Olbermann Watch, "persecuting" Keith since 2004

Countdown with Keith Olbermann - November 12, 2007

"COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN" (8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. ET)

    Host: Keith Olbermann

    Topics/Guests:

    • POLITICS AND VETERANS: Richard Wolffe, Paul Reickhoff
    • HILLARY'S PLANT: Craig Crawford
    • LATEST O'REILLY ATTACK: Robert "Xanadu" Greenwald

The tan man is back! Dan Olbermahn's opening spiel was a study in lunatic wish fulfillment: Bush! It's his fault that a marine is divorced! Bush didn't stop him! Cheney! Photo Ops! [Ding!] Planted question but wait, Clinton didn't know! O'Reilly! Again! It's a blue Monday at Olbermann Watch.

Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly book Culture Warrior

#5: Nonsense intelligence, a "presidency of loopholes", Bush's politics of "fear and hate". "Mister" Bush hates the troops! It's the "so-called War on Terror" (tm Al-Jazeera). The Wolffe Man simpered and stammered and parroted OlbySpin. Bush's "empathy for veterans" is just a facade according to Merkle (thanks to his special psychic powers). Great thanks.

Anti-war vets not invited to several parades (Blue Blog Source: Daily Kos, Krazy Keith's favorite charity). How is this "Mister" Bush's fault? Fat Ass will find a way. Reickhoff himself marched in a parade. The "Marlboro marine" is divorced and suicidal and "Mister" Bush let it happen! Incredible. It's official: Keith is a lunatic. "Mister" Bush didn't show up for the ceremonial laying of the wreath: it's "disrespect"! It's "stupidity"! He thinks war is a "video game". Reickhoff says Bush never served in combat. Gee, what does that say for Clinton, Obama, and the rest? The question never asked. Great thanks.

#4: Damage control: Hillary and the planted questions. Naturally the segment began with a rundown of all the evils of Bush. But how to spin this to protect his candidate? Olby will find a way. Brain was there to say this was just an "over-zealous" advance man, Hillary merely "stubbed her toe", yada yada yada. KO quickly joined in: it's common, it was a global warming question, FEMA did much worse. Is the spin making you dizzy yet? Oops, quick, change the subject to Rudy! Slick move, Olbermahn. Brain chortled and sniggered as per usual, which netted him Great Thanks.

#3: British Airways ghost flights (regurgitated video from ITV). #2: Prince Harry, Kanye West, and Cruise News! In the Media Matters Minute: Mike Huckabee (R), Rush Limbaugh, and Tom Delay (R). Another trifecta! A perfect pyramid! More attacks from Keith "I am not politically biased" Olbermann.

After a "Fox Noise" [Ding!] and "Fixed News" [Ding!] we got #1: "Documentary filmmaker" Greenwald, there to get free PR for another of his dishonest propaganda videos--an incompetent tyro whose main claim to fame was "Xanadu". This incoherent mess was so bad that an award for worst movies (the Razzies) was created, just so they could hand one over to Greenwald. Given his inability to display even the merest modicum of competence, Mr Xanadu found that he could survive in a niche market by selling dishonest far-left propaganda to a tiny but vocal gang of blue blog buffs. The perfect Olbermann guest! He thinks it's awwwful that eeeevil Fox shows pretty women on screen. As far as Olby is concerned, he's not interested unless they like Merlot. Oralmann's premise is that the evil Fox talks about this stuff and then gets to show the shocking videos. Meanwhile Olby talked about Fox as he himself showed the shocking videos--no racier than what you can see at the beach, by the way. "Fixed Noise" [Ding!]. Greenwald spouted his usual lies ("everybody" at Fox says "global warming doesn't exist") and Herr Olbermann was in hog heaven.

