Keith Olbermann and the Peter Pan Complex

    Baseball cards and Harry Potter
    Keith plays on the teeter-totter
    A middle-aged man
    In fantasy land
    Sophomoric cannon fodder

    Michael Jackson and Krazy Keith
On adulthood they've placed a wreath
    Which one's Peter Pan?
    Please point out that "man"
With the age of twelve or beneath

    O'leilly tries a limerick,
But the man can't write for shit,
    He lies about Bill
    He's a George Soros shill,
He's lacking two balls and a dick

    Olbywatch gives a daily bitchslap
    To Countdown's journalistic mishap
    Like fish in a barrel
    Keith's kareer in peril
Much thanks for the nightly recap

John Gibson critized Neel Gabler who is on his own network. I guess that means that Gibson is more of a man than Olbermann, since Olbermann has never citized anyone on his own network but claims that shows manhood.

Excellent, Factor. The clear-headed post of the day!

Bill O' has criticised Gabler, as well. After Gabler criticised Bill, of course. Not too hard to criticise Gabler, though.

    The sad MediaMatters shills
    Ignored lib Gabler's ills
    Just like K.O.
    They only crow
Over "hate" from Rush or Bill O.

"It's nice to be in space," he radioed minutes after reaching orbit.

Posted by: Space shuttle Discovery blasts off at October 23, 2007 4:22 PM

    . . . Or in Olbermann's case, "It's nice to be a space cadet"

space cadet n. Slang. One who shows difficulty in grasping reality or responding appropriately to it.

Olbermann is still suffering under the delusion that Kerry won the 2004 election because the vote in Ohio was "stolen" long after the other bastions of liberalism (NYT) knew that the story wasn't true.

Hate to disagree, but KO did attack Rita Cosby and Imus after they were run off the air. I guess that is what he considers manhood

Bravo, Katy Turic. Thanks for the amusing limericks.

Gibby was mistaken: Olby is in his late 40s, not his mid 40s. He's right that Olby's Harry Potter fixation is very strange and creepy.

Of course Olby now has blamed the brush fires on George Bush.

And Valerie Plame gives the same canned answers at each interview while shilling her new book. Olby with the blue dress, blue dress, blue dress...

Yup, how about those peace-loving, war-hating, ever-so-kind and tolerant libnuts? Too bad they are liars and hypocrites.

I posted this on Johnny Dollar all ready. I though I would re-post it here.

I agree with everything John Gibson said expect that I don't think that Olbermann is a loser for reading Harry Potter at his age. I'm 32 and still play video games and watch Star Trek all the time. Olbermann is a loser for what he says on his show on a daily bases. Like calling Chris Wallace a monkey. For only haveing Dem and far left guys on his show and never having anyone else on his show with a different point of view. Whats the point of having show like Olbermanns if you sound like your talking to your self.

He's also a loser when everything that happen bad in this world is Bushes fault.

Olby was just trolling the Potter event for a replacement for his now aging 23-year old girlfriend. He's probably looking for some fresher and younger meat. Not that he'd be able to perform for her but maybe he thinks that the yonger they are, the less likelier they are to realize how lame in bed he truly is. Hope Katy maxes out his platinum cards while she can-she's obviously on her way out.

Keith’s an Edward R Murrow wannabee
    With a girlfriend who’s just twenty-three
He puts himself in the news
    while his viewers do snooze
    There’s no hope for MSNBC

    Keith made a great point:
"No one from the administation ever apologized for ruining her career."

This administration hasn't a shed of integrity....and neither does anyone who puts Valerie Plame down.

Posted by: Why don't you think at October 23, 2007 10:31 PM

Tell her accountant that, "why." Pencil pusher to left wing hero. Not bad, I would say.

    Keith made a great point:
"No one from the administation ever apologized for ruining her career."

Could that be that the state Dept "outed" this clerk....and not the WH?

Look, the Olbyloons are blaming Bush for the fires in California. They're blaming him for Global warming. And they want him to apologize for everything.

Keith did deliver a verbal tounge-lashing to Imus ... after he was fired. It was only then that Olby informed the world what a horrid, horrid man his former MSNBC colleague was.

(Also, don't you think it's a bit of a coincidence that J.K. Rowling sees Keith Olbermann standing and talking on the Carnagie Hall stage and then gets the idea to out one of her main characters as gay? I think it's a clear case of projection at work here...)

Posted by: Why don't you think at October 23, 2007 10:31 PM

Watching that loser on Dopey's show and reading this spit from he who cannot think tells me that Plame's career and wdyt's brain have something in common.

    They are both toast.

"Bush Wants New "Surge" -- In The War On Drugs."

    That's it BUSH MAN!

    Now you've done it!

    You're going after Toasty's drugs!

    Hands off DUDE!

Imagine how nice it would be to see Bill Oreilly and Sean Hannity tortured to death,, ah the thought warms my soul.

