents by making her appear callous to deaths.
It also just happens to justify MoveOn.org's current effort to deflect the topic from its sorry ad to the deaths of U.S. troops.
MoveOn.org, for its part, tells IBD it had nothing to do with Shuster's stunt. "It's not true. We didn't give anyone's name or talk to anyone at MSNBC who did," said a MoveOn.org spokesman.
They could be telling the truth. But someone is organizing this, because congressional staffers say they've been getting calls about troops' deaths ever since both houses of Congress condemned MoveOn.org's ad this week.
A look at MoveOn.org's site shows an organization desperately seeking to deflect negative publicity from its name-calling ad against Petraeus. "To take the focus off maiming and death and the breaking of our military, they talk about etiquette," wrote George Lakoff on Huffington Post, which was linked on MoveOn.org's unapologetic apologia for its Petraeus ad.
Shuster for his part has hosted MoveOn.org director Eli Pariser on his show to considerably kinder questioning, and has mouthed other talking points. So it's little wonder that some in Congress think MoveOn.org is behind the effort. It is trying to change the subject from its smear ad against America's top field commander to the "real" issue of war deaths they want to gloat about.
Regardless of who was behind Shuster's media stunt, it's an example of the anti-war left's continued insincerity about supporting the troops when it really wants to use them to advance its own agenda.
Anyone who would use a dead soldier's name his family didn't want to be used deserves just as strong a condemnation as MoveOn.org got when its pulled its ad stunt. Congress ought to send another message about this as soon as it finds out who's doing it.
Slippery Shuster is a mouth piece for MorON.org. He uses the names of troops a a political stunt. He is a disgrace.
Well Johnny, I've been wondering for months why you didn't feel equally compelled to make a similar "if this is true" type correction to the record after you mercilessly hammered Olbermann for days for not joining the right wing's media crucifiction of Nancy Pelosi regarding the so called "planegate scandal"?
Then, after the truth came out that it was really the REPUBLICAN appointed sergeant at arms who requested that plane for honest to God security reasons, Olbermann was one of the first to report the truth. You then hammered him one final time for doing that.
Once everyone realized the truth, I heard only silence from all of those Right Wing Media flame throwers who just wouldn't shut up about it the day before.
It was really revealing to me how a few of my right wing friends and relatives reacted when I told them the truth. Some of them actually reacted angrily, as if they were really pissed that they had just been robbed of a reason to throw darts at our new Speaker Of The House. They were actually dissapointed that it turned out to be untrue!
Maybe I'm wrong....maybe YOU subsequently issued a correction somewhere on this blog and maybe you didn't, but if you did, I sure didn't see it.
Thank you Mike, OLBERMANN WATCH's "hall monitor!"
On OlbyPlanet the news wasn't news when it implicated Pelosi. The minute a Republican might have been involved, "Olbermann was one of the first" to jump on it.
Thanks Mike for proving my point: Dan Olbermann is a slovenly political hack.
Hmm.. this segment is about phony wan olby's biased approach to the news and his creepy stalker obsession with orielly. GW kills a negative story about hillary when threatened to lose access.. olberman claims he doesnt use gotcha moments when interviewing dems..(boy what a lame debate facilitator he was) yet revels in gotcha moments if it involves conservatives.. you leftist clowns claim this is the next murrow? cause murrow would CERTAINLY be obsessing like an ex-girlfriend over orielly..and certainly murrow would be handing money over to politicians on air like olby did to clinton a while back..
liberals are simply not ready for the adult world.
Thanks Johnny Dollar for point out that lie about Limbaugh on MediaMatters. I was listening to Limbaugh at the time he made that statment and he clearly mentioned Jesse MacBeth who was presented by the left as an "army ranger" who was against the war. He turned out to be a boot camp wash out.
Well now you know where people like "Norbert" get their talking points. They take doctored quotes, about something they never even heard, from partisan hacks and post them as if they were the truth. In other words, they're a bunch of Olbermann Mini-Me's!
Nice try "norbert." How's that rotten egg taste? You probably have an aquired taste, by now.
"dan Olbermann"...."is a slovenly political hack."?
Maybe, but YOU haven't really convinced me that Keith is.
Mike, Listen you liberal androgynous fuck stick. I don't care if you are a vietnam (whatever that is), your fucking liberal diatribes are not wanted here. We come to this site to hear the truth about the baseball card collecting Jew-hater, Keith Oralmann. You and your vertebrate-challenged left wing girl friends need to shut the fuck up and MOVEON to another site where you will be welcomed by pussy defeatocrats like yourselves. Good night and good luck.
"norbert" is the type to run with the "O'Reilly is a racist" crap from the other day. I challenged any spolbyloon to post the original quote from O'Reilly and not a single one would do it. mike screamed "I've read it, bla, bla, bla" but, no quotes. I wonder why?
And how does Bush compare with the Republicans seeking to succeed him? "If a Rudy Giuliani were to be elected," John Dean said, "he would go even farther than Cheney and Bush in their worst moments."
This is what the country is afraid of, not to mention that the republicans just plain don't deserve the presidency after what has occurred under this administration.