    OLBY

Dogs That Did Not Bark: Good old Bathtub Boy. He is so predictable when it comes to what stories he will flog and which ones he'll bury. That's why we write this segment up hours before The Hour of Spin even airs. Over the years we have guessed right every time but one. The infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann has run the video of Bush trying to open a door so often the oxide was coming off the tape, complete with how this is a "metaphor" [Ding!]. But for some reason, he didn't find the flags collapsing all around Hillary Clinton any sort of "metaphor" [Ding!]. How could he? He didn't even mention it. Then there are the verbal gaffes and mistakes that are headline news when a Republican makes them. But when Bill Richardson doesn't even know who's commanding our forces in Iraq, the decree from OlbyPlanet comes out: spike the story!

    MisterMeter

Olbermann's book The book that bears Olbermann's name is #21,341 on amazon, while "Culture Warrior" is #5,161. (It's that 2-for-$25 sale!) Barnes & Noble has the OlbyTome down to #113,487; O'Reilly's book is #2,510 there,--and it's now out in paperback! Amazon lists the Culture Warrior paperback at #507, while the paperback edition of Oralmann's book is a mighty #23,935. Har! Thursday brought the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann another humiliating loss to You Know Who, both in total viewers and in the coveted, pivotal, much-beloved, critical, all-important "key demo". Tonight's MisterMeter reading: 4 [GUARDED]

His fixation with Bill O and Fox News continues.....By the way did anyone catch Laura Ingraham put that hack comedian Joy Beyhar in her place today on the View. It was hilarious. Elizabeth is ok but she does not have the knowledge that Laura has. Joy couldn't even answer her. I wish she was on there permanently. Also, Bill O is on there tomorrow.

Keith "I am not politically biased" Olbermann.

This gets funnier every time I read it.......To think there are 'people' that actually believe it.

    Olbermann is propaganda!

Krazy Keith spends much time bashing Fox
But NBC is sinking like rocks
When it's all said and done
Bill spanks Keith three to one
And Edward Murrow never sniffed jocks

Did Morton Olbermann Jr. get his talking points correct tonight? Sure did.

    1. George Bush evil.

    2. Olbermann's master Hillary didn't plant questions, one of her zombies did. Not Olbermann though. He is a good zombie. Some how it was Rudy's fault.

    3. Fox News evil and full of whores (Unlike CNBC who's Maria Bartiromo screwed the married CEO of Citi to get free plane rides and stories).

    NBC pushes Global Warming
At halftime did they give a warning
    Silly symbolism, candlesticks
Got to fool those stupid hicks
They all jetted home after ajourning

KO also suggested that FOX runs smut at the expense of covering important issues like the war in Iraq. And of course the Outfoxed propagandist thoroughly chewed on that red meat.

What a joke. Oralmahnn has become cartoonish with his FOX-hating schtick.

Did anyone catch the halftime banter last night between Olby and Collinsworth... I could have sworn that Collinsworth had made a response to one of fat asses witty remarks about how people get fired in the TV industry or something close to that...

A transcript or video would be wonderful!

NBC is pushing the hoax of global warming because they are owned by GE. GE has more money invested in alternative energy companies and carbon offset companies than any other company. GE also has more lobbyists in Washington than any other company. GE is looking for the Government to force citizens and companies to buy GE products. This is a boondoggle that the American people are going to be paying for. We are going to be paying tax money to GE.

Excellent! NBC doesn't actually BELIEVE this green crap, they just want to make a buck off of it to serve their own economic best self-interests! Sort of the same way that Olby panders to the lefties to get them to watch his show--it's in his own best self-interest.

Just For You, why/some 50 others......

    Weather Channel Founder:
Global Warming ‘Greatest Scam in History’

    By Noel Sheppard | November 7, 2007 - 17:58 ET

If the founder of The Weather Channel spoke out strongly against the manmade global warming myth, might media members notice?

We're going to find out the answer to that question soon, for John Coleman wrote an article published at ICECAP Wednesday that should certainly garner attention from press members -- assuming journalism hasn't been completely replaced by propagandist activism, that is.

The flag incident was actually a setup by the opposition in order to make it seem like the Hillary campaign is crumbling. We did a full analysis on the video tape and have screen shots posted.