Posted by: Bill O'lielly at October 23, 2007 9:46 PM

I thought you did not believe in God? How can you have a soul?

    Toasty Sez:

Hands off my drugs George Bush!

A day in the life of Toasty?

    You decide.

You lost your mind a long time ago. We only allow you here for our amusement.

Just don't mention the dingbat Springsteen. You have milked him dry enough.

    Never heard of Richard Thompson.

Your favorite song, though, must be Imagine.

"Nothing to kill or die for.............."

Thompson is really unknown if I don't know who he is.

Wonder if the factor read the AP story today how co2 levels are up 35% since 1990 and rising faster than scientists originally thought?

    Factor read ?
I must have lost my head.

    Posted by: Why don't I think at October 24, 2007 12:04 AM

What does that matter? Prove CO2 levels have anything to do with global warming. CO2 levels go up after global temperature rises.
Now you are singing? Wow, you need help.

But he hasn't sold many records. I am not dissing the guy, maybe I would like his music a lot. But I bet not one in 500 people in this country have ever heard of him. If you want to be his agent, that works for me. He obviously needs a better one than he has had for all of this time.

IPCC scientists ( which represent over 200 countries) said it was 95% likely that co2 is the cause of global warming. The Factorless is in the 5% of deniers.
The Factor strikes again...with his idiocy.
Why do I stink at October 24, 2007 12:59 AM

Another lie by this fool. There are no IPCC scientists. The IPCC is a group of politicians and green peace activist.

Then you must hate Hendrix and Clapton. They got too much fame.

But can you make music? I can, and do.
    So there!

He just lives at the extreme hard core right wing web know...the ones who say the neocons had the right idea when they pushed to invade Iraq.

Posted by: Why don't you think at October 24, 2007 1:11 AM

John Stossel and 20/20 are a right wing web-site? I thought is was a news magazine show on liberal ABC.

Did Olbermann blame Bush for the fires?

Shockwave, he sure did. Right on schedule.

You guys seem to have a high tolerance for trolls.
We're not so patient over at The Daily Gut.

Ah- Keith is Back behind Oreily in ALL catagories now that the reruns have stopped. What a tool! You Keith lovers are back to your monority status. Enjoy being also-rans!

Why don't you think spewed: "...the AP story today how co2 levels are up 35% since 1990..."

Yeah, the same buffoons said we were entering an "ice age" back in the 70's. As always, human beings tend to overestimate their impact on the earth.

Mr sarcasm- I was just mocking the fact that KeithO bragged to his uninformed minions about the silly ratings victory. Only the informed viewer would know the victory was hollow.

-He actually lost in his natural demo (no DVR).
    -He lost in overall ratings.
-He really beat an Oreily rerun.

All facts that are lost on the lemmings that follow the idiot!

I mock him and his fans!

And as I mentioned days ago!
Stark apologized yesterday for his remarks.
He admitted they were over the top and insulting.

Which only is a cherry on the ! Olberloon called these assinine comments 'refreshing' and applauded them. Just another example of how out of touch KeithO is.

"O'Reilly was on last night. What was the news? Has another white girl gone missing? Has another MSM outlet been taken over by Far Left Sympathizers of the Radical Islamo Fascist movement? Has Geraldo discovered a means for turning styrofoam packing peanuts into platinum nuggets?"

Hell if I know what O'Reilly did or said. What makes you think that reasonable people who are repulsed by Olbermann necessarily keep up with O'Reilly? But if you want to watch a liar in action, Keith is your boy. Medved "defends slavery" anyone? O'Reilly "supports Nazis"? Or maybe you like to watch Olbermann discuss such groundbreaking and compelling matters such as whether the rumors are true that Richard Gere stuffs gerbils up his . . well, Ill let your imagination complete this thought, but I think you know where this is going. I don't care that much for O'Reilly and don't pretend that he is the Cronkite or Murrow of our generation, but for God sakes, if you cannot at least bring yourself to acknowledge the sickness, dishonesty and disgrace that Olbermann brings to the trade of journalism, you are simply ignorant or in denial.

By the way, the stricken diner ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan and finished his dinner.

Posted by: Anonymous at October 24, 2007 10:34 AM

    Thanks, philby!

Posted by: Anonymous at October 24, 2007 11:45 AM

but here YOU are, Anon. Why?

Anon claims that he does not like Olbermann or O'Reilly but he some how finds his way to an Anti-Olbermann site and starts attacking the posters who are critical of Olbermann. Exactly how does that make sense?

    A great read on Newsbuster.

"Keith, Still Think Falwell Wrong on Tinky? Ask Musto"

I was going to link to the transcript but the latest one up is Oct 18 although they claim all transcripts will be available within 24 hours. Maybe I did something wrong.

