I think there's certainly an element of that but you have to remember that he is a guy who left a tv show so he wouldn't have to report that President Clinton had lied, tampered with witnesses, and generally tried to thwart a politically motived law suit after the Supreme Court had ruled that the party could sue.

It's perfectly reasonable to him to say that a tv cable station is more dangerous than foreign and domestic terrorists, but then operate a show that is the equivalent of DNC tv.