This is what KO was talking about. I like this kind of propaganda.
    http://foxattacks.com/decency?utm_source=rgemail

    My Little Dickey,

You are so very right. Those skanks are too nasty! Come back to me, lover.

I remember seeing the Bush clip with the locked door about a dozen times in 24 hours on TV.....

I enjoyed the clip and thought Bush's reaction was quite funny....but the subtext was the same ....(and why ot was played so much)...that Bush was a buffoon.

The HRC flag incident was just as amusing with her reaction being rather funny, but its coverage has been limited....Especially on COUNTDOWN....not surprising.

Once again, the partisanship of Olbermann is glaring, but I guess blindrat et al have a different explaination.

For those yet to see the video....

    http://ugv.abcnews.go.com/player.aspx?id=1071256

As the parallels to the 1968 Nixon campaign continue to mount for HRC, the more I am enjoying this round. It will be very interesting if the political class will morph HRC into today's "Tricky Dick" with her staged events, distancing from and mistruct of the press and robotic campaign style....

I think it would be of great credit to the fringe left if we see a repeat of the 1968 Democratic convention as well!

It would make for a rather ironic situation.

Even HRC cheerleaders are worried about Hillary Nixon......

    http://www.newsweek.com/id/69330

Pisses Why Don't I Think Intelligently:

"The world moves on and tries to do what is right."

    END QUOTE

Yeah? Like Germany, France and Russia violating UN Resoultion 1441 and paying Sadam money and trading arms for oil while he could take a shit in a gold plated toilet and his son could fly in $2k/hour hookers while his children starved? Like the UN sitting back and whining about GW, Fox News and Rush while people are being butchered in Africa? Like Iran working and planning ont he day they can nuke the shit out of us and Israel?

    ***********************************

    Concludes Why Don't:

"The Three Stooges continue to deny reality and make fools of themselves."

    END QUOTE

You really are stupid. When they raise the price of gas a buck a gallon to "study/waste/abuse" global warming you'll be the first bitch to whine. I hope oil goes to $200/drum and gas hits $10/gallon and puts you out on the road pedaling a bike. I can afford it. You can't. Most of you liberal bitches are whining because of the pain you feel at the pump.

GW and I'll pass by while GW leans out the window of my Expedition and hits you in the back of the head with a can of Budweiser.

Could someone kindly recap the Ingraham - Behar fracas please.
Just love to hear how Ingraham dismantled that fake.

(8:51AM) Once again Anonymous illustrates his lack of credentials for MENSA membership....

    Keep on treading water Anon...

You guys really like your media personalities. It's no wonder that you like fox.

NBC is pushing the hoax of global warming because they are owned by GE. GE has more money invested in alternative energy companies and carbon offset companies than any other company. I do believe in global warming, And yes, it will not be without the exploitation on the part of corporations looking to make money. It is one of the many evils of capitalism.

Oh yeah. Keith did a good show.

Oh yeah. Keith did a good show.

Speaking of the EVILS entailed in GE trying to make a buck.. :D

I don't know who did the artwork, Johnny, but they've taken 25lbs off Edward R. Moron and added five of it to his eyebrows.

I think women with bushy eyebrows are sexy :)

A college friend always found hair on women's toes sexy. I thought that was odd.

    Had you forgotten to wax?

    (10:30 AM) He, he

He, he = a chuckle....I have to admit Cecelia does cause a chuckle frequently...but a comic genius?....

Unlike the usual ROFLAO the silly posters like wannawipe use that would indicate a comic genius....I tend not to be so demonstrative.

You are most assuredly not a slapstick sort.

Posted by: Anonymous at November 13, 2007 10:36 AM

Oh my goodness, you have no idea!

Olby spends so much time "covering" Fox News he hardly has any time left to cover important things like Iraq. Of course, it seems no Democrat has time to cover Iraq anymore. All of that bad news is too depressing. If Olby wakes up one day and realizes that he will look like a fool saying "...the xxxxx day since declaration of 'Missioni Accomplished'..." he may hang himself on the air instead. I look forward to that day.

so do women (specifically, YOUNG women) think it's sexy when bushy eyebrowed, orange faced men, stuff shoulder pads into their jackets?