"Seems like folly to me and to most, but please, continue fighting this fight if it gives you satisfaction."

Posted by: Anonymous at October 24, 2007 11:45 AM

Having realized the futility in arguing for the credibility of Olbermann, Anonymous resorts to the time tested pretextual cop out that characterizes those on the losing side of a debate: it doesn't really matter, so it's better not to talk about it.

First. let's consider the notion of the sincerity of Anonymous. Mr/Ms. Anonymous, a self -proclaimed person who doesn't "give a damn" about Olbermann, is here at this website whose whole purpose is the expression of highly partisan opinion about Olbermann either pro or con. Think about that. Think about someone you don't "give a damn" about, say someone like Britney Spears. Do you go to a website dedicated to supporting or denouncing her and read and post comments on that site when don't give two figs about her? I think the question answers itself and shows Anonymous for the insincere person he/she is.

As to the question of whether we should give a damn about Olbermann and whether there is a useful purpose served in exposing Olbermann for his incompetence, manipulation and dishonesty, a liar is a liar and should be called out. Hardly a week goes by that we do not see a fluff piece on Olbermann extolling this rotten man. He is given a desk on the halftime show on NFL Sunday Night Football to foist his pointless
views on a subject he knows almost nothing about with co-hosts who, recognizing his ignorance of the subject and his obnoxiousness generally, barely tolerate him. The point being, NBC has senselessly decided to promote Olbermann as a big star and a truth teller when he is, in truth, a puppet for the fringe left wing blue blogs whose cowardice is evidenced on a nightly basis by an unwillingness to allow dissenting opinion on his third rate show. So, yes, this lie should be confronted and exposed.

Besides, Olbermann is such a buffoon who can resist making fun of him?

    Merkel writes:

"Yeah, the same buffoons said we were entering an "ice age" back in the 70's. As always, human beings tend to overestimate their impact on the earth."

Merkel, Why Don't You Think is your typical liberal puke jumping on some band wagon or flavor of the day that just so happens to be contrary to conservatives or GW.

It's shitters and bucket mouths like this boy that I wouldn't mind it if gas went to $10/gallon to pay for global warming just to watch this stupid fuck eat his own beliefs.

Global warming has been going on for 10k years you stupid liberal fucks like Why Don't You Think.

I have been laughing throughout the morning.

Posted by: Anonymous at October 24, 2007 2:00 PM

Shouldn't you be packing your bags for your next world travel? Maybe, hunting cougars w/your bare hands?

RK, make that a double Absolut on the rocks and I will absolutly be there. Can I bring some olives and toothpicks?

Hey anonymous, it's good to hide behind this site isn't it boy? You know, with no fear of actually being confronted.

Just like you know so much about Johnny, Sharon and Janet, well I know you too. You were the pompous ass that always had something to say when my back was turned, as the fear of an actual confrontation had you wetting your pants.

So, when that day actually came where I caught you in one of your lies, and called you outside to further "discuss" the issue, your ripe response of "I don't believe in violence" still has me laughing to this day.

Make sure your pinky is sticking out while you're having your tea and crumpets, Wadsworth.

FLUCKER, stuff a sock in it.

"What keen observers are Factor, Hank and PS! And the breadth of their knowledge is staggering. . . But, don't let me interfere."

Don't worry Anon, you aren't interfering at all. Someone who actually had valid substantive arguments in response to my points above might be offering interference, but you are harmless, reduced to a little ankle biting name calller (lacks "perspective and intelligence, class and style, wit and wisdom"; "utter fools").

    Keith Olbermutt-

why havent you blamed Bush yet for the wild fires in CA? Come on you Iranian loving, anti-American 4 eye freak, you know you want to somehow pin the blame on the president for this one.

While I don't object to two women embracing, and, in fact, if they are young, attractive and firm, find it tittilating, I think the two of you, Grammie and Sharon, really need to check into the Ramada Inn. I am having a gag reflex.

Posted by: Anonymous at October 24, 2007 11:49 AM

"I find value is respecting others and trying to show that respect in tangible ways."

Posted by: Anonymous at October 24, 2007 3:08 PM

is that your way of showing respect??
your parents must be proud...they failed!

Teheran Keith already blamed Bush for the fires.
In fact the Left is blaming him.
Keith though is a supportere of the Iranian regime.
I'm suprised he hasn't been arrested!

Where are the freaks complaining about G Bush related to the fires?

Imagine that, a million people told to evacuate in California and they actually do. I guess personal responsibilty is commendable when expected. And you only blame Bush when the minions don't exacuate and expect the government to bus them out.

Can't wait for Kanye's impending quip, "George Bush hates million dollar home rap star owners" Poor Kanye, Bush is obviously gunning for the democrats. First he goes after the poor of Lousiana. Then he aims for the millionaire entertainers of California that shill for the democrats. Next up are the chowder heads of Bahston!