A liberal moron actually quotes convicted felon John Dean on why Hillary will get elected. Thanks, we already new convicted felons like Hillary. The donate to her all the time. I am sure they will vote for her too, oh wait, they can't vote.
Johnny:
"On Olbyplanet, the news wasn't news when it implicated Pelosi. The minute a Republican might have been involved, "Olbermann was one of the first to jump on it.
Thanks Mike for proving my point: Dan Olbermann is a slovenly political hack."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Does everyone see what your site's 'leader' has just done here?
He actually criticized Keith Olbermann for ignoring a story that obviously had not been properly sourced.
THEN, he turned around and criticized Keith Olbermann for reporting the TRUTH about that very same story once it WAS finally properly verified with a press release by the sergeant at arms.
In other words, Olbermann was right BOTH times!
THEN, Johnny spins the whole thing around to claim that what turned out to be truthful journalism on Keith's part somehow 'proves his point' about KO being a "slovenly political hack".
Johnny, KO just MAY be a "slovenly political hack", but he has absolutely nothing on you in that regard!
I wonder just how much DNA Clinton depositied in/on Olbermann?
After the interview Douchebags lips looked awfully chapped
Jeff: "mike screamed, I've read it, blah, blah, blah"
So "I've read it"....but I never posted any judgements about it whatsoever.

You just said about me: "You claimed it was "a big deal."...when your own repost of my quote proves you to be a liar (again):
So exactly WHERE in that post did I claim it was a "big deal"?
You're completely out of your league, and the funny part is that you don't even know it!

REALLY S T R E T C H I N G now, aren't we Jeff?
And, no I don't 'hate' O'Reilly. I just hate much of the hatred he stands for. There IS a difference.
And once again, I post NO personal judgements whatsoever about the latest O'Reilly controversy except to say that the usual suspects are in their respective corners, which is simple truth. I have posted NO condemnation whatsoever of either O'Reilly or Limbaugh regarding the latest bit of controvery surrounding both.
Had a little trouble finding where "claimed it's a "big deal" above? So you thought you'd just ignor it again like you always do every time you are caught in a lie?
Heck, by tomorrow, you will have forgotten all about that latest little lie you just posted.
You guys are priceless. I went ahead and listened to the whole segment BEFORE posting and you are just talking out of your asses. You just can't let anything sit. Your fat little drug-abusing god has to be defended at all costs with whatever you can think up.
I encourage anyone who is interested to go ahead and listen to the segment and make up their own mind. Oxycontin-head is quite obviously equating any soldier who believes we should pull out with being "phony." He then gives an example of the "real" phoney soldier...the very obious tone of the whole thing is that if any soldier thinks we should pull out and talks to the media about it, they are not a "real" soldier.
He's playing with the technical meaning of phoney and his expanded meaning. As always, he's giving himself room to retreat without retracting, like the weak-willed, drug-abusing coward that he is.
> the weak-willed, drug-abusing coward that he is.
Why are you bringing up Rep Patrick Kennedy? What does he have to do with this?

If it is "quite obviously" equating any soldier, then why didn't Media Matters show the entire statement Rush made instead of chopping out the part where he describes what he means by phony soldier and gives and example?
> And you just defended Limpo how?
Huh? I wasn't defending anyone. I'm pointing out the hypocrisy and dishonesty of Media Matters. Can you explain why they chopped out the last part of what he said? If they claim to post "full" quotes and "full" clips (already proven to be a lie), why did they leave out that last part? Hmmm?

A media matters tactic!
John Edwards "Imus Moment"
“We cannot build enough prisons to solve this problem. And the idea that we can keep incarcerating and keep incarcerating — pretty soon we’re not going to have a young African-American male population in America. They’re all going to be in prison or dead. One of the two.” John Edwards
Hyperbole much? Despite popular misperception and those who find it a convenient talking point to illustrate inescapable racism, there are more young African-American men in college than in prison. In 2005, according to the Census Bureau, there were 864,000 black men in college. According to Justice Department statistics, there were 802,000 in federal and state prisons and jails; between the ages of 18 and 24, however, black men in college outnumber those incarcerated by 4 to 1.
I think John Edwards needs to exit the America he lives in and visit the one that people with a brain live in.
What are you praying to, wannawipe?.....Fairy tale gods of the left need virgin sacrifices for them to act and I am sure you don't know any.
Mike, mental midget and wannawipe's ruling elite have written a letter about the Limbaugh comment! They flip-flopped on what the troops are doing in Iraq!.....
"Although Americans of goodwill debate the merits of this war, we can all agree that those who serve with such great courage deserve our deepest respect and gratitude. That is why Rush Limbaugh’s recent characterization of troops who oppose the war as 'phony soldiers' is such an outrage.
"Our troops are fighting and dying to bring to others the freedoms that many take for granted. It is unconscionable that Mr. Limbaugh would criticize them for exercising the fundamentally American right to free speech. Mr. Limbaugh has made outrageous remarks before, but this affront to our soldiers is beyond the pale."

"Our troops are fighting and dying to bring to others the freedoms that many take for granted." What? Mike, mental midget wannawipe and blindrat tell us the troops are dying needlessly in a civil war!.....NOTHING about fighting for "freedoms." In fact, Mike just made fun of me yesterday for being such a NEOCON for believing the troops are fighting for such ideals as freedom!
My, oh, my.....the democratic party is leaving the kooky left fringe reservation.....
Praying
Chanting.....and now........
Respecting our troops by observing their mission is actually a fight for freedom!
What is a radical, anti-American secular leftist to do?
Oh and another gem from the left's ruling class today.....from the trip and fall lawyer....all African-American men are either going to be dead or in jail? (Factor made mention of it just a short while ago).....and I am sure Olbermann will not cover it.....
"Quick. Pop quiz. And no cheating. No Googling. No calling the NAACP.
"Are there more black men in college or in jail?
"Janks Morton, a new movie director, is willing to bet you got the wrong answer. You who have been fed negative images of black men for so many years.
"Although he thinks the very nature of the question is an "abomination," he wonders: Would that same question be asked so often of any other race in America? The very premise of the question, he says, leads to faulty science. But the question is insidious, like the images that have seeped into the public psyche so deep that many black people themselves don't get the answer right."