KO's candidate Hillary has her people warning Wolf Blitzer not to be"mean"to her at the upcoming CNN debate....think KO's been given his marching orders yet by Clinton's Media Matters on how to deal with Wolf if he disobeys?

It's been too long...."Democrats zero for 40 on Iraq"

"Since taking the majority, they have forced 40 votes on bills limiting President Bush’s war policy.

"Only one of those has passed both chambers, even though both are run by Democrats. That one was vetoed by Bush.

"Indeed, the only war legislation enacted during this Congress has been to give the president exactly what he wants, and exactly what he has had for the past five years: more money, with no limitations."

    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1107/6845.html

    ###
Oh boy, even the grand Olbermann has covered the Iraq War less and less while American troops are still in harms way.....Why?....

Oh boy, I really thought this was an immoral war based on lies THAT HAD TO BE ENDED!!!!

Cut the funds, end the war now!

    Oh boy...the leftist ruling elite....40 and 0!

And this is my post today, the 1,658th day since the declaration of Mission Accomplished in Iraq.....

I am cee, good night and good luck.

Nov. 1 Wall Street Journal op-ed by climate skeptic John Christy, a former member of the IPCC. In the op-ed, Christy wrote, "I see neither the developing catastrophe nor the smoking gun proving that human activity is to blame for most of the activity we see."

Christy has a B.A. in mathematics and an M.S. and Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences. Gore earned a degree in government and then attended divinity school and law school. Gore also failed his undgrad science classes.

Please, Beck would need to spend a week worth of shows lying and floating maniacal conspiracy theories to match Olbermann. Olbermann is a proven liar and Clinton campaign mouthpiece.

"Christy has a B.A. in mathematics and an M.S. and Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences. Gore earned a degree in government and then attended divinity school and law school. Gore also failed his undgrad science classes."

But Gore has an Oscar,Emmy and Noble peace prize..so clearly that makes him more of an expert than somebody with a silly B.A. in mathematics and an M.S. and Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences. LOL!!!

"Why is it ok for Jeff Gannon to leave Karl Rove's bed, put some clothes on, and go ask Dumya planted questions?

"Why is it also ok for Bush to clear out any opposition from town hall meetings?"

    ###
First off, the implications of Gannon's sexual preferences (or your alleged claims of Rove's bisexuality) on his performance as a "plant" for President Bush to use are lost on me...however, I'll bite on the rest....

The left pounced on the story and used it in the continuing saga illustrating just how dumb Bush is....HRC, on the other hand, is the perfect intellectual foil for the current executive and I, being opposed to the left's candidate, am rather gleeful that she does the same exact thing as those the left hates.....

You see it's simple....I am a partisan, an admitted partisan (unlike Olbermann) who is more than happy to pile-on anyone the left glorifies as their leader....

Olbermann claims jounalistic neutrality yet piles on selectively (in reality a partisan)

Its politics, wasted...and I am glad to participate...but I am not a supposed news man on a cable show.

Oh and BTW, I did condemn the FEMA fiasco with the fake reporters and endorced their reprimand.

"He also is an ExxonMobil whore."

So what? Are you disagreeing with the statement above? Christy does NOT have a B.A. in mathematics nor M.S. and Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences?

Your statement that he is a ExxonMobil whore is not proof or evidence that Christy is not infinitely more qualified to discuss atmospheric science than is AlGore. Christy may be an "ExxonMobil whore" but I am certain he has forgotten more about atmospheric science than that dumbass, Gore will ever know.

Al Gore made 150 million dollars last year. How much did Christy make?

50 Billion dollars has been spent worldwide on man made global warming. How much has NBC/GE spent promoting this hoax while investing in companies that profit from it?

AP "Gore, who won the Nobel Peace Prize last month for his work on climate change, joins Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers as it and dozens of other venture firms expand into so-called ‘clean-tech' investments worldwide."