What power this president you label as a bufoon has!

Ahhh- thank you Harry Reid, the lovable moronic quote machine.

"One reason why we have the fires in California is global warming," the Nevada Democrat told reporters, emphasizing the need to pass the Democrats' comprehensive energy package."

Not blaming Bush- but chiming the lefty chorus!

Mmmm, is there a cause/effect relation between atmospheric CO2 levels and arson activity?....Because I just read that investigators believe the biggest fire in So. California was a act of arson.....

Wow.....Rising CO2 levels cause global climate change and causes acts of arson! What will they discover next?

Cee, you bad. You so bad!

    That's why I love ya! :)

The moonbats are starting an anti-Hillary campaign. Olby will be devastated.

To "Why Don't You Think" who was proud to post a link to the IPCC report, claiming it was the work of scientists.

That link includes this interesting line:

" final joint approval by scientists and diplomats"

So it is a "joint" report by scientists and diplomats??

So the scientists could only write what the diplomats approved? Sounds like a worthless report to me then.

Show Me, you got that right. It is actually worse than worthless b/c it is being used as something that it is NOT and never will be.

I could find the citation if I had to but I hope no one asks for it.

A fair number of scientists whose names were appended to the IPCC report have gone public with their denunciation that their names were used with neither permission nor agreement.

    Don't you just love it?

Don't be so silly. The polar ice caps have not melted 30%. Where do you get this nonsense? Your sanity is melting at an alarming rate, though.

Just stop. Why don't you tell me how much the oceans have risen in the last 20 years? The last time I checked it was ZERO.

Does that mean that a century or more ago there wasn't enough ice, then global cooling happened and grew it back? Dang. I guess it's called cycles.

I'll see your old york times hit piece and raise ya a wnd fact piece.

I don't know if you ever go to mypetjawa (The Jawa Report but the story of the fake Beauchamp's diaries is covered there with lots of links.

[Drudge Posts TNR "Shock Troops" Investigative Documents - Updated]

The last time my boss at TNR talked to me I did not deny that I denied what I had made up earlier. In other words, TNR won't deny me yet.

"That's right..."Cycles"that's what the wingnuts use as an excuse to contradict the best scientists in the world. . .The world is moving forward in coming up with SOLUTIONS to the climate crisis, while the wingnuts are still denying it."

Whoops, looks like WDYT missed this:

Survey: Less Than Half of All Published Scientests Endorse Global Warming Theory
Comprehensive survey of published climate research reveals changing viewpoints.

In 2004, Naomi Oreskes performed a survey of research papers on climate change. Examining peer-reviewed papers published on the ISI Web of Science database from 1993 to 2003, she found a majority supported the "consensus view," defined as humans were having at least some effect on global climate change. Oreskes' work has been repeatedly cited, but as some of its data is now nearly 15 years old, its conclusions are becoming somewhat dated.

Medical researcher Dr. Klaus-Martin Schulte recently updated this research. Using the same database and search terms as Oreskes, he examined all papers published from 2004 to February 2007. The results have been submitted to the journal Energy and Environment, of which DailyTech has obtained a pre-publication copy. The figures are surprising.

Of 528 total papers on climate change, only 38 (7%) gave an explicit endorsement of the consensus. If one considers "implicit" endorsement (accepting the consensus without explicit statement), the figure rises to 45%. However, while only 32 papers (6%) reject the consensus outright, the largest category (48%) are neutral papers, refusing to either accept or reject the hypothesis. This is no "consensus."

The figures are even more shocking when one remembers the watered-down definition of consensus here. Not only does it not require supporting that man is the "primary" cause of warming, but it doesn't require any belief or support for "catastrophic" global warming. In fact of all papers published in this period (2004 to February 2007), only a single one makes any reference to climate change leading to catastrophic results.

These changing viewpoints represent the advances in climate science over the past decade. While today we are even more certain the earth is warming, we are less certain about the root causes. More importantly, research has shown us that -- whatever the cause may be -- the amount of warming is unlikely to cause any great calamity for mankind or the planet itself.

Schulte's survey contradicts the United Nation IPCC's Fourth Assessment Report (2007), which gave a figure of "90% likely" man was having an impact on world temperatures. But does the IPCC represent a consensus view of world scientists? Despite media claims of "thousands of scientists" involved in the report, the actual text is written by a much smaller number of "lead authors." The introductory "Summary for Policymakers" -- the only portion usually quoted in the media -- is written not by scientists at all, but by politicians, and approved, word-by-word, by political representatives from member nations. By IPCC policy, the individual report chapters -- the only text actually written by scientists -- are edited to "ensure compliance" with the summary, which is typically published months before the actual report itself.

By contrast, the ISI Web of Science database covers 8,700 journals and publications.

Thanks Hank. I thought that I had bookmarked that article and I didn't.

    Doing it now.
