The Patsies go 18-1 and become the laughing stock of the NFL.

There's some great symbolism for OW in that statement too....Phony...
Speaking of sports. Show me someone that played on a good high school football team and I'll show you someone that is successful in life. Sports parallels life. That is why Olbytard is so out of place on SNF other than Tiki Barber.
I'll bet one of my nuts Tike is a liberal. Liberals are not team players and they will fuck up anything they are a part. When Tom Coughlin went to the Giants there was a huge uproar. He was know to have a drill instructor mentallity when he caoched the Jags. In his first season with the Giants he had the nerve to tell players to be on time for meetings in training camp, leave you Ipod in the locker along with your cell phone. Several players including Straham and old whoper choppers himself, Tiki started runing their mouths. Then along came another cancer, JEremy Shocky. Tiki retires and then, like the five pussy assed generals, shoots his mouth off after he leaves. He says he may have stayed if Coughlin was fired. Straham held out this pre-season threatening to retire. SHocky got hurt.
Now look. Tiki is hosting some morning show on an NBC local affiliate, Shocky has been replaced by a second teamert who is out preforming him when he was healthy and Straham is just a mouthy assed follower that has "got on the bus". The cancer has been removed and the Giants are in the Super Bowl.
Liberals are the same way. Reid, Pelosi, Hillary or Barack Bin Laden couldn't manage our janitorial staff here at work.
Hate to do this to you Soldier... but Tiki is widely seen as being a Republican.
If you do a Google search on "Tiki Barber" and "Republican" you can find a whole bunch of references to his time at FOX, and why he is seen by some as a Conservative role model.
Personally, I put more of the blame on Caughlin, than on Tiki. Caughlin, like you said, is a drill instructor. However, you only need a drill instructor for the new recruits, the grunts... not for the seasoned veterans. Those guys need to be treated like men... like they've already accomplished something... with mutual respect. Coughlin didn't do that until this year, and in turn, the team started responding to him.
Additionally, I blame Coughlin for his inability to be a rock on the sideline. Did you see him after Tynes missed those two kicks? First time, Coughlin was screaming in his face... like Tynes missed the kick on purpose. The second time, he was just hanging his head. A good coach is supposed to motivate the team, even in the face of a mistake... not compound the blame. Tynes knew he f*cked up... he needed encouragement, not put downs. Luckily he redeemed himself... but with no help (IMO) from Caughlin's coaching.
But I digress... Tiki is a Republican, Coughlin is responsible for the team's lack of discipline... and I hope they can muster another win, and kick the crap out of the Patriots.
All I wanna see is Tom Brady... crying on the sidelines. It'll be sweet. Go Big Blue.

ditto that
Oh, the irony......
If you saw Barber on television and didn't know he was a Republican, you must have had the sound off. Television comes from "tele" (the Greek word for at a distance) and "vision" (the act of seeing or sight).

Olbermann, by all accounts, is largely apolitical.

The Giants are just now recovering from the media blowing smoke up their butts about how great they were after the 2001 Super Bowl. You'd think losing 34-7 would be a little humbling, but the egos that sprouted from just making it to the big game that year -- especially Tiki -- poisoned the locker room atmosphere for the next several years, costing Fassil his job because the players wanted to trash talk and brag before they sealed the deal (even the 2002 debacle in San Francisco didn't put a dent in their mindset).
It took Coughln four years, a change of attitude and the retirement of Barber (who was at odds with Strahan as well as with the head coach) to get the atmosphere in the locker room straightened out. And the Week 15 broken leg suffered by Jeremy "I Only Work Out In The Off-season At The U" Shockey seems to have liberated Manning to throw the ball where the openings are, and not where the over-hyped tight end is supposed to be.
Anyway, enjoy the trio to Glendale, Robert. Like I said in the other thread, the stadium's great and if the Cardinals ran as well as the system they use to get you to and from your seat, they'd be in the Super Bowl right now (though for some reason, I don't think the Lot H parking for the Super Bowl is going to be free, the way it was for the Dallas-Arizona game a year ago).
Perspective....

Look for a button or control marked "Volume". Increase the volume level, and you will have sounds coming from your television. Then, we can have intelligent conversations about what you "saw" on television.

Well, the Patriots' line apparently is going to have some added incentive to block well for Brady on Feb. 3 in Phoenix, since the New York Post got a photo of him today with a walking boot on his foot:

There's no way he's not going to play, but if the Giants can figure out a way to get through New England's O-line (not an easy task), Tom's probably not going to be moving around all that deftly if he does have a fractured right foot.
"Brady is a champion and a perfect gentleman."

A "perfect gentleman" does not impregnate supermodels whom they are not actually married to. A "perfect gentleman" does not make another single mother. And a "perfect gentleman" does not pretend nothing happened, after his team gets caught cheating.
"Well you can wish in one hand and shit in the other. In the end you'll end up with a handful of shit. And a Patriots victory."
Posted by: Wasted Keystrokes at January 21, 2008 8:03 PM
I got a better idea. How about in one hand I'll wish... and in YOUR hand, I'll take a dump. That way, even a Patriots victory will seem somewhat satisfying.
Thanks, loser!
The loser is scouring, time to go......
The Giants, just like George Bush were not suppossed to win, yet they did.

Thanks for not cursing, you are nuts. Go Giants! F%ck Bush.

You have to have money to pay someone, just ask me.
You also have to control the media. Like I do

Which media does he control? He owns a station so he "controls the media?" You should be a painter with those broad strokes you paint. Is cnn, msnbc, hnn, bbc, ap, the times included in the media you refer too?
Duh, HUH?