Also Monday, Kleiner Perkins partner John Doerr announced he's joining the advisory board of Generation Investment Management, the $1 billion investment firm that Gore founded with David Blood, who previously managed $325 billion in assets out of Goldman Sachs' London office. Doerr is one of Silicon Valley's most outspoken clean-tech advocates.

Gore's] GIM appears to have considerable influence over the major carbon-credit trading firms that currently exist: the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) in the U.S. and the Carbon Neutral Company (CNC) in Great Britain. CCX is the only firm in the U.S. that claims to trade carbon credits.

Clearly, GIM is poised to cash in on carbon trading. The membership of CCX is currently voluntary. But if the day ever comes when federal government regulations require greenhouse-gas emitters -- and that's almost everyone -- to participate in cap-and-trade, then those who have created a market for the exchange of carbon credits are in a position to control the outcomes. And that moves Al Gore front and center.

CNN's Wolf Blitzer has been warned not to focus Thursday's Dem debate on Hillary. 'This campaign is about issues, not on who we can bring down and destroy,' top Clinton insider explains. Posted by: Wasted Keystrokes at November 13, 2007 7:34 PM

Noooo... I don't think Al Gore is interested in making money, I think he is a very nice and sincere guy who is doing what he thinks is best for the country.

And I think long before global warming, Al Gore had some ideas about regulations on businesses and upon people, that he thinks would be best for the country.

Global warming just makes those great good things for little old us easier to obtain because now there's a grand reason....

What I said about scientists was in the context of Trent mentioning some other guy as being a corporate whore or something like that.

My point is that cientists are people too, and they have ambitions and interests just as much as the people who run businesses and corporations, etc. So do institutions of learning...which get tremendous amounts of govt. grant money and prestige from research.

Too often the tenor of the discussion here is that they are some sort of high priesthood that is beyond questioning and indeed-- the ire raised by questioning is akin to the most rigid and doctrinal theist.

You have to be pretty jaded an individual to think that Gore is inspired by money

After all why would plagiarizing the work of others be a big deal to a PhD and teacher?

What's a bit of drag and click from students doing the ole research paper, eh.. WDYT... Hopefully they all get their information from the same site and turn in identical papers and you can just read and grade the first one you get or maybe just go to the site yourself. Saves time...

By chance you aren't Ward Churchill, are you?

As for your environmental concerns for the recycling of discarded human fetuses, I did answer that question.

Well, it's a sad thing WDYT, but I'm pretty sure that most teachers, "anal" and old-fashioned as they are, don't think that plagiarizing is fine, as long as it's done on the internet..." at the Olbermann Watch!"... as "an amusing waste of time".

I doubt too, that the legal system has caught up to your progressive outlook on "redistributing" the work of others.

But hey...you're on the cutting edge, redefining what it is to be a PhD and teacher in this new century.

Evidently, what you think the academic world is in dire need of are PhDs who are morons, liars, and jerks.

Hey Folks, here's a little message I sent to Olberdork

Absolutely, it is my idea of "grace, justification, transmutation of righteousness, and forgiveness" because goodness knows you need all four.

Starting with the people whose words you steal because you aren't capable of writing your own.

Looks like you'd have some practice in formulating your own thoughts, WDYT, and putting them out on a blogboard. What with all pressure on academics to publish and such, shouldn't you have some skill?

It just shouldn't be such a burden of time and effort for you, even when in indulging in mere amusement here, seeing how you have no difficulty typing out all sorts of screeds about your opponents under a plethora of names.

I suppose I should take into consideration that your stuff is relentlessly repetitious though.

Now that I think about it plagiarizing is the one chance you have to put your name to something interesting and different, let alone the immense favor that is to someone who might read it.

We can all be thankful to God for the small blessings.

I thought health care and health insurance were different but I am a stupid conservative that can't see the beauties of socialism. I am still trying to figure out how the speech PRESIDENT Bush gave in Waco on Veterans Day can be spun so that it says that "Mr." Bush hates the troops
