It is with some basis with recent polls showing dissatisfaction among evangelical christians with the current 1st tier republican candidates, but the money issue he/she raises are actually not based on fact. The "coffers" are not empty nor is there any threat they they will be empty even as the primary season rolls along.

Her fundraising is more and more suspect and I think will play a major role in the election as she gives back some to try to wash the taint away. Old Metairie (Metry) was flooded via the back door from the break in the Seventh Street Canal. The rest of the flooding (and it was most of it) is laid directly on his shoulders b/c he ordered the pumps evacuated.

There were bitter feelings in this election. My brother, a longtime supporter of Broussard was almost unhinged over it b/c Broussard did yeoman's work in getting the parish up and running and the only reason he could perform was b/c he was RESPONSIBLE for the damage.
