On MSNBC nothing says Christmas like non-stop crime and violence. But here at Olbermann Watch we want to do better than that during this holiday season. So we take this opportunity to wish our readers a Merry Christmas and a great New Year. That goes to everyone, the loons as well as the clear-thinkers. And to Keith too; we wouldn't have the #1 Olbermann blog in the world without him!
Merry Christmas to you too, J$! And God Bless Olbermann Watch!
I'm sure Santa will give Keith an appropriate present.*
*Keith asked for a date with Mary Carey, but alas, Santa thought a lump of coal would make a better gift for K.O.
Keith Olbermann is a coward.
He's probably drunk on a NYC corner ranting about Bush and O'Reilly!
Olby is known for wearing thong undies even though he has flabby ass cheeks. O'Lielly gets moist just thinking about it. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
merry chistmas. i like saying it cuz it pisses off olbermann. i dare him to wish ANYONE a merry christmas!
O'lielly, will you please shut your vile trap and take your venom and hatred elsewhere?
Merry Christmas everyone else!
Thank you.
On Fox they will air Christmas mass
But NBC possesses no class
It's Christmas time
Show violence and crime
NBC? Santa Claus will pass
Merry Christmas to all-yes, even the Olbyloons!
Brandon, please come back. There are loons to be mocked, not to mention Olbyhypocrisy that's happening before our eyes everyday. Where are you?
How can anyone take this Groucho Marx lookin fella seriously. It's so much fun from time to time watching him trying his ass off to look like he has a serious message for the world.I hope he stays on just because I love watching someone struggle. Hey,it's human nature to want to watch the killer whale eat the sea lion! He cracks me up when he trys so hard to be serious!
I can't wait till Olbermann is back on the air and announces his engagement to Chopper Bob's daughter (Bob, by the way, is YOUNGER than Olbermann)! The tears from all the "Leonas" will be a great thing indeed!
Wonder if Keith will offer up any mention of MSNBC colleague Chris Matthews' statement this morning that his trusted source, Media Matters, is a Hillary Clinton website:

If anyone at Fox News or CNN suggested that, they would be instant WPITW but we all know what Olbermann's Manhood Quotient is, so Matthews is off the hook.
Chuck Todd, NBC Political Director had this on his blog First Read:
CALLING OUT MEDIA MATTERS' BIAS
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2007/11/15/468740.aspx
"...institutions that I helped to start and support like Media Matters and Center for American Progress. We’re beginning to match what I had said for years was the advantage of the other side.”
They posted the video where Hillary is saying this (just as OW posted, I think before Todd's blog). The comments are interesting as well, because many seemed to know already that Hillary helped start Media Matters. Olbermann did not criticize NBC's Political Director, I doubt he'll give Chris Matthews a WPITW. (Besides, he too busy making up quotes he thought he said to Matthews:

2007 TV Year In Review: Great Performances
Story by Andrew Payne
Starpulse contributing writer
Dec. 26. 2007
Keith Olbermann on "Football Night in America" - "Remember when Babe Ruth hit more home runs than entire teams? Keith Olbermann is having that type of year with football highlights." That quote from Norman Chad of the Houston Chronicle beautifully sums up the impact Olbermann has had on the otherwise torpid NBC pre-game show. Olbermann's two-minute reads contain more laughs than entire segments of "Saturday Night Live" and once again proves that the best "Sportscenter" anchors no longer appear on the show.

Hopefully "common sense" and "a set of balls" was on oralmann's Christmas wish list. Two things he definitely lacks. Hope Santa came through for you olbydickless. You left wing water-carrying political hack. HO! HO! HO!
video of Olbermann mocking Collinsworth on SNF, then Collinsworth saying our NBC paid to fly in his girlfriends...too funny!

I see a patern here
He He.
Fox Newsers love their precious ratings. It is, of course, the ultimate litmus test for integrity.

So, you're saying that if Olbermahn was slaying them in the ratings you wouldn't make a peep? Yea, right.

Yeah, right.
Honestly, who cares about ratings?
Other than Fox News.
Advertisers
And best of all, Keith himself, because on occasion when his competitors are on vacation and his show is the only one not in reruns,,, he is on top in the ratings and then spends a whole week boasting about his feeble conquest.
Spare me your indignation Trent. Ratings are the measure of popularity and he regularly comes in a far third. And if they didnt matter... he or MSNBC wouldn't brag about trends. He sucks. He's in third! And his NFL show is floundering too! woohoo

I think his tongue-in-cheek bragging goes over your head. Doesn't it?
Maybe ratings do measure popularity, or maybe it just says conservatives watch more t.v.. If we assume you are right, it still is no, 'litmus test for integrity'.

Liberals watch just as much if not more tv. They just lean towards stuff like John Stewart and Bill Maher for the 'hard hitting' news. Can you explain their ratings? Litmus test for integrity? Or, does that theory only apply towards Fox News? Just curious.

Once again, ratings do not matter. This applies to all shows. I like Jon Stewart because I happen to like his show and his brand of comedy.
I know it is redundant but if ratings were the true indicator of success or integrity, then this theory would indicate that American Idol has the best singers, or that Will Smith movies have the best cinematography and plot lines. Advertising is all about manipulation, and ratings show what success the [insert corporation here] has had manipulating.
"Liberals watch as much if not more tv."....Got any proof to back up that statement?
"They just lean towards John Stewart and Bill Maher for hard hitting news.".....Got any proof to back up THAT statement?
"Can you explain their ratings?"....Duh....let me take a guess....people like to laugh?
"Litmus test for integrity?"....Not unless you consider "American Idol" a "litmus test for integrity".
"Or does that theory apply only to Fox News?....No, it applies only to revenue produced...which theoretically produces more profit - Busines 101. FACT: Integrity has nothing to do with ratings.
"Just curious.".....Curiosity has been known to kill a cat or two, as well as a few other creatures.
Chris Collingsworth said on-air that NBC had been flying in Olbermann's women???????
Just our daily dose......Before you interject, 'mike,' you should go back and read 'trents' posts. Then, read mine. Then, you can retract your 10:17 post, if you wish.
"Before you interject, 'mike', you should go back and read 'trents' posts. Then, read mine. Then, you can retract your 10:17 post, if you wish."
Been there...done that....nothing to "retract".
Benson: "Ratings are the measure of popularity and he regularly comes in a far third"
I think you should take a closer look at recent ratings before making ridiculous statements like that.

This from someone who has said "rating don't matter!"
TDF!!!!!
"This from someone who has said "ratings don't matter!"
But they DO seem to matter to you and yours, ..... and all I'm doing is correcting the record.
The analogies you loons throw out "If ratings were a sign of..." is pure bunk. Its apples to oranges. If another American Idol show came along and consistantly cam in third, it would be deemed crapped and canceled.
Olbermann comes in third against other new commentary shows consistantly, yet MSNBC continues to proclaim it a victory- "America's fastest growing news show"
Fact is- they are shining shit. And the loons that don't think ratings matter when it comes to KeithO are full of shit too. Then WHY does he jump up and down on his desk everytime his crappy show makes a blip on the ratings radar? Becuase it is TV...
The races by speed. They judge ballgames by score. They judge comparable news shows by ratings. RATINGS... you are spinning loons.
Not a subject you should defend KeithO on!
Honestly, who cares about ratings?
Other than Fox News.
Posted by: Trent the Anarcho-Syndicalist
Ummm, GE shareholders?
Mike, he comes in third far more than he comes in first...
I will guess 55% second 44% third and 1% first
And his second place finishes are ussualy in the DVR plus stats. But remember - its a distant second/third.
And I am not an Oreilley fan! I do like the fact he knocks your left wing puppet around like a pit bull on a Chihuahua.
Why than does MSNBC brag about ratings? You loons are missing the point.
Believe me, my favorite show of alltime was Arrested Development. And it was critically acclaimed but a ratings failure. It was axed.
MSNBC and Olbermann constantly bring up small ratings triumphs so it is fair game to mock how ridiculous it is. People that live in a bubble and troll around blue blogs think Keithey is a success. Fact is he is a deity of the far left.
And you are an idiot if you think he is presenting his rare rating wins - tongue in cheek. TRENT stated "I think his tongue-in-cheek bragging goes over your head" There is no self deprication there. He's atlking to idiots like you that believe him. I've seen his act. Its designed to make the loons think they are winning the battle. Yet he is a loser! And so are his fans.
If windbag Uberdouche didn't brag about his ratings so much, no one would case on him... got it?
"Success", in cable television terms, is defined by high ratings. "Failure" is defined by low ratings. It's a simple fact, just ask Keith.
O'Reilly is a success, Olbermann is a failure... nuf sed.
"This from someone who has said "ratings don't matter!"
But they DO seem to matter to you and yours, ..... and all I'm doing is correcting the record.

Good god noooooo! (you really think Olbermann had ANY women to fly in back then?) Collinsworth was talking about HIMSELF--and the other players were yucking it up, it was pretty funny---check it out:

goodness, 'ol Dorrie is everywhere when it comes to Keith (From the website, Whos Dating Who):
Dorrie - posted 46 days ago It`s true. Ingraham guested on KO`s first show on MSNBC, "The Big Show." At that time she had many many positive things to say about him. The political environment was a lot less toxic then.
http://www.whosdatedwho.com/celebrities/people/dating/keith-olbermann.htm
by the way, they describe Keith as "athletic" Didn't realize that a 300+ lb. plus pear shaped fatass is considered athletic nowadays.
""Correcting" something that you and many others have claimed "doesn't matter?""
Well, just tell Benson and the other Olbermann haters to stop posting false information about KO's ratings, and I'll stop correcting you when you're wrong, nor will I bring it up myself.
BTW, I don't believe you're 'laughing' at all. I don't even think you personally know how to laugh.
